TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED AND HESITATED. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE ROAD SHOULDER, TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE, AND WAITED A FEW MINUTES. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED, THE "SERVICE TRANSMISSION" MESSAGE IMMEDIATELY APPEARED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DETERMINED THAT A BOLT ON THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,412.
I STARTED FINANCING THIS VEHICAL 3 MOBTHS AGO WHEN I TEST DROVE IT NOTHING WAS WRONG. A WEEK LATER AFTER COMING TO SIGN THE PAPER WORK AND PICK UP THE CAR I WAS INFORMED TGE KEYFOB NO LONGER WORKERED PROPERLY.THEN A WEEK AND A HALF AGO IT HAS A PROBLEM TURNING ON ON WHENEVER IT FEELS LIKE THEN LAST NIGHT GETTING OFF WORK AND PICKING UP MY WIFE AND SON ANYTHING THAT WAS ELECTRICAL WOULD ICKER TO STAY ALIVE (HEAD LIGHTS, STEREO,HEATER,WINDOWS, ECT.) BUT WHAT SCARES ME IS THE TRANSMISSION IN THIS VEHICAL IS FULLY ELECTRIC SO THAT PRESENTS IMMEDIATE DANGER BECAUSE OF THE FACT THE TRANSMISSION CAN SHUT OFF IN MIDDRIVE. COMPLETLY UNSAFE
A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO MY TEMPERATURE GAUGE WAS GOING UP ODDLY FAST AND THEN I WOULD GET TO ALERTS SIMULTANEOUSLY 'ENGINE TEMPERATURE HOT' AND 'SERVICE ELEC. THROTTLE CONTROL' I TURN OFF THE CAR FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THE GAUGE WOULD GO DOWN. I'M NOT SURE HOW CONCERNED I SHOULD BE OR IF THIS IS A COMMON ERROR.
HAD A CONSTANT LEAK OF OIL. TOOK IT IN TO THE DEALER AND IT WAS THE OIL COOLER GASKET HOUSING THAT HAD A LEAK DUE TO A CRACK OR DEFECTIVE GASKET HOUSING. THE OIL COOLER HAD TO BE REPLACE. I HAVE HEARD THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE YEAR AND ENGINE MODEL BY OTHER MECHANICS. HAD TO REPLACE THE OIL COOLER.
IT STOP WHILE IN DRIVE
CAR WILL SLOW ACCELERATE WHEN TRYING TO GAIN SPEED QUICKLY TO PASS OR MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF OTHER CARS. IT WILL NOT ACCELERATE AND UP SHIFT/DOWN SHIFT TO GAIN SPEED QUICKLY. ALMOST GOT HIT A COUPLE OF TIMES BECAUSE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. IT IS ALWAYS IN LOW GEARS AND SPEED TRYING TO GAIN SPEED.
THE AIRBAG INDICATOR IS CONSTANTLY TURNING ON AND OFF SAYING THAT THE AIRBAGS NEEDS TO BE SERVICED.
VEHICLE ABRUPTLY STALLS AND WILL NOT SHIFT WHILE DRIVING. THE SPEED OF THE VEHICLE WILL INCREASE WHILE ON CRUISE CONTROL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BATTERY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE VRAM SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT CALLED PROGRESSIVE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM AT (330) 461-9514 (LOCATED AT 7966 HILLS AND DALES RD NE, MASSILLON, OHIO 44646) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WERE UNAWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
CAR WILL NOT START WHEN PUSHING THE BUTTON. REPLACED BATTERIES KEY FOB. STILL NOT C OK MING ON WITH IGNITION PUSH BUTTON. ALL LIGHTS, WINDOWS, DASH LIGHTS ARE WORKING SO BATTERY IS NOT DEAD. HAVE FOUND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ONLINE WITH SOME ISSUE FROM THIS YEAR MAKE AND MODEL!!!
ON DECEMBER 8TH, THE VEHICLE HAD TURNED OFF ON ME WHILE IN MOTION. IT GAVE ME A SLIGHT CHANCE TO PULL OVER. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES SINCE DECEMBER 8TH. 2 MORE TIMES BEFORE THAT DATE IN 2017 (THE SAME YEAR I GOT THIS CAR) TURNS OUT THERE WAS NO OIL LEFT IN MY CAR, EVEN THOSE MY DASH BOARD SAID THERE WAS 34% OF OIL LEFT. I TOOK THE CAR TO MY MECHANIC TO FIGURE OUT WHY THE OIL WAS RUNNING OUT SO FAST. WHETHER THERE WAS A LEAK OR SOMETHING. TURNS OUT THE PISTON RINGS IN THE CAR ARE BAD, TO FIX THIS HE SAID THE ENGINE WOULD HAVE TO BE TAKEN PART FULLY AND FIXED WHICH COULD ALSO SHOW MORE UNDERLYING ISSUES. (IF ANY)

COMPLAINT - ENGINE WHEN I TRIED TO TURN ON MY CAR IT WOULD NOT CRANK AND IT SAID ENGINE WARMING. BATTERY AND ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. TAKATA RECALL AIR BAG SENSOR KEEPS COMING ON AFTER TAKEN TO CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS. COMES ON AFTER STARTING CAR OR WHEN DRIVING.
I HAVE A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING MY CAR WILL JUST STALL IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC AND NOT MOVE, AIR BAG LIGHT CONTINUES TO COME ON REPEATEDLY. I'VE HAD THIS ISSUE LOOKED AT TWICE BY THE DEALERSHIP. THEY CHARGE ME AND SWEAR IT'S FIXED. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS OCCURRED AND I GET NO ONE WITH THE DEALERSHIP. THE SITUATION IS HORRIFYING AND UNSAFE. I DECIDE TO PLACE A REVIEW SEEING I'M GETTING NOWHERE WITH MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP. I JUST NEED THE ISSUE RESOLVED.
I CAN BE DRIVING IT DOWN THE ROAD IT WILL SHUT IT’S SELF OFF. WILL NOT START FOR ABOUT 15 TO 20 MINUTES. THIS HAPPEND LAST NIGHT AND WHEN IT DID I WAS REAR ENDED. WHEN IT DOES THIS THE BREAKS LOCK UP NO MATTER HOW HARD U PUSH ON THEM THEY WON’T BUDGE. ALSO IT WILL TRY TO START BUT THE ENGINE CRANKS AT A REALLY LOW SPEED BUT AFTER AWHILE TAKES OFF. ALSO IF YOU LET IT WARM UP IT RUNS JUS FINE SOMETIMES. HAD IT PUT ON MACHINE WAS TOLD IT WAS A MAP SENSOR REPLACED IT AND STILL GOT THE SAME PROBLEM. CHANGED BATTERY IN KEY FOB AND CAR BATTERY AND STILL DOING THE SAME THING. SEEN NUMEROUS PEOPLE ON HERE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. AFTER REPLACING ALL THAT TOOK TO PUT BACK ON A MACHINE AND WAS TOLD I CAN’T HELP YOU CAUSE IT’S NOT THROWING ANY CODES WHAT DO I DO I GOT A CAR THAT I STILL OWE ALMOST 14,000 DOLLARS ON THAT IS UNSAFE TO BE DRIVING. THE CAR DOES THIS WHEN IT’S BEING DRIVEN CAN LET SET FOR HOURS AND STAYS RUNNING BUT I CAN’T EVEN MAKE IT 3 BLOCKS WITHOUT IT DYING AND NOT STARTING BACK UP FOR AWHILE. IT’S PATHETIC AS FOR THE DATE AT THE BOTTOM THAT SAYS WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN I’LL PUT IT LIKE THIS IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME I TRY TO GO ANYWHERE IT SHOULD BE RECALLED AND PROPERLY FIXED.
ENGINE LIGHT ON FOR CODE P06DE. 59000 MILES AND COULD BE A FAULTY DUAL STAGE OIL PUMP.
RANDOMLY IF I HIT A BUMP MY AIRBAG LIGHT WILL COME ON. NOW FOR A 2015 200 LIMITED WHY AM I NEEDING TO REPLACE THE WHOLE STARTER ASSEMBLY AND NOW TO HAVE TO REPLACE THE AIR SHUTTER GRILLE. THE VEHICLE HEADLAMPS ARE EXTREMELY POOR. IT'S VERY HARD TO SEE SEE ON ALL HIGHWAYS, SIDE STREETS ETC. NOW THE TRACTION STABILIZERS LIGHT CAME ON AS I WAS BACKING IN TO A PARKING SPACE AS WELL AS MY BRAKES JUST STARTED MAKING A SQUEALING NOISE OUT NO WHERE AS DRIVING ON THE STREET. THERE NO REASON WHY THERE SHOULD NOT BE A RECALL ON MULTIPLE VEHICLE ISSUES AS MOST PEOPLE ARE STATING. WHY ISN'T THERE A NUMBER I CAN CALL TO FILE A COMPLIANT WITH ALL THE VEHICLE ISSUES I'VE EXPERIENCED? THIS JUST CRAZY THEN TO HAVE TO COME OUTTA $1,300.00 FOR VEHICLE REPAIRS IS CRAZY! WHY DOES THIS VEHICLE STALL WHEN THE OIL IS LOW SHAMEFUL FOR THE VEHICLE TO STOP AND AND BARELY START BACK! TIRES SUCKS OUTSIDE MIRRORS ALWAYS HAVE TO ADJUST THIS BRAND IS GARBAGE!! PEOPLE EVERYWHERE IS HAVING ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE STARTING.. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE VEHICLE ISSUES. THERE IS NO REASON WHY THIS VEHICLE IS 3 YEARS OLD AND IS STALLING THIS IS EMBARRASSING. ON TOP OF HAVING TO PAY A NOTE THAT RIDICULOUS. I WANT TO BE COMPENSATED IN THE AMOUNT OF THE VEHICLE REPAIRS.
CYLINDER HEAD FAILURE, NEEDED CYLINDER, VALVE, AND GASKET REPLACED. THE CAR STARTED RUNNING POOR, MISFIRE, ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I REPLACED SPARK PLUGS AND COIL HOPING THAT WOULD FIX THE ISSUE. STILL, MISFIRE WENT TO DEALER HAD WORK DONE. THIS IS A WELL KNOW ISSUE WITH PENTASTAR THEY NEED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE.
TAKATA RECALL, I OWN A 2015 CHRYSLER 200S ONLY 40K MILES. SOMETIMES WHEN I'M DRIVING IT POPS UP WARNINGS FOR MY TRANSMISSION THEN VEGANS DRIVING HORRIBLE. I HIT THE GAS IT STALLS, DIES, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS. THEN NEXT DAY BACK TO NORMAL.
A FEW DAYS AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR THE AIR BAG SENSOR CAME ON . THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE WIRING AND SEATS. THEY WOULDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAVE READ WHERE THE CHRYSLER 200 HAD RECALLED FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM BUT HAVEN'T RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK AND CAME ON WHEN I STARTED THE CAR.
CAR WOULD NOT START SMELLED LIKE IT HAS A ELECTRICAL SHORT. I WENT INTO THE STORE TO PICK UP SO ITEM WHEN I CAN BACK I PRESSED THE START ENGINE BUTTON BUT THE CAR WOULD NOT START. TOW TRUCK DRIVER SAID THAT THE RAIN MAY HAVE CAUSE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT.

THE VEHICLE TO FLIPPED OVER. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED UPON IMPACT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUFFERED SCRAPES AND BRUISES AS A RESULT OF THE VEHICLE FLIPPING OVER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED NOR INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,000.

MY AIRBAG LIGHT STAYS ON PERMANENTLY. IT USED TO COME ON INTERMITTENTLY. I HAVE HAD THE PROBLEM FIXED TWICE BY A CHRYSLER REPAIR FACILITY. I WAS TOLD NOT TO WORRY IT'S JUST A WIRING HARNESS PROBLEM. I'M SCARED BECAUSE I'VE SEEN AIRBAG RECALLS AND I DON'T KNOW WHY MY CAR HASN'T BEEN RECALLED YET. MY CAR ALSO SEEMS TO BE JERKING MORE FREQUENTLY. IT JERKS SOMETIMES WHEN I'M ACCELERATING. I WAS TOLD THIS WAS NORMAL BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF ENGINE. I INQUIRED ABOUT THIS NOT LONG AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR IN 2015. THE JERKING SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON. I CAN PROVIDE INFO THAT MY AIRBAG SENSOR PROBLEM WAS FIXED TWICE.
THE "SERVICE AIR BAG" LIGHT CAME ON IN MY CAR A FEW MONTHS AGO. I RECENTLY GOT IT IN TO GET IT SERVICED AT A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY RAN DIAGNOSTICS AND SAID THAT A HARNESS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IN MY VEHICLE WHICH WOULD COST AROUND $2500. THE PERSON AT THE DEALERSHIP ALSO SAID THAT IT WAS A POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUE. I, UNFORTUNATELY, DO NOT HAVE THE MEANS TO GET THIS REPAIR. MY WARRANTY IS UP AS WELL. THE CAR IS ONLY FOUR YEARS OLD WITH LESS THAN 30,000 MILES ON IT. I DID NOT GET INTO AN ACCIDENT THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED THE AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY OR DO ANY OTHER SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE.
WHEN DRIVING MY CAR OUT OF NOWHERE WITH NO WARNING AS I PROCEED TO DRIVE OFF FROM A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN MY CAR WILL DING AND INSTANTLY AND CUT OFF AT THAT POINT A LIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO CARLOCK CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT OF TUPELO (966 CROSS CREEK DR, SALTILLO, MS 38866, (662) 842-2277), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

I HAVE BEEN HAVING MANY ISSUE WITH THIS CAR THE LATEST ISSUE WHICH JUST HAPPENED MY CAR WOULDN'T TURN ON AND ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH BOARD WOULD TURN ON THE 'SERVICE TRANSMISSION' 'SERIVCE BRAKES' WILL TURN AND THEY WOULD START FLASHING. WHEN I WOULD TRY TO CHANGE GEARS MY NOBE WOULD STAY ON PARK BUT THE NOBE WOULD BE TURNING! I WOULD HAVE TO TURN MY CAR OFF AND ATTEMPT TO TURN IT BACK ON THEN IT WOULD WORK. NOW MY BRAKE IS HARD AND MY NOBE WILL NOT TURN MY CAR STAYED ON NEUTRAL AND NOW WON'T EVEN TURN ON. ALSO BEFORE THAT THE BRAKES SYSTEM ALERT WOULD GO OFF FROM TIME TO TIME. OTHER TIMES MY CAR WOULD TURN OFF OUT OF NOWHERE. OVERALL MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS CAR HAS BEEN BAD.
MY CAR IS SOMETIMES TRYING TO STALL OUT ON THE HIGHWAY AND RURAL ROADS, IT LOOSES A GOOD BIT OF ITS POWER. IT ALSO MAKES JERKING MOVEMENTS WHEN MY FOOT IS STEADY HOLDING THE GAS AT AN EVEN LEVEL. KINDA LIKE IT WOULD IF YOU WERE TAPPING THE GAS AND LETTING OFF THE GAS VERY QUICKLY.
TAMARA RECALL I HAVE A 200S MODEL PURCHASED BRAND NEW. I FIRST STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH THE CAR MAYBE 20,000K MILES IN. WHEN THE CAR IS SITTING IN PARK THE TRANSMISSION SLIPS AND AUTOMATICALLY GOES INTO NEUTRAL, THEN FORCES THE CAR TO BE SET IN PARK. AT THIS POINT THE CAR CANNOT BE MOVED AND JUST SHOWS THE CHECK TRANSMISSION LIGHT. THIS PARTICULAR INCIDENT HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES. ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS THE CAR HAS LOST POWER WHILE IN MOTION, THE CAR ALSO STRUGGLES TO GO INTO THE NEXT GEAR ALMOST DAILY. I HAVE BEEN TO THE SAME CHRYSLER THAT I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM NUMEROUS TIMES. THE FIRST TIME MY COMPUTER NEEDED TO BE UPDATED, THE SECOND TIME IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION MODULE, 3-5 IT WAS AN UPDATE NOW I'M BACK TO THE MODULE ACTING UP. THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT JUST CAME ON AGAIN YESTERDAY, I WAKE UP TODAY AND THE LIGHT IS GONE AND OF COURSE CHRYSLER TELLS ME THE CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT A CODE BEING PRESENT. I'VE LOST SO MANY DAYS OF WORK WITH THIS CAR IT'S RIDICULOUS, AND SINCE THE CAR HOLDS NO VALUE I'M STUCK WITH NEGATIVE EQUITY!!! PLEASE HELP

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE CONTACT REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED HEAD INJURIES THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE CONTACTS' RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESTART AND ALL THE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OF THE AIR BAG FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.

MY TAKATA RECALL IS TO SAY THAT MY CAR WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE AIRBAGS DID NOT FULLY DEPLOY BUT IT SMELLED AS IF THEY DID AND MY CAR INDICATED MY AIR BAGS DEPLOYED BUT THEY DID NOT. MY SEATBELTS ARE NOW STUCK AND I'M NOT SURE IF THE BAGS WILL DEPLOY LATER OR NOT.
WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN AT 5-10 MPH, THE LOWER CONTROL ARM SUSPENSION BROKE FOLDING SIDEWAYS AND CAUSING THE CAR TO BE PULLER LEFT INTO A PARKED CAR WAITING TO MAKE A TURN. FORTUNATELY IT BROKE AT A VERY LOW RATE OF SPEED. THE CAR HAD JUST EXITED A 60 MPH HIGHWAY. THE BODY SHOP STATED THAT CHRYSLER MUST HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE WEAKNESS SINCE THE REPLACEMENT PART IT SIGNIFICANTLY HEAVIER BUILT (SEE PHOTO).
MY AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF, MOST OF THE TIME IT STAYS ON THOUGH. ALSO, THE CAR WILL DIE AFTER DRIVING AND WILL STALL WHILE DRIVING. IT ALSO APPEARS THAT THERE ARE SOME SORT OF ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THE CAR AND THE GEARS SHIFT STRANGE, SOMETIMES THROWING ME FORWARD WHILE DRIVING.
"TAKATA RECALL" MY CAR SHUTS DOWN WHILE DRIVING WHICH IS A BIG PROBLEM BECAUSE MY CHILDREN IS THE CAR. ALSO WHEN I PUSH THE GAS IT STALLS THEN IT TURN OVER .
THERE'S BEEN AN ISSUE WITH MY ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS FOR ABOUT THE LAST TWO YEARS. IT'S BEEN GIVING A COUPLE OF SIGNALS OF WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE BUT THERE HASN'T BEEN ANYTHING RELATED TO THAT ISSUE( AIRBAG SERVICE NEEDED, STEERING SENSOR) AND IT HAS BEEN DRAINING MY BATTERY DOWN AND MY BATTERY IS NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD. IT HAD TO BE REPLACED LAST YEAR BECAUSE OF THAT, LUCKILY IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY. BUT I'VE HEARD OF THESE ISSUES FROM THE PAST THAT IT'S A POSSIBLE RECALL.
AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY. DEALER SAYS THAT WHEN THE LIGHT IS ON, THE AIRBAGS WILL NOT DEPLOY. DEALER SAYS THAT CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND THAT FIXING IT WOULD COST $2,900, BUT THAT CHRYSLER ALSO CAN DO AND "OVERLAY" (I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS) FOR $165 PER SEAT THAT MIGHT MAKE THE PROBLEM GO AWAY, BUT THE ONLY GUARANTEED FIX IS THE $2,900 OPTION. OBVIOUSLY THE $2,900 OPTION IS COST PROHIBITIVE SO AFTER WE WENT WITH THE $165 OPTION, THE PROBLEM STILL REMAINS.

WHEN DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE RPMS INCREASED BEFORE THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY LUNGED FORWARD. ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT WARNING. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WAS NOT DETERMINED. FALKNER CHRYSLER (6643 CARLISLE PIKE, MECHANICSBURG, PA) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE BOTH NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
ACTIVE GRILL SHUTTER ERROR CODE. AGS SHUTTERS ARE EASILY BROKEN, THESE SHUTTERS ARE NOT MEANT TO WITHSTAND OHIO WINTERS. A SMALL AMOUNT OF ICE BUILD UP CAUSED THE SHUTTERS TO BRAKE AND/OR GOT STUCK CLOSED. I'VE HAD TO REMOVE THE AGS COMPLETLEY TO DISCOVER EVERY SHUTTER WAS BROKE. WITHOUT THE AGS WORKING CORRECTLY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON 100% OF THE TIME AND THE AUTOMATIC CAR STARTER IS CANCELED OUT. IT WAS A NORMAL WINTER DAY WHEN I DISCOVERED THE PROBLEM. MY CAR WAS STATIONARY AND THE DRIVEWAY.

DURING NORMAL DRIVING THE CAR STALLS CAUSING A SAFETY CONCERN FOR REAR END IMPACT WHILE AIRBAG LIGHT MAY BE ON THAT MAY CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH. THIS MATTER SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND CORRECTIVE MEASURES TAKEN. AFTER READING TESTIMONIALS ABOUT OTHER 2015 CHRYSLER 200 OWNERS' THERE OBVIOUSLY IS A PATTERN WITH SAFETY CONCERNS.

THE CAR STALLS WHILE DRIVING, WHEN COMING TO A STOP OR WHEN SITTING STILL, IT DOES NOT SEEM TO DO IT AFTER THE VEHICLE WARMS UP, ALSO WHEN IT STALLS IT IS DOES NOT WANT TO START RIGHT AWAY. SOMETIMES TAKING SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO GET IT STARTED. IT STARTED MID OCTOBER AND HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE.
TWICE IN ONE WEEK MY CAR STALLED AND QUITE ONCE WHILE DRIVING ON A MAIN ROAD WITH MILD/MODERATE TRAFFIC. THE SECOND TIME WAS WHILE STATIONARY IN A PARKING LOT ATTEMPTING TO PUT MY CAR IN REVERSE. THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT WILL POP ON AND OFF PERIODICALLY AND THE SERVICE PARKING BREAK LIGHT AND THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT WILL COME ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE DURING THE FIRST RECALL FOR THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE CAR WILL STALL AND I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF TO PUT IT IN PARK. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN EVERY TIME I CRANK THE CAR, BUT OFTEN ENOUGH FOR MY CONCERN.
ON OCTOBER 10TH AND 12TH MY CAR SLOWLY STARTED SHUTTING DOWN WHILE DRIVING AND GAVE AN ERROR MESSAGE TO "SHIFT TO P AND PRESS START" I DID THIS AND THE CAR STARTED UP AGAIN AND CONTINUED TO RUN. ON OCTOBER 15TH ON MY DRIVE TO WORK THIS HAPPENED AGAIN, THANK GOODNESS I WAS ON A SIDE STREET SO I COULD PULL OVER TO GET THE CAR STARTED AGAIN. IT STARTED AFTER A FEW TRIES AND I MADE IT BACK HOME BUT THE CAR COMPLETELY DIED IN MY DRIVEWAY. NOTHING WORKED NOT EVEN THE UNLOCK BUTTONS FOR THE PASSENGER DOORS. I TAKE A MAJOR INTERSTATE TO WORK AND COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY HURT HAD I MADE IT THAT FAR THIS MORNING OR HURT OTHERS. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, I HAVE READ PLENTY OF OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME MODEL OF CAR DOING THIS EXACT SAME THING. MY CAR ONLY HAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000 MILES ON IT.
TAKATA RECALL MY VEHICLE SHUT DOWN ON ME LAST NIGHT WHILE DRIVING FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME SINCE I'VE HAD IT. I'VE CONTACTED CHRYSLER BUT OF COURSE THEY ACT AS IF THEY KNOW NOTHING. I GOT SERVICED FOR TWO RECALLS ONE IN 2016AND THE OTHER 2017 AND NEITHER HAVE REMEDIED THE ISSUE. THERE IS NO CODE, NO LIGHTS COME ON OR ANYTHING. THE ONLY WARNING WARNING THAT I GET IS FOR ME TO PUT IT IN PARK IN ORDER TO RESTART IT. I'LL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER CHRYSLER IN MY LIFE.
