MY DODGE CHARGER R/T HAS HAD REPEATED SUNROOF LEAKS, THE HEADLINER LOOKS AWFUL AND THE SUNROOF WAS REPLACED A MONTH AGO AND I'M STILL HAVING PROBLEMS, BUT NOW ITS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. I'M TIRED OF PAYING MONTHLY FOR A VEHICLE TO BE PUT IN THE SHOP FOR A WEEK AT A TIME TO FIX A PROBLEM THAT IS STILL A PROBLEM. I WANT DODGE TO BUY THIS VEHICLE BACK AND THEY CAN MAKE THE PAYMENTS. *TR
2010 DODGE CHARGER HAD REPAIRS DONE AT DARCARS OF NEW CARROLLTON AND PRECISION ENGINE MACHINE COMPANY FROM 12/05/2011 TO 01/03/2012 AND NOW 01/11/2012 TO PRESENT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH. WHILE STOPPED AT A LIGHT, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DISPLAY ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS ACTUALLY IN DRIVE. THE VEHICLE THEN ROLLED BACKWARD AND THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL. THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A POLE AS A RESULT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT HE PERFORMED RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT THAT THE FAILURE COULD HAVE BEEN A RESULT OF THE COLUMN SHIFTER LINKAGE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,700 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 39, 974.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 35 MPH WHEN THE OIL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AS THE VEHICLE STALLED. AFTER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED BUT ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THEY COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM UNLESS IT COULD BE RECREATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 27,640.
PURCHASED CAR 4 MONTHS AGO HEARD NOISE FROM DAY ONE DEALERSHIP COULD FIND PROBLEM REFERRED TO DODGE HAD CYLINDER HEAD REPLACED 3 WEEKS AGO NOW CAR IS ACTING AGAIN NOW SUPPOSEDLY I NEED NEW SPARK PLUGS PROBLEMS WITH FUEL SYSTEM PRIOR TO ME BUYING CAR THE TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE WAS REPLACED PLEASE HELP HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE A NIGHTMARE. *TR
MY EXPERIENCE IS REMARKABLY SIMILAR TO THE NHTSA COMPLAINT OF 4/4/13. THE REAR ISOLATORS [BUSHINGS] SNAPPED AND THE REAR CRADLE ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED AT 11,000 MILES. I WAS TRAVELING AT A SLOW SPEED AND COMPLETELY LOST POWER BUT WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO A PARKING LOT. CAR WAS NOT DRIVABLE AND WAS FLAT-BEDDED TO DEALER. REAR ISOLATOR SNAPPED WITHOUT WARNING. NO IMPACT, ACCIDENT, POT HOLE. JUST SNAPPED AND THE EXHAUST ETC. DROPPED. I WAS THE ONLY DRIVER, SO I KNOW IT WAS TREATED WELL. DEALER STRIPPED UNDERCARRIAGE AND REPLACED REAR CRADLE ASSEMBLY. HERE'S WHAT THE SERVICE INVOICE SAID, "FOUND REAR ISOLATOR SNAPPED (NO IMPACT DAMAGE). HAD TO SECURE CRADLE BEFORE REMOVAL AND DRILL OUT BROKEN ISOLATORS. REPLACED REAR CRADLE ASSEMBLY AND SWAPPED OVER PARTS AS NEEDED." PARTS REPLACED INCLUDED "CROSSMEMBER / CRADLE / MODULE, SUSPENSION, REAR SUBFRAME, FRAME-REAR AXEL." SINCE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THE COST OF THE REPAIR BUT THE PART ALONE WAS $2,900. DEALER AND DODGE REPS ALL SAID THEY HAD NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A FAILURE. I AM THANKFUL THAT THE TRAFFIC THAT MORNING ON MY USUAL ROUTE CAUSED ME TO RESORT TO SIDE STREETS. I AM ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT IF I WAS IN TRAFFIC TRAVELING 60 MPH, I WOULD NOT BE HERE TO FILE THIS COMPLAINT DUE TO THE SUDDEN AND ABRUPT MECHANICAL FAILURE. CONTACTED DODGE ABOUT BUY BACK/REPLACEMENT. NO COOPERATION. SINCE THEN, THE CYLINDER HEAD FAILED. TWICE. I WILL FILE A SEPARATE COMPLAINT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD LUNGE FORWARD WHEN IDLING OR BRAKING TO A STOP. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES OVER A TWO WEEK TIME FRAME. THE FUEL PUMP AND THE HEADS WERE REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. I'M HAVING MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THE VALVE STEMS LEAKING. THE VEHICLE IS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER WITH FIRESTONE FIREHAWK PURSUIT TIRES. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO DOTHAN CHRYSLER DODGE, DOTHAN AL 7 TIMES ALREADY FOR VALVESTEMS AND IT ONLY HAS 13,400 MILES ON IT! THE VEHICLE IS OWNED BY THE ALABAMA DEPT. OF PUBLIC SAFETY, AND RAPID DEFLATION OF A TIRE IS A MAJOR CONCERN WHILE IN THE PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES AS AN ALABAMA STATE TROOPER. THE VALVE STEMS ARE LEAKING FROM THE SIDEWALLS OF THE TIRES. WE HAVE THREE 2010 POLICE PACKAGE DODGE CHARGERS ON OUR DEPARTMENT. ALL THREE WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE VALVE STEMS LEAKING. EACH TIME THIS HAPPENS WE HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE STEM. THE AIR PRESSURE SENSOR IS ATTACHED TO THE VALVE STEM. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN IN MY OPINION. IF YOUR GOING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED TO A CALL AND THE STEM COMES APART YOU WILL MORE THAN LIKELY WRECK YOUR PATROL CAR. OUR STATE HIGHWAY PATROL IS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. IF YOU CONTACT THE DODGE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIPS THEY WILL TELL YOU THE SAME THING. WHY CAN'T THE SENSOR GO ON A BAND THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE CENTER OF THE WHEEL AS THEY HAVE DONE IN THE PAST. *TR
CONTINUE TO HAVE FLAT TIRES ON 2010 DODGE CHARGER. VALVE STEMS LEAK. AIR PRESSURE SENSOR IS ATTACHED TO VALVE STEM. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM ON THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE MALFUNCTIONED. THE LIGHT INDICATED LOW AIR PRESSURE IN THE TIRE, BUT THE TIRE WAS FILLED TO ITS ADEQUATE AIR PRESSURE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO DEALER. THE DEALER COULD NOT DIAGNOSE A FAILURE CODE WITH THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM. THE DEALER REPLACED THE SENSOR, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 14,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER SRT-8. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE IN DRIVE, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE CHECK OIL WARNING INDICATOR. IN ORDER TO RESET THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT HAD TO SHIFT INTO PARK, POWER OFF AND RESTART THE VEHICLE AS IT CONTINUED AS NORMAL. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE AND THERE WERE NO REPAIRS PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 7,185 AND THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 600.
HAD MY FIRST PROBLEM WITH MY 2010 DODGE CHARGER R/T ~ 6K MILES ON THE CLOCK. DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IN ~ 5 DEGREE F TEMPS - THE CAR WAS FULLY WARMED UP AND IT WAS AROUND 9AM IN THE MORNING, THE CAR SUDDENLY DIED, WITH ALL THE ERROR INDICATORS COMING ON. LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO GET OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AS POWER STEERING AND BRAKING WENT OUT. I STOPPED THE CAR, CHECKED UNDER THE HOOD FOR SOME SORT OF VISIBLE DAMAGE. SEEING NONE & CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL - I WENT TO RESTART AND FOUND THAT THE CAR WOULDN'T TURN OVER. DOUBLE CHECKED I WAS IN PARK, EVERYTHING WAS SQUARED AWAY - TOOK THE KEY OUT - PUT IT BACK IN, TURNED - AND HEARD A SINGLE IGNITION - LIKE ONE COIL WENT OFF - THEN STOPPED. TRIED IT AGAIN, WOULDN'T TURN OVER. SO I CALL DODGE ROADSIDE FOR A TOW AND SIT THERE FOR 10 MINUTES. WHILE WAITING I DECIDED TO THEN TRY IT AGAIN, THEN MAGICALLY THE STARTER ACTUALLY GOES AND IT TURNS OVER. I WAS MAYBE 5 MILES AWAY FROM THE DEALERSHIP - SO I TOOK IT STRAIGHT THERE WHERE THEY TOOK A LOOK AT IT. FOR WHATEVER REASON, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM NOR TELL ME WHY IT OCCURRED OR HOW I CAN PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING IN THE FUTURE. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE PART NEEDED TO MAKE REPAIRS WAS ON A MASSIVE BACKORDER. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE UNABLE TO PROVIDE AN APPROXIMATE DATE FOR THE AVAILABILITY OF THE RECALLED PART. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
WE HAVE HAD OUR 2010 DODGE CHARGER, VEHICLE I.D. #[XXX] PUT IN THE SHOP FOR FUEL SYSTEM TROUBLE. WHEN WE GO TO FILL UP THE TANK WITH GAS NO MATTER WHAT THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE IS, IT OVER FLOWS ALL OVER THE SIDE OF THE CAR AND ONTO THE GROUND. WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM DOUGH GREY. 1421 WEST THIRD, P O BOX 1229, ELK CITY OK 73648 AND THE PHONE NUMBER IS 580-225-3005. WE HAVE HAD THE CAR IN THE SHOP 2 TIMES AND CALLED THEM AGAIN BECAUSE THE MATTER HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. THEY INFORMED US THAT THEY CAN NOT HELP US IN THIS MATTER. WHAT CAN WE DO TO GET THIS PROBLEM RESOLVED? OUR SON IS THE ONE THAT PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE FOR US AND BUYS A LOT OF HIS COMPANY VEHICLES FROM THIS COMPANY. WHILE TURNING CAR STALLS OUT. HAPPENED TWICE IN A THREE WEEK TIME PERIOD. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS. CAR RESTARTED AND DROVE FINE. HAPPENED ONCE WHEN COMING TO A STOP AND TURN INTO A DRIVE WAY MAKING A LEFT ACROSS ONCOMING TRAFFIC LANE, WAS GOING ABOUT 45MPH BEFORE SLOWING FOR TURN. LUCKILY NO ON COMING TRAFFIC. SECOND TIME HAPPENED WHEN SLOWING FROM 35MPH AND MAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN INTO MY DRIVEWAY. CAR STALLED AND RESTARTED, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS. TOOK CAR TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID COULDN'T READ ANYTHING DO TO NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THEY REPORTED IT TO DODGE. CAR HAS UNDER 6500 MILES AND IS 9 MONTHS OLD. DODGE CHARGER SRT. DRIVER SIDE REAR AXLE/SUSPENSION SEPARATED WHILE IDLING AT TRAFFIC RED LIGHT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FLOORBOARD WAS 'WEAK' ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS TOLD THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED FOR THE DRIVER AND NOT THE PASSENGER. THE CONTACT ALSO NOTICED RUST ON THE SPOILER OF THE TRUNK. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 12,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 16,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 15 MPH WHEN HE NOTICED A STRONG, OVERPOWERING ODOR OF EXHAUST FUMES INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER WITH A POLICE INTERCEPTOR PACKAGE. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED HE SMELLED STRONG EXHAUST FUMES. HE WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHERE THE FUMES WERE COMING FROM. THIS FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER SINCE IT WAS A PART OF A FLEET PACKAGE OF TWELVE TO THIRTEEN VEHICLES THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED THE IDENTICAL FAILURE. SEVERAL VEHICLES WITHIN THE FLEET TRANSPORT POLICE K9 DOGS AND THE ODOR IN THE VEHICLE PRESENTED A SAFETY RISK FOR THE DRIVER AND THE K9 DOG. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT AN ENGINEER FROM CHRYSLER WOULD NOTIFY THEM AND INVESTIGATE THE FAILURE APPROXIMATELY TWO TO THREE MONTHS AGO. HE WAS TOLD THAT HE COULD CONTINUE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT THIS TIME DUE TO THE DELAY IN CHRYSLER ENGINEER CONDUCTING AN INVESTIGATION. THE MAINTENANCE DIVISION SPOKE TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP IN AN ATTEMPT TO HAVE THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED AND THEY WERE TOLD THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 6110 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5742.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER POLICE PACKAGE. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH THE IGNITION ON HE STATED THAT YOU COULD SMELL EXHAUST FUMES INSIDE THE VEHICLE. HE STATED THAT THE ODOR WAS LIKE SMELLING THE EXHAUST PIPE. THE CONTACT TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND WAS ABLE TO REMOVE THE PASSENGER FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THE PROBLEM WAS NOT EXPLAINED WELL TO THE DEALER AND WHO WAS UNABLE TO FIND THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT PLANNED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND EXPLAIN THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 5,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS AND MOST OF THE TIME WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS IDLE, EXHAUST FUMES CAME IN THROUGH THE VENTS. THE VEHICLE WOULD HESITATE AND IDLE VERY ROUGH WHEN THE CONTACT WOULD ACCELERATE. THE DEALER WAS INFORMED ABOUT THE FAILURE, WHO STATED THAT THERE WAS NO REPAIR AVAILABLE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CAUSED THE FAILURE TO OCCUR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 7000.
WHEN FILLING THE FUEL TANK OF THIS VEHICLE, THE FUEL TANK ACCEPTS ONLY A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF GASOLINE AT A TIME, APPROXIMATELY ONE-TENTH OF A GALLON AT A TIME. ALTHOUGH THE GAS TANK ON THE CAR IS FAR FROM FULL, THE PERSON FUELING THE TANK THEN CONTINUES TO SQUEEZE THE HANDLE ON THE GASOLINE SPIGOT, BUT THE TANK REJECTS THE GASOLINE AND THE GASOLINE SPILLS OUT ONTO THE CAR BODY, THE PERSON AND THE GROUND BENEATH THE VEHICLE. I HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM WITH A NUMBER OF 2010 DODGE CHARGERS RENTED AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY OVER THE LAST NINE MONTHS. THIS MAY BE A FILLER TUBE VENTING PROBLEM. *TR
I RECENTLY RENTED A 2010 DODGE CHARGER WITH POWER SEATS. NONE OF THE ADJUSTING BUTTONS ARE MARKED. AT THE FRONT SIDE CORNER OF THE SEAT IS A TOGGLE BUTTON. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE; I MOVED THIS BUTTON TO ADJUST THE SEAT WHICH I THOUGHT WAS LOGICAL. THIS BUTTON HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE POWER SEATS. THIS BUTTON WHEN ACTIVATED RAISES AND LOWERS THE GAS PEDAL POSITION AND BRAKE PEDAL POSITION. IT CAN BE ACTIVATED WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. THE RESULT OF THIS IS THAT THE ACCELERATION AND BRAKING CAN BE INCREASED OR DECREASED UNEXPECTEDLY. I BELIEVE THIS TO BE A DESIGN FLAW THAT COULD RESULT IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. AT THE LEAST; IT SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE TO MOVE THESE PEDALS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. NO ACCIDENT RESULTED; BUT IT IS VERY DISORIENTING AT HIGHWAY SPEED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHENEVER HE IS IN THE VEHICLE WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, GAS FUMES START TO ACCUMULATE INSIDE THE CABIN. ONE OCCUPANT BECAME SICK FROM THE FUMES. THE DEALER CANNOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED. THIS FAILURE STARTED AS SOON AS HE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 3500.

THE CONTACT STARTED THE VEHICLE AND WHILE IT WAS IN THE PARK POSITION, IT SUDDENLY ACCELERATED AND CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE WHICH PUSHED THAT VEHICLE INTO ANOTHER ONE. THE CONTACT CONFIRMED THAT THE VEHICLE SHIFTED INTO THE DRIVE POSITION WHEN THE CRASH OCCURRED. THE CONTACT DID NOT REPORT ANY INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE FENDER WAS BEING REPAIRED WHEN THE COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 5,630.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE PARKED WITH THE VEHICLE TURNED ON THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BEGAN TO ILLUMINATE ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE HE WAS INFORMED MULTIPLE CYLINDERS WERE MISFIRING. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE HAS SINCE RECURRED 5 TIMES. THIS DECEMBER 2011, I HAVE OWNED THE CAR FOR TWO YEARS. IT HAS STALLED IN TRAFFIC THREE TIMES WHILE TURNING TO THE LEFT AND ONCE WHILE TURNING TO THE RIGHT. IT FELT LIKE THE VEHICLE HAD RUN OUT OF GASOLINE, HOWEVER THERE WAS PLENTY OF GASOLINE. I HAVE AVOIDED THREE COLLISIONS, THE LAST TWO BECAUSE I WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE QUICKLY, DUE TO EXPERIENCE. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER ("REDLANDS DODGE" CALIFORNIA) HOWEVER THEY SAY THE COMPUTER HAS NO RECORD AND OF THE PROBLEM AND THEY CAN'T RECREATE THE PROBLEM. I HAVE FOUND ON THE "INTERNET" SEVERAL SITES OF OWNERS OF THE SAME VEHICLE AND YEAR WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED BY DODGE BECAUSE THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THERE IS NO FIX AT THIS TIME OR RECALL. *TR
I HAVE 2 PROBLEMS FIRST PROBLEM IS THE GAS TANK THE FILLER TUBE ON THE GAS TANK IS NOT WORKING RIGHT YOU CAN NOT PUT GAS IN TANK UNTIL THE GAS TANK IS HALF FULL IF YOU TRY TO FILL IT AT 3/4 FULL IT WILL NOT GO IN TANK IT KEEPS CLICKING OFF THE GAS HOSE. SECOND THE WIRE HARNESS FROM ALTERNATOR WAS ATTACH TO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD FROM FACTORY AND THE WIRES BURNED UP THE DEALER CUT THE WIRES AND TAPE THEM BACK TOGETHER AND THE LIGHTS ON THE WHOLE CAR BLINK OFF AN ON ALL THE TIME THIS IS BAD I AM AFRAID OF A FIRE THE DEALER SHIP WILL DO NOTHING I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING WITH THEM SINCE I BROUGHT THE CAR NEW IN 2011 YOU CAN NOT USE THE CAR AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE LIGHT BLINKING OFF AND ON. *TR
POWER ACCELERATOR AND BRAKE PEDAL MOVEMENT SYSTEM HAS A TOGGLE SWITCH ON THE DRIVERS SIDE SEAT THAT IS EASILY CAUGHT BY A JACKET OR A COAT. THIS CAUSES THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO MOVE TOWARDS YOU WHILE DRIVING AND IN TURN CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE FASTER BECAUSE YOUR FOOT IS STILL ON THE ACCELERATOR. THE TOGGLE SWITCH TO MOVE THESE PEDALS FORWARD OR BACK AWAY FROM THE DRIVER NEEDS TO BE RELOCATED TO THE DASH OR INOPERABLE WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN THE DRIVE POSITION. *TR

HE WOULD NOTICE THE ODOR APPROXIMATELY THREE TO FOUR TIMES A WEEK WHETHER DRIVING OR IDLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER BUT THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 150 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 9,818.

WHEN THE ENGINE WAS IDLING, THERE WAS AN EXTREMELY STRONG ODOR OF FUMES EMITTING INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ONLY WHEN THE ENGINE WOULD BE IDLING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR THE IDENTICAL FAILURE ON TWO DIFFERENT TIMES. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND ADVISED THAT THERE WAS NOT A REMEDY FOR THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERN OF THE POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNDER 9,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO LOCATE A PROBLEM. IN ADDITION, THE GEAR SELECTOR WOULD NOT SHIFT FROM THE "PARK" POSITION AND THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT INDICATOR WOULD ILLUMINATE ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED FOUR TIMES BY THE DEALER AND THEY ADVISED THERE WAS NOT A REMEDY FOR THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,000.

IN ADDITION, ON A DIFFERENT OCCASION THE ENGINE COMPLETELY STALLED WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF SEVERAL WARNING LIGHTS. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,000.

2010 DODGE CHARGER. CONSUMER WRITES REGARDING VEHICLE RECALL *TGW THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER IN THE MAIL. HOWEVER, WHEN HE ARRIVED AT THE DEALER, HE WAS INFORMED THERE WERE NO PARTS AVAILABLE, BUT THEY WOULD BE AVAILABLE IN 4 TO 5 DAYS. THE CONSUMER WAITED LONGER THAN 5 DAYS AND WHEN HE RETURNED TO THE DEALER, HE WAS TOLD THE PARTS HAD NOT ARRIVED. THE CONSUMER THEN CONTACTED ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD FIX HIS VEHICLE ANYTIME. *JB
