TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT WHITE SMOKE EMITTED FROM THE UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE SUDDENLY INCREASED TO HOT. THE VEHICLE WAS MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE ENGINE CYLINDERS WERE REPLACED DUE TO A DEFECTIVE HEAD GASKET. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THE IDENTICAL FAILURE ON THE DAY IT WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR THE SECOND TIME WHERE THE HEAD GASKET WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED FOR THE THIRD TIME AND THE VEHICLE WAS CURRENTLY BEING REPAIRED BY A DIFFERENT INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000.
I WAS TRAVELING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND THE VALVE STEM ON THE LEFT REAR TIRE DISAPPEARED CAUSING RAPID DEFLATION OF THE TIRE. I WAS TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND THIS HAPPENED ON A BRIDGE THAT WAS A MILE LONG WITH NO PLACE TO STOP. AFTER INSTALLING THE "DONUT" SPARE I ENTERED TIRE INTO MY GPS TO FIND A LOCATION FOR REPAIR SINCE I WAS STILL 500 MILES FROM HOME. THE TIRE SHOP I FIRST STOPPED AT DISMOUNTED THE TIRE AND DIAGNOSED THE CAUSE AS THE NUT THAT HOLDS THE VALVE STEM / TIRE SENSOR IN THE WHEEL CAME OFF. HE INFORMED ME THAT THE TIRE WAS RUINED AND HE HAD NO REPLACEMENT IN THAT SIZE AVAILABLE. ADVISED ME TO THE NEAREST SHOP IN ANOTHER TOWN THAT MIGHT HAVE A TIRE MY SIZE. HE ALSO INSPECTED THE OTHER VALVE STEMS AND FOUND 2 OF THE 3 REMAINING RETAINING NUTS CRACKED AND ADVISED ME TO GET MY VEHICLE IN A DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS DUE TO IMMANENT FAILURE OF MORE PARTS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESPOND. THE CONTACT CHANGED A FUSE AND WAS ABLE TO START THE VEHICLE, BUT THE BLOWER MOTOR AND DEFROSTED WERE INOPERABLE. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE WIRING HARNESS HAD FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 58,000. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,000.
I PURCHASED A 2009 DODGE CHARGER IN 4/11. I JUST PERFORMED THE FIRST OIL CHANGE FOR ME ON 8/28/11. I NOTICED WHILE REMOVING THE OIL PLUG, THAT IT WAS VERY TIGHT AND HARD TO LOOSEN. AFTER REMOVING THE PLUG AND OIL, I INSTALLED THE PLUG BACK INTO THE OIL PAN AND IT WOULD NOT TIGHTEN ALL THE WAY. I REALIZED THERE WAS A LOT OF ALUMINUM DEBRIS ON THE SEAL OF THE PLUG WHICH WOULD BE FROM WHEN SOMEONE CROSS THREADS AND STRIPS THE THREADS OF THE OIL DRAIN PLUG HOLE. THE LAST ENTITY TO DO AN OIL CHANGE ON THIS VEHICLE WAS THE DEALER I PURCHASED THIS CAR FROM. WHEN CONFRONTED ABOUT THIS, THE SERVICE MANAGER AT THE DEALER TOLD ME IT WAS "COMMON" FOR THESE DRAIN PLUGS TO STRIP OUT AFTER A FEW OIL CHANGES. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AS I SHOULD NOT BE ALREADY HAVING TO REPLACE THE OIL PAN ON A VEHICLE WITH 52000 MILES ON IT AND A CLEAR VIOLATION OF SAFETY FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. WEAKLY BUILT OIL PANS CAN BE EASILY STRIPPED AND END OF LEAKING OIL OUT ONTO THE GROUND WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE AND HAZARDOUS TO THE ENVIRONMENT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE AND IT FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THE IGNITION HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 66,000.
VEHICLE MADE LOUD BANG FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND BEGAN TO LOOSE SPEED FROM 58 MPH. VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AFTER EMITTING AN ACRID BURNING SMELL. TOWED TO THOMAS DODGE WHO STATES"ENGINE LOCKED UP". *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE VALVE STEM HAD FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE MECHANIC INSPECTED THE VALVE STEM AND STATED THAT IT FRACTURED DUE TO CORROSION. THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE VALVE STEM WAS ALSO CORRODED. THE VALVE STEMS WERE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000. UPDATED 09/11/12*LJ UPDATED 09/13/2012 *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE FAILURE OCCURRED SPORADICALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO INFLATED THE REAR PASSENGER TIRE TO THE PROPER PRESSURE; HOWEVER, THE WARNING INDICATOR CONTINUED TO ILLUMINATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER FOR THE THIRD TIME AND THE REAR PASSENGER TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE MALFUNCTION PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2009 DODGE CHARGER, MY RIGHT REAR TIRE SENSOR LET GO CAUSING MY RIGHT REAR TIRE TO GO FLAT, BECAUSE OF MY LOCATION I WAS UNABLE TO GET OFF OF THE ROADWAY WHEN FIRST OBSERVED, AFTER STOPPING I NOTICED THAT THE TIRE SENSOR VALVE STEM WAS GONE AND I HAD THREE HOLES IN MY SIDEWALL. SINCE THE TIRE SENSOR VALVE STEM WAS GONE, I CHECKED THE OTHER THREE TIRE SENSOR VALVE STEMS, I NOTICED A LOT OF CORROSION ON THE VALVE STEM. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE PARKED, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO TURN THE IGNITION ON BUT THE KEY WOULD NOT TURN. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE KEY FOB, WHICH WAS ATTACHED TO THE KEY, WOULD NOT UNLOCK THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WHERE THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE KEY FOB WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE KEY FOB WAS REPLACED, BUT THE KEY CONTINUED TO BECOME STUCK IN THE IGNITION. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,812.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 30 MPH WHEN ALL OF THE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AS THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IT WOULD TAKE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO START THE VEHICLE AND THE KEY WOULD HAPHAZARDLY RELEASE FROM THE IGNITION, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WOULD RECUR AT LEAST EIGHT TIMES WITHIN A WEEK. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY STATED TO THE CONTACT THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS AVAILABLE FOR THE VEHICLE, AND RECOMMENDED HAVING THE IGNITION SWITCH MODULE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 67,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE BRAKE CALIPERS BROKE IN HALF. THE VEHICLE SWIRLED IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION SO THE CONTACT PULLED OVER. THE LEFT REAR TIRE WAS PUNCTURED AS A RESULT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO REPLACED THE BRAKE CALIPER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 67,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 67,400.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 80 MPH THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VIOLENTLY WOBBLE BACK AND FORTH. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THE VEHICLE PERFORMED AS IF IT WANTED TO LIFT OFF OF THE GROUND. THE FAILURE RECURRED WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN AT 80 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 41,000. MY 2009 DODGE CHARGER WOULD NOT START DEALER INDICATED THE IGNITION MODULE IS DEFECTIVE A FRIEND OF MINE WHO OWNS A REPAIR GARAGE TOLD HE HAD SEEN THIS ON A DODGE CHARGER THREE TIMES IN THE PAST 4 WEEKS. THIS MAY EXPLAIN WHY IT IS TAKING THE DEALER 4 WEEKS TO REPAIR WAITING FOR THE PART. *TR
I OWN A 2009 DODGE CHARGER WITH TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR VALVE STEMS AND BY PUTTING CHROME VALVE CAPS ON THEM IT CAUSED THE 2 BACK ONES TO ADHERE TO THE STEMS CAUSING THEM TO BREAK. I WAS NEVER TOLD WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND NEW I COULDN'T CHANGE VALVE CAPS BY THE DEALER, IN DODGES MANUAL,OR IN THEIR WARRANTY, ONLY AFTER THE FACT WAS I TOLD BY A DODGE DEALER THAT I WASN'T SUPPOSE TO DRESS UP MY CAR WITH CHROME VALVE CAPS CAUSE THEY CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE VALVES ROTTING TO THE CAPS. DODGE WONT FIX IT CLAIMING ITS AN AFTERMARKET PART,THEIRS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE AFTERMARKET PART ONLY WITH THEIR PART,THE FRONT ARE FINE WITH NO ADHESION WHAT SO EVER. DODGE KNOWS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM JUST CHECK THE INTERNET WITH DODGE CUSTOMERS COMPLAINING THE SAME WAY. IF I WAS TOLD THIS OR READ IT IN THEIR MANUAL I WOULD NEVER PUT SOMETHING IN MY CAR THAT WOULD COST ME 300 DOLLARS IN DAMAGES. ALL THE NEW CHARGERS HAVE RUBBER VALVE STEMS NOR TPMS STEMS CAUSE DODGE KNEW THERE WAS A PROBLEM. THE HAVE CONCEALED THIS PROBLEM FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS AND NOW REFUSE TO WARRANTY IT,THEIR SECTION IN THEIR OWNERS MANUAL ABOUT THE TPMS VALVES STATES NOTHING ABOUT WHAT VALVE CAPS TO USE OR ANY WARNING ABOUT PROBLEMS WITH CHROME ALUMINUM CAPS. THEY ARE RIPPING OFF CONSUMERS WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN THEM. NOW I HAVE TO DRIVE MY CAR WITH A FLASHING DASH LIGHT DUE TO THIS PROBLEM AND ITS QUITE DANGEROUS NOT TO INFORM THE PUBLIC ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WHEN ONE CAN ADHERE AND BLOW WHILE YOUR DRIVING. THE DEALER KNOWS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM BUT DOESN'T TELL YOU TILL THE PROBLEM OCCURS THEIR NEGLIGENCE AND SHOULD REPAIR THIS ISSUE. THEIRS NO WAY ID CAUSE THIS PROBLEM IF I WAS TOLD WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR. I ALSO SEE THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE TPMS ON 2009 CHARGERS I WAS NEVER INFORMED ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. *TR
MY 2009 DODGE CHARGER AND MANY OTHERS I KNOW ABOUT WILL STALL FOR NO REASON AT ANY SPEED. IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHICH RESULTS IN LOSS OF ALL POWER, STEERING, BRAKES ETC. HAVE TAKEN TO DEALER BUT SINCE NO COMPUTER CODES WERE THROWN, UNABLE TO FIND PROBLEM, HELP!!!! *TR
2009 DODGE CHARGER. CONSUMER STATES VEHICLE LOST ALL POWER WHILE DRIVING *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE STOPPED ABRUPTLY, THE POWER STEERING WAS DISABLED, THE RADIO DIED AND ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE MESSAGE BOARD FLASHED. THE ENGINE WAS COMPLETELY DEAD. THE NEXT DAY, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE INTERGRATED POWER MODULE WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE SERVICE ADVISOR EXPLAINED THAT THE INTERGRATED POWER MODULE IS THE COMPUTER THAT CONTROLS THE FUSE BOX. WHEN THE PROPER SIGNALS CAN NOT MAKE IT TO THE COMPUTER, IT CAUSES EVERYTHING WIRED TO THE FUSE BOX TO SHUT DOWN. UNFORTUNATELY, THE PROBLEM OCCURRED AGAIN ON JULY 6, 2010. THE CONSUMER WAS ON THE HIGHWAY, WHEN THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND SHUT OFF. THE FOLLOWING DAY, SHE STARTED THE VEHICLE, SWITCHED THE GEAR FROM PARK TO DRIVE, THE ENGINE SHUT OFF, ALL POWER WAS LOST AND ALL THE MESSAGE BOARD LIGHTS BEGAN FLASHING. SHE APPLIED THE BRAKE, PUT THE VEHICLE BACK INTO PARK AND TURNED OFF THE IGNITION. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, IT STARTED WITH NO DIFFICULTY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. HOWEVER, THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND ANY ERROR CODES AND THEY WERE NOT SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED SHE WAS ADVISED BY THE DEALER THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNDER RECALL. THE RECALL REPAIR WAS PERFORMED BY THE DEALER. FOLLOWING REPAIRS, THE CONTACT STATED THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD EXHIBIT AN UNUSUAL GRINDING WHEN TURNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES IN REGARDS TO THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 15,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IT TOOK SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO START THE VEHICLE AT TIMES; THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH KEYLESS ENTRY. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START IT UP, THE ALARM WOULD NOT DISARM AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE WIRELESS IGNITION MODULE FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE PROBLEM HAD NOT OCCURRED SINCE. . "SPORADIC" PROBLEM WITH THE CAR DEVELOPING A VIOLENT SHAKE WHEN TRAVELING BETWEEN 50-70MPH. PROBLEM HAS ONLY BEEN DETECTED SPORADICALLY WHEN GOING UP/DOWN INCLINES ON INTERSTATE. CAR LOSES MOMENTUM WHEN PROBLEM OCCURS REQUIRING ME TO COMPLETELY LET OFF GAS AND DROP CAR INTO NEUTRAL TO REGAIN MOMENTUM. CANNOT RECREATE PROBLEM AT WILL, ONLY OCCURS SPORADICALLY. . PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED OVER 20 TIMES SINCE MID DECEMBER 2009 . CAR HAS BEEN TAKEN ON 7 SEPARATE OCCASIONS TO LOCAL DODGE DEALERSHIP WHERE PURCHASED (BOB FRENSLEY CHRSYLER/DODGE). FIVE OF THESE OCCASIONS INVOICABLE WORK WAS PERFORMED AS NOTED BELOW. DEALERSHIP CLAIMS THEY CAN NO LONGER RECREATE THE PROBLEM AND REFUSE TO WORK ON THE CAR ANY LONGER . PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED TO DODGE CUSTOMER CARE WITH 2 SEPARATE CASES BEING OPENED. DODGE CUSTOMER CARE REFUSES TO AUTHORIZE ANY FURTHER WORK UNLESS THE DEALERSHIP ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY CAN RECREATE THE PROBLEM. . BOTH DODGE CUSTOMER CARE AND THE DEALERSHIP HAVE VERBALLY RECOMMENDED THE FOLLOWING SOLUTION: "CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE CAR UNTIL THE PROBLEM WORSENS AND THEN BRING IT BACK TO BE SERVICED". . TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER WITH GOODYEAR INTEGRITY TIRES. WHILE DRIVING AT 69 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE BECAME SEPARATED FROM THE RIM. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP BUT NO REPAIRS HAD BEEN MADE AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 12,212. S10 APPROPRIATE HANDLING-EMAIL FROM RE PROBLEM WITH HER 2009 DODGE CHARGER. *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING, ALL OF THE DASH LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. SHE LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE VEHICLE DECELERATED QUICKLY. THE CONSUMER STATED SHE REALIZED SHE NEED TO DO SOMETHING, SO SHE TURNED THE KEY OFF THEN BACK ON. THE VEHICLE STARTED TO HESITATE AND THEN STARTED MOVING AGAIN. THE CONSUMER IMMEDIATELY TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP, BUT UPON INSPECTION THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. HOWEVER, THEY DID ORDER A NEW COMPUTER TO BE INSTALLED. THE NEW COMPUTER WAS FINALLY INSTALLED AND IT WAS ASSUMED EVERYTHING WAS FINE, UNTIL THE VEHICLE STARTED EXHIBITING ISSUES ONE MORNING AS SHE WAS LEAVING FOR WORK. IT TOOK THREE TRIES TO START THE VEHICLE. SO, THE DEALER PERFORMED ANOTHER REPAIR WHICH WAS THE REPLACEMENT OF THE IGNITION COILS. A REPRESENTATIVE FROM CHRYSLER WAS SCHEDULED TO TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE. PRIOR TO HIM ARRIVING, THE DASH LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE DASHBOARD AGAIN. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED AGAIN, THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY CODES TO FIX THE PROBLEM. *JB
2009 DODGE CHARGER SXT, PURCHASED BACK IN MAY 2010, STARTING HAVING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT PROBLEMS IN OCTOBER 2010. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT READS THAT I HAVE A FAILURE WITHIN MY OXYGEN SENSORS. PURCHASED CAR USED AT 36, 252 MILES. WOO HOO, THE WARRANTY ON THIS CAR EXPIRED AT 36,00 MILES. I TOOK THE CAR INTO THE "AUTHORIZE" CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP OF WHOM CHARGED ME $99.00 JUST TO EVEN LOOK AT MY CAR, THEY CALLED IT A DIAGNOSTIC FEE FROM WHICH THEY JUST HOOK CAR UP TO A PORTABLE COMPUTER AND LET THE COMPUTER READ THE ENGINE CODE. (THE SAME THING THAT AUTOZONE OR ADVANCED AUTO PARTS DOES FOR FREE). THEY RAN THERE MACHINE ON MY CAR, READ THE CODE, AND MADE ME WAIT FOR ABOUT HOUR JUST SO THEY COULD MAKE ME THINK THEY WERE ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING SPECIAL WHEN CLEARLY I CAN SEE WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE GARAGE. FINALLY WHEN THEY FIGURED THAT I'VE WAITED LONG ENOUGH, THE ONLY THING THEY TOLD ME WAS THAT I HAD A BAD OXYGEN SENSOR, SHOCKER, SINCE I ALREADY KNEW THIS BECAUSE I TOOK IT TO AUTOZONE WERE THEY RAN THE CODE, FOR FREE. CHYRLSER SAID IT WOULD BE AROUND $300 TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. I WAS LIVID WHEN THEY TOLD ME THIS AND ASKED THEM TO BREAK DOWN THE $300 COST BECAUSE I KNEW FOR FACT THAT THE PARTS WERE KNOW MORE THAN $50. THEY TOLD ME PARTS WERE $63, AND THE REST WAS LABOR. ARE YOU FOR REAL. IT TAKES LITERALLY 2 MINUTES TO CHANGE OUT AN OXYGEN SENSOR, ALL YOU DO IS UNPLUG THE OLD ONE AND INSERT THE NEW ONE. I WOULD DO IT MYSELF IF I HAD A CAR LIFT. I EVENTUALLY ENDED UP TAKING THE CAR TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO PRECEDED TO FIX MY CAR FOR ONLY $100. SURPRISE SURPRISE, 2 DAYS LATER MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES BACK ON. I TAKE IT BACK TO DODGE WHO AGAIN CHARGES ME ANOTHER $99 ONLY TO TELL ME THAT THE MECHANIC "CHANGED THE WRONG ON", REALLY, OK, NOT. TOOK BACK TO THE OTHER MECHANIC WHO CHANGED OUT OTHER O2 SENSOR FOR FREE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON. TOOK BACK CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID HE CHANGE THE WRONG ONE AGAIN, REALLY, KNOW REALLY. DODGE/CHRYSLER/JEEP SUCKS. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING AT A LOW SPEED OF 15 MPH AND TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL RIGHT OR LEFT THERE WAS A NOISE IN THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO REPAIRED THE BRAKES BUT THE NOISE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THEY COULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT HEAR THE NOISE OR DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,000.
