HEAD LAMPS GO OFF AT NIGHT WHILE DRIVING WON'T COME BACK ON , STABILITRACK SHUTS OFF AN WARNING BELLS GO OFF FOR NO REASON. NOW OUT OF THE BLUE TRANSMISSION WILL NOT WORK. ONLY HAS 1ST AND 2ND, WHILE DRIVING ON ANY ROAD IN TOWN OR ON. HIGHWAY.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ACTIVATED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (KUNI CHEVROLET CADILLAC, 2449 FULTON AVE, SACRAMENTO, CA 95825, (916) 538-7217) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIPER MOTOR MALFUNCTIONED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,500.
WHEN DRIVING, THE CAR WILL STOP ACCELERATING, REDUCE SPEED EVEN WHEN I'M ON THE GAS. CAR CAN GO WEEKS WITHOUT PROBLEM, THEN IT HAPPENS. CHEVY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. IT HAS HAPPENED ON THE EXPRESSWAY DRIVING 65+ MPH AND IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD DRIVING 20 MPH. HAS BEEN IN SHOP NUMEROUS TIMESTOO DANGEROUS TO DRIVE..
2006 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER SPUN OUT ON SNOW WHILE MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING. IT WENT TOWARDS THE LEFT THEN IMMEDIATELY JERKED AROUND TO THE RIGHT AND CONTINUED TO GAIN SPEED AS IT LAUNCHED US OFF THE ROADWAY AND INTO A GROUP OF TREES. THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULDN'T BUDGE, THE STEERING WHEEL CONTINUED TO TURN IN CIRCLES NOT CONTROLLING THE TIRES AT ALL. THE BACKSEAT BROKE APART BEFORE IMPACT AND WAS THROWING MY TEENAGE SON AROUND IN THE BACK. THE FRONT SEATS BROKE LOOSE AS WELL AND SLAMMED BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER INTO THE DASH DURING IMPACT. THE SEATBELTS DID NOT ENGAGE TO LOCK INTO PLACE LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO AND DESPITE FULL FRONTAL DAMAGE AND A SUV DEEMED TOTALLED/DESTROYED BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY, NOT A SINGLE AIRBAG DEPLOYED OR ATTEMPTED TO DEPLOY. WE WERE ALL TRAPPED INSIDE THE VEHICLE DOWN AN EMBANKMENT AND ALL SUSTAINED INJURIES IN THE CRASH INCLUDING CUTS, BRUISES, WHIPLASH, AND MY DAUGHTER HAD A CONCUSSION. MY DAUGHTER HAD A VP SHUNT PLACED IN HER BRAIN LAST YEAR AND COULD'VE EASILY DIED IN THIS CRASH DUE TO HER INJURIES. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE AIRBAGS AND SEATBELTS NOT WORKING!!
HEADLIGHT AND DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS GO OUT COMPLETELY. IT CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME WHETER IT IS STATIONARY OR WHILE DRIVING. WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT HEADLIGHT LAMPS GO OUT COMPLETELY MAKING IT UNSAFE.
HEADLAMP DRIVER MODULE NOT WORKING RIGHT. HEADLIGHTS GO OUT WHILE DRIVING. JUST STARTED HAPPENING. CHEVY SAID WILL NOT PAY FOR AS IT IS PAST THE JULY 29 EXPIRATION. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT. HEADLIGHTS WENT COMPLETELY OUT. VERY SCARY. THEY SAID I WILL HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT FIXED AS IT IS NO LONGER THEIR PROBLEM. THIS HAPPENED TO ME A FEW YEARS AGO WITH THE FUEL GAUGE. IT SHOWS I HAVE NO GAS IN MY CAR WHEN I ACTUALLY HAVE FULL TANK. NEVER HAD IT FIXED BECAUSE IT COSTS TOO MUCH AND CHEVY SAID PAST EXPIRATION DATE.
MY PASSENGER SIDE LIGHT HAS NOT BEEN WORKING DUE TO THE WIRING MELTING AND NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THIS FIXED. THIS PROBLEM SHOULD NOT HAPPEN
THE GAS SENSOR IN MY GAS TANK IS FAULTY. CHEVROLET ADMITTED TO THIS BY OFFERING A PARTIAL COVERAGE ON THE REPAIR BUT NOW THAT PROGRAM HAS ENDED. I️ AM FORCED TO PAY FOR THIS REPAIR IN ITS ENTIRETY TO THE TUNE OF $1,000. CHEVY HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM AND EXPIRED THE PROGRAM TO HELP COVER THE COST TO REPLACE THEIR DEFECTIVE PART.?
MY 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER AUTOMATICALLY STARTS SPRAYING THE FRONT WINDOW AND THE WIPERS START AND WILL NOT STOP WHEN THE VEHICLE IS TURNED ON (THE WIPERS START UP AND IT STARTS SPRAYING WINDOW WASHING FLUID WHEN YOU TURN ON THE VEHICLE). THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!! THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, IN MOTION, ON A CITY STREET, ON THE HIGHWAY, TURNING, BRAKING AND ANY MOTION MOVING FORWARD OR BACKWARDS.
JULY 17, THE FRONT WINDOW WIPERS AND WINDOW WASHER OF MY 2006 TRAILBLAZER STARTED TURNING ON AUTOMATICALLY (WHEN I START THE 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER, THE WIPERS AND WASHER FLUID START AND WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THE TRAILBLAZER IS TURNED OFF). I CAN NOT DRIVE THE TRAILBLAZER WITH THE WIPER ALWAYS ON. THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND WINDOW FLUID WILL NOT STOP UNLESS I TURN OFF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO OPERATE !!! THIS OCCURS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, IN MOTION, ON THE STREET, TURNING, BRAKING , ETC.
LEFT TURN SIGNAL IS INTERMITTENT. WHILE SWITCHING LANES OR IN NEED TO SWITCH LANES THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL MIGHT TURN ON THEN COMPLETELY STOP OR WON'T TURN ON AT ALL. THE RIGHT TURN SIGNAL WORKS ALL THE TIME. THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL WILL WORK FINE, THEN OUT OF NO WHERE WILL STOP WORKING, THEN WILL START WORKING FINE. IT DOES THIS WHETHER THE CAR IS MOVING OR STATIONARY, ON THE HIGHWAY, STREETS, OR IN MY GARAGE. THE SAFETY CONCERN IS WHEN I NEED TO TURN IT SEEMS LIKE I'VE CHANGED MY MIND AND MIGHT CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS (BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT) WILL STOP WORKING WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. IF THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME HAS ELAPSED, THE LOW BEAMS WILL START WORKING AGAIN. ALL THE OTHER LIGHTS WORK AND THE DASH LIGHTS CONTINUE TO WORK. THIS TYPICALLY HAPPENS WHEN DRIVING BOTH ON CITY STREETS AND THE HIGHWAY.
THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD 4 IGNITION SWITCH FAILURES. SOMETIMES WHEN THE VEHICLE IS TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED. LOSING BRAKES AND POWER STEERING. THERE WAS AN IGNITION SWITCH RECALL ON 2006 CHEVY TRAILBLAZERS BUT THIS PERTICULAR ONE IS NOT INCLUDED. WHEN I READ ONLINE FORUMS THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE BATTLING THIS DANGEROUS PROBLEM. PLEASE HELP!
WIPERS AND WASHER FLUID WOULD START OPERATING ON THEIR OWN COULD NOT MAKE THEM STOP ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS WASHER FLUID ONLY WOULD SPRAY WITHOUT WIPERS WORKING THIS IMPAIRED MY VISIBILITY OF THE ROAD AND SURROUNDING TRAFFIC FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO GET OFF THE ROAD AND STOP THE VEHICLE ON BOTH OCCASIONS UNTIL IT STOPPED SPRAYING.
MY SON WAS IN AN ACCIDENT IN HIS 2006 TRAILBLAZER. HE WAS CROSSING A CITY STREET INTERSECTION WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE STRUCK HIS TRUCK ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AT AN ESTIMATED 40+MPH, THE TRUCK FLIPPED AND SLID ABOUT 15-20 FEET. NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED.
WHILE I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT MY HEAD LIGHTS WENT OFF AND WOULDN'T COME BACK ON UNTIL ABOUT 30 MINUTES. NEITHER THE BRIGHT OR DEAM LIGHTS WOULD WORK.
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS FILLED WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL, THE GAS GAUGE READS EMPTY AND THE FUEL WARNING LIGHT SOUNDS. ONCE THE FUEL LEVEL DROPS TO APPROXIMATELY 1/2 A TANK, THE GAUGE WILL RESUME NORMAL OPERATION. THIS HAPPENS NO MATTER WHETHER THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION OR IS STATIONARY.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE AND RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC AND THE CAR JUST SHUT OFF . I TRY TO RESTART AND IT START UP WHEN I TRY TO PROCEED IT SHUT OFF AND WOULD NOT START BACK UP AT ALL.
THERE IS A DEFECT WITH THE VEHICLES ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT THE CONSUMERS ARE CAUSING, THIS DEFECT CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO SHUT OFF AT RANDOM TIMES, AND WILL NOT START BACK UP FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I HAVE SEARCHED HUNDREDS OF FORUMS ON A FIX FOR THIS ONLY TO FIND HUNDREDS OF THOUSAND OF PEOPLE THAT ARE DEALING WITH THE SAME THING. CHEVY NEEDS TO STEP UP AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS! I AM SURE THERE HAVE BEEN LIVES LOST BECAUSE OF THE VEHICLES SHUTTING OFF ON BUSY HIGHWAYS, AND STREETS. WHEN THIS HAPPENS YOU ARE A SITTING DUCK, AND HAVE TO WAIT TILL THE VEHICLE DECIDES IT WANTS TO START BACK UP. THIS HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, OR CITY ROADS. AT RANDOM INTERVALS. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, AND I AM AMAZED THAT THERE HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL FOR THIS. I HAVE SEEN IN CHEVY ONLINE FORUMS THAT THIS AFFECTS SEVERAL YEARS OF THE TRAILBLAZERS, AND ENVOYS TOO.
I WAS IN A CRASH AND NEITHER FRONT AIRBAG DEPLOYED, MY INSURANCE ADJUSTER QUESTIONED IF THE AIR BAG SYSTEM EVEN WORKS. I HAVE COPY OF THE ESTIMATE TO REPAIR AS WELL. DUE TO THE FORCE OF IMPACT EVEN LOCAL REPAIR SHOP STATED THAT MY AIR BAGS SHOULD HAVE GONE OFF AS WELL. IS THERE A RECALL ON THIS MODEL FOR AIR BAGS NOT DEPLOYING? I WAS IN A SECOND WRECK ON 3/7/17 AND NEITHER AIR BAG DEPLOYED AT THAT TIME EITHER AND THERE WAS NO BUMPER SO AIR BAGS SHOULD HAVE DEFINITELY GONE OFF.
FLUID HAS GOTTEN INTO THE DRIVER DOOR AND CAUSED THE WINDOW MODULE TO QUIT WORKING. NONE OF THE CONTROLS ON THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WORKS. INCLUDING THE LOCKS, CAUSING A SAFETY CONCERN. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S MOVING OR STATIONARY THE CONTROLS DO NOT WORK.
VEHICLE WAS SERVICED FOR A FAULTY FUEL LEVEL FLOAT SENSOR, WHICH WAS REGISTERING THAT THERE WAS NO FUEL IN THE GAS TANK WHEN THE TANK WAS FULL. 7 DAYS LATER, WHILE DRIVING ON A BUSY FREEWAY, ALL OF THE GAUGES ON THE GAUGE CLUSTER STARTED SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL AND THE VEHICLE LOST COMPLETE POWER WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH. I HAD TO MEREGE ACROSS 4 LANES ON THE FREEWAY IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND NEARLY GOT RUN OVER. NO POWER TO THE ENGINE AT ALL - IT JUST DIED WHILE I WAS DRIVING. OF COURSE, ONSTAR AND THE CHEVROLET DEALER THAT PERFORMED ALL OF THE SERVICE ON THE VEHICLE WERE NO HELP. WHILE WAITING FOR ONSTAR, MY VEHICLE WAS TOWED OFF THE FREEWAY.

STEERING WHEEL POSITION SENSOR FAILURE OF THIS SENSOR CAN CAUSE ASSIST PROBLEMS... I BELONG TO A TRAILVOY CLUB FOR TRAILBLAZER'S AND HAVE READ THAT THERE IS SEVERAL MEMBERS THAT HAVE REPORTED PROBLEMS WITH THIS STEERING WHEEL POSITION SENSOR...A QUOTE FOR REPAIR IS AROUND $200 WITH THE SENSOR COST OF ANOTHER $100, TOTAL BILL OF $300 AND WHEN THE LIGHT STABILITY CONTROL COMES ON IT CAN CAUSE THE STEERING TO BE ERACTIC, WHICH NOT ONLY IN DANGERS YOUR LIFE BUT EVERYONE AND EVERY THING IN YOU PATH!

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS STOPPED WORKING. THE CONTACT HAD TO MANEUVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE HEADLIGHTS ILLUMINATED AGAIN AFTER APPROXIMATELY FOUR MINUTES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000.
THE LOW BEAM LIGHTS FLICKER AND THE GO OUT WHEN DRIVING. THIS IS CAUSED WHEN THE #46 HDM RELAY/MODULE OVERHEATS. OTHER TRAILBLAZERS HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR THE SAME ISSUE BUT NOT MINE. THE IS A MAJOR KNOWN SAFETY ISSUE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. IN ORDER TO RESTART, THE VEHICLE WOULD NEED TO BE SHIFTED INTO PARK OR NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WERE OTHER ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE THAT THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WAS ABLE TO CORRECT, BUT THE STALLING PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000.
WINDSHIELD WIPER WORKING INCORRECTLY. ON ANY OF THE LOW WIPES, IT MIGHT WIPE AND IT MIGHT NOT. ON HIGH IT WILL WORK SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES IT WORKS LIKE IT IS ON LOW (INTERMITTENT) AND SLOW, AND SOMETIMES IT ACTS LIKE IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK AT ALL. MY VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND NOW IT IS ON-GOING. APPOINTMENT THIS WED., 10/26/16 TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT AND FIXED. I'M AFRAID I WILL GET CAUGHT IN THE RAIN WHEN I REALLY NEED THEM AND I MIGHT HAVE WIPERS AND I MIGHT NOT.
LETTER FROM SENATOR NELSON ON BEHALF OF CONSTITUENT REGARDING GENERAL MOTOR SAFETY DEFECTS. *LD THE CONSUMER SUGGESTED THERE WAS A DEFECT WITH THE GM AIR BAGS IN 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER, IN WHICH THE DRIVER SUSTAINED A BRAIN INJURY AND HIS WIFE WAS INJURED, WHEN IT WAS IMPACTED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, RESULTING IN LEFT A-PILLAR CONTACT WHEN THE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY AND HIS SEAT BELT RESTRAINTS FAILED. THE CRASH WAS OF ENORMOUS SEVERITY, WITH A SPEED CHANGE OF 38 MPH WITH A LINE FORCE IN THE DIRECTION OF THE A PILLAR. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER EXT. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL AND SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WOULD HAVE TO BE JUMPSTARTED IN ORDER TO RESTART. THE FAILURE RECURRED, BUT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESTART. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE VEHICLE'S BATTERY, AUXILIARY WATER PUMP, STARTER, AND ALTERNATOR; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
FUEL GAUGE IS ERRATIC, MOVING AROUND FROM FULL TO NO FUEL BACK TO FULL. IT MAY STAY ON EMPTY FOR 5-10 MINUTES THEN MOVE TO FULL AND THEN DROP AGAIN. ALL IN ONE SHORT TRIP.
MY WIFE AND I BOUGHT A USED 2006 CHEVY TRAIL BLAZER. AFTER TWO MONTHS THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD TURN ON EVEN THOUGH THE SWITCH WAS OFF. THE WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID PUMP WOULD TURN ON AND SPRAY FLUID ON THE WINDSHIELD WHICH GREATLY REDUCED VISIBILITY. AFTER A WEEK I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY LOCAL GARAGE. THEY REPLACED THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH. THIS DIDN'T FIX THE ISSUE, SO THEY REPLACED THE WIPER ASSEMBLY. THIS FIXED THE ISSUE FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS AND NOW I AM GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE MY VEHICLE BACK AND HAVE THE ASSEMBLY REPLACED AGAIN. THIS HAPPENS AT RANDOM TRAVELING DOWN THE ROADWAY AT RANDOM SPEEDS. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED. NOT AFTER A REPORTED DEATH!
BOTH REAR PARKING TAIL LIGHTS DOES NOT TURN ON, WHILE BOTH FRONT PARKING LIGHTS ARE OPERATIONAL. BRAKE LIGHTS, REAR TURN SIGNALS, REVERSE LIGHTS, DOORS UNLOCK LIGHT ARE ALL OPERATIONAL.
CHEVY TRAILER BLLLAZER PROBLEMS WITH IGNITION. KEY WILL NOT TURN AFTER SHUTTING IT OFF TO PARK. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES.
THE HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY. SOMETIMES THE HEADLIGHTS WORK BUT OTHER TIMES THEY TURN OFF. THE HIGH BEAMS AND MARKER LIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO THE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS AND OCCURS IN MOTION OR AT A STOP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS MELTED THE TAIL LAMP CIRCUIT BOARD. IN ADDITION, WHEN USING THE TURN SIGNALS, THE INDICATOR FLUCTUATED ABNORMALLY FAST. UPON INSPECTION, THE EXTERIOR LIGHTING DID NOT WORK. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALER CONFIRMED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS MALFUNCTIONED, AND THE CIRCUIT BOARD AND WIRING HARNESS ASSEMBLIES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 112,000.

VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING ON CITY STREET AT 30MPH WHEN IT STRUCK A UTILITY POLE, SHEARING IT OFF AT THE BASE. VEHICLE THEN TRAVELED STRAIGHT UP A HILL AND STRUCK A HOUSE, COMING TO REST THERE. DRIVING ON FREEWAY AT A CRUISE CONTROL SPEED OF 70 MPH WITHOUT ANY WARNING LIGHTS OR MALFUNCTIONS WITH THE TRUCK, WHITE SMOKE WAS NOTED FROM BEHIND THE TRUCK. SMOKE IMMEDIATELY BECAME WORSE AND TRUCK WAS PULLED OFF ON SIDE OF ROAD. SMOKE WAS NOTED COMING FROM UNDER FRONT HOOD AS WELL. DRIVER THEN SAW FLAMES COMING UP DRIVER SIDE WINDOW. DRIVER RAN FROM VEHICLE AND IT WAS CONSUMED IN FIRE. THE WHOLE VEHICLE WAS A FIRE BOMB AND DESTROYED. NO INJURY WAS SUSTAINED BY DRIVER AS OF NEXT DAY EXCEPT TO SAY SHOCK AND EMOTIONAL TRAUMA. DRIVER SIDE DOOR SWITCH FOR SAFETY RECALL OF POSSIBLE FIRE WAS DONE AND SERVICED ON APRIL 2015. TRUCK WAS IN THE SHOP THE PREVIOUS DAY FOR A TIE ROD REPAIR, OIL CHANGE, AND TIRE ROTATION. MECHANIC SAID THE TRUCK LOOKED IN GOOD SHAPE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS NOTED ON THE VEHICLE. I HAVE PICTURES ON MY PHONE OF A BALL OF FIRE THAT WAS THE TRUCK.
I HAVE A 2006 TRAIL BLAZER THE WIPER COMES ON WHEN I START IT AND WHILE DRIVING IT, ALSO THE FLUIDS WILL SPRAY OUT . I TOOK IT TO BE FIX, AND ABOUT 3 TO 4 WEEKS IT STARTED AGAIN. WHY HAVEN'T THERE BEEN A RECALL ON THIS, SINCE THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM.

FUEL GAUGE IS GOING CRAZY. WHEN I FILL IT WITH FUEL IT WILL SOMETIMES REGISTER EMPTY AND YELLOWLIGHT INDICATOR COMES ON. IT GOES UP AND DOWN ALL THE TIME.
WHILST DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN AND LOST POWER STEERING. HAD TO PULL OVER ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. AT HIGH SPEEDS THIS IS TROUBLING. THE POWERTRAIN AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WAITED SEVERAL MINUTES AND CAR WOULD RESTART AND BE OPERABLE BUT WOULD REPEAT. MECHANIC DETERMINED A FAULTY COMPUTER KNOWN AS THE POWETRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) OR ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM). THIS PART WAS REPLACED AND HAS FIXED THE PROBLEM.

THE WIPERS ONLY GO ONE SPEED AND STAY ON. LESS I TAKE OUT THE FUSE. AND THEN IF I NEED THEM I PLACE THE FUSE BACK IN. I HAD PEOPLE LOOK AT AND THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE. IT JEST STARTED ONE DAY AND THE WINDOW WASHER FLUID WOULD ALSO SPRAY EVERY WERE.
THE GAS GAUGE SENOR QUIT WORKING IT IS STUCK ON EMPTY. THE MILEAGE IS 116,014 THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER'S THAT HAS REPORTED THIS PROBLEM. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL AND FIXED FREE OF CHARGE BY THE DEALER.
