A 18 WHEELERS TIRE TREAD WAS IN THE ROAD. I STRADDLED IT TO AVOID A WRECK. THE TREAD PUNCTURED THE FRONT OF MY PLASTIC GAS TANK RESULTING IN A GAS LEAK. I HAD TO PAY FOR A NEW TANK AND INSTALLATION. THERE ISN'T A PROTECTIVE SHIELD ON THE FRONT OF TANK.
