I received a notice March 14th of 2024 indicating that the side curtain airbag on my charger may fail and cause shrapnel to go into the passenger and driver's area and possibly causing injury. To date I have not heard a word and every time I check up on this recall it says that no remedy is available. I have made repeated calls and emails to Dodge FCA in regards to this and I have never received a response. This is getting quite annoying since my wife rides in my car with me and if the airbag fails the potential for an accident or injury is great. I don't know where else to turn other than you to try and get this remedied. Friends have told me that parts are available but when I go on the Dodge owners app it says nothing is available. Airbag safety recall not being remedied by the parts manufacturer for Dodge/Mopar - Stellantis. This remains an unresolved safety issue extending throughout calendar year 2024. Local dealership is unable to repair despite multiple contacts due to part unavailability. Also contacted the airbag parts manufacturer (Stellantis) directly with a complaint. Assuming that Stellantis is being fined for each day that my car is not safe to drive? Hoping so! The wait period for the recall remedy is beyond reasonable. Campaign 11701038 - Warping of door panels and driving shaft area. Worried this will affect airbag deployment.
Over 2 years ago I took my vehicle in for an oil change and asked them to drive it and see why it sometimes pulls the steering when going around a curve to the left. they drove it and said it never did pull. Since then, it now pulls to the right when going around curves to the right also. It is doing it more frequently and I am in fear that it will either cause me to go off the road or hit someone when it all of a sudden jerks, like it is catching on something in the tire or something. I wouldn't even let my grandson drive it when he got his learners permit. I have since then decided to look for a safer vehicle and will be trading it since no one can figure out the issue. It jerks hard all of a sudden and you have to make sure you are holding the steering wheel tight. I am reporting to hopefully prevent an accident.

While driving the visibility was only 5 feet ahead. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the bulbs needed to be changed. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.
The led light is supposed to have a constant voltage but in the day ther voltage is lower because the lights dim there needs to be a additional adjustment made or attachment so it causes the head light to fail
Vehicle purchased new, maintained per the owners manual and radiator requires replaced due to manufacturers defect.

The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the TPMS warning light illuminated, and the contact became aware that the air pressure level was not being read from the rear driver’s side tire. The contact stopped on the side of the road and examined the tire, but the tire was not low. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the battery in the TPMS was not functioning as intended. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 30,000.
The interior doors on my car are wrapping and the drivers door arm rest is broken on the inside. I see plenty of complaints on this model with the same problems and there should be a recall done. My car only has 44,261 miles and is well maintained. I was told by the dealer that my extended warranty does not cover the inside doors . He broke it down to the door trim its not the trimp it's the door interior .
The 2019 Dodge Charger, a police vehicle, was enroute to a crash scene when it caught fire. The fire appears to have originated in the engine compartment near the fire wall.
Melted headlight connector.Have replace headlight connector and headlight bulb several times. Using the manufacturers recommend bulb. 9005LN. On 3/21/23 it overheated again an cause a electrical fire behind the headlight assembly. It is fleet police car and I have several cars that have the headlight connector melted and replace.
I smelled a burning scent through my vent while driving..Driver side headlight had burned out. I’ve seen the same issue with a wiring harness that needed to be replaced with a previous charger that I had that was recalled
Brake system Seatbelt came out of latch Approaching a red light and stopped traffic, applied brakes and no response. Ended up rear ending another vehicle. Resulting in injury to driver of malfunctioning vehicle and possible injuries to other passengers in the other vehicle . Don’t know if the vehicle is available. It was deemed totaled. It’s Unkown if there’s been any inspections as of yet. There was some kind of audible notification that occurred when driver applied brakes right before collision
AC still smells meldo thru the vents fixed it last year or so still issues steering makes piping noise when backing up to the right
Oil cooler assembly leaking oil onto road when driving. No warning lights pop up on dash to inform.Part have been inspect by professional car dealership.
Instrument cluster and radio “monitor “stopped displaying vehicle information causing everything to disrupt driving while driving in traffic. Steering was swaying and difficult to drive. There was a recall # Safety Recall V32/NHTSA 19V-203 for the same problem so it now has the same issues.
The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Charger. The contact stated while driving at unknown speeds, the driver's side headlight was inoperable. The 20-amp fuse was black and burned. The contact who is a mechanic who replaced the fuse. The contact stated that the fuse was warm to the touch. The contact stated that the fuse box underneath the hood was damaged. The passenger’s side headlight was inoperable. The fuse arc was burnt and was replaced. The contact stated that the failure was caused when the headlights were in the auto position. Additionally, the fuse arc prongs were bent. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact called the local dealer, who informed him there was no recall for the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 88,200.

The contact had taken the vehicle to a certified mechanic who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 62,000.
When making a right turn at approximately 5 miles per hour the front driver side suspension arm failed catastrophically causing the wheel, brake assembly, part of the suspension arm, and a small part of the frame of the vehicle to break off and roll approximately 75 feet into traffic. This also caused my break system to fail entirely. The week of the incident the Vehicle had been driven approximately 120 miles under conditions that would be considered normal for the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated and there were no sounds or signs that failure was imminent. Vehicle is pending inspection from insurance company. I was in a car accident where i hydroplaned through 3 lanes of traffic on the highway and spun out of control and smashed into a median wall which effectively cause my car to be totaled. On my dashboard it was giving warning signs the airbag was deployed and my car was unmovable but that wasn’t the case. Not one airbag deployed. I ended up needing stitches but I feel like that could have been avoided if my airbags did it’s job. What else has to happen besides direct impact for them to protect the driver.
The vehicles first issue I had was about a month of owning the vehicle , with the Uconnect infotainment system not wanting to turn off or on and being frozen with only showing a still image of the back camera. I fixed it after I disconnected the battery for about 2 minutes. Then I had a transmission problem which needed servicing not even a year into owning the vehicle. I had to go to the service center to have part replaced, took about a month to get replaced due to back order. Then in June of 2021 the car wouldn't go in reverse or drive. As if the emergency brake was on and wouldn't budge. Had to tow the car to the dealership and leave overnight. When the car was dropped off at the dealership it had to be shaken off the tow bed. Was called to come pick the care up the next day because "no issues were found and car is functioning properly". Now in April of 2022 the steering wheel makes a grinding sound as if it's chewing rocks inside. When it was taken to the dealership was advised the steering column would need to be replaced and the part would be available in the first week of May. When I called to follow up, they advised it would be in May 12th. I called to confirm if that was true and was told the part would now come May 26th. Called again and part won't be available until June 9th. When making turns in vehicle steering wheel sticks and power steering is disabled. feels like I'm going to crash or flip the vehicle.
I had my vehicle serviced for an oil change & inspection. But I also spoke with a dealership service rep regarding what I initially thought was some sort of electrical issue that has been intermittent almost since I purchased the vehicle from this dealership. Which is my radio going in and out and automatically changing the stations completely on it's on. The rep was very helpful in that she was familiar with the issue and informed me that it's a known issue at this point and the radio needs to be replaced. She informed me that the radio would have to be ordered and that if I had the extended warranty (which I did get on this car from your dealership) then my deductible would be either $100 or $200 that I would have to pay. She looked up my info and confirmed it would be the $100 that I would have to pay. However, when she went to actually submit for the replacement radio, the system did not allow her to and showed that for some reason my radio is not able to be replaced. The representative did tell me that should would have someone follow up regarding this. However there was never a followup until I called back into the dealership service center a few days later. And was told that the radio replacement is not covered & I would have to pay out of pocket. Was not given any explanation as to WHY. I definitely should not have to pay out of pocket (other than my deductible) to get something repaired that Dodge & Chrysler are well of is a known manufacturer issue at this point. And at this point I think a recall needs to be started regarding this issue.
Outside temp was around 32F. Drove normally for 15 minutes and came to a stop. Was idling approximately two minutes and temperature gauge started climbing rapidly. High fans turned on but temps continued to climb. Turned off engine for a few mins and temps were okay. Took it to a garage the next morning and mechanic said the radiator was broken.
Main Head Lamps go out with no warning or indicator saying that the lamp is off, and it MAY or MAY not come back on....In this case it is ( at this time ) only the Driver side Lamp. This is Intermittent and no rhyme or reason as to why . This particular Lamp assembly is a specific FACTORY LAMP and also , from my understanding. incorporates a FACtORY Ballast.
I THINK IT MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE TRACTION BUTTON, MY CAR WHEELS LOCKED AFTER PUTTING IT ON AND THEN THE WHOLE CAR SPUN AROUND IN A COMPLETE CIRCLE ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS IS THE 3RD TIME
The BRAKE light will not go off an the BRAKE fluids light on the dash board it is not low in fluid…. It has been checked has been taken to the dealership….
The air vents has a very strong meldew odor coming out of the vents. Rear seat rattles. Complaint about it and never fix it correctly
The USB port in arm rest is not working it shorts out an also the Navigation sucks it shorts on an off with CarPlay needs a recall….ASAP..
I WAS INVOLVED IN A BAD ACCIDENT IN WHICH MY CAR WAS HIT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE REAR DRIVER AND PASSENGER DOORS BY 2 DIFFERENT CARS. THE ENTIRE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WAS RIPPED AND SCRAPED AS WELL AND NONE OF THE AIRBAGS IN THE VEHICLE DEPLOYED. THE ENTIRE CAR IS TORN APART AND NOT ONE OF THE AIRBAGS ATTEMPTED TO DEPLOY DESPITE BEING HIT ALL OVER. I SPUN OUT OVER 6 LANES OF TRAFFIC AS THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP. EVERY SENSOR AND METER IN THE CAR WAS FLASHING AND GIVING ME AN ERROR MESSAGE IN WHICH THE CAR WAS NO LONGER OPERABLE. IF ANYONE HAD BEEN IN THE VEHICLE ALONG WITH ME, NO ONE WOULD BE SAVED.
WHEN GO OVER 30 AND BRAKE THE CAR SHAKES BUT UNDER THEM SPEED NOTHING HAPPENS ITS REGULAR. JUST BOUGHT THE CAR 2 WEEKS AGO.
FUEL LEAK AT THE BOTTOM OF FUEL FILLER TUBE AROUND FLANGE SEAL.
My usb connect in arm rest when connected will disconnect then not show up in car play or maps….
UNKNOWN 06/21 : Rear view camera stops working on occasion. Mostly when weather is bad, I don't exactly know why it stopped working occasionally, never hit the car or any problems until severe cold whether came around January 2021. On the camera screen it will just show black and say "camera unavailable check surroundings" especially in severe rain. The date June 2021 was the last time it showed the black screen while it was raining for the week of 06/25 - 06/29. 01/21 : tire sensor does not read tire pressure or read that there is a tire at all on front passenger & back driver side.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LOCAL DEALER CARL HOGAN CHEVROLET BUICK GMC (2333 HWY 45 N, COLUMBUS, MS 39705: (662) 580-0726), AND WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER WHERE SHE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND WAS TOWED TO THEIR FACILITY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 7,000.
TL-THE CONTACT WAS RENTING A 2019 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 30MPHAN CROSSING A RAILROAD TRACK THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH THE VEHICLE WAS TBONED ON THE PASSANGER SIDE. THE OTHER VEHICLE MIGHT HAVE RAN THROUGH A STOP SIGN. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND NO POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. NON OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED.BOTH VEHICLES WERE DRIVEN TO A NEARBY PARKING LOT AND THE DRIVER'S EXCHANGED INSURANCE INFORMATION. THE PASSANGER SIDE DOOR WAS COMPLETELY SMASHED IN AND UNABLE TO BE OPENED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE DRIVEN AWAY AND REQUIRED NO TOWING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,737. TF
I WAS DRIVING THE CAR JUST SHUT DOWN COMPLETELY AND WOULDN'T CRANK WITHOUT WARNING OR ANYTHING.
I PURCHASED A NEW 2019 DODGE CHARGER SCATPACK. IT WAS PURCHASED AS A LEISURE CAR FOR WEEKEND USE. I'VE HAD THE VEHICLE FOR A YEAR AND A HALF AND HAS 13000 MILES. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHIMMY FROM THE FRONT BRAKES. THE FRONT VIBRATION BEGAN VERY LIGHT BUT HAS CONTINUED TO INCREASE. AT FIRST I BELIEVE THAT IT WAS PROBABLY CAUSED BY THE FACT THAT IT WAS NOT DRIVEN TO OFTEN AND THERE WAS PROBABLY A RUST BUILDUP OF SOME KIND. HOWEVER, IN RESEARCHING THE INTERNET IT APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. THE DEALERSHIP LABELED THE PROBLEM AS A WEAR AND TEAR ISSUE AND FOR THAT REASON IT WOULD BE MY RESPONSIBILITY TO FIX IT. I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A POOR DESIGNED PROBLEM THAT THE MANUFACTURER IS REFUSING TO RECOGNIZE. I'VE OWNED MANY CARS IN MY 58 YEAR'S OF LIFE AND I KNOW THAT A BREAK ISSUE UNFORTUNATELY TAKES LOSS OF LIFE BEFORE IT'S ADDRESSED BY THE AUTHORITIES AND OR MANUFACTURER'S. I'M HOPING THAT THESE ISSUE IS ADDRESSED AS I'VE FOUND THROUGHOUT MY RESEARCH THAT IT'S A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE AND IT COMES WITH OTHER PROBLEMS LIKE BRAKE FAILURE ALSO. THE BRAKES ARE MANUFACTURED BY BREMBO BRAKE WHO HAS ALSO REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE A POSIBLE PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKES.
THE FACTORY HALOGEN PROJECTOR HEADLAMPS ARE GROSSLY INADEQUATE FOR NIGHT TIME DRIVING. THE BEAM PATTERN IS VERY POOR, AND ILLUMINATION OF SIGNAGE TO THE RIGHT OF THE CAR IS NON-EXISTENT. THIS PRESENTS A VERY DANGEROUS CONDITION. I HAVE REPLACED THE FACTORY BULBS WITH HIGHER PERFORMANCE PARTS TO NO AVAIL. INCREASING THE INTENSITY OF A BAD BEAM PATTERN DOESN'T IMPROVE THE BEAM PATTERN. NHTSA SHOULD INVESTIGATE THE HEADLAMPS ON THE CURRENT GENERATION CHARGER. OVERALL, NHTSA SHOULD ADOPT THE ECE BEAM PATTERN. FINALLY, DRLS SHOULD BE BANNED. WITH NO BENEFIT, ALL THEY DO IS RAISE THE COST OF A VEHICLE AND CAUSE EXCESSIVE DAYTIME GLARE.
TOTAL LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING. WE WERE TRAVELING ON A MAIN ROAD DOING 30 MPH WITH AUTOS IN FRONT AND BEHIND US. SLOWED DOWN AND ATTEMPTED TO TURN ONTO SIDE STREET. IT WAS VERY HARD TO TURN ONTO THE SIDE STREET SINCE THERE WAS ABOUT 10 % OF POWER STEERING ASSIST. YOU COULD BARELY STEER INTO A PARKING SPOT. I CALLED FOR A TOW TRUCK TO DELIVER THE 2019 DODGE CHARGER SRT HELLCAT TO MY RESIDENCE. I WILL BE CALLING THE CLOSEST DODGE DEALER/ REPAIR CENTER FOR DIAGNOSTIC AND REPAIRS TO BE MADE. THANK GOD NO PEOPLE, INJURED, PROPERTIES OR VEHICLES WERE DAMAGED OR KILLED. .
I was in an accident. The other car hit me at least going 60 mph into my drivers door. NONE of my airbags deployed in the accident. My car could not move and was totaled from the accident. I was injured with a TBI from the car accident. I received no help from the manufacturer at all.
WHILE I WAS DRIVING TODAY ALL OF A SUDDEN THE LIGHTS WENT SO DIM (IT'S ALWAYS ON THE AUTO SETTING) THEN I SWITCHED IT TO THE POSITION TO THE RIGHT OF IT AND LIGHTS BECAME BRIGHT, BUT WHEN I PUT IT BACK TO AUTO I COULDN'T HARDLY SEE THE SPEEDOMETER HARDLY AT ALL THE RADIO SCREEN WENT DIM AS WELL AND NONE OF MY LIGHTS WORK THAT ALL ON MY MIRROR ABOVE MY VISORS WORK AND THE LIGHTS DON'T WORK IN THE CENTER TOP EITHER WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTONS. ACTUALLY THOSE HAVEN'T WORKED FOR A REALLY LONG TIME. THIS PROBLEM HAS HAPPENED BEFORE WHERE MY RADIO ACTUALLY HAS GONE OUT COMPLETELY AND I SPY MATER HAS GONE THEM DIM. BUT SCARED ME TODAY BECAUSE IT WAS ACTUALLY DARK OUT AND I COULDN'T SEE HOW FAST I WAS GOING
WE BUY THIS CAR 2 DAY'S AGO AND THE LIGHTS FROM THE WHEELS NEVER TURN OFF WE LEFT THE CAR TO FIX THE PROBLEMS. AND STILL CONTINUE WITH THE LIGHTS ON .THE VEHICLE IS IN THE DEALER RIGHT NOW WITH 2 DAY BUYS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING 60 MPH ON A HIGHWAY WHEN I GOT A MESSAGE ON MY DASH SCREEN SAYING 'SERVICE SHIFTER'. IT DISAPPEARED AFTER ABOUT 3 SECONDS. NOTHING APPEARED AGAIN. THE CAR WAS ACTING FINE. TWO DAYS LATER THE CAR UNLOCKED BY THE REMOTE AND THEN WOULD NOT START. THE SHIFTER KNOB FLASHED RED MULTIPLE TIMES REPEATEDLY. I COULDN'T LOCK THE DOOR OR THE CAR WOULD AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCK ALL DOORS AS IF I HAD THE KEY FOB INSIDE STILL. I COULD NOT START THE CAR, TURN ON ACCESSORIES OR SHIFT INTO ANY GEAR. I HAD POWER TO MY LIGHTS ETC. MY REMOTE WOULDN'T WORK FOR LOCKING OR UNLOCKING OR REMOTE START ANYMORE. I WAS ABLE TO EVENTUALLY START THE CAR AFTER UNHOOKING THE BATTERY CABLE AND REATTACHING IT. TRIED TO DRIVE THE CAR AND WHILE IN DRIVE GOING DOWN THE ROAD ON A PUBLIC STREET IT AUTOMATICALLY SLAMMED THE CAR INTO PARK EVEN THOUGH THE SHIFTER HAD NOT BEEN MOVED. IT STARTED ACTING LIKE THE CAR WAS IN PARK WHEN I HAD BEEN DRIVING. THE SHIFTER ONCE AGAIN STARTED FLASHING RED MULTIPLES TIMES REPEATEDLY AND I COULD MOVE THE SHIFTER THIS TIME, BUT IT DID NOT REGISTER WITH THE CAR. IT STILL ACTED AS IF IT WAS IN PARK. I WAS ABLE TO RESET THE SYSTEM TEMPORARILY BY UNHOOKING THE BATTERY AND REATTACHING IT AGAIN TO GET IT HOME.

The contact stated that all 4 door panels of the vehicle seemed as though they were peeling on the inside of the door, as well as, bubbling towards the top of the door. The center control touch screen began delaminating causing the vehicle to activate certain buttons control different features on the vehicle unintentionally known as phantom inputs. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer who replaced the driver side door under warranty. The other three doors had not been repaired. The diagnosis for the control panel's digitizer had failed and needed to be replaced. The repair had been completed.
