The active headrest failed. It is a safety issue due to it failing out of nowhere with no signs of an issue. It broke free and pushed my head forward aggressively causing neck pain. I am a licensed mechanic and verified the cause of failure.
I cannot buckle in my driver side seatbelt. I contacted the dealership I bought my car from and they said 361 parts have been ordered nationwide and no one is receiving the seat belt buckle part.
Passenger seat Headrest popped out for no reason. Got a headache from it cause of the impact it caused. Was only driving in my neighborhood at 25mph. No accident occurred

B post seat belt path mount is cracking like on the current recall for this year and model.
While driving down the road the passengers headrest exploded and now I can’t get it to close back. Almost caused an accident.
Air bag stating it needs serviced the light will come on periodically it is not present every-time vehicle is driven.
Passenger Occupant Detection system is faulty. Airbag service system indicator light comes and goes. The vehicle has been seen by an independent service center and they say this is a common issue with dodge and thus issue should be covered by dodge.
1. I had just entered my 2015 Dodge Durango Citadel and shut the driver side door when the driver side headrest safety restraint burst open unexpectedly hitting the back of my head and thrusting it forward. Thus far, I have suffered muscle pain and soreness requiring an x-ray and some medications. 2. I had not yet started the engine. The car was sitting still in the parking lot and it was not running when the incident occurred. It frightens me thinking how bad this could have turned out had I been driving down the interstate at 70 mph or if one of my grand daughters had been sitting in that seat. 3. Post incident my husband drove the vehicle to the dealership where it was purchased, they removed the headrest and informed him Dodge had issued an extended warranty on the headrest so there would be no charge (the headrest is still at the dealership). They had to order a new headrest however, they sent him home driving the Dodge Durango with a disabled airbag system (UNSAFE). This has been a known issue with Chrysler-Jeep-DODGE since 2010 and there has been no recall. 4.The vehicle has not been inspected by anyone. I have notified my insurance company and Dodge Customer Service. There were NO warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the incident. 5. I have a call in to the dealership requesting a loaner vehicle to drive as mine is unsafe with a disabled airbag system.
One seatbelt failed completely, refused to retract. The other one is failing. The first is in the process of getting replaced and the second is inevitably going to fail. Somehow this vehicle is not covered under the extended protection regarding the seatbelt for the 2013-2015 Dodge Durangos and Jeep Cherokees that had this problem. The dealers will not provide assistance and this a safety issue for me and my family.
Front passenger seat belt won’t retract. Rocker arms ticking. They were fixed 15 months ago and ticking again
Passenger Occupant Detection system is faulty. Airbag service system indicator light comes and goes. The vehicle has been seen by an independent service center and they say this is a common issue with dodge and thus issue should be covered by dodge.
The passengers seatbelt no longer retracts . Have to pay OOP to get it replaced seat was barely used and had my 17 year old sit in the seat who is lengthy and skinny the seatbelt no longer will go back in…. Not happy this should be included in the recall.
Car was parked and off when the passenger headrest airbag deployed. No one was in the vehicle during the incident. The driver and passenger seat belt guide are cracked.
Hello, I just had my two front seatbelts replaced because of the safety recall of the pretensioners. I also noticed that the 3rd row seatbelts are having the same issue the upper part that holds the seatbelt is cracked and seatbelts won't retract back in once my kids use them I need to manually feed them back in inch by inch until it all goes back in slowly.
Can not understand how a buckle can stop working being that it is a safety item required to be used and policed by every state there is nothing in the buckle it is just failed and does not buckle or clasp.
The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Durango. The contacts stated while driving at 40 MPH, the front driver’s side headrest was deployed inadvertently. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact sustained pain in the neck and a headache. The contact did not seek medical assistance. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall associated with the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 107,340.
Rear row seatbelt failed and no longer retracts. This happened at 60k miles with occasional use. Many users Report seatbelt problems in the driver, passenger and second row which is currently covered under an extended warranty. However, the third row is not covered and made with the same defective parts.
