MAY 2014 MY AIRBAG LIGHT KEPT COMING ON I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY CHARGE ME 306.00 TO REPAIR THE CLOCK SPRING.NOW ON MARCH THE 26TH 2015 THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN.I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER ON MARCH 26TH AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO PAY 763.44 FOR SOMETHING WITH THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. MY CAR WAS BOUGHT IN 2008 AND IT HAS 59 THOUSAND 700 SOMETHING MILES .I'VE NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE THE AIRBAG CAME OUT. SO THERE HAS TO BE A DEFECT SOMEWHERE. *TR

THE VEHICLE REGAINED POWER, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V567000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE PART NEEDED TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER AND REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V567000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKES BUT THE VEHICLE DID NOT STOP UNTIL CRASHING. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THE CONTACT SUFFERED A CONCUSSION. DUE TO THE CONTACTS INJURIES, THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE OF THE FULL DETAILS OF OF THE CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A TOWING COMPANY LOT BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40,800.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHRYSLER 300. WHEN DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE SPEEDOMETER BEGAN FUNCTIONING ERRATICALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE SPEEDOMETER WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,964.
MOTOR OF THE FAN HEATER MAKE A BIG NOISE, WILL BE REPLACE UNDER WARRANTY. *TR
15 SECONDS AFTER STARTING THE CAR AT 7:45 AM THE ENGINE STOPPED WITH A BIG METALLIC NOISE. CALLED CHRYSLER ASSISTANCE AND 20 MINUTES AFTER THE TOWING ARE HERE AND ANOTHER 20 MINUTES LATE, THE CAR ARRIVES AT THE DEALER GARAGE. THEY CALLED ME AFTERNOON AND TOLD ME THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE WATER PUMP BLOCKED AND CAUSING THE TIMING BELT PROBLEM. THEY REPLACED THE WATER PUMP AND TIMING BELT THE SAME DAY UNDER WARRANTY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT OPENED THE REAR TRUNK LID. THE TRUNK LID INDEPENDENTLY CLOSED ON THE CONTACT RESULTING INJURIES TO THE HEAD, NECK AND SHOULDER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THEY ADVISED THAT THE TRUNK PROPS WERE DEFECTIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNAVAILABLE.
TIE RODS ONE BOTH FRONT WHEELS WORE OUT PREMATURELY AT 39,000 MILES. PREMATURE WEAR ALSO CAUSED PREMATURE TIRE WEAR AND SHAKING OF STEERING WHEEL WHEN DRIVING ABOVE 40 MILES PER HOUR. HAD THE ISSUE FIXED AND THE TIRES REPLACED, ONLY TO HAVE THE TIE RODS WEAR OUT AGAIN AT 57,000 MILES. NO OTHER ISSUE WAS FOUND TO BE WRONG WITH THE CAR. THE REPLACEMENT TIE RODS WEAR OEM. SECOND REPLACED TIE RODS WERE AFTERMARKET. *TR

THE KEY COMES OUT OF THE IGNITION WHILE I AM DRIVING. NOW MY CAR DOESN'T START AT ALL. I WAS TOLD I NEEDED A WIN MODULE AND IT IS NOW ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER BC SO MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS IS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD LOOK INTO THIS PROBLEM. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
THE LENGTH OF THE WEBBING ON THE BUCKLE STALK IS TOO LONG TO PROPERLY INSTALL A CAR SEAT. AN APPROVED METHOD TO PROPERLY INSTALL A CAR SEAT IN THIS SITUATION IS TO TWIST THE BUCKLE. IF THIS IS DONE IT PUTS THE BUCKLE IN THE BELT PATH OF A FORWARD FACING SEAT. WHILE TIGHTENING THE BELT THE LOCKING LATCHPLATE BROKE. IT IS VERY LIGHTWEIGHT. ANOTHER INCIDENT OCCURED WITH ANOTHER DODGE THE NEXT WEEK WITH ANOTHER TECH.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHRYSLER 300LX. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING SERVICE HE NOTICE THAT THE CRASH IMPACT BUMPER WAS MISSING. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED USED IN DECEMBER 2009. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND EXPLAINED THAT THE CRASH IMPACT BUMPER WAS MISSING AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT HE BOUGHT THE VEHICLE AS IS. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,290 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 83,257.

THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT WOULD ILLUMINATE INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A TIRE CENTER TO REPLACE THE TIRES WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE SENSORS WERE DEFECTIVE. HE WAS REFERRED TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE HE ORDERED THE SENSORS WHICH HE HAD BEEN WAITING ON FOR 2 MONTHS AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 41,173. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 40,000.
I BOUGHT A NEW CHRYSLER 300 IN 2008. THE 300 IS HAVING VERY MAJOR ISSUES IN JULY 10, 2010 / SEPTEMBER 09 , 2011 / SEPTEMBER 04 2012 / AUGUST 12 , 2013/ , JUNE 2014 / SEPTEMBER 2014 THE 300 HAD TO BE TOWED MANY TIMES BECAUSE THE CAR WILL NOT START; THIS CAR WAS SHUTTING DOWN WHILE DRIVING WHAT IS VERY DANGEROUS AND SCARY ; WHEN WE PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL THE CAR MIGHT RESTART, WE HAD SOME VERY UNSAFE DRIVING CONCERNS AT THIS TIME WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STALLING REPETITIVELY ANYWHERE (FREEWAY, REGULAR STREET, WHEN DRIVING SLOW, FAST), WE WERE TOLD IT WAS DUE TO A FAULTY IGNITION MODULE AND 6 TIMES WE CAME TO CHRYSLER IT WAS SOMETHING RELATED TO A FAULTY IGNITION WE KEPT DRIVING THE 300 NOT FEELING SAFE , THE CAR STALLS ANYTIME ,ANYWHERE , THE DEALERSHIP SEEMS UNABLE TO FIX THE ISSUE . MY WIFE WHO MAINLY DROVE THE CAR DECIDED TO LET ME DRIVE THE 300 BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT FEELING SAFE DRIVING WITH THE KIDS SCARED TO GET INTO A CAR ACCIDENT BECAUSE THE ENGINE NEVER STOPPED SHUTTING DOWN ANYWHERE SHE DRIVES ( FREEWAY, STREET) THE IGNITION ISSUE IS CONSISTENT 1 YEAR APART ,JULY 2010,SEPTEMBER 2011,SEPTEMBER 2012 , AUGUST 2013 JUNE 014 ,SEPTEMBER 2014 , I AM CERTAIN IF NOTHING SERIOUSLY IS DONE I WILL CONTACT YOU AGAIN NEXT YEAR FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THIS FAULTY IGNITION ISSUE MUST BE FIX PERMANENTLY AT CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP COST; MY FAMILY IS NOT SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR; ; THE DEALERSHIP IS WELL AWARE OF THE ISSUE FOR MANY YEARS NOW BUT THEY IGNORE US. MY 2008 CHRYSLER 300 HAD RECEIVED TWO NOTICES FOR RECALL,1 FOR THE IGNITION SWITCH AND 1 FOR THE AIRBAG/ I CALLED CHRYSLER CORPORATE FOR AN UPDATE FOR THE IGNITION SWITCH RECALL WHICH I RECEIVED ABOUT 10 MONTHS AGO AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS NO ESTIMATED DATE WHEN THE PART WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AND I WILL HAVE TO WAIT ;AFTER MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS I ASKED FOR THEM TO GIVE ME A RENTAL CAR IN ORDER TO DRIVE IN A SAFE CAR WHILE THEY WILL KEEP MY CAR AND FIX THE IGNITION AND THE AIRBAG ISSUE BUT I WAS DENIED THE RENTAL CAR AND WAS TOLD I WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE ISSUE ,THEY WILL NOT RENT A CAR FOR MY FAMILY AND THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY ESTIMATE WHEN THE IGNITION PART WILL BE AVAILABLE;EVEN IF I INSISTED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY AND THE FACT A RECALL FOR THE AIRBAG WAS IN TO, THEY DID NOT CARE ;I WENT TO THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP TOO AND THE RESPONSE WAS THE SAME ,IT LOOKS THEY ARE ON THE SAME PAGE;NO RENTAL CAR FOR ME AND AS THEY INSINUATED TO ME IF WE GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT " THOUGH LUCK"/ I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO NOW ; I TRIED TO CONTACT CHRYSLER CORPORATE MULTIPLE TIMES,. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V313000 (AIR BAGS) AND WAS WAITING FOR THE PART TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 127,000.
ABOUT A MONTH BEFORE THE MAJOR INCIDENT MY CAR WINDOWS WOULDN'T GO DOWN AND THE CAR DID NOT START RIGHT AWAY...THEN THE DAY IT JUST DIED I WENT TO START IT AND THE WARNING LIGHT SAID IT WAS ELECTRICAL.. I GOT THE BOOK OUT AND THE CODE SHOWED YOU HOW TO OVERRIDE THE COMPUTER IN THE CAR BY REBOOTING IT..IT DIDN'T WORK SO OFF MY CAR WENT IN A FLATBED.. $500 LATER I WAS TOLD THAT THE COMPUTER IN THE CAR WAS BROKEN. I ALSO HAD TO BUY A NEW FOB KEY BECAUSE IT NOW HAD A NEW COMPUTER TO 'RECOGNIZE" THE CAR'S ELECTRONICS BASICALLY. AND SINCE THEN THERE HAS BEEN SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS LEMON ALL THE TIME. *TR
I HAD BEEN COMPLAINING FOR TWO YEARS ABOUT A TICKING SOUND IN THE ENGINE. I WAS TOLD BY GINN CHRYSLER THAT IT WAS NOTHING. THE VEHICLE USED TO TRY TO CUT OFF WHILE RUNNING. FINALLY, ON MOTHER'S DAY (2010) JUST LEAVING HARD ROCK HOLLYWOOD CASINO WHILE DRIVING ON THE FLORIDA TURNPIKE AT APPROX. 70 MPH; THE ENGINE COMPLETELY CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF HEAVY THRUWAY TRAFFIC. WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE CLOSE TO AN OFF RAMP AND COASTED TO A STOP ON THE SHOULDER OF THE EXIT RAMP.. WE HAD TO REMAIN THERE FOR 3 HOURS UNTIL SOMEONE WAS KIND ENOUGH TO PICK US UP AND TAKE US HOME. MY 83 YEAR OLD MOTHER-IN-LAW HAD TO STAND UP FOR A FEW HOURS UNTIL WE WERE PICKED-UP. THE ENGINE HAD TO BE REPLACED FOR $2450.23. A FEW MONTHS LATER, AFTER RECEIVING THE NEW ENGINE, THE VEHICLE WOULD HAVE DIFFICULTY STARTING FOR FOUR YEARS. IT SEEMED TO WANT TO CUT OFF AGAIN. I REPORTED THIS TO MASSEY AND DADELAND CHRYSLER AND WAS FINALLY TOLD AFTER A FREE 24 POINT INSPECTION DURING A OIL CHANGE THAT IT WAS THE TIPM. NOW, ON 11/20/2014, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS THE FOBIK IN A RECALL LETTER. AFTER BEING TOLD OF THE NUMEROUS SAFETY PROBLEMS, I COULD NOT DRIVE THE CAR FOR FEAR OF HARMING THE PUBLIC OR MYSELF AND MY PASSENGERS. I CANNOT DRIVE THIS VEHICLE UNTIL IT IS REPAIRED. AFTER THE THIRD INCIDENT, I TOOK THE CAR IN, THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES AT THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG. THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THESE CARS SHOULD HAVE A HUGH RED WARNING STICKER ON THE DASH TO WARN PROSPECTIVE DRIVERS THAT THIS FEATURE IS NOT SAFE TO USE IN THE WIND AND ON ICE.
