ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, CODE WAS CAM POSITIONING SENSOR, HAD THAT REPLACED, DEALER ALSO TOLD US WE NEEDED THE COMPUTER RE-FLASHED. DID THAT ALSO, CAR RAN GOOD FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS THEN DIED ON FREEWAY, TOOK IT BACK IN THEY SAID IT IS THE MAIN COMPUTER, ORDERED THAT, WAITED TWO WEEKS FOR IT TO SHOW UP, GOT IT INSTALLED, STILL WOULDN'T RUN. THEY DUG IN DEALER AND FOUND THAT THE TIMING CHAIN GUIDE SHATTERED AND THE TIMING CHAIN BROKE. READING ON LINE THIS WAS COMMON IN THE 09 - 12 MODELS, WHY ISN'T THE 13 COVERED? *TR
I WAS DRIVING AND MY CAR JUST COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AND WENT INTO ANTI THEFT MODE. I PRESSED MY IGNITION BUTTON TO START IT UP AND IT WOULDN'T START AT ALL. I CALLED BOTH DODGE DEALERSHIPS AND THEY TOLD ME IT MIGHT BE THAT MY KEY LOST PROGRAMMING OR IT WAS MY WIN MODULE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V021000 (AIR BAGS). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CAPITAL CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF INDIAN TRAIL LOCATED AT (5501 W HWY 74, MONROE, NC 28110) WHERE THE RECALL REPAIR WAS PERFORMED. AFTER THE RECALL REPAIR, THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE SAME DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO THE AIR BAG SENSOR UNDERNEATH THE PASSENGER'S FRONT SEAT. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 70 MILES FOR THE COMPUTER TO RESET. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 154,532.

EXCEPT THE U CONNECT ITEMS WHICH THEY SAID SHOULD BE FIXED BY UPDATES AND WEREN'T. (6&7-BEFORE THERMOSTAT REPLACED(JUST NOW)) 6-HEATER FAN SOUNDS LIKE IT'S WORKING BUT ISN'T AND WILL SUDDENLY COME ON FULL SPEED 7-HEAT WILL BLOW AT GOOD TEMP. THEN SUDDENLY BE TOO HOT AND BURN MY HANDS ON STEERING WHEEL ALL 'DOCUMENTATION' IS IN VIDEO.CANT UPLOAD. HAPPENED SINCE PURCHASED NEW. ALL RECALLS ADDRESSED. MILEAGE NOW 76850. THANKS.
48HRS AFTER I RECEIVED AND OIL CHANGE I WAS DRIVING TO VICTORVILLE CALIFORNIA FROM SAN BERNARDINO CALIFORNIA AND AS I WAS EXITING MY EXIT MY CAR TURNED OFF AS I WAS DRIVING. CAR WOULD NOT START. TRIED TO JUMP IT AND THE ENGINE WOULD NOT TURN OVER. I TOWED IT TO THE SHOP AFTER SOME TROUBLESHOOTING THEY SAID IT WAS THE ENGINE.. IT HAD LOCKED UP. I WAS QUOTED $2500 FOR REPAIRS
I NOTICED A STRONG GAS SMELL IN MY CAR AFTER I FILL UP. AND EVERY TIME I FILLED THE TANK THE SMELL WOULD BE VERY STRONG INSIDE THE CAR. WELL AFTER ABOUT 6 MONTHS OF NOT FILLING UP, L RECENTLY HAD IT CHECKED OUT AND IT TURNS OUT THE PLASTIC FUEL PUMP CASING IS CRACKED AND GAS IS POOLING UNDERNEATH THE PASSENGER SIDE SIT.
WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN, FROM A DEAD STOP, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TURN THE COMPLETE WHEEL AND ASSEMBLY DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE BY ITSELF AND COMPLETE LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE CAUSING A ONE CAR ACCIDENT AND SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE, HITTING A ROAD SIGN.THIS WAS A CITY STREET.THERE WAS A POLICE REPORT WRITTEN IN ASHLAND VIRGINIA , 11/30/19,AT 4:30 PM, # 18-46277. THIS COMPUTER WILL NOT ALLOW SCANS OR ATTACHMENTS, IT IS OLD AND ON WINDOWS XP.
OIL PRESSURE SENSOR FAILS
REAR POWER SUPPLY STARTED SMOKING AFTER A CHARGING COMPONENT WAS PLUGGED IN. SMOKED FOR AWHILE AFTER REMOVING THE REAR PANEL THAT ADJUST THE HEAT SEATERS THE WIRES WAS BURNT ALL THE WAY TO THE WIRE HARNESS OF THE MIDDLE CONSOLE. DONT KNOW IF THIS FAULTY WIRING BUT IT IS A FIRE HAZARD IF NOT FIXED.THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AT THE TIME.
CODE P0303 WHICH IS CYLINDER THREE MISFIRE, CHANGED OUT COIL ON CYLINDER THREE BAD CAMSHAFT AND BAD VALVES STEERING WHEEL STIFFENS UP DOING LEFT TURN

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V435000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. A RECALL FOR AN ALTERNATOR ON MY VEHICLE IS SAID TO BE FIXED BUT THE ALTERNATOR ON MY CAR DOESN'T MATCH WITH THE ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT IN THE RECALL LETTER. I CURRENTLY AM HAVING ELECTRICAL ISSUES NEEDED TO KNOW IF MY ALTERNATOR WAS FIXED AND WITH THE CORRECT PART

WHEN I FIRST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IT HAD A TICK I ASKED THE DEALERSHIP WHAT WAS THAT THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A (HEMI TICK) THAT ALL CHARGERS HAD THAT SOUND SO I DROVE IT TO AROUND 100, 000 MILES AND WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IT BEGIN TO MAKE THIS LOUD NOISE SOUNDING LIKE A TRUCK . I TOOK IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY TOLD ME MY NUMBER 3 PLUG OR WHATEVER IT'S CALLED WAS MISFIRING TOOK IT TO CROWN DODGE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS GOING TO COST ME 8,599 TO FIX THIS PROBKEM THAT I ALWAYS HAD. NOW I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME BEFORE LOOKING AT IT WHAT WAS WRONG COME TO FIND OUT I HAVE THE SAME VEHICLE AS EVERY SHERIFF IN OUR TOWN AND HE HAS FIXED EVERYONE OF THEIR VEHICLES WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM THIS SOUNDS LIKE A PROBLEM THAT IS GOING ON WITH A LOT OF THESE CHARGERS AND THIS IS JUST WEIRD TO ME IT'S NO COINCIDENCE THAT I HAVE TALKED TO AT LEAST 20 OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME CAR AS MINE WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.

P60 RECALL: YESTERDAY, MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING OUR 2013 DODGE CHARGER WHEN THE BATTERY LIKE CAME ON. NOTHING ELSE HAPPENED THEN, BUT ABOUT 15 SECONDS LATER - - EVERYTHING ON THE DASH STARTED FLASHING, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS CAME ON, THE CAR STARTED TO JERK AND THEN EVERYTHING DIED. HE MANAGED TO COAST INTO OUR DRIVEWAY - LUCKILY WAS HEADED HOME FROM WORK AND ONLY DOING 20MPH. NO WARNING - NO NOTHING. JUST ALL OF A SUDDEN - ENTIRE SYSTEM FAILURE. NO POWER STEERING OR ANYTHING. KIND OF A ELECTRICAL SMELL IN THE CAR. AT FIRST, WE THOUGHT THAT MAYBE THE BATTERY WAS LOOSE OR SOMETHING OR BAD GROUND. CHECKED THAT. TRIED JUMPING - TERMINALS STARTED SMOKING. DID A SEARCH AND FOUND OUT THAT OUR VIN IS SHOWING AN UNREPAIRED P60 RECALL. CALLED THE DEALERSHIP THIS MORNING - NOW BEING TOLD THAT IT MAY BE THE P60 RECALL, BUT WE CAN'T KNOW UNTIL WE GET IT TO THE DEALERSHIP - WHO - COINCIDENTALLY HAS NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE FOR A WEEK, DOES NOT PROVIDE LOANER CARS (OR FREE RENTAL), AND MAY OR MAY NOT COVER THE TOWING. I THEN CONTACTED DODGE AND WAS TOLD THAT IT COULD BE THE RECALL, BUT THEY DO NOT PROVIDE RENTALS OR LOANERS. WHAT? SO - - THEY KNOW THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE IN 1/2 A MILLION VEHICLES, BUT THEY ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT OTHER THAN TO SWITCH THE PART OUT? VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON DODGE'S PART AND I WILL BE PURSUING THIS FURTHER, ONCE WE HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THE PART NUMBER ON THE ALTERNATOR IS THE CORRECT PART NUMBER FOR THE RECALL. I AM NOT WAITING TO GET IT UP THERE FOR THEM TO MYSTERIOUSLY LOSE THE PART OR EVEN BETTER - PRETEND THAT IT ISN'T THE RIGHT PART NUMBER. I AM FEELING VERY UNTRUSTING OF DODGE RIGHT NOW!

THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON I TOOK IT TO MR TIRE ON 09/13/2019 TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND THEY SAID THERE MACHINE TO READ THE ABS LIGHTS COULD NOT READ IT THEY DISCONNECTED IT CAN I GET A BAG IT READ IT SAID THE LEFT REAR TIRE WAS HAVING PROBLEMS THEY CONNECTED BACK COULDN'T READ IT AGAIN IT SAID IT WAS FINE BUT THE ABS LIGHT WILL NOT COME OFF STILL ON THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT BECAUSE THE MACHINE KEPT ON SAYING THEY COULDN'T READ IT THEN IT READ IT AND WHEN THEY TRIED TO CLEAR CODES THEY COULDN'T SO THEY THINK IT IS A RECALL PROBLEM THE LIGHT IS STILL ON I TOOK IT TO A AUTOZONE BEFORE I TOOK IT TO MR TIRE BUT THEY COULDN'T READ THE SENSORS TO AND NOTHING CAME UP ON THERE'S MACHINES NOT READING THE ABS SENSORS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANY MORE ABOUT THIS ABS LIKE I'M SCARED THAT MY BRAKES ARE GOING TO LOCK ON ME AND IT WILL CAUSE ME TO HAVE A ACCIDENT. WHEN DRIVING, POWER STEERING RANDOMLY TURNS OFF AND DISPLAYS "SERVICE POWER STEERING SYSTEM". IT DECIDED TO SHUT OFF POWER STEERING MIDWAY THROUGH A RIGHT HAND TURN CAUSING ME TO DRIVE OVER THE SIDEWALK AND ALMOST INTO A PARKED CAR IN THE PARKING LOT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SIDEWALK. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, I DONT FEEL SAFE LETTING MY KIDS RIDE IN THIS CAR AT ALL, ESPECIALLY SINCE I NEVER KNOW WHEN MY POWER STEERING IS JUST GOING TO RANDOMLY STOP WORKING. I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE POSITIVE SAFETY RATINGS, HOWEVER, BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE, DODGE/CHRYSLER HAS LOST ALL OF MY BUSINESS. ESPECIALLY WHEN A NEW POWER STEERING PUMP IS $1280 WHICH IS MORE THAN A COMPLETE MOTOR FOR SOME CARS. THE LIVES OF MY CHILDREN ARE WORTH MORE TO ME THAN THEY SEEM TO BE TO DODGE. BLUETOOTH IS NOT WORKING IN HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES. NEEDS A VERY EXPENSIVE MODULE TO BE REPLACED. THIS ALONE CAN CAUSE NUMEROUS ACCIDENTS AND POSSIBLE DEATH DUE TO USING YOUR CELL PHONE NOT ON BLUETOOTH!

FIRST THE ABS LIGHTS CAME IN THEN THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON TOOK IT TO THE DELEARSHIP AND HAD IT REPAIRED NOW ITS DOING IT AGAIN. DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD AT ANY SPEED THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON.
PREMATURE WEAR OF BUSHINGS WHICH CAUSED REPLACEMENT OF COMPLETE SUSPENSION SYSTEM. $3000 LATER I HOPE MY VEHICLE WILL BE SAFE TO DRIVE AGAIN. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE IN 2015 AND HAVE ONLY PUT 17,000 MILES ON IT SINCE OWNING IT. VEHICLE STARTED JUST SUDDENLY MAKING VERY LOUD METAL ON METAL CLANKING SOUND AND LOTS OF VIBRATION. BUMPS IN ROAD MADE THE NOISE WORSE. I WAS AFRAID TO DRIVE VEHICLE UNTIL I COULD GET IT INTO DEALER WHEN THEY HAD AN APPOINTMENT AVAILABLE BECAUSE I DID NOT WANNA INJURE OURSELVES OR OTHERS. I HAVE READ IN OTHER FORUMS THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. IS THIS A DESIGN FLAW? IS THERE A SUSPENSION ISSUE? I AM SCARED OF MY CAR NOW.

WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY, THE RADIO HAS STOPPED WORKING TO WHERE THERE IS NO SOUND. UPON LOOKING UP THE ISSUE FROM OTHER DODGE OWNERS ONLINE REPORTING THE SAME PROBLEM.THE RADIO AMPLIFIER FUSE #27 LOCATED IN THE TRUNK OF THE VEHICLE HAS COMPLETELY BURNT OUT, POSSIBLE FIRE HAZARD. IT IS UNSAFE TO REPLACE FUSE BACK IN THE SAME LOCATION THE HOUSING FOR THE FUSE IS MELTED AND BURNED.
POWER STEERING WILL INTERMITTENTLY QUIT WORKING AT FIRST START, WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE STREET OR HIGHWAYS AND TURNING FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS.
THE NUMBER 6 PISTON IS MISFIRING AND CAUSING THE CAR TO JERK. THE PART IN OTHER 2013 CHARGERS HAS BEEN RECALLED , MINE IS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE , BUT NOT ON RECALL LIST. IT HAPPENS WHEN CAR IS STATIONARY THE MOST , BUT DOES HAPPEN WHEN DRIVING TOO. IT HAPPENS ON CITY STREETS AND ON HIGHWAYS.
STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS AND BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE CONNECTIVITY HAVE FAILED ON THIS VEHICLE REQUIRING $700 REPAIR INCLUDING A NEW BLUETOOTH MODULE. THE VEHICLE CAN NO LONGER SUPPORT THE HANDS FREE SAFETY FEATURES THAT ARE ESSENTIAL FOR MOBILITY CONNECTIVITY AND SAFETY DURING PHONE CALLS. USERS ARE UNABLE TO REBOOT RADIO DEVICES ON THIS VEHICLE REQUIRING DEALER VISIT FOR DIAGNOSIS. DIAGNOSIS INDICATES FAILURE OF BLUETOOTH MODULE LOCATED NEAR STEERING WHEEL. THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM FOR DODGE BIASED ON INFO BOARDS, INSTALL VIDEOS AND OEM PARTS BEING SOLD TO REPAIR THIS. I HAVE VEHICLES TWICE THE AGE OF THIS DODGE WITH BLUETOOTH STILL ACTIVE SO THIS FEELS LIKE A PREMATURE PARTS FAILURE THAT IS PUTTING MY TEEN DRIVER AT RISK UNTIL REPAIRED DUE TO LACK OF HANDS FREE CONNECTIVITY.
2014 DODGE CHARGE POLICE CAR LOSES ALL POWER STEERING WHEN TURNED LEFT. WE HAVE 4 OF THESE MODELS AT OUR POLICE AGENCY AND ALL 4 ARE DOING THE SAME THING. AFTER SPEAKING WITH SEVERAL OTHER POLICE CHIEF'S, THEY ALL STATED THAT THE ELECTROSTATIC POWER STEERING PUMP WAS BAD AND IT WAS A MULTIPLE THOUSAND DOLLAR FIX FOR THEM. OUR LOCAL DODGE DEALER SAYS TO FIX EACH FLEET CAR, THE COST WILL BE OVER $2000 PER CAR. WITH THIS MANY ISSUES, THERE SHOULD BE AN INVESTIGATION AND A RECALL. FURTHER, WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AND THE STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED LEFT, ALL POWER STEERING IS LOST.
THE ADJUSTABLE GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS MOVE WHILE THE VEHICLE IS MOTION WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF ACTIVATION BY THE DRIVER, THIS CAUSES ACCELERATION OR BRAKING ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE, WHEN THIS OCCURS THE PEDALS ALWAYS MOVE TOWARDS THE DRIVER NOT AWAY, IT OCCURS WITHOUT WARNING AND THERE IS NOT APPARENT CAUSE FOR IT HAPPENING
DEALER IS REFUSING TO REPAIR MY CAR UNDER RECALL FOR TALAAT AIRBAGS. WHEN I CONTACT THE DEALER AND THE FCA HOTLINE, I AM REPEATEDLY HUNG UP ON.

DRIVING IN THE CITY OR HIGHWAY THE POWER STEERING WILL STOP WORKING AND BECOMES UNCONTROLLABLE/HARD TO GET TO THE EDGE OF THE ROAD. THIS CONDITION IS VERY UNSAFE AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THE POWER STEERING WILL INTERMITTENTLY NOT WORK FIRST START IN THE MORNING AND TURNING CORNERS. CHECKED AND TOPPED OFF THE FLUID LEVEL. IT WORKED FINE FOR TWO OR THREE DAYS AND STARTS ACTING UP AGAIN.
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

THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH STARTED FLASHING AND THEN WENT OUT AND MY CAR AUTOMATICALLY TRIED TO STOP ON I-95 NORTHBOUND AND THE TRANSMISSION AUTOMATICALLY PARKED FUNCTION OCCURRED AT 75 MPH AND MY CAR ALMOST FLIPPED IT WAS SUCH A HARD STOP.
THE TRUNK KEPT OPENING ON IT'S OWN, WITHOUT THE KEY FOB ANYWHERE NEAR IT. I GOOGLED THE ISSUE AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S A VERY COMMON ISSUE ON THE CHARGER AND CHALLENGER MODELS YET THE DEALERSHIP HAD NEVER HEARD OF IT. IT WAS 199.00 BEFORE TAX FOR PARTS AND LABOR FOR A NEW TRUNK SENSOR. THE SCARY PART IS THAT IT OPENED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION BACKING UP AS WELL.

THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V634000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); HOWEVER, THE REPAIR WAS ALREADY DEEMED COMPLETED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ROCKLAND CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE (60 NY-304, NANUET, NY 10954, (845) 627-3700) FOR THE RECALL REPAIR AND THE DEALER DISCOVERED THAT THE BATTERY WAS DAMAGED AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE DEALER WANTED TO CHARGE THE CONTACT FOR THE BATTERY, CLAIMING THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL; HOWEVER, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ALTERNATOR WAS FAULTY. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WOULD POSSIBLY REIMBURSE THE CONTACT FOR THE BATTERY AND VEHICLE RENTAL FOR WHICH HE WAS CHARGED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER BACK AND INSTRUCTED THEM TO REPLACE THE BATTERY. WHEN THE CONTACT ARRIVED TO RETRIEVE THE VEHICLE, THE DEALER GAVE HIM A BILL FOR MORE THAN HE WAS QUOTED TO REPLACE THE BATTERY. THE BILL INCLUDED ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE BATTERY. THE CONTACT WAS STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK FORM THE DEALER TO SEE IF THEY WOULD REMEDY THE EXTRA CHARGES. THE DEALER WOULD NOT RELEASE THE VEHICLE UNTIL THE BILL WAS PAID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,000.
I WAS DRIVING HOME AND STOPPED TO ALLOW ANOTHER CAR TO TURN IN FRONT OF ME, I FLASHED MY LIGHTS ONCE TO ALERT THE OTHER DRIVE TO GO AND MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS CAME ON AT A HIGH SPEED. I TRIED TO TURN THEM OFF AND THEY WOULD NOT STOP, I TURNED THE WIPER SWITCH BACKWARDS AND FORWARD AND THEY STILL WOULD NOT TURN OFF. I HAD TO DRIVE HOME (IN BROAD SUNNY DAYLIGHT) WITH THE WIPERS GOING VERY FAST ON DRY GLASS! VERY ANNOYING AND UPSETTING - WITH NO WARNING. WHEN I ARRIVED HOME, I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON AND THE WIPERS WERE STILL GOING. I CONTACTED THE NEAREST DODGE DEALERSHIP AND THEY ASKED ME TO COME THERE. I HAD TO DRIVE TO THEM FROM MY HOME ABOUT 10 MILES TO DEALERSHIP WITH THE WIPERS STILL GOING ON DRY WINDSHIELD (VERY EMBARRASSING AND UPSETTING). ONCE I ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP THE ONLY WAY THEY COULD GET THEM TO TURN OFF/STOP, WAS TO REMOVE THE FUSE FROM THE BOX THAT CONTROLS THE WIPERS. I CHECKED TO SEE IF THERE WAS A RECALL OR SOME TYPE OF WARNING I SHOULD HAVE NOTICED PRIOR AND THERE WAS NOTHING! THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE SINCE WE BOUGHT IT 5 YEARS AGO. WE MAINTAIN SERVICING AND TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF OUR VEHICLES. I'M VERY DISTURBED THAT THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE OF. IS THERE ANYONE ELSE THAT HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM? NOW WE ARE BEING TOLD THAT IT'S THE STEERING COLUMN MODULE? AND ITS ABOUT $800 TO REPAIR! THAT'S RIDICULOUS!
