CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END CRASH AT 10 MPH. UPON IMPACT, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED BY CONSUMER. *AK
WHILE PLACING THE CHILD INSIDE THE CAR SEAT THE BOTTOM OF SEAT SHEARED OFF. CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO CATCH THE BOTTOM BEFORE HITTING THE FLOOR. THIS PUT THE CHILD IN DANGER. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE TIRE TREAD SEPARATED. THIS CAUSED A ROLL OVER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION. *JB
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE MAKES A CLANKING NOISE. THE VEHICLE TAKES UP TO 2-5 SECONDS UPON CHANGING GEARS TO REVERSE. GOING UP HILL IT WILL DOWN SHIFT VERY HARD AS IF THE FLOOR BOARD IS BEING KNOCKED OUT. THE DIFFERENTIAL, AND REAR END WERE REPLACED. *AK
AIR BAG LIGHT WARING LIGHT CAME ON, INDICATING THAT THE AIR BAGS ARE NO LONGER WORKING. INITIALLY THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT WOULD COME ON PERIODICALLY AND THEN GO OFF FOR WEEKS AT A TIME. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS KNOWN PROBLEM THE DEALER STATED THE ONLY WAY FORD WILL INSTALL THE WIRING KIT 3L2Z-14B455-AB, THAT FIXES THE PROBLEM, IS IF THE VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 50000 MILES ON IT. I HAD TO PAY THEM TO INSTALL THE FIX KIT, BECAUSE THEY STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS WOULD NOT WORK WITHOUT DOING SO.
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD ON COLLISION WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH.UPON IMPACT, BOTH FRONTAL AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THREE PERSONS WERE INJURED, AND ONE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE LOCAL HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE. A PRIVATE VEHICLE TRANSPORTED THE OTHER TWO. DEALER WAS NOTIFIED. *AK *TC
THIS IS FOR A 2000 FORD EXPLORER SPORT. WHEN I TURN THE LEFT SIGNAL ON, EVERY FEW DAYS, THE SIGNAL LIGHT WILL STICK AND SMOKE WILL COME OUT OF THE STEERING COLUMN NEAR THE HAZARD SWITCH. FORD REFUSES TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A FAULT IN THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH WHICH WAS RECALLED ON SEVERAL EXPLORERES (JUST NOT SPECIFICALLY MINE).*AK
WHEN USING TURN SIGNAL SMOKE COMES FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. *AK
I HAVE A FORD 2000 EXPLORER XLT. THE REAR WIPER WORKS WHEN IT WANTS TO USUALLY WHEN I DON'T NEED IT AND I AM ON THE SECOND MOTOR FOR IT. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON FOR THREE OR FOUR DAYS THEN GOES OUT FOR ONE OR TWO THEN BACK ON. I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH IN FORD. AT TIMES IT WILL SHUT OFF WHEN I AM DRIVING AND IT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP, BUT WON'T IDLE FOR ABOUT 2 DAYS AFTER THAT. I'VE HAD IT WITH FORD NO WONDER THEIR HAVING PROBLEMS SELLING THEIR AUTO'S. I AM ABOUT TO TRADE THE VEHICLE AND IT SURE WON'T BE FOR ANOTHER FORD. *JB
THE TURNING LEFT SMOKE WAS COMING THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS. CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AND DROVE IT HOME. THE CAUSE HAD NOT BEEN DETERMINED. CONSUMER WILL CONTACT THE DEALER IN THE NEAR FUTURE. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED WINDSHIELD WIPERS ENGAGED LNTERMITTENTLY. THE CAUSE HAS YET TO BE DETERMINED. *AK
WHILE TEST DRIVING THE VEHICLE CONSUMER SAW A BLINKING OVER DRIVE LIGHT ON DASH BOARD. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER DEALER, WHO FOUND THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK
IN EARLY 2002 I NOTICED THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS FEELING SOFT AND PRACTICALLY WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR WITH NORMAL BRAKING AND THE PEDAL MADE A HISSING/VACUUM NOISE AT TIMES. FOR HARD BRAKING IT FELT LIKE THE SUV WOULDN'T STOP. I TOOK THE CAR FOR SERVICE ON 6/8/02 AT A FORD DEALERSHIP WHICH BLED THE BRAKE SYSTEM. THIS DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. TOOK THE SUV BACK ON 11/9/02 AND WAS TOLD IT WAS A VACUUM LEAK FROM THE POWER BOOSTER AND THE MASTER CYLINDER WAS REPLACED. PEDAL AND BRAKING WAS NORMAL AFTER THIS UNTIL RECENTLY, THE BRAKE PEDAL IS FAILING AGAIN AS BEFORE. I HAVE NOT YET TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER. *LA
WHILE DRIVING THE CONSUMER SWERVED ONTO THE SHOULDER AND HIT A GUARDRAIL WHILE ATTEMPTING TO AVOID HITTING A VEHICLE WHICH HAD PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF HER. THE DRIVER'S SEAT COLLAPSED DURING THE COLLISION WHICH RESULTED IN LOSS OF CONTROL. AS A RESULT THE VEHICLE FLIPPED OVER THREE TIMES. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO HER NECK, HEAD AND HIP. THE VEHICLE RECLINER BOLT WAS RECALL AND REPLACED PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT (RECALL # 03S04). *AK *NM
CONSUMER NOTICED REAR DOORS WILL NOT OPEN FROM THE INSIDE, EVEN IF THE CHILD PROOF LOCKS ARE OFF. CONSUMER WILL CONTACT MANUFACTURER. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, A LOUD BANGING NOISE WAS HEARD FROM REAR. THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND PULL OVER. THE WINCH CABLE WIRE SHEARED OFF AND CAUSED THE SPARE TIRE TO FALL OFF AND BOUNCED UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE MECHANIC INFORMED THE DRIVER THAT THIS VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. PLEASE FILL IN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *LA
WHEN STARTING VEHICLE AFTER FUELING IT BEGAN TO HESITATE/STALL. *AK
CAR WOULD NOT START WITHOUT PRESSING GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR. ONCE STARTED HAD TO KEEP MY FOOT ON THE GAS TO PREVENT IT FROM STALLING. *LA
THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT FAILED TO STAY IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION. SEVEN MONTHS EARLIER, DEALERSHIP PERFORMED HIGH BACK SEAT RECALL 03V281000 REPAIRS. DEALERSHIP INSPECTED THE SEAT, AND INDICATED THAT THIS FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE RECALL BOLT THAT WAS REPLACED. IT MAY BE THE RACKET ASSEMBLY OR ONE OF THE SEAT FRAMES. *AK
ON THE EVENING OF JUNE 7, 2004, AS I WAS DRIVING ON 85S, MY CAR BEGAN SHAKING VIOLENTLY. AS I WAS TRYING TO GET OUT OF THE WAY OF THE TRAFFIC, THERE WAS A HUGE BOOM FROM MY VEHICLE AND THE CAR STOPPED. INITIALLY, ALL OF THE SERVICE PEOPLE AROUND THOUGHT THAT IT WAS MY TRANSMISSION THAT FELL OUT. I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO MY MECHANIC WHO LATER CONFIRMED THAT IT WAS MY TRANSFER CASE THAT HAD FALLEN FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO PRIOR WARNINGS (NO SERVICE LIGHTS APPEARED IN THE VEHICLE) OF THIS HAPPENING OTHER THAN A SLIGHT SHAKING IN THE CAR A DAY OR TWO BEFORE. MY MECHANIC IS IN THE PROCESS OF CREATING AN ESTIMATE FOR THIS WORK.*AK
VARIOUS PROBLEMS WITH 2000 FORD EXPLORER. *MR THE CONSUMER EXPERIENCED PROBLEM WITH THE WIPER MOTOR AND THE POWER WINDOW/DOOR ASSEMBLY WHICH SQUEALED AND RATTLED. *SC
MY 2 YEAR OLD SON WAS STANDING ON THE SEAT AND WAS ABLE TO PULL THE VEHICLE OUT OF PARK AND INTO DRIVE. THE CAR WAS NOT RUNNING, THE KEY WAS NOT ON. THE VEHICLE ROLLED DOWN A HILL AND UPON STRIKING ANOTHER VEHICLE, MY SON FELL OUT. THERE IS SIGNIFICANT BODY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE, ONLY MINOR INJURIES TO MY SON. I WAS STANDING NEXT TO THE OPEN PASSENGER DOOR WHEN IT HAPPENED. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THIS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE VEHICLE TO BE TAKEN FROM PARK TO DRIVE WITHOUT THE BRAKE ON (THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPED WITH THIS SAFETY DEVICE). NO REPAIRS HAVE YET BEEN DONE. *AK
CONSUMER LOST POWER TO WINDSHIELD WIPERS, WINDOWS, AND INTERIOR LIGHTING. *LA THE CONSUMER INDICATED THAT EVERY TWO WEEKS THE VEHICLE LOSES POWER TO THE WIPERS, POWER WINDOWS AND INTERIOR LIGHTING. WHILE DRIVING DURING A THUNDERSTORM, THE VEHICLES WIPERS DID NOT FUNCTION WHICH ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. . THE CONSUMER SEARCHED THE NHTSA WEBSITE AND FOUND A RECALL (00V072000) CONCERNING AN IDENTICAL ISSUE WITH A MODULE (GEM) WHICH CONTROLS THE WIPERS, WINDOWS, ETC. THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL DUE TO VIN. *NM
THE VEHICLES ELECTRICAL SYSTEM HAS FAILED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH WAS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. *NM THE HARNESS WIRES ALL SHORTED AND THE CONSUMER NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE DASH. THE POWER WINDOWS FAILED. THE SPEEDOMETER AND GAUGES FAILED. THE AIR CONDITIONER FAILED. THE RADIO BLINKERS AND LIGHTS FAILED. A BURNING SMELL CAME FROM THE DASH FREQUENTLY. THE CONSUMER REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT. *NM
BOTH FRONT ROTORS HAD SEVERE RUST/CORROSION ON THE INNER SURFACE. VEHICLE HAS 56,000 MILES ON IT AND WAS DUE FOR THE FIRST PAD REPLACEMENT. ROTORS REQUIRED REPLACEMENT DUE TO THE DEPTH OF RUST DAMAGE. RUST WAS NOT VISIBLE ON THE OUTSIDE SURFACE. I WAS NOT AWARE OF THE SITUATION OR THE CHANGE IN BRAKING DISTANCES UNTIL THE NEW ROTORS WERE INSTALLED. THE NEW BRAKING CONDITIONS IS NOTICABLY IMPROVED. I HAVE POSSESSION OF BOTH ROTORS AND PADS THAT WERE REPLACED. REPAIR WAS PERFORMED AT A LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN CONTINUALLY DRIVEN AND THE RUST/CORROSION IS NOT TYPICAL BUILDUP FROM A LACK OF OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE.*AK
IN MARCH OF 2004, I TOOK MY 2000 FORD EXPLORER XLT FOR GENERAL SERVICE, THE MECHANIC FOUND THAT THE FRONT PINION SEAL, AND TORQUE CONVERTER SEALS LEAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS. THANK THE LORD THAT I TOOK OUT AND EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE VEHICLE WHEN I PURCHASED IT SEPT, 2002. THE REPAIRS WHERE COMPLETED, I ALSO TOOK IT BACK TO MY MECHANIC TO CHECK AND MAKE SURE THE WORK WAS DONE. ON 10/26/04 I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK IN AGAIN FOR WORK TO BE DONE AND THE MECHANIC AGAIN FOUND THE FRONT PINION TO BE LEAKING, ALSO FOUND THAT THE UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS WERE NEEDED AND THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS CHATTERING. JUST SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION: THE VEHICLE WAS ORIGINALLY OWNED BY MY SISTER, WHEN I PURCHASED THE VECHICLE, SHE WAS TURNING IN HER 2 YEAR LEASE. WHEN I TOOK THE VEHICLE OVER IT ONLY HAD 11,681 MILES ON IT. THE FIRST REPAIRS WERE AT 37126 MILES, SECOND TIME MILES WERE 45721 MILES. I ALSO HAVE SEVERAL AREA'S ON THE VEHICLE THAT HAVE RUST. I CAN REMEBER A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN THE 3 MAJOR CAR COMPANIES TALKED ABOUT RUST NOT GOING TO BE A PROBLEM. ONE OF THE PLACES WITH RUST IS ON THE RADIATOR SUPPORT. I JUST WONDER HOW FORD OR ANY OF OUR OTHER US CAR COMPANIES CAN EXPECT US TO KEEP BUYING INFERIOR PRODUCTS AND PAY ALOT MORE MONEY. *JB
WHILE DRIVING AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND STAYED ON FOR THE REMINDER OF THE TIME THAT VEHICLE WAS RUNNING. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. *AK
ON THE 27TH OF MARCH IN 2004, MY 2000 FORD EXPLORER TRANSMISSION WENT OUT IN CHICAGO. THE VEHICLE MALFUNCTIONED WHILE STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT. THE CAR THEN WOULD NOT MOVE. THE VEHICLE DOES HAVE 59,000 MILES ON IT. WHEN I MOVED THE VEHICLE BACK TO MY HOMETOWN VIA MY OWN HAULING CAPABILITES, THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED SINCE THE TIME OF PURCHASE, REFUSED TO HELP ME WITH ANY REPAIRS EVEN THOUGH IT HAD BEEN IN THEIR SHOP ONLY FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT. WHEN I ASKED THEM WHAT THEY SUGGESTED, THEY INFORMED ME THAT I NEEDED TO CONTACT FORD MYSELF AND START TALKING WITH THEM. AFTER TALKING WITH FORD SEVERAL TIMES I REALIZED TAHT I WAS NO WHERE. THEY REFUSED TO HELP AND DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO MAKE ME SATISFIED. I HAVE RECEIVED NO ASSISTANCE WHATSO EVER FROM THEM. IA M PERSOANLLY AWARE THAT OTHER CAR COMPANIES TAKE CARE OF SITUATIONS LIKE THIS FOR THEIR CONSUMERS. I HOPE THAT BY SUBMITTING THIS, FORD WILL BE REQUIRED TO RECALL A PRODUCT THAT THEY KNOW TO BE DEFECTIVE. *LA
MY SON WAS DRIVING OUR 2000 FORD EXPLORER AND ACCIDENTALLY STRUCK A TELEPHONE POLE NEAR THE CENTER OF THE FRONT BUMPER. NEITHER THE DRIVER SIDE NOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED ON IMPACT.*AK
CONSUMER STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING SMOKE CAME FROM THE STEERING WHEEL. BUT THERE WAS NO FIRE. SHE STATES THAT SOME TIMES YOU CAN SMELL IT BURNING, BUT NEVER SEE FIRE. ALSO, CONSUMER COMPLAINED THAT VEHICLE STALLED WHEN SHE STEPPED ON THE ACCELERATOR. VEHICLE HESITATED BEFORE MOVING, THEN WHEN IT MOVED, ONE COULD SMELL GAS. CONSUMER DID NOT TAKE VEHICLE TO REPAIR SHOP FOR CHECKING ON THESE PROBLEMS BECAUSE SHE WAS THE SECOND OWNER . *AK
THE RIGHT FRONT BRAKE DISC CORRODED AND CRACKED CAUSING MY FRONT BRAKES TO LOCK UP. I HAD TO REPLACE BOTH FRONT BRAKE DICS ROTORS AND BRAKE PADS AND OVERHAUL THE RIGHT FRONT BRAKE CALIPER.*AK
DOOR LOCKS FAILED. CONSUMER WAS CONCERNED THAT IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY OCCUPANTS WILL BE TRAPPED. *AK

WHEN DRIVING AT AN UNDETERMINED SPEED AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD. CONSUMER HAD INFORMED THE DEALER ABOUT THIS ISSUE. HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK
CONSUMER'S 2000 FORD EXPLORER CAUGHT FIRE. CONSUMER STATED HE WOULD LIKE REIMBURSEMENT FOR PERSONAL ITEMS WHICH WERE IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE FIRE. *KB PRIOR TO THE FIRE, THE ENGINE WOULD NOT START. THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE REGARDING A POTENTIAL FIRE CONCERNING THE SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH. THE TRANSMISSION HAD BEEN REPLACED A MONTH EARLIER. *JB
I HAVE A 2000 EXPLORER 4WD AND LOWER BALL JOINT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE IS SQUEELING REALY BAD. I WAS TOLD TO REPLACE FOR $400.00. THIS IS JUST ANOTHER PROBLEM I'VE HAD WITH THIS SUV. THE TRANSMISSION HAD A BAD VALVE BODY GASKET ANOTHER $300.00. IT'S ONLY GOT 39000 MILES. WHAT ELSE CAN GO WRONG...SORRY THAT'S A BAD QUESTION. NEEDLESS TO SAY I'LL BE SELLING THIS ONE SOON.*AK
COOLANT LEAKED INTO THE OIL. *PH THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD THE INTAKE MANIFOLD FAILED WHICH CAUSED THE COOLANT TO LEAK. THE ENTIRE ENGINE HAD TO BE REPLACED. *JB
WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED WITHOUT WARNING, AND VEHICLE ACCELERATED TO A HIGH RATE. CONSUMER SHIFTED TO NEUTRAL TO DECELERATE THE VEHICLE. *AK
THE CONSUMER STATED THAT WHEN HE GOT INTO VEHICLE AND TURNED WINDSHIELD WIPERS ON, THEY DID NOT WORK AND MANAGED TO GET THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER. THE DEALER DETERMINED THAT THE GENERIC ELECTRONIC MODULE (GEM) MALFUNCTIONED. THIS CAUSED WINDSHIELD WIPERS/ REAR DEFROSTER/REAR LIGHTING/4-WHEEL DRIVE/ INTERIOR LIGHTING, AND POWER WINDOWS TO MALFUNCTION. RECALL 00V072000 WAS ISSUED; HOWEVER, THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK *SC
2000 FORD EXPLORER. AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON, EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN TO THE FORD DEALER 4 TIMES IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. THE LIGHT FLASHES 3 TIMES AND THEN 7 TIMES AND THEN STAYS ON.
WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE DEFLATED. THE CONSUMER INSPECTED THE TIRE AND FOUND NO PUNCTURES. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *NM
THE FRONT WHEEL BEARING HAS CORRODED. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *JB *MR
WHENEVER VEHICLE WAS AT A STOP LIGHT OR SIGN IT IDLED AND STALLED. AFTER STALLING VEHICLE COULD BE RESTARTED IMMEDIATELY. ALSO, FUEL PUMP WAS NOT PUMPING FUEL PROPERLY, AND WAS REPLACED BY THE DEALER. *AK
MY BRAKES FAILED AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED. I WAS DRIVING MY INFANT TO DAY CARE AT ABOUT 45 MILES AN HOUR. A CAR IN FRONT OF ME MADE A STOP SO I HIT MY BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN AND NOTHING HAPPENED. THE EXPLORER WOULD NOT SLOW DOWN. NO ABS LIGHT, ,NO LOSS OF PEDAL,NO VIBRATION,NOTHING. I PUMPED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND STILL NOTHING. I HAD TO GO INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND MAKE A VERY SHARP TURN ONTO A SIDE RD TO AVOID HITTING THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. BECAUSE OF THIS I ALMOST HIT AN ON COMING CAR. AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE BRAKE SEEMED FINE AGAIN. I HAVE HEARD OF PEOPLE HAVING THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND TO MY KNOWLEDGE, NO CAUSE HAS YET BEEN FOUND. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS. *CB
WHEN ENGAGING THE 4 - WHEEL DRIVE LOW THE VEHICLE LOCKED UP WITHOUT WARNING. AS A RESULT, THE STEERING BECOMES INOPERATIVE. THE CAUSE HAS YET TO BE DETERMINED. *LA
MY 2000 FORD EXPLORER RADIO LCD NO LONGER WORK THE RADIO WORKS FINE I JUST CAN NOT TELL WHAT TIME OR WHAT STATION ID NUMBERS ARE. *JB

THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING WHEN SHE HEARD A LOUD NOISE WHILE TURNING INTO HER DRIVEWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS SMOKING AND CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRE WAS PUT OUT WITH A GARDEN HOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE WHEEL BEARINGS WERE FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE. ON THE NEXT INCIDENT, THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE MECHANIC TO HAVE THE FRONT END ALIGNED, WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED THE BALL JOINT FELL OFF INTO THE MECHANIC'S HAND JULY 8, 2004. *LA ALL OF THE PROBLEMS HAD BEEN ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. THERE WERE ALSO PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE. *SC *JB
