MY DURANGO WAS RECALLED AND WAS FIXED FOR STALLING PROBLEM AND 2 WEEKS LATER IT STALLED AGAIN

THE CONTACT CALLED VICTORY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (64 GREENSBURG ST, DELMONT, PA 15626) TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO REMEDY THE RECALL AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WERE ON BACK ORDER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 148,461.
MY LIFTERS AND CAM SHAFT IS OUT IN MY MOTOR AND WHEN CALLED FOR PRICING FOR A NEW MOTOR THEY SAY THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL NOW I HAVE TO PAY DODGE $3800 DOLLARS TO REPLACE EVERYTHING AND I JUST HAVE 118 THOUSAND MILES I HAVE ALL MY RECEIPTS FOR MY OIL CHANGES ON TIME AND IN MESQUITE, TEXAS

The contact stated while his wife was driving at 45-55 MPH in the rain, the instrument panel lights, the interior and exterior lights of the vehicle inadvertently turned off. The contact also stated the defroster failed to work and the windows were foggy. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated his wife was able to drive to their residence as it was 1 mile away. The dealer was made aware of the failure and advised that the contact would be responsible for the cost of repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer, however the contact replaced the TIPM himself. The contact stated while his wife was driving, she noticed a burning odor and the vehicle inadvertently lost power. The battery warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the battery had failed. The contact stated the battery was replaced, however the vehicle failed to restart and was making an abnormal clicking sound. The contact stated he smelled a burning odor and as he opened the hood of the vehicle, he noticed smoke coming from the alternator. The independent mechanic diagnosed that the alternator needed to be replaced. The contact stated the vehicle was repaired however, the vehicle would not charge normally. The independent mechanic diagnosed that the voltage regulator of the vehicle had failed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was open. The contact also stated the dealer informed that the vehicle was included in the recall for NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V813000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), however the parts for the recall repair were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 130,000. FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS REPLACED UNDER CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V813000 TO RESOLVE IGNITION TURNOVER ISSUE WHEN STARTING MY CAR. AFTER RECALL WAS FIXED IN JANUARY 2021 THE ISSUE STILL PERSISTS.
MY 2011 DURANGO HAD FUEL RELAY RECALL FIX DONE 01/11/2021. 01/22/2021 10:25PM I WAS NEGOTIATING 'IN MOTION' A LEFT TURN AND ENGINE TURNED OFF LIKE IT HAS SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE LEAVING ME IN THE MIDDLE OFF TRAFFIC. I WAS LUCKY YET AGAIN NOT BE KILLED

AFTER THE REPAIR, WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE THE SYMPTOMS STATED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V813000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NO LONGER INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 259,000.
We received notice, by mail, of a safety recall (19V-813) on our Dodge Durango in Jan 2021. We made an appt for 1/13 at Bob Baker Dodge in Carlsbad, CA. Upon arrival, we were told the part was backordered and they would call us when it arrived. Juan Gonzalez was the service advisor we spoke with. In May, after no call, our vehicle began showing signs of the problem. Hesitating, failing to start. We called Juan who stated there were still no parts and he wasn't allowed to keep a list of customers waiting for parts since it would be too extensive. We called Dodge (maybe Mopar) corporate (800-853-1403) on 6/1. Aby gave us a few other dealers to try. After no luck with them, we called back. Tim claimed he would escalate our case and promised someone would call us within 24 hours. After receiving no call, we called again on 6/3. Pam said that our case was never escalated. And had no solution for us. Given the safety recall states "A vehicle stall while driving can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning" we've now rented a car since we're not comfortable driving our Durango. I feel both Dodge/Mopar and our local dealer are simply dragging their feet on this safety recall.
IF IT GETS BELOW FREEZING, MY CAR WILL NOT START. MY VEHICLE WILL SIT OVERNIGHT AND IN THE MORNING IT CANNOT START. WE HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING. IT TURNS OVER AGAIN AND AGAIN. THIS IS EFFECTING MY WORK SCHEDULE. WE NEED A SOLUTION. BECAUSE WAITING FIVE HOURS FOR IT TO WARM UP OUTSIDE IS NOT CUTTING IT
RECALLED 11/14/2019 V62/NHTSA 19-V813. NO AS OF THIS DATE. DIFFICULT STARTING, HAS STALLED SEVERAL TIMES IN CITY TRAFFIC. HAVE TO WAIT SEVERAL MINUTES AND PRAY IT STARTS. AFRAID ONE OF THESE DAYS IT WILL NOT START, STALL ON THE HIGHWAY AND CAUSE ACCIDENT. HAS BEEN ON GOING SINCE AUGUST AND TODAY AS WELL. NO RESOLUTION AND I AM SCARED
WHILE DRIVING AT ABOUT 25 MPH, THE NUETRAL LIGHT AT THE AWD HIGH AND LOW SHIFT KNOB LIT UP AND THE VEHICLE STUCK INTO LOW. UPON TRYING TO GET IT TO SHIFT INTO HIGH THE TRANSMISSION STUCK IN NEUTRAL AND WILL NOT MOVE.
NOTHING HAS HAPPENED YET. ONLY 55,000 MILES ON IT.
WHILE DRIVING MY DODGE DURANGO ON CITY STREETS AS WELL AS MULTI LANE HIGHWAY THE VEHICLE WILL UNEXPECTEDLY EXPERIENCE A STALL CONDITION. I HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS FAILURE APPROXIMATELY SIX TIMES. PLACING THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL WHILE IN MOTION TO ATTEMPT A RESTART WAS UNSUCCESSFUL AS I FOUND THAT THE VEHICLE MUST BE IN PARK FOR A RESTART. THIS IS ESPECIALLY CONCERNING ON THE MULTILANE HIGHWAY AT 50 MPH SPEEDS, AS THE POTENTIAL FOR COLLISION WITHOUT POWER IS OF GREAT RISK TO ME. HAVING TO PLACE A VEHICLE IN PARK IF UNABLE TO COAST TO SHOULDER OR CURB LANE PUTS EVERYONE IN THE AREA AT RISK OF COLLISION AND EXPOSING MYSELF AND FAMILY TO A REAR END COLLISION AT INCREASED HIGHWAY SPEEDS. ON CITY STREETS I HAVE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH WHILE MID TURN THROUGH AN INTERSECTION RESULTING IN ME BLOCKING THE INTERSECTION WHILE ATTEMPTING A RESTART. THIS HAS OCCURRED IN BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT HAND TURNS. OF NOTE MY FAMILY MEMBERS WITH LESS DRIVING EXPERIENCE COULD BE AT RISK OF COLLISION/INJURY SHOULD THE ENGINE DIE SUDDENLY. I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED APPROXIMATELY TWENTY OCCURRENCES WHERE MY VEHICLE FAILS TO START. I HAVE NOTED THAT THIS USUALLY OCCURS AFTER A SHORT DRIVE WITH AN ATTEMPT TO RESTART AFTER APPROXIMATELY 30 MINS WHICH RESULTS IN THE NO START CONDITION. AN EXAMPLE WOULD BE A TRIP TO A GROCERY STORE. FRUSTRATING BEYOND BELIEF. CHRYSLER SERVICE CENTER UNABLE TO HELP AS NO PARTS OR REMEDY AVAILABLE FOR THE ORDERED RECALL. CONTACTED FIAT/CHRYSLER REP BUT HE WAS OF NO ASSISTANCE. THE REP INSISTED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO DRIVE BUT I STRONGLY DISAGREE. HIS REMEDY IS TO TOW THE VEHICLE AT MY COST TO THE DEALER UPON EXPERIENCING STALL BUT I FEEL THAT DRIVING THE VEHICLE TO FAILURE IS GROSSLY NEGLIGENT.THIS DODGE DURANGO IS NOT ONLY UNRELIABLE HAVING EXPERIENCED SO MANY NO START CONDITIONS BUT THE STALL AT SPEED IS CERTAINLY UNSAFE.
2011 DODGE DURANGO CREW AWD 3.6L I HAVE BEEN EXPERICENCING NO START OR STALL OUT ON THE TRUCK. I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK TO ANCHORAGE CHRYSLER DODGE IN ANCHORAGE ALASKA FOR FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL REPAIR. THEY STATED THAT OVER THE 3 DAY THEY HAD MY TRUCK THAT IT STARTED EVERY TIME BUT DID STALL OUT TWICE. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO FIX THE RECALL STATING THAT THE NO START ISSUE DID NOT HAPPEN WHILE IN THERE CARE BUT THAT IT DID START AND STALL OUT. IT WAS SUGGESTED TO ME BY THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT NEXT TIME I HAVE THE ISSUE TO HAVE IT TOWED TO ANCHORAGE CHRYSLER DODGE. MY VEHICLE WILL AT RANDOM NOT START OR WILL START AND STALL OUT. THE DEALERSHIP STATES THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH THEY DID STATE THAT IT WOULD START AND STALL OUT FOR THEM.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE DURANGO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE IDLE AT A RED LIGHT THEN PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE'S POWER SUDDENLY SHUT OFF COMPLETELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AS WELL AS, THE PCM. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEIR VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.
ON AUGUST 22, 2020 WHILE DRIVING TO AND FROM A RESTAURANT MY CAR COMPONENTS NOTIFIED ME OF A BATTERY ISSUE WITH THE RED LIGHT ON. I THEN KEPT DRIVING TO PARK THE CAR AND WHILE THE CAR WAS PARKED IT STARTED TO STALL UNUSUALLY BUT THE ENGINE CAR DID NOT STOP COMPLETELY. THEN THERE WAS HEAT COMING IN FROM THE AIR CONDITION VENTS WITH A RUBBERY SMELL THEN I HAD TO TURN THE CAR OFF. I DID NOT WANT TO OPEN THE HOOD BECAUSE THERE WAS SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE ENGINE. I WAS AFRAID OPENING THE HOOD MIGHT HAVE CAUSED A FIRE FEEDING OXYGEN TO THE ENGINE. I CALLED USAA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND PROVIDED ME WITH A WRECKER WITH ASSUMED NAME SALLY'S TOWING SERVICE. THE WRECKER WAS UNABLE TO JUMP START THE CAR AND MOVIE IT NEUTRALLY. HE HAD TO FORCIBLY PULL THE CAR WITH THE TIRES LOCKED ONTO THE FLAT BED. WE TOOK IT TO OUR MECHANIC AT USA MOTORS. OUR MECHANIC INSPECTED IT AND FOUND A RARE OCCURRENCE IN WHICH THE ALTERNATOR WAS OVERCHARGING THE BATTERY CAUSING THE BATTERY AND THE POWER TRAIN CONTROL MODULE TO MELT THUS CAUSING THE SMOKE AND FOUL ODOR AND THE CAR LEFT WITH NO POWER OR CONTROL.
THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY (IN MOTION). HAVE HAD IT LOOKED AT AND REPAIRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE HAS A HISTORY OF NOT STARTING AFTER IT HAS BEEN SHUT OFF FOR A FEW MINUTES(STATIONARY). AFTER MANY SERVICE REPAIRS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SPENT THE CAR STILL WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE RECALL CAME OUT NOVEMBER 14, 2019, AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE WASN'T AN AVAILABLE PART FOR THIS RECALL AS OF 12/5/2020.
MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN STALLING AFTER I TURN IT ON SECOND TRY IT WILL SOUND LIKE I'M RUNNING OUT OF GAS THIRD TIME IS A CHARM CAR WILL STAY ON BUT SOMETIMES HESITATE TO WHEN PUSHING THE GAS WHEN AT A COMPLETE STOP CAR FEELS LIKE IT'S GOING TO STALL UNTIL I TAP THE GAS THERE IS ALSO A CRACKLE IN THE DASH BOARD WHEN CAR IS ON AC TURNS ON, ON IT'S OWN I'VE CONTACTED THE DEALER WITH THESE ISSUES AND THEY TELL ME THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS RECALL AND DOES NOT SEND MY CAR IN FOR AN INSPECTION

THE ENGINE DEVELOPED A MISFIRE ON CYLINDER 3. AFTER DIAGNOSES, IT TURNED OUT THE LIFTER FOR THAT CYLINDER HAD FAILED, AND THE CAMSHAFT LOBE WAS GROUND DOWN, CAUSING A MISFIRE. SADLY THIS IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE. WE HAVE ONLY 90K MILES ON OUR VERY WELL MAINTAINED DURANGO.
ALTERNATOR FAILURE
MY CAR GETS STUCK IN 4LOW WHEN IN AWD. CAR STALLS ALL THE TIME THEY HAVE NOT FIXED THAT RECALL AS OF YET. MY CHECK ENGINE COMES ON AND TIRE SENSORS TO 0 ON ALL SIDES WHEN TIRES ARE FINE. I CAN'T TURN LEFT OR RIGHT WITHOUT CLUNKING JERKING. DODGE DEALER KNOWS THE TRANSFER CASES HAVE ISSUES BUT NO RECALLS. THE DODGE FORUM IS FULL OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT SAME ISSUE HAPPENING TO LEAST 20 OTHERS I HAVE SEEN SO FAR. I'M BEING CHARGED ABOUT $5000 TO CHANGE TRANSFER SWITCH AND CASE NOW. BUT WITH SO MANY OF US WHY HASN'T THIS BEEN RECALLED. I THINK THE WHOLE PROBLEM IS OUR COMPUTERS ARE FAULTY. I HAVE ALL KINDS OF LIGHTS FLASHING UP AT TIMES FOR NO REASON AND NO CODES ARE FOUND WITH CEL ON. I WAS DRIVING OUT OF A STORE CAR PARK WHEN LIGHT FLASHED AND CAR GOT STUCK IN 4LOW NOW I LIVE ONLY TO GET TO IS FROM A HIGHWAY AND WHEN THAT IS 55MPH AND I CAN ONLY GO 20MPH WITH WIDE TURNS WE HAVE AN ISSUE.
HAVE TRIED THREE TIME TO GET MCKENNY DODGE TO FIX SAFETY RECALL FOR TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE BUT CONTINUE TO BE TOLD THE PARTS FOR A FIX HAVE NOT BEEN PROVIDED. EARLIER THIS YEAR THE CAR INTERMITTENTLY LOST POWER AND THEY REPLACED THE OIL PUMP ($1432). NOW I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY REPLACED CAM POSITION SENSOR ($280) BUT 'CHECK ENGINE LIGHT' STILL ON AND PROBLEM STILL EXISTS SO NOW THEY WANT TO REPLACE THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH AND OIL FILTER HOUSING FOR OVE $1,000. BUT WITH NO ASSURANCE THAT IT FIXES THE PROBLEM. COULD THE RECALL ISSUE WITH YHE INTERNAL FUEL PUMP RELAY BE CAUSING THE INTERMITTENT HESITATION. WHY WOULD THIS RECALL THAT COULD CAUSE 'AN INTERMITTENT OR FAILED FUEL PUMP RELAY' THAT COULD 'CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL WHILE DRIVING AND CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING' NOT BE FIXED AFTER BEING IDENTIFIED OVER A YEAR AGO.

The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would independently stop as the forward collision avoidance warning light would illuminate on the instrument panel. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V813000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) and took the vehicle to a dealer for the recall repair. Upon return of the vehicle, the contact stated that the failure recurred on three separate occasions. The contact took the vehicle back to the dealer where they were unable to diagnose the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 87,000.
I HAD A FUEL PUMP RELAY REPLACED IN 2015, AND HAVE HAD A LOT OF SMALL PROBLEMS WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OVER THE YEARS. ONCE THE VEHICLE PASSED 80,000 MILES THIS YEAR ALL KINDS OF THINGS STARTED HAPPENING. THE COOLING SYSTEM WENT HAYWIRE AND MY AUTO REPAIR SHOP HAD TO REPLACE THE RADIATOR. I'VE BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH MY VEHICLE HESITATING TO START LIKE IT IS NOT GETTING FUEL, AND HAVE TROUBLE ACCELERATING SO I CANNOT PULL OUT IN HEAVY TRAFFIC UNLESS THERE IS A GOOD BREAK WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS HAVING A HEMI V8 ENGINE! I'VE BEEN TOWED TWICE THIS YEAR WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START AT ALL BUT THEN IT ENDED UP STARTING WHEN IT GOT TO MY AUTO REPAIR SHOP OR THE DEALER. I WAS NOT ONLY EMBARRASSED BUT WASTED TIME AND MONEY. MY MECHANIC DID A LOT OF DIAGNOSTICS AND RULED OUT EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE FUEL PUMP RELAY. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND LEARNED ABOUT THE RECALL SO I WENT TO THE DEALER AND ASKED THEM TO APPLY THE FIX. THEY HASSLED ME AND SAID THEY 'CAN NOT TRUST YOUR MECHANICS' AND MADE ME PAY FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND SAID THERE WAS NO FIX FOR THE RECALL. THEY ENDED UP FINDING ANOTHER PROBLEM BASICALLY TELLING ME MY MECHANICS WERE WRONG AND CHARGED ME OVER $800 FOR A NEW PCM. THEY DID INSTALL A NEW FUEL PUMP RELAY AT MY INSISTENCE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE ORIGINAL PART AND NOT A FIXED PART. IT RESOLVED THE STARTING ISSUE AND I STOPPED GETTING ANY WARNING LIGHTS. THE VEHICLE STILL DIDN'T ACCELERATE OR HANDLE PROPERLY AND NOT EVEN FOUR MONTHS LATER AND THE SAME PROBLEM IS HAPPENING AGAIN! THE FUEL PUMP RELAY IS OBVIOUSLY FAILING AGAIN AND I AM NOT CONFIDENT THE PCM HAD A PROBLEM IF I'M STILL GETTING THE SAME ISSUES. COULD IT BE THE TIPM I KEEP READING ABOUT? THE DEALER DIDN'T MENTION THAT. I'M AFRAID I AM GOING TO BE STRANDED WITH CHILDREN OR WORSE THAT THE VEHICLE IS GOING TO CUT OUT WHILE MOVING IN TRAFFIC!! I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH AND THE CAR STALLED SHORTLY AFTER THE ETC INDICATOR LIGHT STARTED FLASHING NEXT TO A "FCW OFF" AND ORANGE TRIANGLES APPEARED IN MY SIDE VIEW MIRRORS. THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, ACC OFF INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON ALONG SIDE WITH THE ESC LIGHT. IT STARTED BACK UP SO I TOOK IT TO FIRESTONE FOR A DIAGNOSTIC, THEY SAID IT WAS SOME MINOR ELECTRICAL ISSUES BUT THE TORQUE CONVERTER ON THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE FIXED FIRST AND INFORMED ME THAT THEY DIDNT DO ANY TRANSMISSION WORK.THEY REFERRED ME TO A-TEAM TRANSMISSIONS, TOOK IT A GOT A SECOND DIAGNOSTIC AND I WAS TOLD THAT IT WASN'T A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM BUT SUGGESTED IT WAS THE ABS SYSTEM. THEY SAID THEY DIDNT WORK ON IT SO I TOOK IT TO A THIRD AUTO CARE SHOP AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR. HAD IT CLEANED AND THE PROBLEM STILL RESULTED IN JERKING, LOSING COMPRESSION, AND OCCASIONALLY WANTING TO STALL. I COULDN'T GET A STRAIGHT AND I DIDN'T WANT TO PAY FOR ANYMORE DIAGNOSTICS. HOOKED UP MY OBD II DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM AND THE ONLY CODES I GOT WERE P0113, P0300, P0304, AND P0340. PARKED MY CAR IN MY BACK YARD AND TRIED TO AVOID USING IT UNTIL IT HAS BEEN FIXED.

THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE AND CONFIRMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 127,000.

ITS BEEN ABOUT 5 MONTHS I HAVE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES TO THE DEALER . EVERY TIME I CALL THEY STATE THERES NO FIX AS YET. ON APRIL 7 2020 I TOOK MY SUV TO THE REPAIR SHOP AND THEY PUT IN ANOTHER FUEL PUMP RELAY BUT MY TRUCK IS STILL AT THE POINT OF STALLING OUT. I WAS TOLD THIS IS A TEMPORARY FIX UNTIL THE MANUFACTURER HAS A FIX ON THE RECALL. I AM VERY AFRAID OF STALLING OUT ON THE HIGHWAY AT HIGH SPEED .PLEASE HELP. MY 2011 DODGE DURANGO WAS IN PARK AND RUNNING WHEN MY FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS CAME ON, AND I COULD NOT SHUT THEM OFF. I ALSO CAME TO REALIZE MY STEERING WHEEL AND DASH ACCESSORIES WERE INOPERABLE (INCLUDING MY HORN AND BLINKERS). MY TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON ALONG WITH FCW/ ACC SYSTEM FAILURE LIGHT. I BROUGHT MY DURANGO TO THE RAINBOW DODGE DEALERSHIP. THEY ADVISED ME THAT THE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, BUT THE PART WAS ON BACK ORDER. SINCE THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PART, I ORDERED THE PART MYSELF AND HAD IT REPLACED. CHANGING THE PART DID NOT FIX MY PROBLEM. I WENT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO LET THEM KNOW I CHANGED THE PART, AND IT DID NOT FIX MY PROBLEM. I ASKED THEM HOW DID THEY KNOW IT WAS THE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR, AND WHAT DID THE SCANNER SHOW... THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY DID NOT PUT MY VEHICLE ON A SCANNER TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE. (WHICH THEY CHARGED ME $147 FOR THAT DIAGNOSIS.) I HAVE TO PLUG IN/PULL OUT MY WIPER FUSE TO USE WHEN NEEDED. I DO NOT HAVE BLINKERS OR A HORN. THIS SOUNDS LIKE A SIMILAR RECALL ON THE ESC IN THE 2013-2014 MODELS WHERE THERE IS A DEBRIS COVERING DISABLING PROPER CONNECTION TO MY TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM. IT IS DANGEROUS TO BE DRIVING WITHOUT BLINKERS AND A HORN AND FAULTY WINDSHIELD WIPERS.

I WAS DRIVING MY CAR ONE AFTERNOON AFTER WORK AND ALL OF A SUDDEN ALL THE LIGHTS ON MY DASHBOARD LIT UP.
