I understand this vehicle is over 10 years old. I bought this vehicle pre-owned and have only had it for less than 6 months. This vehicle has 71,000 miles on it and isn't very good condition cosmetically besides the gloss paint. As a widow, I needed a dependable vehicle for work purposes. Since I've had this vehicle I've had to replace the thermostat, I've had continued overheating issues, issues with the catalytic converters, the hoses and connectors becoming brittle and needing replacement throughout the engine. Suddenly the traction control light came on the dash after they check engine light. With the code reader showed problems with the mass air flow and the mass air flow electric wiring. Suddenly after a oil change, the vehicle is running terribly and is undrivable. The ECM or computer that powers the entire vehicle has lost all power was no explanation. All the pieces and relays are in good working order. After research on this issue of the ECM I've learned that even replacement of the computer for this vehicle causes the vehicle not even to start. I contacted customer service for GM and Chevrolet and they referred me to you because it is over 10 years old. No one was able to help me. My roommate has the exact same vehicle besides I have a turbo and she does not same year, and she is also having the exact same problems including her ECM is not getting any power. I'm sure of that there's nothing anyone can do financially but Chevrolet and GM really dropped the ball on this vehicle as far as dependability and safety. I counted on this vehicle to be dependable and and live up to the standards of gmn Chevrolet and it has not. Besides this website I don't know who could called Chevrolet and GM accountable for this disaster of a car. I would appreciate any suggestions to try to get this vehicle safe and in working order if it is even possible. I have had my car in the shop MULTIPLE TIMES causing me to lose work. On july24 my car radio shutoff,and on dashboard light off , inside lamp lights flickered. A message of service stabilitrak, service steering. Car parked within 3 miles. I called AAA and towed to koons whitemarsh immediately. I told advisor what happened. After she called next day to say battery was bad.I remembered that there was a recall on negative battery cable. My battery was checked on 7-11-23 and was fine. My battery was installed 10-21-20. No problems with electrical. I requested to have cable replaced because I have been in the shop to much missing work. Then I foundThere is a service bulletin recall for exactly what was happening with my car. I was told my Vin didn't match and that was it!! Despite being my exact problem. I am female so I think I was just ignored. I got a battery that I may not have needed and requested cable because I didn't want to loose steering. By stopping so soon code may not have appeared at dealer. Igot a $70help with bill of $626 for a repair. should be included in this recall despite vin . I have exactly what is recalled.. sometimes cars are added to recalls after initial recall.

The contact stated that she attempted to start the vehicle another time and the vehicle started. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the A/C unit inadvertently turned on, but there was no air coming through the vents. The contact stated that she was able to drive to work however, after getting off work, she attempted to start the vehicle and the vehicle failed to start. The contact attempted a second time and the vehicle started and performed as designed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The contact was informed that the vehicle would be kept overnight. The contact was then informed by the dealer that the vehicle had been diagnosed and that the communication and power issue were not receiving any voltage. The contact was then informed that a message was displayed on the instrument panel “Theft Deterrent “and the hazard lights intermittently flashed, and the HBC warning light illuminated. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that upon research, she referenced TSB: SB 10057574-8899: indicating the negative battery and the battery fuse block. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not covered. The failure mileage was approximately 107,392.
I bought a new catalytic converter on the vehicle and had old parts replaced. There aren’t any leaks. I received an engine diagnostic test and still comes back with P0240 code.
UNKNOWN- 2015 CHEVY CRUZE - THE REGULATORS IN THE AUTOMATIC WINDOWS KEEP BREAKING- I HAVE REPLACED REGULATORS 3 TIMES- AND THE TWO FRONT WINDOWS WILL NOT GO UP OR DOWN NOW-I JUST FIXED THE PASSENGERS SIDE WINDOW ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND ITS BROKEN AGAIN.- THE CLOCK DOES NOT KEEP TIME CORRECTLY- HAD A COOLANT LEAK TWICE - AND THE TIRES SEEM TO LOSE TREAD PRETTY QUICKLY- REPLACED TIRES A FEW YEARS AGO- DOES NOT HAVE VERY GOOD TRACTION CONTROL- VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE WITH GLARES NO MATTER IF ITS FRESHLY CLEANED-NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR- I USUALLY LOVE MY CHEVY'S BUT THIS CAR IS A LEMON- AS SOON AS I PAID IT OFF ALL THIS STARTED HAPPENING- AND I CAN'T AFFORD ANOTHER CAR AT THIS POINT.
THE CHECK STABILITRAK LIGHT AND ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON IT LOSES ENGINE POWER WONT GO OVER 3MPH . IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AT 55MPH ON A BUSY HWY. ALSO MY RADIO SCREEN THAT CONTROLS THE BACKUP CAMERA AND OTHER SETTINGS HAS WENT BLACK. I HAD A MECHANIC RUN DIAGNOSTICS ON IT AND 33 DIFFERENT CODES POPPED UP SO THEY TOLD ME MORE THAN LIKELY IT'S AN ECM ISSUE AND IT HAS TO BE REPAIRED AT THE DEALERSHIP

STABILI TRACK LIGHT, ABS LIGHT BLINK ON AND OFF. WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASH FLASH. BLINKERS TURN OFF INTERMITTENTLY. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL!!!!! I'M NOT THE ONLY HAVING ISSUES LIKE THIS. WE DON'T SPEND 1000'S OF DOLLARS FOR GARBAGE. I CAN'T AFFORD TO KEEP FIXING THIS THING!
ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AFTER BEING PARKED ,NO CODES SHOW UP WHEN DIAGNOSED, HEARD THERE WAS RECALL FOR THAT BUT IT DOESN'T SHOW FOR MY CAR
WHEN TURNING ON THE CAR A NUMBER OF "IDIOT" LIGHTS WOULD TURN ON. FOR EXAMPLE, EMERGENCY BRAKE WHEN THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS NOT ON. ADDITIONALLY, THE DIGITAL SCREEN GAVE ME SERVICE MESSAGES SUCH AS "SERVICE PARKING ASSIST", "SERVICE THEFT DETERRENT" AND OTHERS. WHILE DRIVING, THE RADIO SUDDENLY SHUT OFF AND ALL MY DASHLIGHTS TURNED OFF THEN CAME BACK ON FOR A MOMENT THEN TURNED OFF AGAIN. MY RPM, MPH, GAS GAUGE, AND TEMPERATURE GAUGES WERE ALSO NOT WORKING. THE ENTIRE DIGITAL SCREEN ON THE DASHBOARD DID NOT GIVE SPEED, TIRE PRESSURE, OIL PRESSURE, OR ANY OTHER READINGS.ALL OF THESE THINGS OCCURRED WHILE PARKED AND DRIVING. I WAS DRIVING ON BOTH CITY STREETS AND A HIGHWAY.
STARTED CAR AND IT RANDOMLY THE SERVICE STABILITY TRAK LIGHT CAME ON. STARTED TO DRIVE HOME AND CAR STARTED SPUTTERING AND SHAKING AS IF IT WANTED TO CUT OFF. GOT HOME TURNED THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON THE LIGHT WENT OFF BUT CAR STILL SPUTTERS AND SHAKES AND HESITATES TO ACCELERATE.
I AM LEASING THIS CAR USED. THERE IS PROOF FROM PREVIOUS OWNER HIS TROUBLE WITH DRIVER WINDOW STOPS WORKING DUE TO MOTOR INSIDE WINDOW OR UNLINKING. HE HAS A RECEIPT OF REPLACING THIS AND I HAVE REPLACED 3 MORE TIMES THEY DEALER PARTS AND EVERYTHING AND IT HAS STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. THE LAST ONE ALMOST STARTED ON FIRE INSIDE MY DOOR. IT HAPPENS WHENEVER I USE THE WINDOW WHETHER BEING PARKED OR DRIVING.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON 11/05 AND THAT AFTERNOON THE CAR STARTED TO IDLE HARD AND SPUTTER WHEN STOPPED. THE ERROR CODES READ FOR A MAF SENSOR; HAD THAT AND THE ENGINE AIR FILTER REPLACED, AND THE CAR STILL SPUTTERED BUT THE LIGHT WENT OUT. I PURCJASED THE CAR IN 2015, IT HAD 2300 MILES AT THE TIME, AND WOULD MAKE NOTICEABLE ENGINE NOISE SOON AFTER. I TOOK IT BACK BUT THE DEALERSHIP MECHANICS SAID THAT IT WAS A SENSOR AND NOT TO WORRY UNTIL THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON; THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT THE THE MAF. ON 11/12/2019, THE LIGHT IS ON AGAIN. ALSO, THE STABILLITRAK LIGHT COMES ON/OFF.
THE VEHICLE WAS WORKING FINE, I DROVE IT THE NIGHT PRIOR BACK HOME AND PARKED IT IN MY GARAGE LIKE I NORMALLY DO. WHEN I WENT TO LEAVE THE NEXT MORNING, THE CAR WOULD NOT START. THE ENGINE WOULDN'T EVEN TURN OVER BUT THE RADIO AND WHAT NOT WOULD TURN ON. WE TRIED JUMPING THE CAR, CHARGING THE BATTERY, CHANGING THE BATTERY OUT AND NOTHING WORKED. WE GOT IT TOWED TO THE AUTO SHOP AND THEY SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT FIX THE VEHICLE AS IT'S ELECTRICAL. WE LIVE IN THE DESERT AND THE CLOSEST DEALER IS OVER AN HOUR AWAY IN PALM SPRINGS SO NOW WE HAVE TO GET THE VEHICLE TOWED THERE, AT OUR EXPENSE, TO TRY AND GET IT LOOKED AT
I BOUGHT THE CAR USED. AFTER A FEW DAYS I HEARD A TICKING UNDER THE HOOD & ALSO WHEN I GOT TO 60 MPH I COULD FEEL VIBRATION IN THE GAS PEDAL & SOUNDED LIKE A BUMBLE BEE UNDER THE HOOD. I TOOK IT TO DEALERSHIP I BOUGHT IT FROM. THEY SAID THAT WITH THE LT1 IT OFFS COMMON NOISE FOR THE PURGE SOLENOID TO MAKE THE TICKING NOISE THAT IT WAS NORMAL. THE VIBRATION THEY SAID WAS A PEBBLE GOT UNDER MOTOR MOUNT & WAS CAUSING VIBRATION. HE GOT THE PEBBLE OUT & READJUSTED. A WEEK LATER WAS DOING IT AGAIN & THE TICKING NOISE WAS ALOT WORSE. HE FINALLY CHANGED THE PURGE SOLENOID & IT STILL TICKED BUT NOT NEARLY AS BAD. BUT HE SAID HE COULDN'T HEAR THE NOISE AT 60 MPH & ONLY A LITTLE OF THE VIBRATION IN PEDAL. I'M REALLY REGRETTING BUYING THIS CAR. IF I KNEW IT WOULD HAVE ALL THESE ISSUES I COULD OF KEPT DRIVING MY OLDER CAR WITH NO CAR PAYMENT. HE SAID THAT CHEVROLET KNEW ABOUT THE PURGE SOLENOID ISSUE BUT HAVEN'T FIXED IT. CAR HAD 87K MILES WHEN I BOUGHT IT & NOW HAS 90K. AFTER WE BOUGHT 1 OF THE SALESMEN REFERRED TO IT AS A THROW AWAY CAR. YEAH I JUST THREW AWAY 11K GETTING IT

I WENT TO THE LEADER ON THURSDAY BECAUSE I GOT SCARED. DENNY TOLD I CANNOT DRIVE MY CAR LIKE THAT FOR MY SAFETY. I LEFT MY CAR IN THE LEADERSHIP. IT'S BEING 4 DAYS WITHOUT ANSWER. MY CAR HAVE FULL GUARANTEED AND THEY OFFERED ME A COURTESY CAR. SO THERE ME WITHOUT ANSWERS AND NOT CAR. I WENT TO THE LEADER AND DENNY ANSWER IT THAT THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN THE CAR GOING TO BE FIX, BUT THAT IF I WANT I CAN TAKE THE CAR WITH ME. I JUST CAN BELIEVE NO ONE CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SAFETY. HE TOLD ME I COULDN'T DRIVE MY CAR LIKE THAT NOW HE DOESN'T CARE IF I GET INTO AN ACCIDENT WITH A CAR THAT SHOULDN'T BE DRIVE. THEY JUST WANT ME TO APPLY FOR A NEW CAR. WHEN I DON'T NEED A NEW CAR. I FEEL MY CAR IS STILL NEW. I ONLY HAVE IT FOR 2 YEARS AND 10 MONTHS LESS THAN 75K MILES. IT HAPPENS WHEN I AM DRIVING, IT STARTED OFF ONCE OR TWICE A TRIP, NOW IT IS CONSTANTLY HAPPENING SO MUCH SO I CANNOT EVEN LISTEN TO MUSIC. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN MORE OFTEN WHEN I AM IN STOP/GO TRAFFIC.
