Engine light on Dealership found a rodent nest in the engine space in the car. Dealership considers that fluids used to coat Audi engine wiring attract rodents. Dealership considers this to be a health and safety issue. Dealership considers it essential to replace the Audi air filter. Dealership is checking wires to assess any gnawed damage. I need the engine to be power-washed and the nest area treated w/bleaching agents. I do not have the total estimate on this but it will be greater than $1,000.
I went to Audi Fort Worth (116 University Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76107) to fix my PODS recall currently on my Audi A4. After a day of servicing my vehicle for the recall the dealership handed me back my vehicle in the condition attached in the photo. You can see the huge gap in the seat which is a safety hazard considering there is high voltage wires in the seat and they just left it exposed with a considerable gap. They refused to reassemble my seat so I am unsure if my airbag sensors even work now, it has been a week of waiting and my VIN still shows that it has a recall even though the service was completed a week ago. I asked for a service ticket of he work preformed but Audi Fort Worth refused to provide me one. I went in for the recall service on 1/24/2021. Is there any way we can remove my VIN from this recall list since the service was completed? I have messaged the Audi Service manager Veronica about this issue but still no response from her. Even left her an email and voice message. I just would like to file a complaint about this service center, and get my VIN removed from the recall list since the work was performed according to Audi.
I RECENTLY PURCHASED MY AUDI A4 AND IMMEDIATELY HAVE HAD ELECTRICAL ISSUES. JUST RECENTLY THE BACK WINDOW WILL RANDOMLY ROLL DOWN AND LAST NIGHT WHEN I STARTED MY CAR THE SAFETY SYSTEM LIGHT AND MESSAGE CAME ON. IT STATED SEE OWNERS MANUAL. I BEGAN TO DRIVE AND THE LIGHT TURNED OFF. AS I DROVE IT BEGAN TO BLINK ON AND OFF THEN FINALLY STAYING ON AND MAKING IT DISTRACTING TO DRIVE.
THE HORN WILL NOT ACTIVATE WHEN PRESSED IN THE LOCATION OF ABOUT 3 - 6 O'CLOCK (LOWER RIGHT QUADRANT). THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE MANAGER STATED THAT THERE IS TWO SENSORS IN THIS MODELS UNIT, ONE AT AROUND 12 (TOP) AND 7 (LOWER LEFT), AND THAT THE HORN CAN ONLY EASILY ACTIVATE IF PRESSED IN EITHER THOSE LOCATIONS OR IF PRESSED IN THE CENTER.
REAR WINDOW ON DRIVER'S SIDE OF VEHICLE LOWERS ITSELF 6-INCHES AFTER VEHICLE HAS BEEN PARKED AND LOCKED WITH FOB REMOTE. HAS OCCURRED AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH SINCE OWNERSHIP. NO DEALERSHIPS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REPLICATE THE ISSUE.
ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT WINDOW STOPPED FUNCTIONING. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN THE DOWN POSITION WHEN THIS HAPPENS. THE OTHER WINDOWS STILL FUNCTION PROPERLY. MULTIPLE VEHICLE POWER CYCLES DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. AFTER A FEW DAYS IT JUST STARTED TO WORK, THE FIRST TIME. IT STILL DOES NOT WORK AFTER THE SECOND OCCURRENCE, THAT BEGAN EARLIER TODAY. DIDN'T MATTER IF THE VEHICLE WAS MOVING OR NOT, HAD BEEN RUNNING FOR A WHILE BUT NOT MOVING. THE FIRST OCCURRENCE HAPPENED THE DAY AFTER THE DEALER DELIVERED THE VEHICLE, IT CURRENTLY HAS 15XX MILES.
WHEN I GOT THE CAR IN MAY. AFTER A WEEK, WE WENT WITH FRIENDS OUT. WHEN I BRAKED THE CAR BEGAN TO MOVE INTO THE PASSENGER FRONT SEAT TO THE ADVANCE AND INCLINES UP TO A MAXIMUM FRONT OF THE DASHBOARD. SO IN CASE OF A CAR ACCIDENT, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD. AUDI DEALER THEY DID NOT BELIEVE ME AND THOUGHT I WAS MISINFORMED. AND IT WAS NOT HARD BRAKING, BUT NORMAL BRAKING (SLOWING DOWN). BECAUSE MANY TIMES IT HAPPENED TO ME OUT OF THE CAR STARTED TO BRAKE WITHOUT A REASON TO BRAKE, WHEN I TRIED TO GO AROUND BIKERS AT THE SAFE DISTANCE, OR WHEN PARKING (UNTIL TODAY). WHEN I MADE THE COMPLAINT IN THE AUDI DEALER, BEFORE, THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, AND LAUGHED IN JUNE.
