TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT, THE DRIVER'S SIDE HEAD REST INADVERTENTLY DEPLOYED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A MINOR HEADACHE THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. GALEANA CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT (14375 S TAMIAMI TRAIL, FORT MYERS, FL 33912) WAS CONTACTED AND THE VEHICLE WAS AWAITING DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,027.
WAS STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT WHEN MY PASSENGER AIRBAG DEPLOYED. CHRYSLER SAID THE PART ALONE WOULD BE $550 TO FIX - THIS SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, AND ULTIMATELY, SHOULD NOT EVEN BE HAPPENING. SOMEONE COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED! I'M PLANNING ON TRADING IN MY CAR IN THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS TO AVOID MORE ISSUES LIKE THIS; TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY.
WHEN THE CAR IS PARKED AFTER STARTING IT WANTS TO ACCELERATE QUICKLY ALSO AT A STOP POSITION ONCE YOU TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE BRAKE THE CAR QUICKLY ACCELERATES WITHOUT USING THE GAS PEDDLE. ALSO ENGINE LIGHT AND ETC INDICATOR PERIODICALLY COME ON. THEY NEVER STAY ON BUT CAUSES TOTAL LOSS OF POWER ! YOU HAVE TO PULL OVER IMMEDIATELY AND HOPE YOU DO NOT CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND SHUT THE CAR OFF. AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN.. OWNERS MANUAL MAKES IT SOUND LIKE IT IS ONLY A PROBLEM IF THE LIGHT STAYS ON AND DOES NOT SHUT OFF AFTER YOU CYCLE THE IGNITION WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS COMPLETELY STOPPED AND THE SHIFT LEVER IS PLACED IN THE PARK POSITION. I HAVE TO BE VERY CAUTIOUS DRIVING THE CAR. WILL BE TAKING IT TO THE SHOP SOON. IT FEELS LIKE YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE CAR WHEN THIS HAPPENS VERY SCAREY SITUATION

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO HAVE THE HEADLIGHT REPLACED. THE CONTACT CALLED DWAYNE LANE'S CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (10515 EVERGREEN WAY, EVERETT, WA 98204, (425) 441-3522) AND NOTIFIED THEM OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,064. *AS THE HEADLIGHTS REPLACED 3 SEPERATE TIMES BUT THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. *TR
MY DRIVER'S SIDE HEAD REST HAD BEEN FALLING DOWN FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS. I WAS SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY, WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I HEARD A BOOM. I WONDERED WHAT HAPPENED. I WAS PARKED. THEN I FOUND THE HEADREST HAD PUSHED OUT TOTALLY, STUCK OUT BY A PIECE OF METAL. I COULD NOT PUSH IT BACK. I CALLED CHRYSLER AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD COST OVER $450.00 TO RESET IT OR GET A NEW ONE. I TRIED TO PULL THE WHOLE HEADREST OUT, BUT IT DOES NOT COME OUT. I LOOKED ONLINE AND FOUND THERE WAS A RECALL FOR CARS UP TO 2013. BUT MINE IS A 2014. DOES THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE? WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THESE HEADRESTS. I'VE HEARD THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS. I'VE HAD THIS CAR FOR 5 YEARS AND HAVE ONE MORE YEAR TO PAY FOR IT. I AM NOT TRADING IT IN. I FEEL CHRSYLER SHOULD FIX THIS. FOR FREE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD A FEATURE, WHICH ALERTED HER THAT THE BLINKER BULB WAS OUT. THE CONTACT ALSO DISCOVERED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING. THE BULBS WERE REPLACED THREE TIMES, BUT THE FAILURES CONTINUED. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS ADVISED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TO CHECK FOR SIMILAR RECALLS WITH EARLIER MODEL VEHICLES. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE DEALER WOULD "ASSIGN" A RECALL TO THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. DWAYNE LANE'S CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (10515 EVERGREEN WAY, EVERETT, WA 98204, (425) 441-3522) STATED THAT THEY COULD NOT CREATE A "RECALL" FOR THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT RELAYED THIS INFORMATION TO THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA. THE CONTACT MAILED A LETTER TO NHTSA ON AUGUST 27, 2019, BUT HAD NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE DEALER AGAIN AND STATED THAT THE DEALER WOULD "ASSIGN" A RECALL TO THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
MY CAR DOES A JERKING MOTION WHEN IT ATTEMPTS TO CHANGE GEARS, AND SHUTS DOWN WHILE I AM DRIVING IT. IT CRANKS BACK UP AFTER THIS WHINNING FOR ABOUT 10-15 SECONDS.
2.4L 2014 200 MODEL; THE RADIATOR COOLANT PLASTIC FILLER NECK DISINTEGRATED ALLOWING FOR GLYCOL COOLANT FUMES TO SEEP SLOWLY OVER TIME INTO CAR VIA CABIN AIR INTAKE OF INHABITANTS AS WELL AS ADD'L HAZARD TO CAR MOTOR VIA OVERHEATING. CAR HAD 72000 MILES ON IT.
TAKATA RECALL , CATALYTIC CONVERTER RECALL, CAR AIRBAG DEFLATED, I CALLED MY DEALER, BUD'S CHRYSLER DODGE. I COULD GET A LOANER CAR FOR THE DAYS THEY NEEDED THIS REPAIRS BECAUSE I DID NOT BUY MY CAR THERE. I NEED A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE FOR 2 DAYS BECAUSE I TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE AREA WITH MY JOB ALL THE TIME. THE CAR HAS BEEN PUTTING OUT SOME UNWANTED FUMES AND EXHAUST EMISSIONS AT CERTAIN TIMES AS WELL.
THE CAR HAS A TICKING BY THE RIGHT SIDE I REPORTED THIS TO MEINKE AND THEY LET THE WARRANTY EXPIRE WITH SILVERCREST BUT ITS NOTED IN MY 30 DAY WARRANTY WITH DRIVE TIME.
NO HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE. IT WILL NOT DEFROST MY WINDOW ON THAT SIDE AND VERY UNSAFE IN THESE COLD MICHIGAN WINTERS

WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO LOSE POWER, THE ELECTRIC LIGHTNING BOLT WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, AND THE VEHICLE LOST ACCELERATION. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURNED ON THE HAZARD LIGHTS, AND DROVE HOME AT APPROXIMATELY 1 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,000.
THE CAR HAS HEAT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BUT DOES NOT HEAT OR DEFROST ON PASSENGER SIDE OF VEHICLE, THEREFORE CANNOT SEE OUT OF PASSENGER SIDE WINDSHIELD TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY SAY THAT THE HEATER CORE NEEDS REPLACED, $1500.00 LATER. I HAVE RESEARCHED ONLINE AND THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE CHRYSLER 200 VEHICLES. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY CHRYSLER IS THEREFORE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING THE HEATER CORES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED TO FULLY ILLUMINATE THE ROADWAY AND HER VISION WAS LIMITED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CENTRAL MAIN MOTORS (420 KENNEDY MEMORIAL DR, WATERVILLE, ME 04901, 207-872-9211) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 87,300.
TAKATA RECALL, HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP MANY TIMES SINCE THE RECALL BACK IN 2016 AND KEEP GETTING TOLD THAT THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AND THEN TOLD THAT THEY WERE AVAILABLE WHEN THEY ARE NOT, I HAVE TRIED MANY TIMES TO GET THIS FIXED BUT THE DEALERSHIP IS REFUSING TO FIX IT JUST BECAUSE I KEEP GETTING TOLD THAT THEY WOULD ORDER THE PART AND NOTHING GETS DONE. I AM STARTING TO GET AGGRAVATED AND CONCERNED FOR THE SAFETY OF ME AND MY FAMILY WHILE DRIVING . I AM REGRETTING THAT I PURCHASED A CHRYSLER SND DON'T WANT TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE AGAIN. I USE TO THINK HIGHLY OF CHRYSLER AND THEIR PRODUCTS BUT DEALING WITH THIS AND CAUSING A MAJOR HEADACHE HAS CHANGED MIND TO NOT BUY AGAIN. JUST BECAUSE OF THE WAY THAT I HAVE BEEN TREATED, MY MOM HAS THE SAME RECALL ON HER FORD AND FORD IS PAYING FOR HER TO HAVE A RENTAL WHILE THEY WAIT FOR THE PARTS TO BE AVAILABLE FOR HERS TO BE FIXED. THAT TO ME TELLS HOW MUCH THEY CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING AROUND FOR 2 YEARS WITH THIS RECALL JUST FOR NOTHING TO BE DONE. IF I COULD TAKE THE CAR BACK AND BE ABLE TO GET ME DIFFERENT VEHICLE LIKE A FORD, CHEVY I WOULD. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE.
RECALL S61. I PURCHASED MY CAR AT CARMAX IN 2017. TOOK IT IN LAST WEEK FOR RADIO. THEY SENT IT TO NEWARK CHRYSLER JEEP ON CLEVELAND AVE IN DE. WHILE IT WAS THERE I HAD ASK TO HAVE RECALLS FIX. ACCORDING TO MY PAPER WORK IT WAS COMPLETED ON JULY 5TH. WELL TODAY IS JULY 11TH AND IT STILL SAYS I HAVE THE SAME RECALL ON MY CAR. I CONTACT CARMAN THEY WENT AND PICK UP MY CAR AND TOOK IT TO BRANDYWINE CHRYSLER WHERE IT STILL IS. I HAVE PAPERWORK FROM NEWARK SAYING THEY FIX THE RECALL. I'M VERY MAD THAT IT SAYS ITS DONE BUT REALLY HASN'T. THIS IS A RECALL SOMETHING VERY SERIOUS AS TO THAT WITH SEATBELT. NO DEALERSHIP SHOULD EVER DO THIS. CARMAX HAS ALSO STATED TO ME THEY WILL BE TAKING ACTION WITH NEWARK ALSO REGARDING THIS.THEY HAD ALSO STATED THEY REPLACED MY RADIO WHICH THEY DIDN'T.
I WAS DRIVING AND CAR STARTED TO SMOKE OUT OF MY BOTTONS TO ROLL MY WINDOW DOWN AND OUT OF MY SPEAKER AND THEN STOPPED DRIVING ON HWY. GOT IT TOWED TO PEP BOYS AND MY WARRANTY REFUSES TO PAY FOR MY ENGINE WHEN I PAID FOR 5 YEAR WARRANTY FIRST TIME USE
WHILE DRIVING OR ON A HILL, THE EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON. I HAVE TO KEEP PUMPING THE EMERGENCY BRAKES UNTIL THE LIGHT GOES OUT, AND I CAN'T MOVE EITHER. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER TWICE AND IT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH HOW THE CAR SIT AND THE FLUID SHIFT OR LOW ON FLUID.
TAKATA RECALL. THE AIRBAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON AND OFF ON THE DASH, SOMETIMES WHEN I GO TO BREAK. I HAVE HAD IT TESTED TO MAKE SURE WHAT IT IS. I WAS TOLD BY STARK'S IT IS A SENSOR IN MY HEADREST THAT IS PART OF THE AIRBAG SYSTEM, IF IT IS ON AND I HAVE A WRECK THEY WILL NOT DEPLOY. STARTED IN MAY AND IS STILL GOING ON.
THE 3.6 LITER CHRYSLER ENGINE HAS A FLAW IN THE INTER COOLER MIXING ANTIFREEZE WITH OIL CAUSING A LOSE OF HEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR. THIS IS A DESIGN PROBLEM EFFECTING CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP, AND RAM WITH 3.6 LITER ENGINE. THE COST TO REPAIR IS $880.00 TO $1,200 PER CAR BECAUSE OF A FAULTY DESIGN. WHO IS GOING TO STEP UP TO HELP THE CONSUMER.

THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 73,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
HEAT STOPPED WORKING WHICH CAUSES ME TO HAVE NO DEFROST THIS LEADS TO VISIBILITY ISSUES HAVE SEEN MANY ONLINE COMPLAINTS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM.
MY AIRBAGS WERE RECALLED. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED AND WAS IN AN AUTO ACCIDENT.
I WAS WONDERING IF A SAFETY DEVICE IN A CAR HEADREST, DESIGNED TO JUMP FORWARD IN A REAR END COLLISION, IS A SAFETY DEVICE THAT FALLS UNDER WARRANTY. MY WIFE HAD ONE THAT MALFUNCTIONED IN HER 2014 CHRYSLER 200. THERE WAS NO REAR END COLLISION. SHE STOPPED AT AN INTERSECTION IN A MALL PARKING LOT. THE HEADREST DEPLOYED, THROWING HER FORWARD INTO THE STEERING WHEEL. CHRYSLER IS SAYING THAT SINCE HER CAR IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY SHE WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THIS FAULTY PART. MODELS UP TO 2013 WERE RECALLED FOR THE SAME MICROCHIP MALFUNCTION IN THE HEADRESTS, BUT 2014 WERE NOT RECALLED.
2014 CHRYSLER 200. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER SAFETY RECALL. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE'S AIRBAGS WAS REPAIRED UNDER RECALL. THE AIRBAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED IT WAS NOT DUE TO THE RECALL REPAIR, BUT THE CLOCK SPRING FAILED. *JS
I OWN A 2014 CHRYSLER 200 AND MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS MALFUNCTIONED WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. THEY WOULD ONLY OPERATE ON THE HIGHEST SPEED SETTING AND WOULD INTERMITTENTLY STOP AND GO REALLY SLOW. THE DIAGNOSTIC REPORTED THAT THE CAUSE IS THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) IN WHICH CHRYSLER HAS HAD NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE.
CAR WAS DROVE 46 MILES TO WORK. WHEN EXITING CAR, FOR NO REASON THE HEAD REST SPLITS INTO TWO PIECES. I BELIEVE THIS CAR WAS MANUFACTURED USING THE RECALLED PART (N38) OR THE REPLACEMENT PART WAS NO BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT MOVING, IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, HAS NO PINGS OR SCARS. COMMUNITY CHRYSLER/DODGE/JEEP IN MARTINSVILLE, IN. WAS OF NO HELP, THEIR SOLUTION WAS SPEND $255 TO CHANGE FROM DRIVER TO PASSENGER, ORDER A NEW HEAD REST $388 ON A THREE MONTH BACK ORDER AND ANOTHER $255 TO INSTALL ONCE ARRIVES. THERE IS INSTRUCTIONS TO RESET, BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY TRIED TO RESET AND COULD NOT ACCOMPLISH. IF RESET, WOULD IT SPLIT APART AGAIN? SHOULD FAMILIES RISK LIVES BEING USED AS TEST DUMMIES FOR THE AUTO INDUSTRY POSSIBLY KILLING YOUR OWN FAMILY AND OTHERS IN ONCOMING TRAFFIC, WHILE YOUR NECK IS SNAPPED FORWARD AND DISTRACTING YOUR DRIVING?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HOOD FLEW OPEN INDEPENDENTLY WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND WAS ABLE TO RESUME DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CHASTANG CHRYSLER DEALER (LOCATED AT 1212 S VELASCO ST, ANGLETON, TX 77515). THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CONTACT WAS AT FAULT DUE TO HIM LEAVING THE HOOD OPEN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE DIAGNOSTIC AND REPAIRED COST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HOOD LATCH WAS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED AT THE CHASTANG CHRYSLER DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CALLED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WOULD BE A FEE FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC AND THE REPLACEMENT OF THE HOOD. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,150.
I HAD RECAL DONE ON MY CAR AND MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS STILL ON. CODE WAS READ AND IT IS FOR A SHORT IN THE DRIVERS SEAT. RECALL NOTICE DOES STATE THIS ISSUE. MY CAR IS NOT FIXED
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE ELKGROVE DODGE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE CONTACT WAS UNSURE OF THE EXACT REPAIR. RECENTLY, WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STALLED. THE CONTACT FOUND THAT THE STALLING WAS DUE TO THE BATTERY FAILING. THE CONTACT HAD THE BATTERY RECHARGED AND RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO REPLACED THE BATTERY. SHORTLY AFTER THE SECOND REPAIR, THE POWER STEERING AND BATTERY SUDDENLY FAILED. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED A THIRD TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED SEVERAL CASES REGARDING THE MATTER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,000.
I WAS ALONE IN THE CAR, DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, WHEN I HEARD A STARTLING BANG THAT CAME FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE. I SAW THAT THE HEADREST ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT HAD DEPLOYED WHILE I WAS DRIVING. WHEN I GOT HOME, I NOTICED SEVERAL SMALL PIECES OF BLACK PLASTIC ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT CUSHION. UPON EXAMINING THE HEADREST, IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THE PLASTIC WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO HOLD A 2"-3" SILVER METAL RETAINING ROD HAD FAILED. THAT SILVER METAL ROD IS STILL ENGAGED IN THE ELECTRONIC LOCK/RELEASE MECHANISM ATTACHED TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD REST. THE PLASTIC PIECES ON THE SEAT WERE FROM THAT ROD RETAINER. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE HEAT OF THE ARIZONA SUMMERS ARE CAUSING THE HEADREST PLASTIC COMPONENTS TO WEAKEN. I ALSO DON'T KNOW IF THIS WAS AN ISOLATED INCIDENT, OR THE BEGINNING OF A TREND. I SHUDDER TO THINK WHAT WOULD'VE HAPPENED IF IT WAS THE DRIVERS HEADREST THAT FAILED, HITTING ME IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MILES AN HOUR ON THE FREEWAY. REMOVING THE HEADRESTS TURN ON THE AIRBAG WARNING INDICATOR. AS I STATED EARLIER, I FEAR THAT THE DRIVER HEADREST MAY ALSO FAIL AT ANY TIME AND RESULTS IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. I PURCHASED THE CAR IN 2014. I HAVE REPLACED THE GAS CAP TWICE, THE SEAL BEHIND THE GAS CAP AND THE GAS LIGHT STAYS ON. THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON OFTEN AND THE CAR RUNS ROUGH, CUTTING OUT AND JERKING. IT HAS DONE THIS SINCE I BOUGHT IT.
FIRST I HAVE NOTICED MY CAR DELAYS AND JERKS WHEN PUTTING IT INTO GEAR. THIS HAPPENS MOSTLY IN THE WINTER. MORE RECENTLY MY CAR TRIED TO ACCELERATE A COUPLE TIMES WHILE MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE. I TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT REPAIRED AND THEY STATED BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT MAKE THE CAR DO THE SAME THING, THEY COULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. SECOND THE RECALL ON THE AIR BAGS AND SEAT BELTS WAS FIRST PUBLISHED ALMOST A YEAR AGO. THIS IS MY ONLY VEHICLE AND I HAVE TWO CHILDREN THAT ARE PLACED IN THAT VEHICLE. I AM SCARED FOR THEM AS WELL AS ANYONE THAT IS IN MY CAR IF I AM TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT. THIS IS FAR TOO LONG TO KNOW ABOUT A PROBLEM AND NOT FIX IT. THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO POSSIBLY CHARGE $125 DIAGNOSTIC FEE TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT'S THIS ISSUE OR NOT. REGARDLESS, THE OWNER'S MANUAL SAYS IT'S DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY. MEAN WHILE I AM DRIVING AN UNSAFE VEHICLE TIL PARTS ARE AVAILABLE, WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN JUNE.
