The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while the wipers were in operation, the wipers were seized without warning. The contact pulled over to the side of the road during the failure and waited for approximately 5 minutes before the wipers started to operate as intended. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure or diagnose the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The approximate failure mileage was 44,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 CHEVROLET TAHOE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS BLOWING OUT HOT AIR. THE CONTACT CALLED A LOCAL DEALER (SUNRISE CHEVROLET 105-20 GERARD PLACE QUEENS, NY 11375 877-588-5450) WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE COMPRESSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY SUNROOF EXPLODED. WHEN WE PULLED OVER TO LOOK WE FOUND NOTHING THAT HIT IT IN FACT THE GLASS WAS PUSHED UP AND NOT DOWN INTO THE CAR. WEATHER WAS ABOUT 60 'S, OVERCAST, LIGHT SPRINKLE RAIN. ONLY HAD TAHOE FOR 4 MONTHS PRIOR TO THIS HAPPENING. SINCE THE THE SUNROOF HAD TO BE REPLACED A 2ND TIME DUE TO THE RAILING BREAKING AND WAS UNABLE TO OPEN IT
