FRONT END CREAK WHEN ON ANY BUMPY ROAD SURFACE. DRIVERS FRONT SEAT CREAKS AT SEATBELT MOUNT ON BUMPS AS WELL
PROBLEM WITH 4X4 SHIFT INDICATOR NOT REGISTERING TRANSFER CASE POSITION. *AK
REAR SPOILER MOLDING (3RD BRAKE LIGHT) FLEW OF VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING DOWN STATE HIGHWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH. *NLM
THE BRAKES O MY 2003 EXT. TRAILBLAZER ARE MUSHY. WHEN STOPPED IN TRAFFIC AND CONSTANT PRESSURE IS HELD ON THE BRAKE PEDAL THE PEDAL CONTINUES TO GO TOWARD THE FLOOR. I WAS SHOWN ANOTHER EXT. TRAILBLAZER AT THE DEALERS THAT HAD BRAKES ACTING THE SAME WAY AND I WAS TOLD IT IS NORMAL. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL SUV'S AND NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS TYPE OF BRAKE PERFORMANCE BEFORE. IN CLOSE TRAFFIC, I HAVE PUT THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK DUE TO THE FEELING THAT I AM GOING TO RUN OUT OF PEDAL TRAVEL.
TRANSMISSION LOCKS UP, 4 WD LIGHTS MOVE ON ITS OWN, THIS HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES SINCE I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR, I REQUESTED THAT I DO NOT WANT THIS CAR BACK, BUT THEY INSIST THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM, NOW WITH MY CHILDREN 2 AND 16 YEARS IN THE CAR THE 4WD LIGHT WAS MALFUNCTIONING AND THE CAR LOCKED UP AND WE SKID DOWN THE STREET. I DONOT WANT THIS CAR BACK, I FEEL IT WILL KILL ONE OR ALL OF US WITH THIS LOCK UP OF TRANSMISSION AND THE CAR WON'T MOVE THANK GOD IT HAS NOT HAPPENED ON THE FREWAY I FEEL WE WOULD BE DEAD. THE CARS A LEMO0N AND I AM NOT WAITING FOR IT TO HARM MY FAMILLY.
THE CONSUMER COMPLAINED THAT HIS 2003 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER DID NOT COME EQUIPPED WITH A LIGHT INSIDE THE GLOVE BOX.*MR THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO EXPLAIN WHY THERE WAS NO WIRING HARNESS OR SOCKET IN THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER TOLD THE CONSUMER THEY WOULD CALL HIM BACK TO SEE WHAT COULD BE DONE, HOWEVER THE CONSUMER NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. *TS *JB
THE OUTSIDE BACK DOOR HANDLES DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE WE PURCHASED IT, A FEW TIMES, AND THEY TRIED TO CONVINCE ME THAT THE CHILD SAFETY LOCKS WERE ENGAGED. IF THE CHILD SAFETY LOCKS WERE ENGAGED, WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN THE DOORS FROM THE INSIDE. THE PROBLEM WE HAD THEN AND CONTINUE TO HAVE IS THAT THE OUTSIDE BACK DOOR HANDLES DO NOT WORK. I USED TO THINK OF IT AS A MERE NUISANCE UNTIL RECENTLY. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I STRAP YOUNG CHILDREN, IN THEIR CAR SEATS, INTO THE BACK SEATS OF THAT CAR. IN AN EMERGENCY, THEY MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO BE REACHED QUICKLY UNLESS MY WIFE OR I WERE THERE TO SAY THAT THE DOOR HANDLES DON'T ALWAYS WORK AND YOU MUST OPEN THE FRONT DOORS AND REACH INTO THE BACK TO THE INSIDE DOOR HANDLES TO OPEN THE DOORS. CHEVROLET HAS MAINTAINED THAT THEY WORK PROPERLY. IT'S KIND OF IRONIC, WE STRAP OUR KIDS IN SAFETY SEATS TO KEEP THEM SAFE, BUT IN AN EMERGENCY, WE MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GET TO THEM BECAUSE THE DOOR HANDLES DON'T WORK. THERE IS A SAFETY PROBLEM HERE AND CHEVROLET NEEDS TO FIX IT.
IT TAKES 3 TIMES LONGER FOR THE REAR HEATING SYSTEM TO BLOW "WARM" AIR THEN THE SYSTEM IN THE FRONT. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 3 TIMES AND STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THE LAST TIME I WAS TOLD THAT "ENGINEERING" WAS NOTIFIED OF THE SITUATION. *NM
CONSUMER WAS STOPPED BY A POLICE OFFICER, WHO INFORMED CONSUMER THAT THE TAIL LIGHTS WERE OUT. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT TAIL LIGHTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ALSO, VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED. *AK THE VEHICLE WOULD HESITATE AND SKIP UPON ACCELERATION, AT STOP SIGNS. TRAFFIC LIGHTS AND WHILE PARKING ON INCLINES. MULTIPLE COMPONENTS WERE REPLACED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM BUT THEY RECURRED. THE RADIO BECAME EXTREMELY HOT WHILE DRIVING ON LONG TRIPS. THE RADIO WAS REPLACED BUT THE PROBLEM CONTINUED. THE A/C UNIT FAILED INTERMITTENTLY BECAUSE OF A FAULTY A/C SWITCH. THE CONSUMER MENTIONED FUEL SYSTEM PROBLEMS. *NM
ENGINE FAN CLUTCH IS MAKING A LOUD ROARING NOISE (2003 GMC TRUCK). *NM *AK
RIGHT REAR TIRE POPPED / BLEW OUT UNEXPECTEDLY WHILE DRIVING APPROX. 40 MPH. VEHICLE IS A 17 DAY OLD 2003 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. I'M CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY AND WELL BEING OF MY 6 YEAR OLD CHILD AS WELL AS MYSELF WHILE DRIVING ON A "REPAIRED" TIRE, THAT MAY POSSIBLY HAVE SOME TYPE OF DEFECT WITH THE TIRE. THE DEALER/SERVICE DEPARTMENT SEEM MORE CONCERNED ABOUT CONVINCING ME THAT I MUST HAVE RAN OVER SOMETHING AND EVERYTHING WILL BE OK, BECAUSE THEY WILL REPAIR THE TIRE.
THE CAR CONSTANTLY WANDERS (ESPECIALLY AT HIGH SPEEDS) CAUSING ME TO CONTINUALLY CORRECT THE CAR TO STAY WITHIN THE LINES OF THE ROAD. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER 2XS AND THE PERFORMED 2 WHEEL ALIGNMENTS. THIS IS NOT THE ISSUE AS IT STARTED WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR LAST NOV 2002 AND CONTINUES EVERY DAY. THIS CAR IS VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO THIS WANDERING ISSUE. THE DEALER STATED THE STEERING IS EXTREMELY SENSITIVE. I AGAIN DISAGREE SINCE THE ONLY REASON I HAVE TO ADJUST IS DUE TO THE WANDERING WHICH HAPPENS ON ITS OWN.*AK
CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35-40MPH SLID OFF ROAD AND CRASHED INTO A DITCH HEAD-ON. BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. TS
FUEL OVER FLOWS FROM FILLER NECK ONTO SIDE OF VEHICLE AND GROUND EVERY TIME AUTOMATIC NOZZLE SHUTS OFF. DT
2003 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. CONSUMER STATED HER HUSBAND WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. CONSEQUENTLY, HE DIED FROM HIS INJURIES. *SS UPDATED 02/09/15. *JB
EVERY TIME YOU FILL UP FOR GAS. GAS OVERFLOWS AND SPILLS ON GROUND. *LA
I PURCHASED A 2003 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER LS ON SEPT.19,2002.WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK I NOTICED A HESITATION WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP.I CONTACTED THE DEALER, AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD CHECK IT AT MY FIRST OIL CHANGE 2500 MILES.THEY DID, AND TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TRUCK.THE COMPUTER SHOWED NO PROBLEMS.BEING A INTERMITTENT PROBLEM ,THE SERVICE REP SAID IT WOULD BE HARD TO FIND THE PROBLEM.SINCE THEN(DEC.2002),THE PROBLEM HAS INTERMITTENTLY OCCURRED SEVERAL MORE TIMES,STALLING AT RED LIGHT TWICE.A SAFETY HAZARD.THE TRUCK HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER SERVICE TWO MORE TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM WITH NO REPAIRS MADE.THE TRUCK NOW HAS 10,500 MILES AND STILL DOES NOT RUN PROPERLY.*AK
CONSUMER STATES WHILE DRIVING APPROX 50MPH AND PROGRESSING AROUND A TURN, VEHICLE BEGAN VEERING FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. CONSUMER THEN LOST CONTROL AND TRUCK WENT INTO A 360 DEGREE SPIN AND VEERED OFF THE ROAD. THE LEFT FRONT AND REAR TIRES CAME COMPLETELY OFF THE RIM. TS
COSUMER STATES THE VEHICLE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WOULD NOT ENGAGE WHILE DRIVING. VEHICLE TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR REPIRS AND THE PROBLEM WOULD REOCCUR. FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.

2003 CHEVROLET TRAIL BLAZER EXTENDED WITH PLASTIC PIECE THAT FLEW OF VEHICLE. CUSTOMER STATES THAT IT WAS REPLACED ONCE UNDER WARRANTY BUT THAT WAS A YEAR AND HALF AGO**CC THE CONSUMER STATED ON THE BACK OF THE WINDOW, ON TOP OF THE REAR HATCH THERE WAS A PIECE OF PLASTIC THAT HELD THE MIDDLE BRAKE LIGHT. THE PLASTIC PIECE FLEW OFF THE VEHICLE. *JB
THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE ON- STAR SYSTEM WAS DEFECTIVE AND INDICATED THAT THERE WAS NO CONNECTION TO A DISPATCHER. 8NLM
THE UPPER BALL JOINT FAILED, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. *JB
2003 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER: OPENING IN VEHICLE WHERE CRITTERS CAN GET IN TO STAY WARM/ PROBLEMS WITH AC/HEATING. *MR THE DESIGN OF THE HEATER BOX HAS AN OPENING WHERE SMALL CRITTERS (MICE/CHIPMUNKS)ARE ABLE TO GET IN AND STAY WARM. THE CONSUMER IS UNABLE TO USE THE HEAT OR A/C BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING IS CAUGHT. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER ONLY SUGGESTED THAT THE CONSUMER USE MOTH BALLS. *SCC *JB
OWNER HAS HAD SEVERAL OTHER FAILURES FROM BRAKES, TO DOOR MODULES, ETC. REAR WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM COMPLETELY FAILED. REMEDY WAS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE SYSTEM. *AK
WHILE TRAVELING THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED, AND VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SUDDEN DECELERATION. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHO COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF PROBLEM. *AK
CONSUMER STATES THERES IS A RATTLE NOISE, AND SOME VIBRATION IN STEERING WHEEL. CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK
WHEN APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL PEDAL GOES DOWN TO THE FLOOR, AND THE VEHICLE DOESN'T STOP IMMEDIATELY. DEALER CANNOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF PROBLEM. *AK
WHILE DRIVING IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED OPERATING DUE TO A MALFUNCTION IN THE WIPER MODULE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. *PH

BRAKE LIGHTS STOPPED OPERATING. DEALER DETERMINED THAT THE CIRCUIT BOARD MALFUNCTIONED AND REPLACED IT. *AK
WHEN ENTERING OR EXITING THE VEHICLE CONSUMER IS EXPERIENCING SPARKS BY SOME ELECTRICAL SURGE. *AK THE ELECTRICAL SURGE OCCURS WHEN METAL IS TOUCHED. CONSUMER NOTED THIS IS UNPLEASANT AND DANGEROUS WHEN AT A GAS STATION. *PH
FUEL FLOWS OUT THE FUEL TANK FILLER NECK WHEN FUEL TANK IS FILLED UP WITH FUEL. *AK
THE INSTRUMENT PANEL OVERHEATED AND IT BURNED THE OCCUPANTS. THE DEALER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED, BUT INDICATED THERE WAS NO REMEDY FOR THIS PROBLEM. *AK
A SPOILER ON THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE FELL OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, AND HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP SERVICED THE VEHICLE, BUT THE SPOILER WAS SHOWING SIGNS OF SEPARATION AGAIN. *AK
VEHICLE HAS POOR VISIBILITY IN THE REAR DUE TO A HIGH HEAD REST, SEAT BACK, AND THE RAILING BETWEEN THE WINDOWS. *AK *JB
WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH, THE CONSUMER FELT A STRANGE WOBBLE SENSATION IN THE FRONT LEFT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER STOPPED THE VEHICLE AND CHECKED THE TIRE ON THAT SIDE . SEVERAL MILES DOWN THE ROAD THE WHEELS ON THE VEHICLE LOCKED UP. THE VEHICLE SKIDDED ACROSS THREE LANES OF TRAFFIC BEFORE COMING TO A STOP. THE DEALER EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AND REPLACED THE WHEEL BEARING ON THE LEFT SIDE. FOUR WEEKS LATER THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE RIGHT SIDE WHEEL BEARINGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *JB
