WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE THE BOLTS ON THE REAR BACK WHEEL ON DRIVER'S SIDE BROKE. ALL FOUR LUGS: NUTS BROKE.OWNER WAS TRAVELING BTWEEN 20-25 MPH HOUR WHEN PROBLEM OCCURRED. *AK

POWER STEERING SENSOR FAILED CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STEER VERY HARD.
SPEED SENSITIVE POWER STEERING SYSTEM, WHILE TOWING AND ENCOUNTERING CROSSWINDS AND SPEEDING TRUCKS, CAUSES SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE IN VEHICLE DIRECTION WHICH CAN EASILY DESTABILIZE THE TRAILER BEING TOWED.
WINDSHIELD CHIPS AND CRACKS.
WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THE VEHICLE MAKES A NOISE AND TAKES LONGER TO STOP. DEALER HAS CHANGED THE BRAKES, AND SAME PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK

STEERING IS EXTREMELY SENSITIVE THAT SLIGHT MOVEMENT IN STEERING WHEEL COULD RESULT IN OVERSTEERING AND VEHICLE SWERVING /LOSS OF CONTROL. *AK
SEAT BELT DESIGN (ANGLE) DOES NOT ACCOMMODATE CHILD SAFETY SEATS.
BRAKES FAILED RESULTING IN THE PEDAL NOT GOING DOWN WHEN DEPRESSED.

VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC SEAT BELT LOCKING SYSTEM WHICH DID NOT RELEASE OR RETRACT, CAUSING CONSUMER TO CUT THE BELT OF THE CHILD WHO NEARLY STRANGLED. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT HAS COME ON TWICE BEFORE IT WAS REPAIRED. THE FIRST TIME AT 14,000MILES. THIS TIME IT IS CURRENTLY WITH DEALER AT 20,000. *AK
THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD FAR TOO MANY RECALLS.
DEALER CLAIMS TO HAVE NO INFORMATION ON RECALL. THE RECALL STATES THAT THE REAR AXLE BAR BRACKET CAN SEPARATE FROM THE FRAME DUE TO MISSING WELDS OR INADEQUATE WELD PENETRATION. (ID #97V171000)
STEERING IS VERY SENSITIVE, SLIGHTEST MOVEMENT CAUSES LOSS OF CONTROL.
VENTILATION SYSTEM DRAWS EXHAUST FUMES INTO PASSENGER COMPARTMENT.
ABS BRAKES; WHEN APPLYING BRAKES IN NORMAL CONDITIONS, BRAKES MAKE A GRINDING NOISE AND FAIL TO STOP THE VEHICLE, CAUSING AN EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS. *AK

VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN RECALL #98V095000 WHICH INVOLVED THE LUGS: NUTS. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO REFUSED TO TIGHTEN THE LUG NUTS WITHOUT CHARGE. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
CROSS BARS ON LUGGAGED RACK CAME LOOSE AND THE FRONT FASTENERS FELL OUT, CAUSING OBJECTS TO FALL ONTO ROADWAY.

WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE ENGINE SHUT DOWN . CAUSE OF PROBLEM DEFECTIVE CRANKSHAFT SEAL. ALSO TIE ROD END WAS NEVER CONNECTED TO VEHICLE AT THE FACTORY. *AK
THE WHEEL CAME OFF.
VEHICLE HAS HAD CONTINUED STABILITY PROBLEMS, BOLT FELL FROM FRONT END AND THE FRONT END FELL OUT OF THE TRUCK AFTER REPAIR DUE TO TIE-ROD ENDS PULLING APART RIPPING OUT OF LOCATION WHERE THEY WERE SCREWED.
RECALL # 98V095000 FORD/LUGS: NUTS. OWNER HAS BEEN WAITING FOR REPAIR OVER 5 MONTHS. DEALER NEVER HAS PARTS TO CORRECT RECALL, AND NOT ABLE TO TELL CONSUMER WHEN PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. *AK
CONSUMER HAS RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER IN JUNE OF 1998, FOR THE WHEEL LUGS: NUTS: BOLTS, MANUFACTURER RECALL #98S14 NHTSA RECALL #98V095000. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. THE DEALER SAYS THAT THEY HAVE NO PARTS. *AK
CONSUMER RECEIVED RECALL LETTER CONCERNING LUGS: NUTS, RECALL NUMBER 98V095000 IN JUNE 1998. CONSUMER SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED SECOND NOTIFCATION BEFORE TAKING THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER FOR COMPLETE REMEDY, WHICH HAS NOT ARRIVED. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
TIRE MOVING AROUND RIM/WHEEL. MANUFACTURE WANTS TO 'GLUE' TIRE TO THE RIM. I SUGGESTED POSSIBLE RIM OR TIRE DEFECT, NEEDS REPLACEMENT....NOT A "GLUE" BANDAID.( DOT NUMBER: )

NO SUMMARY
WE EXPERIENCED AN INVOLUNTARY ACCELERATION, AND FORD REPLACED THROTTLE COMPONENTS. WE WERE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED AND THE THROTTLE FLOORED ITSELF, AND I HAD TO PULL THE PEDAL BACK ON TWO SEPARATE OCCATIONS. AND THE PEDAL WAS NOT CAUGHT UNDER THE FLOOR MAT.
THE CABLE THAT SUPPORTS THE SPARE TIRE THAT IS POSITIONED UNDERNEATH VEHICLE BROKE WHEN CONSUMER DROVE OVER A DIP THAT WAS IN THE STREET, CAUSING THE TIRE TO DISMOUNT. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING PASSENGER'S SIDE TORSION BAR COLLASPED. THE DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
THE CABLE THAT HOLDS SPARE TIRE SNAPPED, CAUSING THE TIRE TO FALL, ALMOST RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT.*AK
TWO CRACKS IN CAST ALLOY WHEEL CAUSED THE TIRE TO LOSE AIR . *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED IT SUDDENLY BECAME HARD TO CONTROL VEHICLE. IT STARTED TO VEER ALL OVER THE ROAD AND JERKED FURTHER THAN THE TURN THAT WAS BEING MADE AT THE TIME. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
