THE HORN HAS TWO LEVELS OF NOISE, ONE OF THE LEVELS OF NOISE COMPLETELY WENT OUT. UPON LOOKING AT IT, WE FOUND THAT THE HORN WAS FILLED WITH WATER (THEREBY MUFFLING THE HORN NOISE). THE HORN SHOULD BE A SEALED COMPONENT ON THE CAR AND SHOULD NOT ALLOW LEAKAGE. THIS CARE HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN IN ANY HIGH WATER. THUS, THIS WATER COULD ONLY HAVE BEEN ACCUMULATED BY RAIN.*AK

VEHICLE ACCELERATED SUDDENLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY, RESULTING IN A COLLISION AND MINOR INJURIES.*AK
THE RETRACTOR FOR THE SEAT BELT IS INOPERATIVE, DEALER STATES THE PART IS ON BACK ORDER, ON ONE OCCASION CONSUMER HAD TO SLAM ON BRAKES, THE RETRACTOR FAILED CAUSING CONSUMER TO HIT HER HEAD AND HAD TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, DEALER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO REPLACE THIS PART FOR 14 MONTHS. *SLC

WHILE IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC VEHICLE WILL HESITATE. ONCE ON A RAMP LEADING TO A VERY BUSY FREEWAY, VEHCILE DIED AND WOULD NOT START.*AK
THE VEHICLE HAS EXPERIENCED CONTINUED PROBLEMS WITH THE FRONT END SUSPENSION PULLING TO THE RIGHT, THIS HAS CAUSED EXCESSIVE WEAR OF THE TIRES (NO MAKE/MODEL OF TIRES PROVIDED), DEALERSHIP HAS TRIED TO REMEDY THE SUSPENSION PROBLEMS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND CHANGED TIRES, HOWEVER THEY CAN NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, WHICH COULD BE THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM OR THE TIRES. *MJS

CONSUMER HAD VEHICLE INSIDE OF GARAGE AND SMELLED SMOKE COMING FROM GARAGE AREA. WHEN HE WALKED INSIDE THERE WAS SMOKE COMING FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT. FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED OUT.*AK
AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 30-40 MPH FRONT END SHAKES. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER WHO ROTATED TIRES. FRONT TIRES WERE CUPPED. *AK THE DEALER WAS UNWILLING TO FIX THE VEHICLE. *YH
CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO HAVE TIRES ROTATED. WHEN VEHICLE WAS UP ON LIFT, CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THAT REAR AXLE WAS LEAKING AN OIL SUBSTANCE. DEALERSHIP REPLACED SEALS TO CORRECT THIS DEFECT. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/ATTACHMENTS.*AK
THIS CAR HAS HAD FRONT END SHAKES AT 30-45 MPH FROM ABOUT 3000 MILES, DEALERS/RELIABLE CHEV/MO, SAYS NOTHING WRONG, DID NOT TEST DRIVE!NOW CAR REALLY SHAKES BAD AND FRONT TIRES ARE ALL LUMPY AND CUPPED, WENT TO LOCAL CHEVY DEALER AND HE REFUSED TO EVEN COME OUT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM, LET ALONE FIX IT,ORIGINAL DEALER IS 150 MILES AWAY, AND JUS TOLD US IF WE DON'T LIKE THE CAR, TRADE IT IN!!I WOULD LIKE TO FINALLY ENJOY THIS CAR AFTER A YEAR OR HAVE IT REPLACED! I EVEN PAID FOR EXTENDED COVERAGE FROM THE DEALER AND CHEVY! BUT NO ONE WILL FIX IT! I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT 150 MILES..WHAT IF THE TIRES EXPLODE, FALL OFF, OR PART OF THE STEERING GIVES WAY? ALSO THE CONVE TOP HAS HAD A SCREW STICKING UP FROM THE INSIDE ALL ALONG, AND I WAS TOLD OH WELL.?!*AK
REAR SEAT BELT CLASP FALLS DOWN UNDER SEAT PREVENTING OCCUPANT FROM ENGAGING SEAT BELT.*AK
WHEN TAKING THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION OUT OF THIRD GEAR THE COMPUTER CANNOT FIND THE IDLE SPEED , SO THE ENGINE FLUCTUATES RPMS ANYWHERE FROM 850 RPM TO STALLING. IT DOES THIS REPEATEDLY. THIS WAS DISCOVERED WHEN TURNING A CORNER, TAKING IT OUT OF THIRD AND LOSING ALL POWER AFTER THE ENGINE STALLED. THE DEALERSHIP CANNOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND HAS ADVISED THE MANUFACTURER.
WHEN THE ABS BRAKES ARE APPLIED WITH FORCE AND THE VEHICLE IS NOT ON A FLAT SURFACE, ESPECIALLY IF THE WEIGHT SHIFTS FORWARD, THE REAR BRAKES BEGIN TO VIBRATE UNCONTROLLABLY CAUSING THE REAR END TO VIBRATE EXSTENCIBLY TO THE POINT THAT THE VEHICLES SPINS AROUND 180 DEGREES OR MORE..THIS OCCURS AT SPEEDS OF 40 MPH OR MORE.
CLUTCH SEEMS TO SLIP QUICKER THAN NORMAL. ONLY ABOUT 6500 MILES ON THE VEHICLE AND THE CLUTCH BEGINS TO SLIP. I HAVE GOTTEN THE NEW SLAVE CYLINDER, BUT IT STILL HAPPENDS. ONLY HAPPENDS WHEN THE CLUTCH GETS HOT ON MY VEHICLE. *AK
THE DESIGN OF THE INTEGRATED HEADRESTS ARE UNSAFE, THE TOP OF THIS HEADREST ONLY COMES TO THE BASE OF CONSUMER'S NECK, IF CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT THERE WOULD BE NO SUPPORT. *SLC

BRAKES: REAR BRAKES GROAN DURING LIGHT, MODERATE BRAKING. BRAKES: FRONT BRAKES MAKE SCRAPING NOISE UNDER ALL BRAKING CONDITIONS, BRAKE PADS NOT WORN OR DEFECTIVE. BRAKES: BRAKES MAKE REPEATED GROAN UNDER ALL BRAKING CONDITIONS, WARPED BRAKE ROTORS. EXHAUST: NOISE FROM UNDERNEATH CENTER OF CAR DURING ACCELERATION/DECELERATION, SHATTERED CATALYTIC CONVERTER.*AK
WHILE TRAVELING OVER 60 MPH VEHICLE WOULD START SHAKING HARD. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK

HEAD LIGHTS DIM ON BRAKING-INSIDE DASH AND RADIO LIGHTS FLICKER-SHIFTS INTO 1ST GEAR HARSH-VOLTAGE DROPS IN THE RED CAUSING CAR TO ALMOST STALL-WHEN TURNING ON AIR CONDITIONER THERE IS A LOAD WHINNING NOISE- CAR RUNS ERACTIC ON STARTUP-LOCKED UP IN REVERSE ONCE-CAR SHAKES WHILE DRIVING-CLICKING NOISE IN THE DASH-HAVE BEEN TO SHOP OVER AND OVER FOR THESE PROBLEMS- FIRST IT WAS NOTHING,THEN THE SERP.,BELT,THEN THE ALTERNATOR,NOW IT IS MY RADIO CAUSING THESE PROBLEMS (SO I AM TOLD) CAR STILL NOT FIXED. AS FOR THE EXHAUST ONE OF THE PIPES WAS POPPING AND CRACKING, THIS WAS REPLACED.*AK (TIRESIZE: 235-55R16)
MY CAR CHOKED OUT AND I PULLED IT BESIDE THE HIGHWAY WHEN I CAME BACK TO IT ABOUT AN HOUR LATER IT HAD BEEN BURNED.I CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO AN INVESTIGATION ON MY CAR.WITHIN A WEEK THEY CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO.MY QUESTION IS HOW CAN THEY TELL ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING MACHANICALLY WRONG IF THEY DIDN`T GO LOOK AT MY CAR. BESIDE`S MY CAR WOULDN`T HAVE BEEN SITTING BESIDE THE HIGHWAY HAD THERE NOT BEEN SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT.SO MY QUESTION IS WHAT SHOULD I DO,AND WHO SHOULD I TALK TO?*AK
WHEN APPLYING BRAKES VEHICLE WILL VIBRATE REAL HARD. MECHANIC STATED THAT FRONT ROTORS WERE DEFECTIVE. CONSUMER HAS REPLACED ROTORS SEVERAL TIMES.*AK
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY BUT THE PROBLEM RETURNED TWO MONTHS LATER. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. *NLM
WHILE DRIVING IN WARM WEATHER WITH THE A/C ON, THE VEHICLE STALLED WHEN IT CAME TO A STOP OR WHEN IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. THE VEHICLE COULD BE RESTARTED BUT WOULD CONTINUE TO STALL UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF TRAFFIC. THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST COULD NOT DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. THE STALLING OCCURRED MANY TIMES SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. *AK *NLM
