The contact stated while his son was driving 45 mph, with his wife seated in the passenger’s side seat, the rear driver side wheel inadvertently locked up and the vehicle stalled. Several warning lights including the ABS warning light were illuminated. The contact stated when the vehicle was shifted into reverse, the rear driver’s side wheel unlocked, and they were able to veer to the side of the road. The contact stated that he drove the vehicle to his residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 108,000.
CHRYSLER ASPEN 2008, PROBLEM WITH ABS WHEN ROADS ARE WET. ABS LOCKED LEFT FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL MAKING THE TRUCK SPING CLOCKCOUNTER WISE. IT HAPPEN TWICE TO MY WIFE, AND THE THIRD TIME HAPPENED TO ME AND HER. I REPORTED TO CHRYSLER BUT THEY REJECT THE CLAIM AFTER THEY SEND AN ENGINEER TO INSPECT THE TRUCK. THEY BLAMING THE BACK TIRES BEEN WORN OUT.
BACK IN APRIL 02, 2010 I FILLED A COMPLAIN AND AS OF RIGHT NOW WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE FOR YOUR DEPARTMENT. (ODI#10323492) AS THE RAINING START HAPPENING AGAIN HERE WE HAVE A SERIOUS CONCERN FOR OUR LIFE WHILE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE. THE PROBLEM WITH OUR VEHICLE IS THAT THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL LOCKED AND THE SUB START SPINNING LEFTWISE. IT HAPPENED THREE TIMES ON FEBRUARY. I REPORTED TO CHRYSLER ON MARCH 02, 2010, THEY SENT AN INSPECTOR AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH IT, THE CLAIMED OUR BACK TIRES WERE WARNED OUT. WE STRONGLY BELIEVED SINCE HAPPENED THREE TIMES TO US THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS TRUCK ON A WET WEATHER AND NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO A RECALL OR SOME KIND OF AN ALERT. *TR
