TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FIELD OF VISION WAS LIMITED BECAUSE THE PLASTIC COVERS ON THE HEAD LAMPS WERE SEVERELY FOGGED UP. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHEN THE VEHICLE WHILE STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. SEEMS CHRYSLER HAS STOP PRODUCING THE FRONT TURN SIGNALS FOR THIS CAR AND CANNOT FIND AFTERMARKET PARTS FOR IT. I'M TOLD THAT 7 YEARS AFTER THE CAR LEAVES PRODUCTION THAT THE PRODUCTION OF THE PARTS ARE STOPPED. I CANNOT GOT TO MERCEDES SINCE IT DOES NOT HAVE A MERCEDES PART NUMBER AND ANY CROSS REFERENCE NUMBER THAT IS GIVEN DOES NOT WORK FOR MERCEDES. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. *TR
LATE MODEL CARS OF ALL MAKES HAVE THESE CLEAR PLASTIC HEAD LAMPS THAT TURN DISCOLORED AND YELLOW AND DO NOT ILLUMINATE PROPERLY AFTER A FEW YEARS AND ARE VERY EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE. THE AUTO MANUFACTURERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE A HEADLIGHT THAT LASTS FOR A VERY LONG TIME, NOT 4, 5 OR 6 YEARS. HOW COME TAIL LAMPS AND DIRECTIONAL LIGHT DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM? *TR
