VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION AT 40-45 MPH WITH A TREE, AND NEITHER AIR BAG DEPLOYED. *AK CONSUMER ADDS THAT THE AIRBAG SENSOR BRACKET WHICH IS 4 INCHES LONG FOLDED AROUND, THUS NOT DEPLOYING THE AIR BAGS, HAD THE SENSORS BEEN PLACED ON THE FRAME ON A SHORTER BRACKET THEY WOULD HAVE DEPLOYED, ONE PERSON WAS INJURED IN ACCIDENT. *TT
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A 5 MPH REAR END COLLISION, HITTING A TREE. DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS COLLAPSED BACKWARDS. *AKJG

DEALER HAD TO REPLACE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH FOR SECOND TIME BECAUSE OF SMOKE COMING FROM STEERING COLUMN. FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
TRANSMISSION SLIPS WHEN SHIFTING TO OVERDRIVE AT 50-55MPH. *AK
ENGINE IS MAKING A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE. DEALER HAS TRIED TWICE TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEM. DEALER WAS CONTACTED. *AL *YD
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 20 MPH, THE UPPER BOLT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE HIGH BACK SEAT (THAT ATTACHES THE SEAT RECLINER MECHANISM TO THE SEAT BACK FRAME) FRACTURED. THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND FOOT PEDALS. SHE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V281000 (SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:RECLINER) OR RECALL NUMBER PE03020AND. FORD STATED THAT THE RECALL REPAIRS WOULD NOT BE PERFORMED BECAUSE THE SEAT HAD ALREADY FAILED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO HAVE THE REPAIRS DONE DUE TO MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND, UPON RECOVERY, WAS INFORMED BY FORD THAT THE RECALL REPAIRS WOULD NOT BE PERFORMED BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT COMPLETED IN A TIMELY FASHION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
REPEATED FAILURE OF BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS, FRONT AND REAR, LEFT AND RIGHT, AFTER NORMAL REPLACEMENT OF ORIGINAL BRAKES AT 35K (FRONT) AND 43K (REAR) MILES. ROTORS ARE WARPING EVERY 3-8000K MILES, RESULTING IN EXTREME VIBRATION AND EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE DURING BRAKING. THIS WITH DISCS WEARING EXCESSIVELY, RESULTING IN BLACKENED RIMS AFTER LESS THAN 1000 MILES OF DRIVING. SINCE DECEMBER 2001 (20K MILES), BRAKES AND ROTORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED 5 TIMES. MY DRIVING HABITS HAVE NOT CHANGED DURING THIS PERIOD. PROBLEMS ONLY BEGAN AFTER REPLACMENT OF ORIGINAL BRAKES. DEALER IS NOW INSISTING I PAY FOR ALL REPAIRS. WHICH WOULD MEAN A COMPLETE BRAKE JOB EVERY 2 MONTHS OTHER COMPLAINTS OF THIS NATURE EXIST. (IE, ODI #'S 766490, 722010, 753303, 8012462, 764972)
AT SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY BUCKS FOR A FEW SECONDS, FEELS LIKE IT'S NOT SHIFTING RIGHT. ALSO DIFFICULT TO STEER AT THAT TIME.*AK
WHILE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 40 TO 50 MPH A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HIM CAME TO AN ABRUPT STOP. AS A RESULT, CONSUMER'S VEHICLE REAR ENDED THE STOPPED VEHICLE AND BOTH FRONTAL AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. DRIVER RECEIVED HEAD, NECK, AND BACK INJURIES. VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN EXAMINED BY DEALERSHIP OR INSURANCE COMPANY TO DETERMINE REASON FOR THE AIR BAG FAILURE. *AK ANOTHER AUTO SPECIALIST EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AND DETERMINED THAT THE FAILURE OF THE AIR BAGS TO DEPLOY WAS DUE TO THE COMPUTER FAILURE. *YH

VEHICLE WAS MAKING A SQUEALING NOISE. WHEN TURNING VEHICLE NOISE WOULD GET LOUDER. CONTACTED DEALER,AND DEALER STATED IT WAS UPPER CONTROL ARM. CONTACTED FORD, AND FORD DECIDED TO LEAVE IT AS AN OPEN CASE.*AK THE BALL JOINT AND UPPER CONTROL ARM ON THE DRIVER SIDE IS WHAT FAILED. *JB
ON 12/4/01 TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH WHEN I HAD TO SUDDENLY BRAKE FOR A SUDDENLY STOPPED CAR IN FRONT OF ME. I PRESSED THE BRAKE AND NO ABS DEPLOYED THUS CAUSING ME TO HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME AT NEAR FULL SPEED. UPON IMPACT OF MY FRONT END WITH REAREND OF OTHER CAR, MY TRUCK SUSTAINED MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE ENTIRE FRONT END, INCLUDING FENDER, PUNCTURED RADIATOR, COMPRESSED BOTH SIDE PANELS, FOLDED HOOD. IT WAS NOT DRIVEABLE AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT AND HAD TO BE TOWED. THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES DID NOT WORK AND NO AIR BAG WAS DEPLOYED. I HAVE SUSTAINED PHYSICAL INJURIES RELATED TO FAILURE OF THESE TWO SAFETY DEVICES. THE MECHANIC STATES THE AIRBAG SENSOR WAS SMASHED IN ACCIDENT. THE DEALER STATES MY BRAKES WERE FULLY FUNCTIONING. AFTER I RECEIVED MY REPAIRED TRUCK, THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES DID NOT WORK. I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE DEALER THEY SAID THEY DID WORK, I MUST BE MISTAKEN. I PICKED THE TRUCK UP AND I SUDDENLY HAD ANTI-LOCK BRAKES.*AK
MY EXPLORER CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE PARKED IN MY PARKING LOT. I HADN'T DRIVEN IT FOR OVER TEN HOURS. THE FIRE INSPECTOR SAYS THE FIRE STARTED IN ENGINE SOMEWHERE. *AK
WHILE TRAVELING RPMS WENT WAY UP TO NUMBER SIX. APPLIED BRAKES AND VEHICLE WAS STILL GOING. SHE COULD STOP ITBY TURNING VEHICLE OFF. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IS CAUSING INTERMITTENT OPERATION OF INTERIOR LIGHTS/ INSTRUMENT PANEL FUNCTIONS, AND WINDSHIELD WIPERS. DEALERSHIP EXAMINED VEHICLE, BUT COULD NOT DETERMINE CAUSE OF PROBLEM. WHILE DRVING AT 10 MPH, CONSUMER ACCIDENTLY ACTIVATED THE RESUME CRUISE CONTROL WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY ON, AND VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED, HITTING A CONCRETE WALL. MINOR INJURIES SUSTAINED. *TT
THE FORD EXPLORER WAS PARKED IN OUR DRIVEWAY AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. THE REAR WINDOW WAS OPEN AND WE WERE STANDING BEHIND THE VEHICLE WHEN WITHOUT WARNING THE WINDOW EXPLODED THROWING GLASS FRAGMENTS OVER 10 FEET IN ALL DIRECTIONS. THE ENTIRE BACK WINDOW BROKE INTO PIECES NO LARGER THAN 1/4 INCH IN SIZE. THERE WERE NO PREVIOUS MARS OR CRACKS IN THE BACK WINDOW AND NOTHING HIT THE WINDOW BEFORE IT BROKE. MY BIGGEST CONCERN IS THAT IF THE WINDOW HAD BROKEN WHILE WE WERE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, OUR ANIMALS THAT ARE CONTAINED IN THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE COULD HAVE BEEN HURT BY FLYING GLASS NOT TO MENTION POSSIBLY JUMPING OUT OF THE VEHICLE. *AK
VEHICLE WILL STALL WHILE DRIVING AND WHEN STARTING, VEHICLE BACK UP AND WILL STALL AGAIN. CONTACTED DEALER, AND DEALER STATED NOTHING WAS WRONG. PLEASE ADD VIN. *AK
THE VEHICLE WOULD CRANK AND THEN IMMEDIATELY DIE. IN ORDER TO KEEP IT RUNNING YOU WOULD HAVE TO INCREASE THE RPMS TO ABOVE 1500. YOU WOULD HAVE TO HOLD DOWN THE BRAKE AND ACCELERATE AT THE SAME TIME TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE. THIS HAPPENED TWICE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL SHOP SINCE FORD CLAIMED THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE. AFTER EXPLAINING THE SITUATION THE MECHANIC INFORMED ME THAT HE WAS 99% SURE IT WAS THE ELECTRONIC IDLE CONTROLLER BECAUSE HE HAD REPLACED SEVERAL OF THEM ON EXPLORERS WHICH CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A POTENTIAL DANGEROUS SITUATION IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF HOW TO OVER COME THE SITUATION IN A TIME OF CRISIS. I BELIEVE THAT FORD HAS A MAJOR PROBLEM HERE THAT NEEDS TO BE INVESTGATED BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY INJUED OR POSSIBLE KILLED. THE COST TO REPAIR WAS APPROXIMATELY $175.00, HOWEVER I SPENT ANOTHER $100.00 CHANGING FILTERS AND CLEANING INJECTORS THINKING IT WAS A FUEL PROBLEM.*AK
THE CONSUMER HEARD A NOISE COMING FROM TRANSFER CASE WHILE TRAVELING AT LOW SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED BUT THE DEALER COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK *PH *NLM

1ST TRANSMISSION WAS FOUND TO HAVE BEEN SENT FROM FACTORY WITH NO 2ND GEAR, WHICH RESULTED IN 3RD GEAR BEING DESTROYED, THIS WAS AFTER 2 VISITS WITH COULD NOT VERIFY COMMENTS. SO AT 3807 MILES TRANSMISSION 2 WAS PUT IN, I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS WAS A REFURBISHED TRANSMISSION. OCT 30,2000 BACK IN FOR A CHIRPING SOUND WHILE IDLING.JAN 19,2001 BACK IN FOR OIL IN AIR FILTER, AND TRANSMISSION STICKING AT 20 MPH.SEATBELTS ALSO ON RECALL LIST.JAN 23,2001 BACK IN, STILL STICKING AT 20MPH. CAR FOUND TO BE STAYING IN 3RD GEAR, REPAIRS MADE WITH GASKET-TRANS V, MERCON R V AUT,GASKET ASY - TRA, PROCESSOR ASY, AND PATS KEY ALL BEING REPLACED. MAR 9,2001 2ND KEY SET WILL NOT START CAR, CAR REPROGRAMMED.7/19/01 CAR BACK IN SHOP, WHINES WHEN TURNING,SLOWING DOWN,ACCELERATING, COULD NOT VERIFY. HESITATE, THEN SURGES AT 50MPH,COULD NOT VERIFY, PASSENGER WINDOW WILL NOT ROLL DOWN, REPLACE SWITCH.RADIO LIGHTS SUDDENLY GO OFF, RADIO STAYS ON, REPLACE RADIO. 6/05/2003 CAR SEEMS TO LOSE POWER, STILL RUNNING BUT WONT DRIVE, 60MPH ON A FREEWAY!! CAR RETURNS TO NORMAL FOR A FEW MINS. THEN O/D TURNS OFF, AND LIGHT STARTS FLASHING ABOUT O/D TURNED OFF. GET TO DEALER- 4TH GEAR WRONG RATIO, NEEDS OVERHAUL OF TRANSMISSION,O/D BAND & CLUTCHES ARE DAMAGED. CRACKED UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD, MANIFOLD & IAC VALVE NEED TO BE REPLACED.CAR IS NOW AT 59,700 MILES,WARRANTY EXPIRED, AND FORD AND DEALERSHIP SAY I HAVE TO PAY TO FIX TRANSMISSION WITH DOCUMENTED PROBLEMS, AND I FIND OUT IT WAS REFURBISED AT THAT! DEALER AND FORD WILL NOT STAND BEHIND VEHICLE BECAUSE IT HAS WORKED FOR 48,000 MILES, CALLS IN TO FORD REGIONAL MANAGER, AND COMPLAINTS BEING FILED ANY WHERE I CAN.

THIS COMPONENT CONTROLS THE OPERATION OF THE TWO FRONT AIRBAGS. THIS WIRE HARNESS JUST STOPPED WORKING. *AK
TRAVELING HOME ON THE SHIP CHANNEL BRIDGE FROM FRIENDS PLACE WHEN I HEARD A BANG LIKE SOMETHING HAD KICKED UP, AFTER WHICH THE VEHICLE STARTED TO MOVE FROM SIDE TO SIDE I PROCEEDED TO SLOW DOWN AT WHICH TIME THE TIRE BEGAN TO SHRED. WHEN I WAS ABLE TO PULL THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER OF THE FREEWAY THE ONLY THING LEFT WAS THE CENTER PART OF THE TIRE NOT A PIECE OF THE WALLS WERE ON THE TIRE.*AK (DOT NUMBER: 8XHL1PY529 TIRESIZE: P235/75R15)
LEFT SIDE BRAKE CALIPER FELL OFF, CAUSING WHEELS TO LOCK UP. THIS WAS A WEEK AFTER THE PASSENGER SIDE WAS TIGHTENED BY DEALER DUE TO NOISE IN FRONT END. HAVE ALL PAPERWORK AND ALSO DIGITAL PICTURES. IF THE CALIPER WOULD HAVE DROPPED OFF ON THE FREEWAY, IT COULD HAVE BEEN A DISASTER....THANKS. *AK
FRONT END SHAKES AND THE VEHICLE FLOATS. VEHICLE WANDERS IN BETWEEN LANES. DEALER REPLACED FRONT SHOCKS, BUT THE LOOSE FEELING IS STILL THERE.*AK THE VEHICLE WAS VIBRATING DUE TO BENT RIM. THE BRAKE FAILED AT 6000 MILES. THERE WAS ENGINE NOISE AND THE CAUSE WAS NOT KNOWN. THE TIRES WERE ON RECALL AND WERE REPLACED BY FIRESTONE. THE SHCOCK ABSORBERS ALSO FAILED. *YH
THIS EXLORER/EDDIE BAUER WAS LEASED BRAND NEW. I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS BEGINNING WITH THE FIRST WEEK OF HAVING IT (IE. STALLING, SHUTTING OFF, ENGINE FAILURE, EXCESSIVE WIND NOISE, WINDOW/RADIO REPLACEMENT, INACCURATE FUEL READINGS ETC..). I HAVE BEEN BOUNCED BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE SERVICE AND SALES DEPT. OF THE DEALSHIP. THEIR FAVORITE ANSWER TO A PROBLEM IS, "WE ARE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE CONSUMER CONCERN." HELLO!!!!, THIS IS WHY YOU GET PAID THE BIG BUCKS! I AM NOT AN ENGINEER OR SAVY WITH VEHICLE TERMINOLOGY. HOWEVER, I THINK I'M SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM HERE. I AM A SINGLE PARENT WHO IS CONCERNED FOR MYSELF AND CHILD'S SAFETY. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE FOR ME AND I AM REACHING OUT TO WHOMEVER WILL LISTEN TO MY CONCERNS. *AK

WHEN GETTING INSIDE AND TRYING TO TURN ON ENGINE IT WILL NOT TURN ON. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND THEY COULD NOT FIND OUT WHAT WAS CAUSING THE PROBLEM . ALSO, COULD NOT BE REPAIRED.*AK
MY RADIO LOST ALL THE LIGHTS TO IT..THE DISPLAY LIGHTS FOR THE RADIO NO LONGER WORKS. APPARENTLY FORD KNEW OF THIS DEFECT AS HUNDREDS OF OWNERS COMPLAINED AS EARLY AS 2001 (ONE YEAR AFTER THE CAR WAS SOLD). I COMPLAINED AND THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A NEW RADIO. SEEMS THEY SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THE RADIO BACK WHEN THEY SAW THE PROBLEM IN 2001 WHILE STILL UNDER WARRANTY.
I HAVE A 2000 EXPLORER WITH THE SOHV V6. ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO WHILE ON VACATION WE HAD A PROBLEMS STARTING THE TRUCK. I FOUND THAT IF I FULLY DEPRESSED THE ACCELERATOR THE TRUCK WOULD START BUT WOULD STALL RIGHT AFTER. IF I HELD THE GAS DOWN A LITTLE AFTER STARTING, THE TRUCK WOULD RUN BUT STALL IF I LET OFF THE GAS PEDAL FULLY. THIS PROBLEM HAS PLAGUED US FOR 2 YEARS AND THE DEALER HAS LOOKED AT IT SEVERAL TIMES BUT FOUND NOTHING. I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM MYSELF AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH ON A FORD TRUCK OWNER WEB SITE. THE PROBLEM WAS A FAULTY IAC VALVE. I KNOW THIS FOR SURE BECAUSE THE TRUCK REPEATED THE PROBLEM AND WOULDN'T IDLE UNTIL I REPLACED THIS VALVE. AFTER THAT THE TRUCK STARTED RIGHT UP. I WENT BACK TO THE DEALER AND REPORTED THE RESULTS. THEY CLAIMED THEY CAN'T REIMBURSE ME FOR THAT PART COST (~ $80) BECAUSE THEY NEVER COULD GET AN ERROR CODE FROM THE DIAGNOSTICS THEY RAN. IF THEY REFUNDED MY COST, FORD WOULD CHARGE THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE PART (FORD'S POLICY ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP). MY ISSUE IS WHEN I BOUGHT THE PART, THE PERSON BEHIND THE COUNTER SAID THEY STOCK AT LEAST 6 OF THESE DEVICES BECAUSE THEY GO THROUGH THEM LIKE WATER. IF THAT'S THE CASE, MY DEALERSHIP SHOULD HAVE REPLACED OURS TO START WITH AND MY REPAIR WOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY AND WE WOULD HAVE HAD TWO YEARS OF WORRY-FREE OWNERSHIP. FORD SHOULD STEP UP AND ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR A PROBLEMATIC PART. *JB
WHILE TRAVELING AND PULLING A 21' TRAILER AT 55 MPH AND PASSING ANOTHER VEHICLE, BACK OF TRAILER FISHTAILED AND CAUSED VEHICLE TO ROLL OVER AND CRASH WITH DRIVER AND FOUR PASSENGERS IN VEHICLE. DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER WERE INJURED. *AK CONSUMER STATED PRIOR TO TOWING WITH THE EXPLORER, THEY TOWED WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT NEVER GAVE ANY PROBLEMS, THE DAY OF THE ACCIDENT THE TRAILER WAS PACKED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS, THE TRAILER BEGAN TO SWAY SUDDENLY AND VIOLENTLY, THE SWAYING OF THE TRAILER CAUSED THE EXPLORER TO START ROCKING OUT OF CONTROL BACK AND FORTH, CONSUMER STATES HE ACTIVATED THE MANUAL OVER RIDE BRAKE CONTROL ON THE ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL BOX, AND THEN TRIED TO PULL TO THE SHOULDER, THIS IS WHEN CONSUMER LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE AND IT JACK KNIFED TO THE LEFT AND OVERTURNED, POLICE REPORT STATES THAT CONSUMER RAN OFF ROADWAY, LOST CONTROL AND VEHICLE OVERTURNED, THE REPORT ALSO STATES THAT THE CAUSE WAS CARELESS DRIVING, THE CONSUMER STATES THIS IS UNTRUE AND THAT THE CAUSE IS THE STRUCTURAL AND DESIGN FLAWS OF THE EXPLORER, TWO PEOPLE WERE INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT. *SLC
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE BUSY HIGHWAY @ 55 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION WENT INTO NEUTRAL AND IT STOPPED MOVING. THE CAR BEHIND ME JUST NARROWLY MISSED REAR ENDING ME. THERE WAS TRAFFIC IN FRONT OF ME, IN BACK OF ME AS WELL AS ALONG SIDE OF ME. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION. CALLED NELSON FORD AND THEY ATTEMPTED TO FIX IT, BUT COULD NOT FIND OUT THE PROBLEM. IT HAPPENED AGAIN ON AUG. 6, 2001 AND THEY WOULDN'T EVEN LOOK AT IT AGAIN. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPAIRED JAN. 6, 01, BECAUSE IT DIDN'T SHIFT PROPERLY INTO 2ND GEAR, JUNE 8TH, IT WAS BROUGHT BACK IN, BECAUSE THE OVERLIGHT FLASHED ON AND OFF. ON JULY19TH I BROUGHT IT IN , CAUSE IT NOW SHIFTS IN AND OUT OF OVERDRIVE, ERRATIC SHIFTING AND SURGE. TODAY 8/9/01 IT DOESN'T SHIFT INTO OVERDRIVE CORRECTLY, THERE IS SEVERAL SECONDS DELAY BEFORE IT SHIFTS. THE FORD COMPANY WAS CONTACTED ABOUT THE SECOND STAHL ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE OVERDRIVE NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY. THEY WILL NOT TAKE IT APART AGAIN. AND THEY CAN NOT VERIFY THAT THE CAR STALLED FOR ME SO THEY WILL NOT ACKNOWLEGE THE PROBLEM. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE IF I AM IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. FORD STATED THAT THEY WILL SELL ME ANOTHER FORD AT COST, THEY WILL TAKE MY EXPLORER AS A TRADE IN AND FORD WILL KICK IN SOME MONEY. "YOU,MAY BE HAPPPY AND THEN MAYBE NOT ." THE MAN I AM TO DEAL WITH IS ON VACATION, SO I AGREED TO WAIT TO TALK TO THEM ON MONDAY. I AM NOT SAFE IN THIS CAR. I MAILED A CERTIFIED LETTER TO FORD TELLING THEM THAT I WANT IT CONSIDERED A LEMON. THEY STAT THAT IT DOES NOT MEET THE LEMON STANDARDS, IT WAS ONLY REPAIRED 3 TIMES. THERE IS NOT A FORD PRODUCT THAT I WANT TO BUY AT THIS TIME. I JUST WANT OUT OF THIS DANGEROUS VEHICLE. PLEASE HELP ME WITH OPTIONS. I DO NOT WANT THE SAME SITUATION AS IN CALIFORNIA. THE FIRESTONE TIRES WERE REPLACED WITH GOODYEAR TIRES DUE TO HUMMING NOISES AND RECALL#00T005000. THE ENGINE MADE NOISE, VIBRATED, OVERHEATED AND WOULD NOT RESPOND UPON ACCELERATION. THE VEHICLES FAULTY SHOCKS CAUSED NOISE WHEN DRIVING OVER BUMPS IN THE ROAD, VIBRATION AND NOISE IN THE FRONT END. THE ABS WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW WAS OFF TRACK, WOULD NOT GO UP ALL THE WAY AND WENT UP UNEVENLY. THE STARTER BECAME STUCK MADE SCRAPING SOUNDS.
