The vehicle taken to the local dealer who replaced the tire; however, while driving over a pothole, the replacement tire experienced a sidewall failure. The contact stated that the same tire sidewall had failed on three separate occasions. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The cause of the failure were not determined.
