NHTSA Owner Complaint Log
This page lists owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA for the 2023 Chrysler Voyager. Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA and do not by themselves prove a defect or defect rate.
The contact owns a 2023 Chrysler Voyager. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V302000 (AIR BAGS); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
This van was converted by FR Conversion that is a ADA van outfitter, the rear ramp install covers the factory emergency release switch. The rear lift gate would not work automatically and there was no way to reach factory install emergency release trapping the client in the van. When buying a van they state this is a "add on" and not standard in their build outs. FMVSS 401does not cover vans, nor does NHTSA cover minivans in the emergency release/emergency exit. This is alarming and safety should not be an additional "revenue generator" for a company when dealing with someone's life. I would be honored to speak with someone on the matter.
It has a recall, and I've taken it to the dealer three times, but they don't have the part.
