AT ABOUT 47,000 MILES, I BEGAN TO HEAR A GROWLING, GRINDING, SHAKING SOUND WHILE STOPPING ON HIGHWAY DURING HIGH SPEED. I BEGAN TO NOTICE IT AT REGULAR STOPPING SPEED. I THOUGHT IT WAS BRAKE PADS. HOWEVER, GOING TO THREE SHOPS. IT WAS DETERMINED BRAKES WERE NOT THE PROBLEM. I T WAS THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL BEARING. AT SUCH LOW MILEAGE AND REGULAR WEAR, I BELIEVE IT TO BE A MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT. PLEASE ADVISE.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
