THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

AS HE ATTEMPTED TO MANUALLY REMOVE THE WIPERS, THE GLASS FROM THE WINDSHIELD SHATTERED. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND A TECHNICIAN CONCLUDED THAT BECAUSE THERE WERE NO RECALLS AND THE WARRANTY EXPIRED, HE WAS INELIGIBLE FOR A FREE REMEDY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,000.

SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE FORD DEALER AND HER INSURANCE ADJUSTER STATED THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE INSURANCE BECAUSE IT WAS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT THAT OCCURS VERY OFTEN. SHE BELIEVES THAT THE ISSUE SHOULD BE RECALLED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT YET BEEN REPAIRED AND IS CURRENTLY PARKED AT HER HOME. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 140,000.
