TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET COLORADO. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED AND THE VEHICLE LOST POWER. THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR REMAINED LIT. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO JOE BASIL CHEVROLET (5111 TRANSIT RD, DEPEW, NY 14043, (716) 650-4791) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CHASSIS ELECTRONIC MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 116,000.

CONSUMER STATES THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE KEYLESS REMOTE LOCK AND UNLOCK FOR THE VEHICLE. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED SHE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP SIX TIMES FOR THE KEYLESS REMOTE PROBLEM. IT WAS DETERMINED THE CONTROL MODULE WAS BAD AND THE PART NEEDED TO BE ORDERED. HOWEVER, SEVERAL WEEKS LATER, THE REMOTE BEGAN ACTING SPORADICALLY AGAIN. THE PROBLEM MOSTLY HAPPENED WHEN LOCKING THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THERE WAS A KNOCKING/PING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. *JB
