The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked unattended in the rain, the rear windshield had exploded. The vehicle was taken to an auto glass repair center, where the windshield was replaced; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the auto glass repair center for the replacement of the rear windshield. There was no further information provided. The local dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact stated that the front driver's side window became stuck while attempting to roll up or down. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, WHEN SHE NOTICED THE BUG GUARD OF THE SUNROOF WAS DISCONNECTED. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED SHE WAS ABLE TO PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND NOTICED THE SUNROOF HOUSING FRONT DRAIN HOUSE HAD MOLD AND WAS DISCONNECTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN LOCAL DEALER DEACON JONES GM OF SMITHFIELD LOCATED AT 1115 N BRIGHTLEAF BLVD, SMITHFIELD, NC 27577, WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SUNROOF HOUSING FRONT DRAIN HOUSING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000.
