There have been several times where I am stopped at a light or stop sign and the car stalls. It happens when I try to start going from the stop, not while I'm stopped. I believe this an issue that has been recalled already, but obviously, it did not fix the problem. My vehicle will also not turn over sometimes. It just continually try to turn over multiple times and I have to wait for it to stop on its own before I can try again.
Vehicle has been recalled 2 separate times for fuel pump wiring harness which causes no start and possible stall. Vehicle is still having no start issues after being serviced for recall.
I am trying to submit a report that a Dealer is not providing me service for a recall but there isn't a link to do so, only a missive telling me that i should. I am being told by the dealer that the parts to fix the Fuel pump relay problem on the 2012 Dodge Durango are in a National shortage at the moment but they will not provide me with documentation that proves this so i am unable to ship my vehicle home.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT RECENTLY WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45-50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. ZEIGLER CHRYSLER DODGE RAM (3939 STADIUM DR, KALAMAZOO, MI 49008, 269-290-1152) WHO HAD PERFORMED THE RECALL REPAIR WAS CONTACTED AND AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED WHICH WAS STILL PENDING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
DODGE HAS ISSUES A RECALL TO THE FUEL PUMP RELAY. IN THE RECALL LETTER IS STATES "A VEHICLE ENGINE STALL WHILE DRIVING CAN CAUSE A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING". I'VE CALLED THE DEALER AND TOLD THE RECALL PARTS ARE ON BACKORDER AND WOULD ARRIVE IN 2-3 WKS. I CALLED, THE PARTS ARE RESTRICTED MEANING THEY ARE ONLY SHIPPING 1 PART PER DEALER PER WEEK AND TALKING TO THE PARTS MANAGER MY CAR WILL NOT RECEIVE IT'S RECALL PARTS FOR MONTHS OUT. MY CAR IS UNRELIABLE AND UNSAFE TO DRIVE IN WINTER CONDITIONS IN CHICAGO. THIS IS COMPLETELY ABSURD. DODGE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED ABSOLUTELY NO REMEDIES AFTER TALKING WITH A CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT A WEEK AFTER THE REPAIR, THE STARTED TO EXPERIENCE FAILURES WITH THE FUEL PUMP. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE PULLING INTO A PARKING LOT AT LESS THAN 5 MPH, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STALLED. THE CONTACT PLACED THE VEHICLE INTO PARK AND THEN TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON. THE VEHICLE REVVED UP AND FAILED TO START. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT TOWED THE VEHICLE TO MTN VIEW CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (6276 ALABAMA HWY, RINGGOLD, GA 30736; (706) 935-2328). THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FUEL PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 131,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
FUEL PUMP RELAY NHTSA V62, 19V-813 WHILE PRESSING THE ELECTRONIC IGNITION SWITCH TO START MY VEHICLE, MY VEHICLE WENT INTO A NO-START CONDITION WHERE THE VEHICLE CRANKED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE STALLING OUT COMPLETELY. AFTER PRESSING THE ELECTRONIC IGNITION SWITCH TO THE OFF POSITION AND OPENING-UP MY DRIVER'S DOOR TO RESET THE VEHICLE. I WAS ABLE TO PRESS THE ELECTRONIC IGNITION SWITCH AGAIN AND START MY VEHICLE. THIS IS CONCERNING BECAUSE I HAVE HAD THE LATEST V62 RECALL REPAIR DONE CORNING THIS MATTER.

THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOSS MOTIVE POWER AND STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER, TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE, AND WAITED FOR APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND OPERATED AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 190,000.

AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED, THE VEHICLE OPERATED AS INTENDED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER SPORT CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE LOCATED AT 200 E. CHESTNUT ST, FORT BRAGG, CA 95437, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS FAULTY. THE FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT YET NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74,300.
8/26/2020 FUEL PUMP RELAY FAILED, WAS TOWED TO DEALERSHIP, I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR FOR THE INTERIM REPAIR AND HAD TO SUBMIT FOR REIMBURSEMENT FROM DODGE. A WEEK LATER THE VEHICLE STALLED OUT GOING DOWN HILL, TWICE IN ONE DAY. THE VEHICLE WILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP ONCE THE OFFICIAL PARTS COME IN, ( EVERYTHING IS DELAYED DUE TO COVID).
THE RECALL V62 HAS BEEN KNOWN FOR 2 YEARS. NO PARTS ARE AVAILABLE TO FIX THE RECALL. MY VEHICLE IS NON-DRIVEABLE AT THE DEALERSHIP WAITING ON A PART TO FIX IT THAT IS "UNAVAILABLE". NO RENTAL WAS OFFERED NOR ANY TIME FRAME OF WHEN THE PART WOULD BE AVAILABLE WAS GIVEN.
FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL STILL NOT FIXED. THIS IS ONE OF THE VEHICLES THAT IS FAILING. IT IS A DANGER TO DRIVE. IT STALLS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, TAKES A VERY LONG TIME TO START. WHEN IT STALLS THE BRAKING FAILS (MY MAIN CONCERN). CONTACTED CHRYSLER MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY TELL ME KEEP DRIVING THE CAR, NO FIX ANYTIME SOON. THE RECALLL STARTED LAST YEAR. A DEADLINE OR ANOTHER TEMPORARY VEHICLE SHOULD REALLY BE PUT IN PLACE.
VEHICLE HAS STALLED MULTIPLE TIMES. EITHER RIGHT AFTER START UP OR WHILE DRIVING. IN ALL CASES I HAVE FOUND THAT THE 20 AMP FUSE THAT WAS INSTALLED FOR RECALL R09 FROM 2015 IS MELTING AND CAUSING THE FUEL PUMP RELAY TO FAIL WHICH IS CAUSING THE STALL CONDITION. THE FUSE IS EASILY REPLACED BUT THE STALLING IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE FREQUENT, HAPPENING AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. DODGE SAYS THERE IS NO REMEDY FOR THIS AND THERE ARE NO PARTS TO JUST REPLACE THE CURRENT SET UP. SO NOW I AM STUCK WITH THIS ISSUE UNTIL DODGE FIGURES OUT WHAT IS WRONG. EACH INSTANCE OF STALLING HAS OCCURED AT 25 MPH OR LESS BUT ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE IT HAPPENS AT A HIGHER SPEED.

IT TOOK 30 MINUTES FOR MY HUSBAND TO CRANK MY CAR. HE HAD TO TAP ON RELAYS IN THE FUSE BOX TO GET IT GOING. THE CAR WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY AND HAD NOT BEEN DRIVEN SINCE THE PRIOR EVENING. WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO ASK ABOUT RECALL AND THEY SAID CHRYSLER HAD NOT COME UP WITH A FIX YET. SO THE QUESTION IS. WHAT DO WE DO IF WE KEEP HAVING ISSUES?

THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V813000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), BUT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 168,000.
STALLING RANDOMLY WHILE DRIVING ALL POWER CUTS OUT. HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. STILL AT DEALERSHIP 3 MONTHS LATER FOR A RECALL AND NO PIECE AVAILABLE YET ACCORDING TO CHRYSLER. FUEL PUMP RELAY. NO ESTIMATED DATE FOR REPLACEMENT. BEYOND UPSET. I WANT MY VEHICLE BACK . CHRYSLER NEEDS TO GET A REMEDY AND FAST FOR ITS CUSTOMERS. IT'S A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE AND PEOPLE NEED THEIR OWN VEHICLES. NOT A RENTAL IT SHOULDN'T TAKE THIS LONG. THEY SHOULD HAVE A PIECE MADE OR AT LEAST AN ESTIMATED TIME WHEN THEY WILL HAVE IT FOR CUSTOMERS.
3 YEARS AFTER HAVING MY FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL PERFORMED ON MY 2012 DURANGO CREW THE SAME EXACT SYMPTOMS ARE HAPPENING. STALLING OUT WHILE DRIVING AND THE CAR WILL TRY TO CRANK BUT NOT FULLY TURN OVER. PUT THE DURANGO IN THE SHOP AND IT'S THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN THE FUEL PUMP RELAY AND WE HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE REPAIR. THIS PART SHOULD NOT BE FAILING AGAIN AFTER A 30,000 MILE 3YEAR DIFFERENCE ON A 70,000 MILE CAR. WHAT EVER PARTS THEY USED FOR RECALL ARE FAULTY AND EVENTUALLY FAIL. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HAVE MY FUEL PUMP RELAY CHANGED AGAIN ON THIS CAR. DODGE NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND FIX THE ISSUE THE FIRST TIME AND NOT PUT BURDEN ON THEIR CUSTOMERS OF THEIR DEFECTS. I'M PUTTING THIS OUT THERE FOR ANYONE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AFTER THEIR RECALL WAS FIXED. COMPLAIN! SO WE AREN'T RESPONSIBLE FOR DODGE MISTAKES.
