I've taken this SUV to the Chevy dealership 4 times now for the same issue. SUV will not start at times then starts, it will even turn off on the road without warning. New Battery and Chevy can not find out issues $500.00 later. The brake pedal becomes hard to push down, and it will not start: wait 10 mins or so and it will start. Even the remote start at times will not work. Chevy has had it for 30 days at a time and I'm being told to bring it back when it happens, how do I that!
My vehicle completely shuts off while driving. All of the components on the dash and even my steering wheel moves into the prestarted vehicle position. It has happened 3 times in the past week now. One particular instance, I was on the highway and thankfully it came back on immediately before completely stopping but shutting off while driving 65mph is so dangerous.
Vehicle first start sometimes when pushing the start stop button. Dash illuminates but then goes black as if no power. P129D code appears after being able to start.

The Trailor brake system, engine light, stabilitrak control system and antilock brake system is on due to the wiring of this vehicle.
While slowing down to make a left hand turn at an intersection, my vehicle suddenly lost power steering and the entire system completely shut down. There was no electronic function during that time. I had to put the vehicle in park, turn the key to the off position and then start it back up. It has happened multiple times, both at low speeds in drive and reverse. This would have caused a collision if there was oncoming traffic at the intersection at that time.
While driving the vehicle lost all power and after about 20 seconds power came back on. The repair was the battery cables which was apparently very common on the make and model of vehicle. It's unsafe and can cause an accident and apparently happens on the majority of vehicles same year and make.
Car has been at dealer 3 times for Wi-Fi issue. Mechanic took car home for longer drive to check. No found issues. Brought in for small noise that comes and goes. They Came back saying $10000 for cam shaft and lifters they are assuming.
Trailer Brake system Service Message Took it to the dealer service department and was told that a diagnostic would be needed to find problem $225, if the wiring harness is indeed defective it would be over $500 in parts and $600 in labor. A picture of the light coming on while driving was produced to the dealer service department. It first appear when driving on the freeway and we have never towed anything with this vehicle. THE STABILITY TRACK LIGHTS KEEPS COMING ON AND OFF. DEALER CAN'T SEEM TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. IT DOES NOT LEAVE A CODE IN ORDER TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. WHEN THE LIGHT COMES ON IT AFFECTS THE CRUISE CONTROL AND STEERING ASSIST. THIS OCCURS WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ARE ON A CITY STREET OR HIGHWAY.
