When taking vehicle for test drive about a month ago, the check engine light was on and after driving it, i noticed when AC was on and when off, the car loses power. When i go to pull out it has no power and i almost got hit in the side every time i would pull out from a busy highway. They had check engine light looked at and they said computer told them it was air valve leak or something like that. I had appointment for them to further assist and they said they could not find anything wrong. I can hear where the valve might be leaking at. The brakes are not good. I had to put on the brakes today fast and brake pedal acted like they were gonna skid out from under my foot. Brakes are new so why is it acting like i have no brakes and there is barley any acceleration. Something is going on and i don't want to be in a car accident just because our warnings are being over looked.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
WHILE DRIVING SLOW, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND WENT ALL THE WAY DOWN WITH NO BRAKING EFFECT. A COMPLETE LOSS OF HYDRAULIC RESISTANCE AND STOPPING CAPACITY. IF THIS VEHICLE HAD BEEN ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH WITH AN EMERGENCY SIMI TRUCK PANIC STOPPING IN FRONT OF THIS VEHICLE, THE DRIVER WOULD NOT SURVIVE. WITH THIS HAPPENING TO THIS VEHICLE THIS MAY BE A RARE EVENT, BUT IF I DID NOT REPORT THIS , IT WOULD BE NEGLECT ON MY PART. *TR

THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE MODULE TRANSMITTERS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS JERKING AND THE ABS WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ABS MODULE NEEDED TO BE RESET. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V567000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
WHILE COMING TO A CONTROLLED STOP AT AN INTERSECTION W.4TH ST & TRIMBLE RD MANSFIELD, OHIO THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT BANG AND A SHARP CHANGE IN THE CARS DYNAMIC. THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL LOCKED UP CAUSING A SCREECHING SKID. I OBSERVED A DEFLATED TIRE. UPON CHANGING THE TIRE THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE ALUMINUM RIM AS IF AN EXPLOSION HAD OCCURRED. A VISIBLE LARGE GAPING HOLE COULD BE SEEN IN THE WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ROLL FORWARD FREELY, HOWEVER IT WOULD ROLL FREELY IN REVERSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO CHAR'S CARS ST RT 39 MANSFIELD OHIO WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED APPROXIMATELY 3 DAYS AGO.....AFTER CONFERRING WITH THEIR SERVICE MANAGER [XXX], HE STATED THAT THE BOLTS ON THE CALIPER SHEARED OFF. THIS RAISES GREAT CONCERN FOR THE SAFETY OF MYSELF AND OTHERS. THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED FOR MY SON WHOM IS IN THE US MILITARY AND WOULD BE DRIVING OVER 456 MI BACK TO HIS BASE......PLEASE COME INVESTIGATE! A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THE CONTACT SUFFERED A CONCUSSION. DUE TO THE CONTACTS INJURIES, THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE OF THE FULL DETAILS OF OF THE CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A TOWING COMPANY LOT BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40,800.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHRYSLER 300C. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE DURING BRAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS FOR THE SAME FAILURE WHERE THE FRONT BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED EACH TIME. ON THE THIRD RECURRENCE, THE FRONT ROTORS WERE RESURFACED WITH THE REPLACEMENT OF THE FRONT BRAKE PADS. THE FAILURE RECURRED AFTER 11,000 MILES. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED FOR THE MOST RECENT FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THEY INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS RELATED TO THE PROBLEM. FRONT BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS ARE VIBRATING SEVERELY, I HAD THE PADS & ROTORS REPLACED BY THE DEALER AND WITHIN 30 DAYS THE PROBLEM WAS BACK. EVERYTIME THE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED I HEAR NOISE FROM THE FRONT OF THE CAR PLUS SHAKING. *TR
I HAD SEVERAL COMPLETE BRAKE JOBS TO GET RID OF THE SWILLING AND NOISE FROM THE BRAKES WHEN I STOP. NONE OF THE THINGS THAT I HAD DONE BY THE DEALERSHIP FIXED THE PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP STATED I HAD TO LIVE WITH THE PROBLEM. I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM TODAY. I HAVE OTHER FRIENDS WITH CHRYSLER THAT STATES THEY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY HOW THE CONTACT WAS STOPPING THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE DEALER CHANGED THE BRAKE PAD AND ROTOR AGAIN, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000.
