EVERY SINCE I PURCHASES THIS CAR IT HAS A DEFECT WITH THE WINDOWS THEY COME OFF TRACK AND PARTS FALLS DOWN INSIDE THE WINDOW PANELS. IT WONT ALLOW YOU TO ROLL THE WINDOW NEITHER UP NOR DOWN. IN SOME CASES THE WINDOW HAS FALLEN AND HAD TO BE REPLACE, THIS IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. *NM
WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH CONSUMER LOST THE ABILITY TO STEER THE VEHICLE. THEN, CONSUMER LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND COLLIDED WITH A MEDIAN DIVIDER. CONSUMER WAS WEARING A SEAT BELT, BUT THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. CONSUMER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES. *AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS. TWO WEEKS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED IN DECEMBER OF 2007, THE CONTACT NOTICED A LOUD NOISE WHEN MAKING LEFT TURNS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS DEFECTIVE AND WAS REPAIRED FOR FREE. TWO MONTHS AFTER THE REPAIR, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED WORKING AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. THE MECHANIC INFORMED HER THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPER BOX FAILED AND WAS REPAIRED. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STOPPED ACCELERATING. THE CONTACT SMELLED A BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL WELL. SHE PULLED THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WOULD SHIFT GEARS, BUT IT WOULD NOT MOVE FORWARD OR BACKWARDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE BRAKE OIL WAS CONTAMINATED AND THE MASTER CYLINDER WAS DEFECTIVE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED SINCE THE LAST INCIDENT. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70,874 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,300.
TO NEW TO BE HAVING THIS MANY PROBLEMS
2001 BUICK REGAL AND 2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS, THE HORNS ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO SOUND IN A PANIC OR EMERGENCY SITUATION. COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER TO NO AVAIL. *LA
THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT HIGHWAY SPEED, WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS HIT BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR QUARTER PANEL. THE REAR LIFTGATE LATCH TORE FROM THE FIBER GLASS LIFTGATE. THE LIFTGATE OPENED AND AN 8 YEAR OLD OCCUPANT WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE. BUILD DATE MAY 2003 ATTORNEY FOR CLIENT. *PH *SCC *JB

A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF WIND PUSHED THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR(WHILE IN THE OPEN POSITION) AND SCREWED UP THE DOR HINGE. NOW (AFTER CLOSING THE DOOR) THE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN. I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. WHEN I TOLD THEM MY PROBLEM THE ASKED IF I HAD A RENDEZVOUS OR AN AZTEC(THEY DID NOT SEE MY VEHICLE BUT IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THIS PROBLEM WAS HAPPENING ALOT WITH THESE MODELS)QUOTED $1000.00 TO REPAIR. *AK
THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM THE MANUFACTURER BUT THE DEALER DIDN'T HAVE THE PARTS AVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE RECALL. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *NLM
NHTSA CAMPAIGN 04V150000; DODGE ISSUED A REAR LIFTGATE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTED. *JB
TRANSMISSION FAILURE- REPLACED 12/04, WHEEL HUB BEARING FAILURE-REPLACED 06/05, HEATING/AC PROBLEMS SINCE NEW 09/03, BRAKE PROBLEMS SINCE NEW, WINDOW REGULATORS REPLACED 2X'S, HATCH LATCH FAILURE-MULTIPLE, PARKING BRAKE FAILURE 07/04-PRESENT, OVERHEATING 07/04-PRESENT
DEALER REPLACED MASTER CYLINDER TWICE, BUT PROBLEM STILL OCCURRING. *AK
THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS WERE GROSSLY OVERSIZED AND MADE THE VISION OBSCURE AT THE INTERSECTION. THE DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO VIEW VEHICLES TRAVELING IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE CONSUMER ALMOST HAD SEVERAL ACCIDENTS DUE TO THE PROBLEM. THE CONSUMER TURNED HIS BODY IN ORDER TO MAKE RIGHT/LEFT TURNS AT INTERSECTIONS. THE MIRROR WAS VERY CLOSE TO THE SIDE WINDOW. *AK *SCC *JB
2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS. I BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR $8200 ONE MONTH AGO. THE CAR HAD ONLY 78,000 BUT NOW HAS 81,000. IN ONE MONTH'S TIME AND 3000 MILES WE HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE BRAKES, THE MUFFLER, THE PLUGS AND WIRES, AS WELL AS THE COIL PACK. NOW WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM! ANTIFREEZE SMELL, KNOCKING IN THE ENGINE... LIKE ALL OTHER COMPLAINTS, IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER 2003 RENDEZVOUS WITH A BLOWN HEAD GASKET. I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING THIS ONLINE AND HAVE FOUND OVER 300 DIFFERENT COMPLAINTS FOR THE EXACT GASKET PROBLEM. WHAT CAN WE DO? THE FAILURE INFO: THE CAR IS JUMPING AT IDLE AND AT LOW SPEEDS EVERY TIME IT'S DRIVEN. IT'S NOW MAKING A KNOCKING NOISE THAT KNOCKS QUICKER THE MORE YOU SPEED UP. THE KNOCK IS SO LOUD NOW THAT THE ONLY PLACE IT IS BEING DRIVEN IS TO A REPAIR SHOP FOR WHAT WE ARE SURE IS ANOTHER HEAD GASKETS, LIKE SO MANY OTHERS HAVE HAD REPLACED WITH THIS PARTICULAR MODEL. *TR
WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARK IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE AND WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING VEHICLE JUMPED OUT OF GEAR AND HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. *AK
THE VEHICLE STARTED BLOWING FUSE AND THE HEADLIGHTS CAME ON AND OFF WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. *AK
CONSUMER STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AND WITHOUT WARNING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILED, CAUSING A DISTRACTION TO THE CONSUMER. DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND WILL STAY ON THE REMAINDER OF THE TIME THE VEHICLE IS BEING OPERATED. DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
THE GAS TANK FILL HOSE ENTERS TANK IN A POORLY SITUATED LOCATION. THE HOSE ENTERS THE TANK ON THE SIDE, BOTTOM THROUGH A FLEXIBLE BOOT. THE BOOT/HOSE IN THIS LOCATION IS SUSCEPTIBLE TO DAMAGE FROM ROAD DEBRIS. THE BOOT WAS TORN OPEN BY A STONE THE SIZE OF A GOLF BALL HITTING THE VEHICLE WHILE MOVING AT 60MPH. THE TEAR WAS SIGNIFICANT (3/4" TEAR IN BOOT WHERE CONNECTED TO TANK). THE FILLER HOSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN LOCATED EITHER HIGHER ON SIDE OR ON TOP OF TANK. POTENTIAL OF FIRE OR EXPLOSION SEVERE.*AK
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE STALLED INTERMITTENTLY AND WITHOUT. THE DEALER HAS BEEN UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *NLM
ENGINE NOISE AND OVER HEATING, TRANSMISSION HARD SHIFTS BETWEEN 1-2. *JB
DASHBOARD LIGHTS CAN'T BE VISIBLE DURING THE DAY. CONSUMER CAN'T SEE THE SPEEDOMETEROR GAS GAUGE. CONTINUOUS COMPLAINTS TO THE MANUFACTURER HAVE BEEN MADE WITH NO RESOLUTION.*AK
THE HORN IS VERY HARD TO OPERATE DURING AN EMERGENCY. THE HORN HAS TO BE PRESSED FORCIBLY IN THE CENTER IN ORDER TO OPERATE PROPERLY. DEALER HAS EXAMINED THE VEHICLE TWICE FOR THIS PROBLEM.*AK
I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE HEATER IN MY 2003 RENDEZVOUS. I HAVE BEEN TO MY DEALER, TALKED TOBUICK AND ALSO A FIELD REP.(DAVID BRIE?) I AM NOT HAPPY WITH ANSWERS I HAVE BEEN GIVEN. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT FEELS THERE IS A PROBLEM. WHEN THE HEATER IS PUT IN BI-LEVEL POSITION IT BECOMES EXTREMELY LOUD AND SOUNDS LIKE THE AIR CANT GET OUT WHEN PUT IN HEAT SETTING. WHEN PUT TO COLD SETTING THE AIR FLOWS FREELY. ALL MY OTHER PAST VEHICLES NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM AND WHEN IT IS EXTREMELY COLD THE CAR DOES NOT HEAT PROPERLY.*AK

E-MAIL FWD FM FHWA INQUIRING ABOUT A RECALL TO REPLACE A STRUCTURAL SUPPORT AT THE LATCH ATTACHMENT IN THE REAR LIFGATE OF HIS 2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS. *LA *NM
WHILE THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING HIS 2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS, LIGHTENING STRUCK THE ON STAR ANTENNA AND CAUSED COMPLETE ELECTRICAL FAILURE. *BF *NM
2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS WITH A FAILED BRAKING SYSTEM. CONSUMER HAD THE BRAKING SYSTEM REPAIRED. PRIOR TO GETTING IT FIXED TWO COMPANY'S TOLD HER THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BRAKES. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED JUST ABOUT EVERY TIME SHE APPLIED THE BRAKES WHEN GOING DOWN A SLIGHT GRADE, SHE WOULD EXPERIENCE BACKWARD PRESSURE. THE VEHICLE FELT AS IF IT WAS STILL MOVING AFTER THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. FINALLY, THE ABS LIGHT ILLUMINATED. SOON AFTER, THE PROBLEM WAS DISCOVERED TO BE THE POWER BRAKE SYSTEM. THE INSULATION FROM THE RIGHT FRONT SPEED SENSOR AND SURROUNDING WIRING CONTAINED AN OPEN CIRCUIT. *JB
2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS WHEEL BEARING NOISE. CONSUMER STATES THAT THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE BRAKE ROTORS WITH THE WRONG KIND. THIS CAUSED THE BRAKE PADS TO CRUMBLE DUE TO THIS PROBLEM. TOOK VEHICLE TO ANOTHER DEALER TO HAVE CORRECT WORK DONE. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER INSTALLED FRONT WHEEL DRIVE ROTORS INSTEAD OF ALL WHEEL DRIVE ROTORS. THE ROTORS INSTALLED WERE SMALLER IN DIAMETER THAN THE PROPER ROTORS. *JB
CONSUMER CALLED COMPLAINING ABOUT GEAR ARM INDICATOR PROBLEM. WHEN CHANGING GEAR IT WOULD NOT ALWAYS INDICATE IN WHICH GEAR IT WAS ON. MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED AT THE TIME OF THIS CALL. DEALER WAS CONTACTED, AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD GET BACK TO HER.*AK
SPEEDOMETER NUMBERS ARE DIFFICULT TO SEE DURING DAY LIGHT. DEALER INFORMED CONSUMER THAT THEY HAD SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, BUT THERE WAS NO REMEDY FOR THIS PROBLEM. *AK
