OUR POWER LOCKS QUIT WORKING. WE HAVE TRIED GETTING A NEW BATTERY WHICH WORKED FOR A WHOLE DAY THEN THEY STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. WE HAVE TRIED REPLACING THE FUSE AND IT WORKED FOR A DAY AND THEN IT STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL OUT FOR THE LOCKS. THE LOCKS DO NOT WORK ON EITHER THE REMOTE OR IN THE VEHICLE ITSELF. THE ONLY LOCKS THAT WORK IS FOR THE TRUNK BUT BESIDES THAT NONE OF THE DOORS WORK. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DOOR LOCKS WERE INOPERABLE. NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER NOR THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,980 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 46,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
POWER DOOR LOCKS FAILURE! THIS PROBLEM STARTED A MONTH AGO WHEN THE POWER-LOCKS JUST QUIT WORKING. SO I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE CAR MANUAL WHERE YOU CAN REPROGRAM THE LOCKS BY SWITCHING THE IGNITION KEY 4 TIMES ENDING IN THE OFF POSITION AND THEN AFTER 10 SECONDS TURN THE DOOR LOCK ON, A CHIME WILL SOUND, IT DID BUT LOCKS STILL DO NOT WORK. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A FUSE SO I REMOVED THE IOD FUSE AND PUT IT BACK IN 5 SEC. THE LOCKS STARTED TO WORK AGAIN. THIS LASTED ABOUT 2 OR 3 TIMES AND THEN THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO RETURN EVENTUALLY. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN AND THE VEHICLE SHOULD BE A RECALL. DODGE SHOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS AND MADE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *KB
HEADLIGHTS EITHER WILL NOT TURN ON OR GO OUT WHILE DRIVING. PARKING AND TAIL LIGHTS NOT EFFECTED. FLIPPING SWITCH ON AND OFF WILL SOMETIMES WORK. UPDATED IVOQ 10/19/11. *JB *TR
THE POWER DOOR LOCKS ARE FAILING REGULARLY. PULLING THE IOD FUSE AND REINSERTING RESOLVES THE ISSUE FOR A FEW HOURS TO A FEW DAYS, AT WHICH TIME THE DOOR LOCKS STOP WORKING AGAIN. FAILURE PREVENTS KEY PHOB, INSIDE LOCK SWITCH AND AUTO LOCK FEATURES FROM WORKING. *TR
FLYWHEEL CRACKED AT AROUND 102,000 MILES CAUSING MAJOR JERKING OF THE VEHICLE WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED FROM FIRST TO SECOND GEAR. I WAS TOLD BY MY MECHANIC THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE AND THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A RECALL. I DID REPLACE THE FLYWHEEL WHICH COST CLOSE TO $800.00. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WHEN SHE NOTICED THAT SHE COULD NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOORS USING THE KEY FOB. THE CONTACT HAD TO USE THE KEY TO MANUALLY ENTER THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE LIGHTING ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND THE BRAKE LIGHTS STOPPED ILLUMINATING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TURN SIGNAL INTERMITTENTLY FAILS TO WORK AT ALL. WORSE, LEFT SIGNAL WILL BE SELECTED, BUT RIGHT SIGNAL WILL BE DELIVERED. SOMETIMES, SIGNAL WORKS CORRECTLY. DANGEROUS. WIPERS WORK VERY UNPREDICATABLY, OR NOT AT ALL. WILL NOT COME ON, THEN WILL NOT GO OFF. WILL RUN VERY FAST OR VERY SLOW, AND WON'T ADJUST. *TR
I PURCHASED A DODGE GRAND CARAVAN NEW IN 2005. YESTERDAY I HAD A FLAT TIRE AND TRIED TO ACCESS THE SPARE TIRE. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE AS IT WAS FROZEN IN PLACE. I CALLED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND THEY SUGGESTED I USE A PRY BAR TO FREE IT. I BELIEVE THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW AND THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE DRIVING AROUND BELIEVING THEY HAVE A SPARE TIRE WHILE IN REALITY, THE SPARE IS INACCESSIBLE. I COULD HAVE BEEN STRANDED OR IN AN UNSAFE AREA. *TR

THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY LOCK THE DOORS MANUALLY. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE FUSES FOR THE DOOR LOCKS, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED AFTER A FEW WEEKS. THE CONTACT AGAIN REPLACED THE FUSES, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
I PURCHASED TWO GOODYEAR INTEGRITY TIRES ON 6/10/11 FROM DUNCAN'S AUTO REPAIR IN LINCOLNTON, NC. YESTERDAY, 8/7/11, I DROVE LESS THAN 5 MILES FROM MY HOME TO PICK UP DINNER AND BACK HOME (ALL ON HARD SURFACE ROADS). THERE WAS NO DEBRIS IN THE ROAD, I DID NOT RUN OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, AND I DID NOT HIT ANYTHING. WHEN I PULLED INTO MY GARAGE AND TURNED THE CAR OFF, I HEARD A HISSING NOISE AND FOUND THAT MY TIRE WAS RAPIDLY GOING FLAT. MY HUSBAND TOOK THE TIRE OFF AND FOUND THAT THE INSIDE SIDEWALL ON THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE WAS SPLIT IN THREE PLACES. HE PUT THE SPARE TIRE ON SO THAT I COULD GO TO DUNCAN'S AUTO REPAIR IMMEDIATELY THE NEXT MORNING. I DID SOME ONLINE RESEARCH PRIOR TO TAKING THE TIRE TO THE SHOP WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED AND SAW MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS FOR SIDEWALL SPLITS IN GOODYEAR INTEGRITY TIRES. I HAVE THREE OTHER GOODYEAR INTEGRITY TIRES ON MY CAR, ALL LESS THAN A YEAR OLD. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT SIMILAR INCIDENTS. THANKFULLY I WAS NOT GOING ABOVE 55 MPH AND DID NOT HAVE MY TWO CHILDREN WITH ME. A SERIOUS ACCIDENT COULD HAVE OCCURRED IF I HAD BEEN GOING FASTER OR WAS FURTHER FROM HOME. *TR
THROUGHOUT THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE THE FOG LIGHTS HAVE RANDOMLY CYCLED ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING WITH THE HEADLIGHTS ON. HOWEVER LAST SUMMER THE MAIN HEADLIGHTS STARTED RANDOMLY SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT IN ADDITION TO THE FOG LIGHTS CYCLING ON AND OFF DESPITE THE SWITCH FOR THE FOGLIGHTS BEING OFF. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE. USUALLY TOGGLING THE SWITCH ON AND OFF CAN GET THE HEADLIGHTS TO TURN BACK ON. RECENTLY I WAS UNABLE TO GET THEM TO COME BACK ON FOR APPROXIMATELY 1/2 MILE. I WAS IN A WELL LIT AREA AT THE TIME, BUT THIS IS STILL A SAFETY ISSUE. SOMETIMES AFTER I TURN OFF THE HEADLIGHTS AND SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE THEY CYCLE ON AND OFF SEVERAL TIMES, BUT I HAVE BEEN LUCKY THEY HAVE NO STAYED ON AND DRAINED MY BATTERY. I SEARCHED FOR THE ISSUE ONLINE TO SEE IF THERE WAS A RESOLUTION AND FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON VARIOUS SITES FOR THIS SAME ISSUE IN THE 2005 GRAND CARAVAN AS WELL AS THE ISSUE I HAVE WITH THE POWER DOOR LOCKS THAT IS RESOLVED BY REMOVING THE IOD FUSE AND PUTTING IT BACK IN. THERE SEEMS TO BE A SIGNIFICANT ELECTRICAL PROBLEM IN THIS VEHICLE THAT HAS GONE UNADDRESSED. *TR

THE CONTACT HAD TO DISABLE THE BATTERY TO RESET THE AUTOMATIC LOCK SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKS HAVE FAILED. CAR IS STILL FLASHING HEADLIGHTS & BEEPING THAT CAR IS LOCKED WHEN USING THE REMOTE, BUT THE CAR IS NOT LOCKING. THE CAR IS ALSO NOT LOCKING AFTER REACHING 18 MPH AS IT IS SUPPOSED TO. THE MAIN LOCK SWITCH IN THE CAR CONSOLE IS ALSO NOT LOCKING THE DOORS. ALL DOORS MUST BE OPENED BY HAND AFTER THE DRIVER DOOR IS OPENED WITH THE KEY. *KB

EXTERIOR LIGHTS FAIL TO TURN ON. THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE AND HAVE TAKEN IT IN BEFORE, BUT THEY SAID THAT THEY CAN'T FIX IT UNLESS IT IS HAPPENING WHEN I BRING IT IN. CONVENIENT THAT THEY ARE NOT OPEN AT NIGHT WHEN I TURN ON MY LIGHTS. *TR
THE POWER LOCKS STOPPED WORKING, I HAVE TO RESET A FUSE TO GET THE LOCKS TO WORK AGAIN, BUT THIS ISSUE WILL EVENTUALY COME BACK. *TR

THE CONTACT ALSO PREVIOUSLY DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY IN ORDER TO REMEDY THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONT STRUTS WERE ALSO REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 71,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
THE WHOE BRAKE COVER ON THE LEFT REAR FELL OF ON JULY 4TH 2009. I HAVE NOT HAD IT REPLACED YET AS I COULD NOT AFFORD IT, BUT HAVE BEEN USING RED TAPE. YESTERDAY, JULY10TH WHILE COMING OOF THE FREEWAY THE OTHER COVER FELL OFF. THIS TIME I SAW IT AND WENT BACK FOR IT. IT SEEMS THESE ARE ONLY GLUED ON. HAVE THERE BEEN OTHER COMPLAINTS OF THIS HAPPENING TO THESE VANS? IT IS SO EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE. *TT

SYSTEM WILL BEEP, DASH LIGHTS AND GAUGES WILL FLASH AND GO DEAD. DOOR LOOKS ALSO STOP WORKING. ONE INCIDENT OF BATTERY BEING DRAINED TO NOTHING, NO EMERGENCY STANDBY POWER FOR STARTING. MANY REPORTS OF THE BCM MODULE BEING THE CAUSE. CAN BE TEMPORARILY FIXED BY PULLING THE IOD FUSE TO RESET THE BCM. DODGE TSB 08-040-04 REPORTED TO OUTLINE THE PROBLEM. REPLACING THE BCM NOT ALWAYS REPORTED TO FIX. FLASHING THE BCM(UPDATING CODE) MORE COMMONLY REPORTED TO FIX, ALSO MENTION OF CORRODED CONTACTS BEING RELATED. REPAIR IS HARD TO DETERMINE AS ANY WORK DONE ON THE BCM WILL RESULT IN A RESET WHERE IT WILL TEMPORARILY START WORKING AGAIN. *KB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR UNDERBODY AIR CONDITIONING LINES WERE LEAKING AND WERE COMPROMISED AT THE SEAL PLATE JUNCTION, CAUSING FREON TO LEAK. THE FAILURE WAS PREVENTING THE VEHICLE FROM PRODUCING AIR CONDITIONING IN THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE CONTACTED BUT DID NOT ASSIST THE CONTACT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
THE AIR CONDITIONING FOR THE VEHICLE HAS NEEDED TO BE RECHARGED OR A/C HEATER TUBE FOR THE REAR UNIT HAS BEEN CHANGED OUT BECAUSE OF CORROSION. EVERY YEAR THE A/C HAS NEEDED TO BE RECHARGED BECAUSE THERE IS NO COOLANT IN THE A/C SYSTEM. THIS HAS OCCURRED EVERY YEAR FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS. THIS CAUSES AN EXPENSE OF $70 TO $150 EVERY YEAR. THE FRONT CORE HAS BEEN REPLACED TO THE SUM AMOUNT OF AROUND $750 LAST YEAR. *TR
AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKS HAVE FAILED, AND THE AUTOMATIC SLIDING DOORS HAVE FAILED. *TR
ELECTRIC DOOR LOCK DO NOT WORK, THEY WILL WORK MANUALLY, BUT NOT WITH REMOTE OR DOOR SWITCH. HAVE TO REMEMBER TO MANUALLY LOCK DOORS WHEN GOING THRU "BAD" SECTION OF CITY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THE SLIDE ELECTRIC DOOR DOES NOT OPEN ELECTRONICALLY OR MANUALLY. THE CONTACT HAS NOT TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT CHILDREN CAN NOT EXIT THE VEHICLE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE CHILDREN HAVE TO EXIT ON THE DRIVER SIDE WHICH EXITS INTO TO ONGOING TRAFFIC AND IT A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,970.
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. HEADLIGHTS WENT OFF AND COULD NOT GET THEM TO COME BACK ON BY TURNING ON THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH. HOW CAN I BE EXPECTED TO DRIVE IN THE DARK WITHOUT HEADLIGHTS?
WE LOCKED THE VEHICLE WITH THE REMOTE, SAW THE DOOR CLOSING, AND WHEN WE RETURNED, THE PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR WAS WIDE OPEN! SINCE THE ORIGINAL FAILURE DATE, THIS HAPPENS CONTINUOUSLY. THE DOOR CLOSES ALMOST ALL THE WAY, AND THEN REVERSES, AND OPENS UP. WE HAVE TO MANUALLY SHUT THE SLIDING DOOR (DIFFICULT) IN ORDER TO CLOSE AND LOCK IT. DID NOT NOTIFY MANUFACTURER OR DEALER. *TR
DASH LIGHT WILL FLICKER THEN GO OUT THEN COME BACK ON, SO WILL THE RADIO AT THE SAME TIME. ALSO ENGINE WILL CUT OUT BUT NOT ALWAYS AT THE SAME TIME. ALSO SENSOR LIGHT WILL COME ON. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HORN WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED BUT DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIR TO THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 120,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
HEADLIGHT SWITCH ON 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY AND 2005 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN MALFUNCTIONS WHILE DRIVING. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. *TR THE SWITCH ON SOME OF THESE VEHICLES SEEM TO BE INSTALLED INCORRECTLY. THERE ARE 4 SETTINGS ON THE SWITCH THAT WHEN CONNECTED WILL TURN ON THE LIGHTS APPROPRIATELY. IN SOME CASES THE SWITCH IS MISALIGNED AND THE CONTACT WILL EITHER NOT WORK AT ALL, OR, MAKE RANDOM DISCONNECTIONS. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT AS THIS IS A FAMILY VEHICLE, KNOWN TO HAVE MULTIPLE PASSENGERS. IF THE HEADLIGHT FAIL AT NIGHT, THIS COULD BE DEADLY. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS FORUMS, AND BLOGS DESCRIBING THESE ISSUES WITH TOWN AND COUNTRY, AND CARAVAN, AND GRAND CARAVAN OWNERS. THE FAILURE OCCURS RANDOMLY, AND THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS IS TO EITHER OPEN/REPAIR THE SWITCH, OR REPLACE THE SWITCH. CURRENTLY I AM HAVING TO FLIP THIS SWITCH OFF AND ON BACK AND FORTH UNTIL THE CONTACTS CONNECT. IF IT DOES NOT WORK, THEN I HAVE TO DRIVE WHILE I HOLD THE HI-BEAMS ON. THIS IS NOT SAFE FOR MYSELF NOR OTHER DRIVERS DRIVING TOWARD ME.
THE DOOR LOCKS HAVE FAILED REPEATEDLY, AND CANNOT BE OPERATED WITH EITHER THE REMOTE KEY OR WITH THE POWER SWITCHS INSIDE THE CAR. THE TEMPORARY FIX IS TO OPEN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT TO REMOVE AND REINSERT THE IOD FUSE. THE PERMANENT FIX IS TO PAY THE DEALER A LOT OF MONEY TO UPDATE THE BCM SOFTWARE FOR THE VEHICLE. THIS IS NOT JUST AN INCONVENIENCE, BUT ALSO A SAFETY ISSUE DUE TO THEFT VULNERABILITY AND PASSENGER PERSONAL SAFETY COMPROMISE. *TR
COOPER TIRES LIFELINE GLS 215/70R15. DESCRIPTION; CRACKING OF THE ENTIRE INSIDE BEAD ON ALL FOUR TIRES , REPLACE TIRES AT A PRORATE COST TO CONSUMER. *TR
2005 GRAND CARAVAN RACK & PINION LEAK FAILURE- IT BEGAN AS A SLIGHT GRUNT WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE SITTING STILL, LIKE IN A PACKING LOT, THEN I TOOK THE VAN IN FOR A VEHICLE SAFETY INSPECTION FOR PLATE RENEWAL WHEN I WAS INFORMED I HAD A BAD RIGHT STRUT AND A LEAK, THEY REPLACE THE STRUT AND RE-ALIGNED THE FRONT END BUT INFORMED ME I WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE RACK & PINION BOX TO FIX THE FLUID LEAK. I DID NOT BELIEVE THEM SO I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER SHOP FOR A SECOND OPINION, AND FOR SURE THAT'S WHAT IT IS AND THE EXPECTED REPAIR COST TO BE NEAR $1000.00 THE VAN ONLY HAS 80,100 GENTLE MILES ON IT, I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS FAILED ALREADY, I TREAT THIS VAN REALLY WELL. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE BATTERY TO THE KEYLESS ENTRY; HOWEVER, IT HAD NOT REMEDIED THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT DID NOT CALL THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING THE KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THE ELECTRIC DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM BECAME INOPERABLE WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO USE THE REMOTE CONTROL. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHO DISCONNECTED THE FUSE AND THEN RECONNECTED IT AGAIN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40,700. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000. IN SEARCHING THE INTERNET I FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON THIS VEHICLE. IN MY OPINION IT IS A SAFETY FEATURE WHEN YOU ARE TRANSPORTING CHILDREN, AND SHOULD BE A RECALL BY CHRYLSER. UPDATED 11/15/2011 *LN
THE POWER LOCKS STOPED WORKING. THEY WILL NOT LUCK/UNLUCK WITH THE INTERIOR DOOR SWITCH NOR WITH THE REMOTE ON THE KEY. THE TAIL GATE LOCK WILL LUCK/UNLOCK WITH THE KEY REMOTE ONLY. REMOVING THE IOD FUSE FOR A WHILE WILL CORRECT THE PORBLEM FOR A DAY OR TWO. *TR
THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR DOOR MALFUNCTIONS WHILE OPENING USING THE POWER OPEN OPTION. IT OPENS PART WAY AND THEN STOPS OR CLOSES AGAIN. THE DRIVER SIDE DOES NOT OPEN AT ALL USING THE POWER OPEN OPTION, ONLY BY OPENING MANUALLY. I AM CONCERNED FOR THE SAFETY OF REAR PASSENGERS ENTERING/EXITING THE VAN AND BEING STRUCK/TRAPPED BY THE DOOR WHEN IT CHANGES DIRECTIONS. IT IS CAUSED BY A SHORT IN THE WIRING HARNESS THAT POWERS THE DOORS WHICH COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE A FIRE.

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 103,000.
FRONT BRAKE FAILURE EXCESSIVE WEAR BRAKE PADS- ABOUT TWO WEEKS FROM ACCEPTABLE PADS TO NOTHING METAL ON METAL CAUSED BY HUB BEARING FAILURE - ALLOWS THE WHEEL TO MOVE HORIZONTALLY ON THE AXLE SHAFT. THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF BEARING FAILURE PRIOR TO BRAKE PAD WEAR FAILURE OF THE HUB BEARINGS COULD BE THE REASON FOR MANY OF THE BRAKE PAD WEAR PROBLEMS ON THESE VEHICLES HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR BEARING HUBS 6 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE IN 2005- REPLACED LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT BEARING HUB ASSEMBLIES, ROTORS, AND BRAKE PADS ALSO ABS FAILURE - SENSORS ARE CONTROLLED BY THE COMPUTER MODULE WHICH IS PRONE TO FAILURE - CONTROLS ALL THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS OF THE VEHICLE. SO REPLACING INDIVIDUAL WHEEL SENSORS DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM - ONLY REPLACING THE FAULTY COMPUTER CONTROL MODULE WILL ELIMINATE THE PROBLEM UNTIL IT FAILS AGAIN. *TR
