There are 2 owner-reported speed control & cruise complaints for the 2017 Dodge Challengerin NHTSA's database. These are unverified consumer reports and may not reflect confirmed defects.
When stepping on the throttle to quickly merge into traffic it delays a few seconds and after removing foot off gas pedal it continues to accelerate and sticks for a few seconds. Which requires me to brake. This is Not SAFE!! The dealer has never heard of this problem but it is listed online as a problem.
BRAKES HAVE WORN INTO ROTOR WITHIN LAST 3 DAYS. RECALL ISSUED FOR CRUISE CONTROL. BOTH SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS ISSUES. CAR BASICALLY UNSAFE TO DRIVE. DEALER WON'T LET MAKE APPOINTMENT UNTIL MID NOVEMBER. CAR HAS LESS THAN 12,000 MILES.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
