WE WERE HIT BY A CAR AND THE CAR DID NOT DEPLOY THE AIR BAGS AND IT CUT OFF AND ALL THE ELECTRICAL SHUT DOWN AND THE CAR IGNITION GOT STUCK AND HAD TO BE TURNED OVER SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE IT WOULD START. I WAS TOLD THE PROBLEM CAME FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH. *TR

I FEEL THIS IS NOT THE RESPONSE THE PUBLIC SHOULD GET EVERY TIME WE CALL A CHRYSLER DEALER. I TRIED TO CRANK UP MY CAR AND IT STARTED SMOKING AND I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED HOME. HOWEVER, IT STARTED TURNING OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING BACK IN FEB OF 2013. *TR

ALL LIGHTS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIRES FROM THE IGNITION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT ONE WEEK LATER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START AND THE KEY WAS INSERTED INTO THE IGNITION BUT THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V567000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ) HOWEVER, THE PART NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.

I GOT A RECALL ALMOST A YEAR AGO FOR THE IGNITION SWITCH AND ABOUT A MONTH OR SO AGO FOR THE AIR BAG. CHRYSLER HAS TOLD ME NEITHER PART IS AVAILABLE. MY CAR MAY START AND IT MAY NOT START FOR MONTHS. IT'S BEEN TOWED SEVERAL TIMES AFTER NOT STARTING WHILE OUT OR GETTING OFF WORK LATE. I FEEL CHRYSLER HAVE PUT ME IN SOME VERY DANGEROUS SITUATIONS OF BEING STRANDED. I DON'T AND CAN'T DRIVE MY CAR BECAUSE OF THE RECALLS. I PAY FOR INSURANCE ON A CAR I CAN'T DRIVE. I FEEL THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD BUY MY CAR BACK BECAUSE IT IS NO USE TO ME AND VERY INCONVENIENT. I PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR YOUR PRODUCT AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. SHAME ON YOU CHRYSLER CORPORATION!!!!!!!
MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS TO CHRYSLER AROUND NOVEMBER 2014 REGARDING MY CAR CUTTING OFF AND PERIODICALLY NOT STARTING.I RECEIVED A RECALL FROM THE FCA AROUND THAT SAME TIME FOR "WIN MODULE AND FREQUENCY OPERATED BUTTON IGNITION KEY (FOBIK'S P57".. I HAVE A 5 YR. LOAN ON MY CAR AND CHRYSLER ASSURED ME THAT THIS ISSUE WOULD BE RESOLVED. I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM CHRYSLER MANUFACTURE CUSTOMER SERVICE/FIELD OPERATIONS IN AUGUST 2015 STATING THAT BOTH RECALL PARTS HAD COME IN AND I WAS TO CONTACT MY NEAREST DEALER. WELL, THE NHTSA 14V-567 AIRBAG HAD COME IN. IT HAS BEEN CORRECTED.THANK YOU, BUT ALTHOUGH THAT IS ALSO A SERIOUS ISSUE, WHAT IS GIVING ME A PROBLEM IS THE CUTOFF & START. MY FAMILY & I FEEL UNSAFE! NOT TO MENTION NOT BEING ABLE TO HAVE A CAR THAT I CAN DEPEND ON. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS HASN'T BEEN CORRECTED. IT APPEARS TO BE GETTING WORSE. GETTING OFF OF THE BELTWAY AND THE CAR STOPPED. LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO PULL ON THE SIDE AND RESTART THE CAR. IT HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST FOUR OTHER TIMES. ONCE PULLING OUT OF A GAS STATION INTO TRAFFIC, SITTING AT A RED LIGHT AND DRIVING ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR ON A RESIDENTIAL ROAD. THIS IS NOT SAFE. CHRYSLER HAS ISSUED A RECALL WITH NO PART ON HAND YET TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND MEANWHILE AN 82 YEAR OLD WOMAN HAS TO DRIVE HER CAR NEVER KNOWING WHEN IT WILL JUST SHUT DOWN. CHRYSLER IS MAKING NO ATTEMPT AT OFFERING RENTAL CARS OR AS I SEE IT GETTING THE PART TO THE DEALERS TO FIX IT. WHY SHOULD THE OWNER INCUR RENTAL FEES BECAUSE THIS CAR IS COMPLETELY UNSAFE TO DRIVE.? I WOULD LIKE SOME ANSWERS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
