THE CAR BECAME VERY HARD TO STEER. TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL WAS DIFFICULT TO TURN. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIME SINCE AUGUST. THIS HAS ALMOST CAUSE TWO ACCIDENTS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED AND IT BECAME HARD TO TURN. THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AS THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVERS SEAT BECAME LOWER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO ADJUST THE FRONT OR BACK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR BOTH FAILURES WHERE THE FAILURES WERE UNABLE TO BE REPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 95,000. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AS THE FAILED POWER STEERING MESSAGE APPEARED ON THE STEREO DISPLAY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS A VOLUNTARY RECALL FOR THE FAILURE BUT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET APPROACHING THE CORNER PREPARING TO STOP LOST THE ABILITY TO STEER THE WHEEL, COULD NOT CONTINUE TO DRIVE HAD TO STOP THE CAR. ON SATURDAY MAY 17,2014 WHILE DOING 65 MILES ON THE HIGHWAY A CAR LIT UP ON THE LEFT CORNER OF THE DASH AND THE POWER STEERING WORDS APPEAR. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY IN FEAR. SEVERAL TIMES WHILE BACKING OUT OR PULLING OUT OF A SPACE THE STEERING WHEEL TIGHTENS. EVERY MONTH I'M CONSTANTLY CHANGING LIGHT BULBS AND THE FUSES FOR THE INTERIOR AND THE EXTERIOR OF THE CAR. *TR UPDATED 12/9/2014 *JS
SINCE 2012 I HAVE NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH MY MALIBU. POWER STEERING GOING OUT CAUSING THE WHOLE FRONT END TO BECOME UNSTABLE, CAUSING THE CAR TO PULL THE LEFT AND THE RIGHT. HARD TO KEEP IT CENTERED; CAUSING BUSTED BELTS IN TIRES, BAD BRAKES, TORN UP ROTORS. FUEL GAGE NOT WORKING PROPERLY, TRACTION CONTROL ON BREAK CENSOR GOING OFF AND ON. IGNITION SWITCH NOT WORKING PROPERLY, I HAVE RECEIVED 4 RECALL NOTICES SO FAR AND I KNOW THERE ARE MORE TO BE HAD. BUT NO DEALER SHIP SEEMS TO HAVE ANY PARTS TO FIX THIS CAR. THIS CAR IS A DEATH TRAP. I FEEL AS THOUGH EVERY TIME I STRAP MY SELF INTO MY CAR, I AM SETTING MYSELF UP TO BE HURT OR KILLED. I NEED TO GET THIS CAR FIXED. IF NOT I NEED SOMEONE TO GET ME NEW ONE. *TR
THE POWER STEERING WILL RANDOMLY GO OUT. MOST OFTEN IT HAPPENS AT LOW SPEEDS, EX. BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE, STARTING FROM A STOP SIGN ETC. IT HAS ALSO HAPPENED AT 20 MILES PER HOUR AROUND A CURVE IN THE ROAD WHICH VERY NEARLY ENDED IN A CRASH. TURNING THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN HAS RESOLVED THE ISSUE TEMPORARILY BUT I AM VERY CONCERNED THAT SOONER OR LATER THIS WILL END IN A CRASH. *TR
I GOT INTO MY CAR AND SAT DOWN AND SOMETHING UNDER THE DRIVER SIDE POWER SEAT BROKE. LOOKS LIKE A SUPPORT BAR WELD CRACKED. NOW THE SEAT IS TIPPED TO THE RIGHT. IF I RAISE OR LOWER THE SEAT, ONLY THE LEFT SIDE GOES UP AND DOWN. I'M NOT SURE IF THERE IS ENOUGH STRENGTH HOLDING THE REST OF THE SEAT TOGETHER. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A RECALL, SINCE I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I CAN FIND MANY COMPLAINTS ON LINE, SO MY CASE IS FAR FROM ISOLATED. *JS
WHILE DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RODE, STEERING WHEEL WILL LOCK UP CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO RESTART IGNITION- AS IF THE CAR IS RESETTING, IN ORDER FOR THE STEERING WHEEL TO TURN PROPERLY. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 1-2X/MONTH SINCE THE FIRST INCIDENT. I OFTEN DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY AND ITS HAPPENED WHILE OTHER CARS ARE DRIVING AROUND ME. THE STEERING WHEEL WILL NOT TURN OR IT TAKES A GOOD AMOUNT OF FORCE TO MAKE THE WHEEL TURN. ITS QUITE DANGEROUS AND VERY SCARY. I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THERE ARE NO WARRANTY'S OR RECALLS. CHECKED ONLINE AND DISCOVERED THAT OTHERS ARE HAVING A SIMILAR ISSUE. NOW I HAVE TO PAY MECHANIC TO FIX THE PART. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRACKET THAT HELD THE SEAT TO THE FRAME WAS FRACTURED AND CAUSED THE SEAT TO LEAN. THE CONTACT DID NOT TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER OR CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 151,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THE BRAKE LIGHTS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER:14V252000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 95,000....UPDATED 09-05-14 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE THE VEHICLE HAS ALSO HAD ISSUES WITH SWITCHING FROM PARK TO DRIVE, THE EXTERIOR AS WELL AS THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WOULD GO OUT DURING HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND AN ALARM WOULD SOUND, WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WOULD BE FILLED WITH GAS THE LOW FUEL ALARM WOULD SOUND, AND THE BLINKER LIGHTS WOULD BURN OUT PREMATURELY. SAFETY ISSUE WITH DRIVER'S SEAT. TILTS AND LEANS, BROKEN WELD. THIS IS A SAFETY WARRANTY AND SHOULD BE FIXED BY THE MANUFACTURER. *TR
FRONT DRIVER'S SEAT IS COMPLETELY LOOSE ON RIGHT SIDE. NOT SECURED DOWN, CANNOT ADJUST AND TILTS WHEN YOU MAKE A TURN OR GO AROUND A CURVE. HAVE TO DRIVE WITH SEAT ALL THE WAY DOWN WHICH IS HARD BECAUSE I AM A SHORT PERSON. WHEN I GET OUT OF THE CAR THE WHOLE SEAT ACTS LIKE IT IS JUST CONNECTED ON LEFT SIDE AND COMES UP ON RIGHT SIDE. I HAD SOMEONE LIFT THE SEAT WHILE I LOOKED UNDERNEATH. SOMETHING IS BROKE. BRACKET WILL NOT HOLD SEAT UP, JUST FALLS BACK DOWN AND SEAT WILL NOT STAY IN PLACE. ALSO A SAFETY ISSUE WITH SEAT MOVING AND NOT SECURE. IN READING OTHER COMPLAINTS, I FEEL THAT I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE OF A BROKEN FRAME WHICH IS A DEFINITE DEFECT. I AM NOT REAL HEAVY AND THAT SEAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BROKE. I HAVE HAD THIS CAR FOR OVER THREE YEARS AND THIS HAS BEEN MY PERSONAL VEHICLE. HOWEVER, I DO NOT FEEL IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE LIKE THIS, BUT HAVE NO CHOICE! OH! THESE ARE POWER SEATS. THANK YOU. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHEN MAKING A TURN, AN ABNORMAL NOISE EMITTED FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN FLEX COUPLING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 66,759.
I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 45 MILES WHEN THE CAR CUT OFF WITH NO WARNING,WHEN THE CAR CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP I WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE CAR .THIS HAS HAPPENED 7 DIFFERENT TIMES . MY SON THOUGHT I NEEDED A TUNE UP, I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER,I WAS TOLD IT WAS ELECTRICAL BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS CAUSING IT. *JS
STEERING ON VEHICLE BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN TO THE RIGHT, BUT A LOT OF PLAY IN THE WHEEL WHEN TURNING LEFT. SAME SITUATION HAPPENED OFF AND ON FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK. ON 7/21/12 WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, THE CONSOLE MADE A "DINGING" SOUND AND INDICATED THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE POWER STEERING AND SIMULTANEOUSLY IT LOST ALL EASE OF STEERING. IT HAD ABSOLUTELY NO POWER STEERING CAPABILITY. IT WAS VERY FRIGHTENING TO NOT HAVE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND HAVING TO STRUGGLE TO GET THE CAR TO A SAFE PLACE OUT OF THE ROAD THAT I WAS DRIVING ON. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE AND IT BECAME DIFFICULT TO SHIFT GEARS FROM DRIVE INTO REVERSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS LATER NOTIFIED OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V252000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL), 14V153000 (STEERING), AND 14V224000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW WIRING HARNESS. I WAS DRIVING AND I HEARD A DING,I LOOKED DOWN AT MY GAUGES AND THE STEERING LIGHT WAS ON. AFTER THAT I NOTICED THE POWER STEERING WAS NOT THERE. WHEN STARTING MY CAR, THERE WAS A WARNING CHIME AND THE MESSAGE "POWER STEERING" APPEARED ON MY DRIVER'S INFORMATION CENTER. WHEN I PUT MY VEHICLE IN GEAR THERE WAS A LOSS OF POWER STEERING CAPABILITIES AND IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO DRIVE WITHOUT THE POWER STEERING ENABLED. *JB

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC WHO RESET THE STEERING AND CORRECTED THE FAILURE FOR THREE WEEKS BEFORE RECURRING. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED WHO ADVISED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE VEHICLE FOR THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,356.
AS I DROVE MY WIFE WHO WAS IN LABOR TO THE HOSPITAL, THE POWER STEERING FAILED AS I BEGAN TO TURN INTO AN INTERSECTION. SIMULTANEOUS TO THIS, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. BARELY MADE THE TURN WITHOUT GOING INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. POWER STEERING STAYED OFF THE REST OF THE TRIP. ARRIVED AT HOSPITAL AND TURNED CAR OFF. POWER STEERING CAME BACK ON. POWER STEERING THEN FAILED ON WAY HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRES WERE RECENTLY INSTALLED ON THE VEHICLE AND WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, ATTEMPTING A RIGHT TURN, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO PULL IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE DID NOT EXPERIENCE A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE UNTIL THE TIRES WERE INSTALLED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TIRES WERE NOT REPLACED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE OF THE TIRES WAS 15,000. THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 165,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME STIFF AND DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT ALSO ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS WHERE THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE IF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET MALIBU MAXX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER WAS DRIVING 40 MPH WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED. THE POWER STEERING LIGHT AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE DRIVER STOPPED AND SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE. THE STEERING WHEEL FUNCTIONED AS NORMAL UPON RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,000.
FOR THE SECOND TIME MY DRIVERS SEAT HAS BROKEN ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE AT A WELD JOINT ON THE FRONT CROSS ROD. THE FIRST TIME IT FAILED AROUND 30,000 MILES AND THE SECOND TIME AROUND 71,000 MILES. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM, A SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS A RECALL. NOT ONLY IS CHEVROLET GETTING AWAY WITH THIS, BUT THE FIX IS COMPLETE SEAT FRAME REPLACEMENT THAT COST THE CONSUMER ABOUT $1000. CHEVY WINS AGAIN AS THEY GET TO SELL A DEFECTIVE PART AT A PROFIT. A GREAT DEAL FOR CHEVY UNTIL I BUY MY NEXT CAR. TIME TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND DO A RECALL. *TR
DRIVING APPROX 20 MILES PER HOUR WHEN TURNING LEFT AT AN INTERSECTION AND THE VEHICLE SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON, POWER STEERING MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON THE INFORMATION CONSOLE AND THE POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING. THE UNEXPECTED LOSS OF POWER STEERING CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO ENTER INTO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM WORKED AFTER TURNING THE CAR OFF AND THEN BACK ON. HOWEVER THE POWER STEERING LIGHT CONTINUED TO SHOW ON THE INFORMATION PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR AND THE STEERING COLUMN WAS REPLACED. NO FURTHER INFORMATION MESSAGE CONCERNING THE POWER STEERING HAS BEEN SEEN SINCE THE REPAIR. *TR
AS MY SON WAS DRIVING, THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER. AFTER TURNING OFF THE CAR AND RESTARTING, THE POWER STEERING CAME BACK ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE. *TR

THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED ACCORDING TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 14V153000 (STEERING), BUT THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT FELT THAT SINCE THE FAILURE OCCURRED IN MARCH OF 2014 THAT A REMEDY SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDED BEFORE JUNE OF 2014. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT HAS BEEN COMING ON FOR SOME TIME NOW, BUT 3 DIFFERENT TIMES THE POWER STEERING HAS FAILED WHEN LEAVING FROM BEING PARKED. TURNING OFF THE CAR AND RESTARTING FIXES IT BUT FOR HOW LONG WILL THAT CONTINUE TO WORK. *TR
I PURCHASED MY CAR IN 2005 AND THIS PROBLEM DIDN'T START UNTIL 2012. MY CAR WILL NOT START AT TIMES AND THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I HAD NO IDEA THAT IT WAS THE IGNITION SWITCH/ANTITHEFT SYSTEM KICKING IN. FOR SOME REASON MY CAR THOUGHT I WAS TRYING TO STEAL IT. I HAD THE FUEL SYSTEM LOOKED INTO AND CHANGED A COUPLE OF PARTS THINKING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM, BUT OBVIOUSLY NOW I KNOW IT WASN'T. I HAVE HAD IT PLUGGED IN AND NO DIAGNOSIS WAS FOUND. I DID BRING IT TO A MAN THAT WORKS ON CHEVROLETS AND HE TOLD ME I PROBABLY NEED A NEW IGNITION SWITCH. SO FOR TWO YEARS NOW, I HAVE TO RESET MY IGNITION SWITCH/ANTI THEFT SYSTEM ON MANY OCCASIONS, WHICH TAKES 10 MINUTES WHILE YOUR SITTING WHERE EVER YOU MAY BE. I DO STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL AS I SEE SOOO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS. UNFAIR THAT WE ALL HAVE TO FIX THIS ISSUE OURSELVES WHEN THE GM SHOULD BE FIXING THE ISSUE!!!! *TR

THE CAR THEN WENT FROM 60 TO ABOUT 30 MPH INSTANTLY, I PUSHED MY FOOT ENTIRELY TO THE FLOOR AN THE CAR STILL WOULDN'T SPEED UP. IT HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES AT LEAST 40 IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. NO DEALER CAN PIN POINT WHAT IT IS THAT'S WRONG. SHUT THE CAR OFF AND START IT UP AND ITS FINE AGAIN. OTHER THAN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STILL ON.

THE CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE, AS THE SEAT MOVES AROUND FREELY AND WOULD NOT BE AS SAFE IN AN ACCIDENT. AFTER A VERY SHORT INTERNET SEARCH, I FOUND THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM TO THIS MODEL AND YEAR. *TR

WHILE ADJUSTING THE SEAT UP, IT SUDDENLY DROPPED AND LEANED TO THE RIGHT. AFTER INSPECTING UNDER THE SEAT, I FOUND THAT THE WELDS ON THE FRONT FRAME BAR BROKE LOOSE ALSO TWISTING THE FRAME BAR. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN VERY DANGEROUS WHILE DRIVING AS THE SEAT REALLY LEANED OVER VIOLENTLY. ALSO, IT APEARS THE SEAT BELTS ARE ATTACHED TO THESE SUPPORT BARS. THIS ISSUE STILL HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED AS THE COST IS OVER $1000. SHOULD WE BE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, THE SEAT WILL VERY EASILY TEAR AWAY FROM THE REMAINING WELDS POSSIBLY EJECTING THE DRIVER ALONG WITH THE SEAT. THE SEAT SHIFTS AND TILTS DRASTICALLY WHEN TURNING VEHICLE. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE ONLINE, I FIND THAT SEVERAL MALIBU MAXX OWNERS FROM SEVERAL DIFFERENT YEARS ARE HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. THIS SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL ISSUE AS THE SEAT WILL COME LOOSE ALONG WITH THE SEAT BELTS SHOULD VEHICLE BE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. *TR
THE DRIVERS SEAT RIGHT SIDE DROPPED SUDDENLY. MY INSPECTION REVEALED A WELD TO A STRUCTURAL MEMBER FAILED. THE STRUCTURAL MEMBER ACTUALLY FAILED IN THE WELD HEAT AFFECTED ZONE. THE WALL THICKNESS OF THE STRUCTURAL MEMBER WAS A TUBE WITH INADEQUATE WALL THICKNESS FOR THE DESIGN. I AM A CIVILIAN NUCLEAR ENGINEER FOR THE DOD (NAVY) AND CAN SEND A DIGITAL IMAGE OF THE FAILED PART. THE MECHANIC REPLACED NUMEROUS FUSES IN THE VEHICLE AS WELL AS RE-CALIBRATING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; HOWEVER, THAT DID NOT REMEDY THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT STATED THE TURN SIGNAL MALFUNCTIONED AS WELL. IN MARCH MY STARTER WENT OUT IN MY CAR. AFTER REPLACING IT I HAD NO PROBLEMS FOR ABOUT A WEEK. THEN I FOUND OUT THAT MY IGNITION SWITCH HAD GONE OUT AS WELL.
