TL * THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE DRIVER EXPERIENCED VIBRATION FROM THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WHICH WAS CAUSED BY DEFECTIVE CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS. HE EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS AND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP THREE TIMES TO HAVE THE BUSHINGS REPAIRED. HOWEVER, THE CONTACT STILL EXPERIENCED THE PROBLEM EVEN AFTER THE THREE REPAIRS. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 51,000. UPDATED 6/21/10 *CN UPDATED 07/19/10*JB
CONSUMER'S VEHICLE REAR END ANOTHER VEHICLE IN FRONT AT 30 MPH. DRIVER'S SEAT BELT FAIL TO HOLD THE DRIVER. DRIVER SUSTAINED HEAD AND BACK INJURIES. CONSUMER'S FATHER TRANSPORTED HIM TO THE LOCAL HOSPITAL. DEALER WAS NOTIFIED.*AK
NEW 2005 PT CRUISER GT CONVERTIBLE PURCHASED 5/15/04. TO DATE, VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE FOR SAME DEFECT 4 TIMES, ONCE TOWED. VEHICLE NON-OPERATIONAL 14 DAYS AND NON-SERVICEABLE, PART NOW THOUGHT TO BE THE DEFECT IS ON NATIONAL BACKORDER WITH NO REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF DELIVERY. VEHICLE UNSAFE, FAILING IN INTERSECTIONS AND ON HIGHWAYS.*AK
LEATHER BOOT FOR COVER OF CONVERTIBLE TOP DAMAGED INSIDE AT TIME OF PURCHASE, ORDERED NEW ONE FROM DEALER AND RECEIVED ANOTHER DAMAGED ONE. CHRYSLER SAYS ALL OF THEM ARE LIKE THAT, AND WILL NOT REPLACE IT AGAIN!
2005 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER VEHICLE WITH A RECALL FOR REAR QUARTER GLASS. CONSUMER STATES THAT IN MAY SHE ORDERED THE PARTS TO GET THE RECALL REPAIR AND SHE CALLED TO SEE IF THEY WERE IN AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CONTACT HER. CONSUMER WANTS TO KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY RECALLS FOR THE FRONT WHEEL BEARING ON THEIR 2005 PT CRUISER. *NJ WHILE DRIVING RECENTLY, THE CONSUMER AND HIS WIFE FELT A VIBRATION IN THE FLOOR. THE CONSUMER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND DISCOVERED THE FRONT WHEEL BEARING WAS DEFECTIVE. *JB
