THE DEALER IS LOOKING INTO THE REASONING FOR THIS, THERE SEEM TO BE NUMEROUS COUNTS OF 2009-2013 GM CROSSOVER VEHICLES HAVING THE SAME ISSUE, WITHOUT RECALLS. I FEEL THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE, AS I WAS DRIVING WITH MY 4 YEAR OLD SON. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V118000 (AIR BAGS). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,550. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER AND THE FAULTY SENSORS WERE REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE HEADLIGHTS STOPPED WORKING. THE CONTACT HAD TO DRIVE WITH THE HIGH BEAMS ACTIVATED. THE MANUFACTURER DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE, EXCEPT TO REFER THE CONTACT BACK TO THE DEALER AND NHTSA. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REMEDIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
MY CAR IS NOTIFYING ME TO SERVICE AIR BAGS. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A MESSAGE LIKE THIS FROM ANY OF MY CARS AND WHEN I TOOK IT IN, THE DEALER SAID IT IS NOT ON A RECALL SO I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. IT IS AN AIRBAG AND I FEEL THAT IT MAY BE A RECALL SINCE IT IS A MANUFACTURERS ISSUE AND OBVIOUSLY I CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO THE AIRBAG. I WOULD HATE TO SEE A FATALITY DUE TO THE AIRBAG AND THEN A RECALL IS ISSUED OUT AFTER THE FACT. *TR
DRIVING WHEN CAR BEEPS 4 TIMES AND CONTROL LIGHTS COME ON SAYING TRACTION CONTROL OFF, STABILITY CONTROL OFF, ENGINE POWER LOW. SLOWS THE CAR DOWN TO 15-20 MPH. VEHICLE VERY HARD TO STEER. LOUD NOISE WHEN SHIFT OUT OF PARK. HARD TO STEER AT LOW SPEED, TOOK TO DEALERSHIP THEY KEPT MY VEHICLE REFUSED TO PROVIDE LOANER CAR UNTIL DIAGNOSED TWO DAYS LATER. WHILE DRIVING ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET A WARNING MESSAGE OF "SERVICE BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM" CAME ON. I IMMEDIATELY MOVED TO THE SHOULDER, TURNED THE CAR OFF, RESTARTED IT, AND GOT THE SAME MESSAGE. NOT KNOWING IF IT WOULD BE SAFE TO DRIVE ANY FURTHER AND NOT HAVE ANY LOSS OF CONTROL IN TRAFFIC I CALLED A FRIEND WHO SAID THE BATTERY MIGHT HAVE SUFFICIENT POWER TO ALLOW ME TO LIMP IN TO A DEALER FOR SERVICE. AFTER A "WHITE KNUCKLE" DRIVE I GOT TO THE DEALER AND ABOUT $1150 WORTH OF REPAIRS LATER THINGS SEEM TO BE BACK IN ORDER. I WAS TOLD THE CHARGING SYSTEM FAILED. HARD TO BELIEVE THIS COULD HAPPEN IN LESS THAN THREE YEARS AND LESS THAN 40,000 MILES. I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THE ENGINE HAD LOST POWER BECAUSE OF THIS PREMATURE AND SUDDEN FAILURE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. WHEN THE IGNITION WAS TURNED TO THE ON POSITION, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED CONTINUOUSLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS A WIRING FAILURE UNDERNEATH THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AND THE WIRE CONNECTION NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 51,000.
ON 24 DEC 2014 AT AROUND 11:45AM, I WAS PULLING OFF A MAIN ROAD (WITH MY YOUNG DAUGHTER) INTO THE PARKING LOT OF MY DOCTOR'S BUSINESS, WHEN MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED COMPLETELY WHILE I WAS STILL IN MOTION. AFTER BRAKING, I WAS ABLE TO JIGGLE THE STEERING WHEEL FREE AND PULLED THE CAR INTO A PARKING SPACE. I CONTACTED MY DEALERSHIP IMMEDIATELY TO REPORT THE INCIDENT. AS IT WAS CHRISTMAS EVE, THEY WERE CLOSING WITHIN MINUTES AND I WAS TOLD TO BRING IN THE CAR ON FRIDAY, DEC 26TH..WHICH I DID. AFTER AN ASSESSMENT WAS COMPLETED AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT "COULD NOT DUPLICATE CUSTOMER'S COMPLAINT OF LOSS OF POWER STEERING", I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE THEY COULD DO FOR ME UNTIL THE PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN AND WITH MORE REGULARITY. THE SERVICE REPS DID SHARE THAT THERE HAS BEEN REPORTED INCIDENTS WITH THE TRAVERSE REGARDING LOSS OF POWER STEERING, BUT NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS SHARED WITH ME. UPON DRIVING OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP, I PROMPTLY CONTACTED GM WHO OPENED UP A CASE REPORT. I HAVE REQUESTED THAT GM AND THE DEALERSHIP CONDUCT A MORE THOROUGH DIAGNOSIS OF THE STEERING SYSTEM AS I DEEM THIS INCIDENT MORE THAN JUST A "RANDOM" INCIDENT. THIS IS RATHER ALARMING AND I AND MY DAUGHTER ARE EXTREMELY LUCKY THAT THIS DID NOT HAPPEN MINUTES BEFORE WHEN WE WERE ON A MAJOR INTERSTATE DRIVING AT A HIGHER SPEED. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I FEEL VERY UNSAFE IN MY CAR NOW AND FEEL IT NECESSARY TO REPORT THE INCIDENT TO NHTSA IN THE EVENT OTHER 2012 TRAVERSE OWNERS HAVE REPORTED THE SAME. THANK YOU. *JS

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
I HAVE HAD MANY ONGOING ISSUES SINCE CAR PURCHASE. ELECTRICAL , AIR CONDITIONING AND INJECTOR ISSUES. CAR DOES NOT SEEM SAFE. LIGHTS GO OUT EVERY FEW MONTHS WHILDE DRIVING WHEN IT IS DARK. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. 1ST REPLACEMENT ON LIGHT WAS DONE WHILE UNDER WARRANT, HOWEVER, CHEVY DEALER FAILED TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES CAUSING THE LIGHT TO BURN OUT AND SIMPLY CHANGED LIGHT OUT. IT HAS BEEN CONTINUOUS WITH US CHANGING LIGHTS, BRAKE LIGHTS AND HEADLIGHTS. CAR WOULD LOSE POWER AND JERK AS WELL AS HAD GEARS PROBLEMS WHILE TRAVELING ON A FWY WITH CARS GOING AN AVERAGE OG 60 MPH. CAR WOULD NOT AUTO SHIFT ABOVE 20-30 MPH. GAS SMELL UPON START OF VEHICLE AND THE LIST GOES ON. STUCK OPEN EVAP PURGE SOLENOID SETTING SES LIGHT CAC CASE 8-2106770252 DALILA LOPEZ--- SCANNED ECM FOUND CODE P0300 P0496.PERFORMED DIAGNOSIS. PERFORMED INJECTOR BALANCE TEST FOUND BANK 1 INJECTOR OUT OF SPECS.REPLACED 1 3 5 INJECTORS. IT SEEMS THAT THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE INJECTOR ISSUES MAY HAVE CAUSED OTHER PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE WHICH CANNOT BE DENIED NOR CONFIRMED. AN OIL PAN GASKET HAS BEEN LEAKING AS WELL WHEN LESS THAN 90,000 MILES. SAFETY HAS BEEN AN ONGOING CONCERN. I AM REQUESTING THAT THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN RESOLVED SINCE THE 1ST LIGHT WENT OUT IN 2014 TO BE RESOLVED AT GMS COST. IN ADDITION I AM ASKING THAT THE OIL PAN GASKET REPLACEMENT BE DONE AT GM COST . IN ADDITION, I AM REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT OF MY DOWN PAYMENT OF $10,000 ON MY VEHICLE.
A WEEK AGO MY TRAVERSE STARTED MAKING A GRINDING NOISE, AND I THOUGHT IT WAS THE BRAKES SO I TOOK IT TO OUR MECHANIC WHO CHECKED ALL FOUR WHEELS AND DETERMINED THE BRAKES WERE FINE. HE SAID IT WAS POSSIBLY A ROCK OR SOMETHING CAUSING THE NOISE AND IT STOPPED FOR A FEW DAYS. THIS MORNING I WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPOT AT WORK AND THE STEERING FROZE UP COMPLETELY AND THE BRAKES DID NOT WANT TO WORK EITHER. I ALMOST HIT THE CAR I WAS PARKING NEXT TO! I'M SO GLAD THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC OR A MAIN STREET OR IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT WORSE. VERY SCARY, BUT WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS? WHILE DRIVING IN OUR TRAVERSE THE IGNITION FELL OUT IF THE ON POSITION KILLING THE ENGINE AND LOCKING THE STEERING WHEEL. *TR
DURING REGULAR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE, WAS TOLD THAT THE POWER STEERING GREAT NEEDS REPLACEMENT BECAUSE IT IS LEAKING ($1500). NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. STRANGELY ENOUGH, MY 2010 CHEVROLET TAHOE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AT 32,000 MILES BUT WAS COVERED UNDER BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY. THIS IS NOT A COINCIDENCE IN MY OPINION. *TR
WHILE DRIVING MY CHILDREN TO SCHOOL A WARNING LIGHT CAME ON TO CHECK POWER CHARGING SYSTEM BUT THEN IT WENT OFF. A FEW MINUTES LATER MY AIR CONDITIONING SHUT OFF AND THE POWER SAVING MODE LIGHT CAME ON FOLLOWED A FEW MINUTES BY THE BATTERY WARNING LIGHT. LATER THAT EVENING I HAD MY HUSBAND FOLLOW ME TO A NEARBY AUTO SHOP TO HAVE THE CAR CHECKED OUT. THE AIR WOULD NOT EVEN COME ON AND I DROVE LESS THAN 2 MILES TO THE SHOP. NEAR THE AUTO SHOP AFTER HAVING THE CAR CHECKED OUT AND TOLD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY I ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE HOME WITH THE INTENT TO RETURN THE NEXT DAY SINCE IT WAS CLOSING TIME AND NO WORK COULD BE DONE. THE CAR EXPERIENCED A COMPLETE POWER FAILURE AT A MAJOR INTERSECTION. THE ALTERNATOR HAD FAILED ON A CAR LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD AND UNDER 50,000 MILES. I HAVE DONE RESEARCH AND THIS IS A FAIRLY COMMON ISSUE WITH THE 2012 TRAVERSE AND IS NOT CONSIDERED A FLAW OR CAUSE FOR CONCERN OR RECALL. DOES SOMEONE NEED TO DIE BEFORE THIS PROBLEM IS ADDRESSED? *TR
DRIVER BEGAN TO FEEL AND HEAR A RUBBING NOISE COMING FROM THE WHEEL WELL. WHEN TRYING TO MAKE A LOW SPEED LEFT TURN OFF OF A PRIMARY ROAD INTO THE ENTRANCE OF A BUSINESS, THE STEERING COMPLETELY LOCKED UP AND THE DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO TURN AND WAS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OPPOSING LANE OF TRAFFIC. FORTUNATELY FOR THE DRIVER AND PASSENGERS, THERE WAS NO ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO MANUALLY STEER (WITH DIFFICULTY AGAINST A LOT OF RESISTANCE FROM THE STEERING WHEEL) THE CAR BACK INTO THE CORRECT LANE AND CONTINUED ON UNTIL PULLING OVER IN A SAFE LOCATION ON THE SAME BLOCK. *TR

RECALL ON THE FLEXIBLE STEEL CABLE THAT CONNECTS THE SAFETY BELT TO THE VEHICLE AT THE OUTSIDE OF THE FRONT OUTBOARD SEATING POSITIONS THAT CAN FATIGUE AND SEPARATE OVER TIME AS A RESULT OF OCCUPANT MOVEMENT INTO THE SEAT. *TA THE CONSUMER STATED THE RECALL, WAS COMPLETED. *JB
OPENED THE LIFT GATE WITH THE KEY FOB, MADE A LOUD NOISE WHEN FULLY EXTENDED AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED SHUTTING WHILE I WAS GETTING SOMETHING OUT OF THE BACK. DON'T KNOW IF THE DOOR WOULD HAVE BOUNCED BACK UP IF IT HIT ME AND WOULD HAVE STARTED COMING BACK DOWN AGAIN SINCE IT DOESN'T STAY UP. USED MANUAL MODE AND DOOR DOES NOT STAY UP. GOOGLED IT AND APPARENTLY THERE HAVE BEEN PROBLEMS SINCE 2007 WITH THE POWER LIFT GATE IN THE SATURN OUTLOOK, ACADIA, TRAVERSE, ENCLAVE, AND EQUINOX. *TR
I WAS DRIVING THROUGH A PARKING LOT AND THE STABILLITRACK LIGHT CAME ON, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHED AND THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON. THE DRIVER CENTER SAID THE TRACTION CONTROL SHUT OFF AND IT ALSO STATED TO SERVICE STABILLITRACK. THE ENGINE SEEMED TO SLOW ITSELF AS WELL. I PARKED THE VEHICLE AND WAITED A FEW MINUTES. THE WARNING LIGHTS FINALLY WENT OFF ON THEIR OWN AND THE TRACTION CONTROL TURNED BACK ON, ON IT'S OWN. THE CAR SEEMED OK DRIVING HOME FOR 2 MILES AND ENGINE POWER SEEMED TO RETURN TO NORMAL BUT THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME HESITATION IN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTING AT LOW SPEEDS TOO. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THE SOONEST THEY CAN GET ME IN TO CHECK THE CAR IS MONDAY. I ASKED IF IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE AND THEY WOULD NOT COMMIT TO SAFETY OR RELIABILITY BUT REFUSED PROVIDE ANY RELIEF UNTIL MONDAY AND GAVE ME NO OFFER OF A LOANER CAR. I JUST DID SOME INVESTIGATING ONLINE TO RESEARCH WHAT THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM MIGHT BE AND IT APPEARS THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE AND IT CAN OCCUR AT HIGH SPEEDS ON THE HIGHWAY. MANY FORUMS LIST MANY PEOPLE WITH THIS COMPLAINT. I AM CONCERNED THIS COULD OCCUR AGAIN AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THE PROBLEM LOOKS TO BE INTERMITTENT AND WILL OCCUR WITHOUT WARNING AT ANY SPEED. IN MY OPINION THIS IS A SAFETY PROBLEM WHICH NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. I AM FEARFUL FOR MY FAMILIES SAFETY IN THIS VEHICLE. *TR

FIRST INCIDENT I WAS DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, WHEN I GOT A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, SERVICE STABILE TRACK, AND THE CRUISE KICKED OFF, THE VEHICLE SLOWED AND STARTED TO CHUG. I PULLED OVER, SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF. CHECKED THE OIL ETC, AND RESTARTED, IT SEEMED FINE. A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER, I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT WHEN IT DID THE SAME THING, EXCEPT THIS TIME THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF. I HAVE HAD THREE MORE OCCURANCES WITH THIS AND THEY SEEM TO BE GETTING CLOSER TOGETHER. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS AS IT IS A REAL CAUSE FOR CONCERN. I HAVE READ THE FORUMS AND MANY WHO HAVE THE SAME ISSUE THAT I HAVE. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE, AND DREAD TRANSPORTING MY FAMILY IN IT AT THIS TIME. *JS

THE SERVICE AIRBAG AND SEAT BELT REMINDER LIGHT INTERMITTENTLY IS COMING ON ON DRIVER DASHBOARD. HAPPENS WITH PASSENGER IS IN THE FRONT SEAT. THE PASSENGER AND DRIVER WERE BOTH BUCKED UP. TOOK IT TO A SERVICE CENTER AND THERE ARE NO CODES STORED. SYSTEM IS CHECKING OUT WITH PASS WHEN IT IS CHECKED. THERE ARE NO FAIL INDICATORS. BOTH RECALLS HAVE BEEN REPAIRED WITH THE SEAT BELT AND THE AIRBAG SYSTEM WIRING HARNESS AND THE ISSUE IS STILL RECURRING. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE BRAKES WERE ENGAGED AND A LOUD GRINDING SOUND EMITTED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE PROBLEM HAS RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKES FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE PROBLEM RECURRED. RANDOMLY SERVICE LIGHTS COME ON FOR THOSE AS WELL AS REDUCED ENGINE POWER WHILE DRIVING. THE ENGINE HAS LOCKED UP ON ME TWICE. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE. WHEN THE CAR IDLES OR I'M STOPPED AT A LIGHT MY SERVICE LIGHTS COME ON. MY TRANSMISSION IS NOW AN ISSUE. I HAVE SPENT OVER 15K ON REPAIRS FOR A VEHICLE I BOUGHT FOR 17K..I WAS LIED TO WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE BEING TOLD I WAS THE 2ND OWNER INSTEAD OF THE 5TH. THE PASSENGER AIR BAG HAS A CODE. THE AC DOESN'T WORK, THE HEAT WOULD BLOW ALL THE TIME EVEN IF OFF AND ON COOL, NOW THE BLOWER DOESN'T WORK AT ALL. THE WINDOWS DON'T OPEN.
RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS ALL OF THE SUDDEN: TRACTION CONTROL OFF, TRACTION CONTROL NEEDS SERVICE, STABILITRAK OFF, STABILITRAK NEEDS SERVICE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AT THE SAME TIME. VEHICLE BEGAN TRYING TO STALL. LUCKILY, I WAS ON A COUNTRY ROAD AND COULD EASILY PULL OVER QUICKLY. ALL OF THE WARNINGS WENT OFF AFTER A MINUTE AND I RESUMED DRIVING. EVERY TIME I HAD TO SLOW DOWN AND COME TO A STOP, THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WOULD DOWNSHIFT VERY HARD. AFTER SEARCHING THE INTERNET TO SEE WHAT THE ISSUE COULD BE, I FOUND COUNTLESS FORUMS WITH COUNTLESS PEOPLE HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUE, BUT SOME WERE IN A MORE DANGEROUS SITUATION GOING HIGHWAY SPEEDS IN TRAFFIC. OF THOSE PEOPLE MANY OF THEM HAVE TAKEN THEIR VEHICLE TO THEIR GM DEALERSHIPS AND HAVE SPENT HUNDREDS AND EVEN THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON FAILED ATTEMPTS TO FIX IT ONLY TO CONTINUE TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM. SOME WILL NO LONGER ALLOW OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS/CHILDREN TO RIDE IN THE VEHICLES DUE TO THE DANGER OF STALLING SUDDENLY WITH NO WARNING. I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE HOW MANY CHEVY MODELS AND YEARS INCLUDING BRAND NEW 2014'S ARE HAVING THIS EXACT ISSUE AND GM IS DOING VERY WELL AT AVOIDING RESPONSIBILITY. THE NEW OWNERS ARE PROTECTED BY LEMON LAWS FINANCIALLY, BUT THE ONLY OPTION FOR OWNERS WITH A VEHICLE OVER A YEAR OLD IS TO SELL OR TRADE IN. EITHER WAY, THIS IS PUTTING YET ANOTHER UNKNOWING CONSUMER IN DANGER AND IT IS KEEPING THESE DEFECTIVE VEHICLES ON THE ROAD WHERE WE AND OUR LOVED ONES DRIVE EVERYDAY. AT 30K MILES THE STABILITY AND WOULD PUT MY CAR IN LIMP MODE. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS ONTHE INTERSTATES. SUDDENLY DROPPING THE SPEED TO ABOUT 30 MPH. I DEALT WITH THIS BY KEEPING THE STABILITRAC TURNED OFF. NOW AT 100K IT TURNED ON AND OFF BY ITSELF. REEDING BLOGS I HAVE FOUND NO FIX FOR THIS. THE VEHICLE NOW FILLS WITH FUMES. I WILL PROBABLY NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM PRODUCT. I CAN NOT USE MY CAR. THIS HAPPENS IN ALMOST EVERY DRIVING SITUATION.

I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AT LEAST 5 OR SIX TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. MOST RECENT REPAIR ATTEMPT WAS 1/4/16 AND I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED FOR 2/1/16. TWO DAYS LATER, ON OCTOBER 13, 2013, WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A ROAD, AT A SPEED OF APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE CAR AGAIN SUDDENLY CAME TO A HALT, BLOCKING THE STEERING WHEEL, BRAKES AND ENTIRE ENGINE. THE CAR RAN INTO AN INTERSECTION BEFORE IT CAME TO FULL STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. THANKFULLY, NO OTHER CAR WAS IN THE INTERSECTION. IT WAS DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO AN ACCIDENT. THE DEALERSHIP NOW SAYS THAT THEY FOUND ANOTHER PROBLEM AND AGAIN ASSURE THAT THEY FIXED IT. I MADE A COMPLAINT TO GENERAL MOTORS, WHICH SIMPLY RESPONDED THAT THEY THINK IT IS NOW FIXED. NO REASONABLY PRUDENT PERSON WOULD EVER DRIVE THIS CAR AGAIN. I WAS IN EXTREME DANGER TWICE DUE TO THE DEFECT. I'VE TAKEN THIS VEHICLE BACK 4 TIMES NOW FOR THE SAME SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT. DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR KEEPS TELLING ME IT'S AN ISSUE WITH THERE NOT BEING A GREASE NEEDED ON THE SENSORS AND THAT THEY APPLY TO EACH SENSOR AS IT COMES UP, NOW ON THE 4TH TRIP BACK SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGER CLAIMS THAT ISN'T CORRECT AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ISSUE.
