IGNITION STICKS ON INITIAL DAILY START UP AND AFTER SITTING FOR SEVERAL HOURS WITHOUT BEING RAN. THERE IS ALSO A WHINING NOISE COMING FROM FRONT END WHEN VEHICLE IS FIRST DRIVEN AND SUBSEQUENTLY AFTER IT SITS FOR SEVERAL HOURS. IT HAS BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE FOR BOTH ISSUES. DEALER COULDN'T DUPLICATE. *TR
2011 DODGE CALIBER 2.0. HAS STALLED 5 TIMES WHILE DRIVING. JUST STOPS! THE IGNITION STICKS AS WELL. THIS CAR ONLY HAS 1200 MILES ON IT. THE STALLING OCCURS JUST WHILE DRIVING - NO SPECIFIC WARNING..JUST SHUTS DOWN. *KB
WAS DRIVING CAR , TOOK A LEFT HAND TURN AND CAR DIED IN MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION , HAD ENOUGH MOMENTUM TO CARRY CAR THROUGH INTERSECTION SO THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT. THE CAR STARED RIGHT BACK UP SEEMED FINE. THE A/C WAS ON BUT THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE AN EFFECT ON IT. THE CAR DID THE SAME THING 3 DAYS BEFORE THIS AND I WAS NOT TURNING , I WAS STOPPING BEHIND A CAR THAT WAS TURNING. EACH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED THE A/C WAS ON AND IT WAS WITHIN 5 MILES OF FIRST STARTING THE CAR. I DID NOTICE THE RPM DROP AND THEN IT SEEMED LIKE TO CATCH ITSELF AND REV BACK UP. SEEMS LIKE IT IS RELATED TO THE TORQUE CONVERTER IN THE TRANSMISSION OR WITH THE PROGRAMMING OF THE ECU. BRINGING IT TO DEALER FIRST THING IN AM.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE CALIBER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 45 MPH WHEN THE POWER OF STEERING SEIZED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE AND DECIDED TO PERFORM A SOFTWARE UPDATE AS A TEMPORARY FIX. THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE AND FILED A REPORT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 700.
2011 DODGE CALIBER HAS STALLED THREE TIMES AND STARTER HAS REMAINED ENGAGED WHEN STARTING VEHICLE IN THE TIMESPAN OF ONE WEEK SINCE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED APPROX. THREE WEEKS AGO. VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SERVICE DEPT. FOR ONE WEEK AND NO RESOLUTION HAS BEEN MADE. *KB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE CALIBER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKES WERE EXHIBITING A LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE BRAKES PADS WERE GROUND, BUT THE REPAIR DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE WAS COMMON BUT THERE WAS NO REMEDY FOR THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,860 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE 3,200.
WHILE MAKING A SLOW SPEED RIGHT TURN (INTO OUR DRIVEWAY) THE STEERING LOCKED/ CAR STALLED. THE VEHICLE IS A ONE WEEK OLD 2011 DODGE CALIBER WITH 516 MIS ON IT. THE SAME THING OCCURRED ABOUT THREE DAYS AGO WHEN MAKING A SLOW RIGHT HAND TURN A DIFFERENT LOCATION. NORMAL FUNCTION RETURNED AFTER TURNING OFF AND RESTARTING THE CAR EACH TIME. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THIS FAILURE, BUT THERE WAS NO FIX AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 900.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE CALIBER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 20 MPH WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF WHEN RESTARTED, THE STEERING WAS RESET. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER WHO REPLACED THE COMPUTER BU THE FAILURE RECURRED WITHIN ONE WEEK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE COMPUTER A SECOND TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE COULD QUALIFY FOR A BUY-BACK PROGRAM BUT THE FAILURE WOULD HAVE TO RECUR AT LEAST FOUR TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS BEING REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,600. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,200 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
THE 2011 DODGE CALIBER I PURCHASED HAD SEVEN (7) MILES ON IT WHEN I TEST DROVE IT. THE VEHICLE HAS STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AT THE STOP LIGHT AND WHILE IN MOTION. MOST OF THE STALLS WERE EXPERIENCED AFTER MAKING A TURN. IT HAS STALLED FIVE TIMES. I HAVE NOT REACHED THIRTY DAYS OF OWNERSHIP. THE IGNITION SWITCH HAS STUCK WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE AT LEAST EIGHT TIMES. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN FOR SERVICE TWICE. THE DEALERSHIPS STATED THEY ARE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE STALL OR THE IGNITION STICKING ON THE FIRST SERVICE VISIT. ON THE SECOND SERVICE VISIT, THEY AGAIN REPORTED THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE STALL, BUT DID ACKNOWLEDGE THE IGNITION STICKING AND REPORTEDLY REPLACED THE IGNITION. THE IGNITION STUCK WHEN I STARTED THE VEHICLE TO LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP AND STALLED TWO DAYS LATER. I HAVE EXPERIENCED NEARLY BEING STRUCK BY APPROACHING TRAFFIC AS I MADE A LEGAL LEFT TURN AND BARELY CLEARED THE INTERSECTION. *TR
I HAVE A DODGE 2011 CALIBER..I RECENTLY BOUGHT IT BACK ON MAY 4,2011..WITHIN ONE WEEK I HAD A WATER LEAK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. I TOOK IT INTO THE SHOP AND THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. ABOUT TWO WEEKS AFTER THAT I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT AND THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN AND I WENT TO GO AND MY CAR DIDN'T MOVE. I HAD CARS BEHIND ME SO I STARTED MY CAR UP AGAIN AND IT WENT. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME "DON'T BRING IT IN LETS DO A TIME SPAN TO SEE IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN." TWO WEEKS AFTER THAT I WAS TAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN ONTO A STREET AND IT SHUT OFF AGAIN. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND I TOOK IT IN TO THEM THE NEXT DAY. THEY HAD IT FOR ALMOST TWO WEEKS AND SAID THEY CODED THE ABS MODULE AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS WEIRD BECAUSE MY LIGHT DIDN'T COME ON. SO THEY WENT AHEAD AND PUT A NEW ONE IN. SO I GOT IT BACK ON THE MONDAY AND ON THE FRIDAY I WAS TAKING A LEFT HAND TURN AND MY CAR CUT OFF AGAIN. THAT WAS ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO AND THEY STILL HAVE MY CAR. THEY CALLED AND TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE GOING TO UPDATE MY SOFTWARE. AS OF RIGHT NOW I REALLY DO NOT WANT THAT CAR BACK. IT IS A VERY UNSAFE CAR AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE TO HAVE IT IF THE SAME PROBLEM STILL OCCURS. I HAVE CONTACTED CHRYSLER BUT THEY SAID THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT THIS ACCORDING TO LEMON LAW. *TR

I BOUGHT THIS CAR ON 4/11/2011, AND THIS CAR SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING THE FIRST TIME AT 402 MILES , IT HAS HAPPENED ANOTHER FOUR TIMES. THE CAR DIES LIKE THE KEY WAS SHUT OFF NO WARNING OF ANY KIND. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER 06/22/2011 AND AS USUAL THEY COULD FIND NO PROBLEM WITH IT. I DO KNOW THAT DODGE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH THE 2010 CARAVAN, (FALTY WIN MODULE) SO I WOULD THINK THAT SOMEONE WOULD BE ABLE TO FIGURE OUT THAT THIS IS THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS SITUATION MUST BE TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE SOMEONE GET'S KILLED BECAUSE THEIR CAR DIED WHILE IN TRAFFIC

THE FAILURE RECURRED ON FIVE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER HOWEVER, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE.
