Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade. At the time of purchase and registration, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The mileage was 172,400; however, the contact researched the Carfax Report the following day and discovered that the mileage was 243,000 and was updated 10 days before the date of purchase. The vehicle was a dealer sale. The contact stated that the dealer was made aware of the issue; however, the dealer stated that the manager was out of the country and would reach out to the contact when he returned. The contact had not received a call back. The contact stated that due to the mileage discrepancy, the dealer refused to service the vehicle for several unknown issues.
The contact owns a 2015 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that on several occasions when the vehicle was started, the radio head unit flickered and did not function properly. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the internal fold inside of the head unit needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 67,999.

THIS IS FOR SAFETY RECALL IN oct 2019- regarding the brakes- it has ALREADY BEEN MADE AWARE TO DOT. This is in regards to getting a refund for my almost 4k out of pocket expense. The brakes went out completely in sept 2019 ( in 5-7 mph I could not stop in traffic even with them all the way pushed to the floor. and caused a front end collision ad the brakes been working normally this would have never happened. I was wondering what i needed to do ( or if i can ) to get reimbursed for the damages that i incurred on fixing my vehicle. ( around 4,000). Or if i need to notify Cadillac of this issue. Also the vehicle went in for repairs after the recall was issued ( we were never told or advised by the dealer that there was a recall open) and have no idea why the dealer would not even tell us, or advise us of such.

VEHICLE HAD AN OPEN FLAME IN REAR HATCH LOCKING MECHANISM. I HAVE A VIDEO TOO.
THIS IS AN EXHAUST FUME RELATED COMPLAINT THAT IS ALSO RELATED TO AN ELECTRICAL COMPONENT FAILURE OF THE REAR HATCH LOCKING MECHANISM. WHEN THE REAR HATCH LOCKING MECHANISM IS NOT FULLY ENGAGED THE LIFTGATE IS NOT COMPLETELY CLOSED ALLOWING GAS FUMES TO ENTER THE VEHICLE AND IT HAS A REALLY BAD EXHAUST FUMES SMELL..... THE GAS IS ENTERING THE VEHICLE CO CARBON MONOXIDE HYDROCARBONS AND METHANE GAS CH4
I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER OCTOBER 2018 STATING THE VEHICLE MAY EXPERIENCE A TEMPORARY LOSS OF ELECTRIC POWER STEERING. I HAD WORK DONE ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2018 AT CASTLE BUICK FOR THAT PROBLEM. I SHOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR THE COST OF REPAIR THAT WAS COVERED BY MY OWN EXTENDED WARRANTY. IT COST ME $1,037.18 PLUS $170.00 DEDUCTIBLE, WHICH TOTALS $1,207.18. I THEN RECEIVED A LETTER DATED NOVEMBER 12, 2018 FROM CADILLAC CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE STATING THAT THE REPAIR THAT WAS PERFORMED AT GM WAS NOT THE REPAIR COVERED BY THE RECALL. THE PROBLEM WAS FOR THE STEERING. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS SNAPPING BACK WHEN I TRIED TO TURN WHICH WAS CAUSING MY WRIST TO BECOME SORE. IT WAS A STEERING PROBLEM IN THE BEGINNING, AND I HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE AUTOMOBILE. GM PUT A WHOLE NEW MOTOR ASSEMBLY IN THE CAR INSTEAD OF RECTIFYING THE PROBLEM OF THE SOFTWARE.
THE CUE SYSTEM GETS STUCK AN SOMETIMES IT CHANGES BUY ITSELF. IT WILL NOT LET YOU CHANGE THE IT WILL FREEZE FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME.
I HAVE EXPERIENCE SEVERAL TIMES WHEN I WENT BACK TO GET IN MY VEHICLE AN IT WOULDN'T START. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP NEXT WEEK. IU AM SO UPSET WITH GMC.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CADILLAC ESCALADE ESV. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING ACTIVATED, THE HEAT INDEPENDENTLY TURNED ALL THE WAY UP IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. THE HEAT CAUSED ONE OF THE OCCUPANTS TO PASS OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE AND THAT THE COMPUTER HAD TO BE REPROGRAMMED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,000.
