TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL FAILED TO ENGAGE AND SUNK INTO THE FLOORBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER HOWEVER, THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE TECHNICIAN THEN RECOMMENDED HAVING THE BRAKE LINES BLED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 57,500.
I HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH MY 2006 EXPLORER. IT LUNGES, JOLTS, DOESN'T ENGAGE AND SOMETIMES THE TRANSMISSION SLAMS INTO GEAR SO HAD THAT IT FEELS LIKE I JUST GOT REAR ENDED WITH A BIG BANG! FORD DOES NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY THAT THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM WITH THE 06' EXPLORER DESPITE HUNDREDS UPON HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING IT AS A SAFETY ISSUE. IT IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE! I WAS ALMOST HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHEN I TRIED TO CROSS AN INTERSECTION AN THE TRANSMISSION WOULDN'T ENGAGE. AT VARIOUS TIMES MY VEHICLE WOULDN'T ENGAGE WHEN I WAS STOPPED AT AN INTERSECTION OR WHEN IT DID ENGAGE IT WOULD JERK. ANOTHER TIME I SLOWED AT A YIELD AND WHEN I PRESSED THE GAS THE VEHICLE WOULDN'T MOVE BUT WHEN I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE GAS IT ACCELERATED VERY QUICKLY WITH JERKING MOTION. *TR
MY 2006 FORD EXPLORER IS LEAKING TRANSMISSION OIL. THIS LEAK IS COMING FROM THE LEFT QUICK CONNECT FITTING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE TRANS COOLER LINE. I WAS TOLD BY THE FORD COMPANY THAT THERE IS NO QUICK FIX TO THIS PROBLEM, THEY WILL HAVE TO "REPLACE THE RADIATOR" FOR A COST OF APPROX.....$950.00. THE RADIATOR COST $500 LABOR $450. THE QUICK CONNECT FITTING THAT'S CAUSING THE PROBLEM IS $10.00. HELP, HELP, HELP. *TR
TRANSMISSION DISENGAGED AT RED LIGHT. IT STARTED GOING BACKWARDS INSTEAD OF FORWARD. HAD TO PUT INTO PARK AND THEN BACK INTO DRIVE TO GET IT TO DRIVE. STILL GOING ON. NOW WHEN ACTUALLY ON THE ROAD IT IS GETTING OUT OF GEAR WHEN VEHICLE IS AT DRIVING SPEED. ENGINE REVS UP TO 5000RPMS, THEN DOWN TO 1000RPM. VEHICLE LUNGING. WILL GET HURT I'M SURE. *TR
TRANSMISSION WAS SHUTTERING IN REVERSE AS WELL AS 2 AND 3 GEARS. FOR HAVING THIS TROUBLE AT 70000 SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTABLE AND HAVING A TRANSMISSION GO OUT CAN BE DANGEROUS. IN DOING RESEARCH ONLINE TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT IS QUITE COMMON ON MY TYPE OF EXPLORER. I SUGGEST THAT FORD NEEDS TO HAVE A MANDATORY RECALL ON THESE VEHICLES. *TR
TRANSMISSION JERKS PRETTY BADLY AT LOW SPEEDS. COULD DEFINITELY BE A SAFETY PROBLEM. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM THAT FORD WON'T RECALL. *TR
WITH ONLY 86,000 MILES OUR FORD EXPLORERS TRANSMISSION HAS FAILED ONCE AGAIN. WHEN WE HAD 23,000 MILES ON OUR VEHICLE WE NOTICED THE TRANSMISSION WAS SHIFTING RATHER HARD AND TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG. AT 58,000 MILES THE TRANSMISSION ENGAGEMENT WAS SO ROUGH THAT WE HAD TO GET IT REPAIRED. SINCE THE WARRANTY IS ONLY UP TO 36,000 WE DECIDED OUR BEST BET IS TO NOT TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. WE HAD THE VALVE BODY REPAIRED AND IT RAN FINE UP UNTIL NOW. 86,000 MILES AND THIS VEHICLE IS ONCE AGAIN AT A REPAIR SHOP HAVING THE TRANSMISSION FULLY REBUILT. IN THE TIME I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE I HAVE PAID OVER $7,000 TO KEEP IT RUNNING WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE, TIRES, RADIATOR REPAIR, BRAKES AND NOW THE THIRD TRANSMISSION. *TR
I'VE HAD MULTIPLE PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR. FIRST THE CAR SHIFTS HARD APPROX BETWEEN 10 MPH AND 20 MPH, THE CAR LUNGES, STALLS, THEN SHIFTS HARD INTO GEAR. WHEN IT FIRST HAPPENED, I TOOK THE CAR TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC AND THEY DID A COMPLETE TRANSMISSION FLUSH... THE CAR RAN SMOOTH FOR ABOUT 10 DAYS, THEN IT STARTED LEAKING TRANSMISSION FLUID WHICH RESULTED IN MY RADIATOR BEING RUINED. REPLACED THE RADIATOR AND A PLUG IN THE TRANSMISSION. ($1,800) THE CAR THEN RAN FINE UP THIS PAST SUNDAY. THE CAR AS ME AND MY WIFE WERE DRIVING HOME FROM A 400 MILE TRIP WITH THE AC RUNNING, THE WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR STARTED LUNGING AND SHIFTING HARD AGAIN. I EXITED OFF THE HIGHWAY AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON... THE CAR STARTED SHIFTING HARD BETWEEN 2ND AND 3RD GEAR AND MAKING A LOUD CLUNK NOISE. TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC AND HE DID ANOTHER TRANSMISSION FLUSH ON MONDAY JUNE 16, 2014... TWO DAYS LATER AND THE CAR STILL LUNGES, STALLS, AND SHIFTS HARD. I CALLED FORD AND THEY SAID BECAUSE THE CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY, THERE'S NOTHING THEY COULD DO. I EVEN ASKED THEM BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE 2006 TRANSMISSION, THEY STILL COULDN'T HELP ME. THE SECOND PROBLEM IS THE CAR EVEN THOUGH IN PARK, IT TENDS TO ROLL DOWN THE DRIVEWAY INTO THE STREET IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT/ EARLY MORNING... THIS HAPPENED A COUPLE OF TIMES... TOLD FORD ABOUT THE PROBLEM, AND BECAUSE THE CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY THERE'S NOTHING THEY COULD DO... THE LAST PROBLEM IS EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE THE CAR DOESN'T SHIFT INTO REVERSE... TOLD FORD ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND ONCE AGAIN, BECAUSE THE CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY THERE'S NOTHING THEY COULD DO... *TR
SAME AS A BUNCH OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT TRANSMISSION LUNGES HARD JOLT WHEN SHIFTING, WRENCH LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF REGARDING THE 2006 FORD EXPLORER, NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME THAT I NEED TO GET A NEW TRANSMISSION THAT WILL BE $3500.00 APROX. I HAVE DONE SOME RESEARCH AND THERE ARE A LOT OF COMPLAINS ON THIS ISSUE.PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!
UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE IT SUDDENLY EXCELERATES. I NOW KEEP MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE AT ALL TIMES IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING IGNITION. IT HAS HAS HAPPENED FOUR OR FIVE TIMES IN THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS. I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE SINCE 2007 WHEN I PURCHASED IT FROM OCALA LINCOLN MERCURY AS A FORD CERTIFIED VEHICLE. IT HAD APPROXIMATELY 14,000. TODAY IT HAS ONLY 54,230 MOSTLY HIGHWAY. THAT IS LESS THAN 7000 MILES PER YEAR. ITR HAS REGULAR SERVICES AT MY LOCAL FOR DEALER. ALL OF MY REPAIR RECORDS ARE OBTAINABLE THROUGH THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY.
EVERY TIME TAKING OFF FROM A STOP. VEHICLE WOULD GO 3 MPH FOR 15 SECONDS, WOULD THEN JOLT AND LUNG FORWARD FAST. THIS HAPPENED ALL THE WAY TO WORK FOR 27 MILES. WHEN I CONTACTED FORD REGARDING THIS ISSUE, THEY SAID THEY HAD NO PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. THE VEHICLE ALMOST HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME SEVERAL TIMES. LATER THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT GO INTO REVERSE. I WAS STRANDED IN THE PARKING LOT UNTIL THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME HAD MOVED. *TR THE DEALER OVERHAULED THE TRANSMISSION AND REPLACED THE SERVOS IN THE VALVE.
BRAKES SHUTTERED AND MAKE AWFUL RACKET WHEN TRYING TO STOP. ABS AND ESC LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK IT TO FORD HOUSE AND WAS TOLD A REAR "EXCITER RING" HAD BROKEN AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED AT $380. *TR
I RECENTLY PAID OFF MY TRUCK AFTER YEARS ONLY TO HAVE THE CAR JERK OR LUNGES WHEN I DRIVE ABOVE 60 MPH I HAVE TO PULL OVER AND RESTART CAR IN ORDER FOR IT TO REENGAGE INTO GEAR. IT ALSO LUNGES BACKWARD WHEN PUTTING INTO REVERSE AS WELL AS WHEN I GO AROUND A CURVE OR DOWN A HILL OVER 40 MPH IT LUNGES AS WELL. I AM SINGLE MOTHER WHO HAS ONLY THIS CAR AS TRANSPORTATION TO TAKE MY 6 YEAR OLD SON TO SCHOOL AND DRIVE ME TO WORK AND I AM SCARED TO DO SO BECAUSE OF THE LUNGING. I HAVE ALSO PAID 3000 TO AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS TO HAVE A REBUILD TRANSMISSION PUT INTO THE TRUCK AND THE ISSUE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED HAVE TAKEN IT BACK INTO THE TRANSMISSION SHOP 3 TIMES IN THE LAST MONTH AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT CORRECTED THE ISSUE....THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE THAT FORD NEEDS TO RESOLVE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY HURT OR INJURED. *TR
IN THE PAST MONTH THE VEHICLE WAS TAKING MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO START UP. ONCE I WOULD GET IT STARTED AND DROVE IT DOWN THE ROAD AT A STOP LIGHT IT WOULD BE JOLTY, VIBRATING FEELING AND THEN TURN OFF. ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE DOWN THE ROAD IT ACTUALLY SHUT OFF ON ME. I TOOK IT TO FORD WHO CHARGED ME $100 TO DO A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM AND SUGGESTED THAT I TAKE IT TO TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST. I TOOK IT TO AAMCO THEY FOUND THAT THERE WAS A FAULTY SCREW THAT CAME APART AND WAS SHREDDED INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION. $4K LATER THE VEHICLE IS FIXED AND WORKING PROPERLY. *TR
WAS DRIVING THE TRUCK AND WAS COMING TO A STOP, THE VEHICLE JUMPED FORWARD AS IF SOMEONE HIT ME FROM BEHIND. IT WAS RATHER AGGRESSIVE AND I ALMOST REAR ENDED A CAR IN FRONT OF ME AT THE LIGHT. LUCKILY THERE WAS NOT A CROSS WALK WHERE A PEDESTRIAN COULD'VE BEEN HIT. THIS HAPPENS ON A REGULAR BASIS AND IN MY OPINION NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP, OR FORD WILL BE DEALING WITH A RATHER LARGE LAW SUIT IN THEIR FUTURE. IT IS CLEAR THIS IS OCCURRING WITH MANY OTHERS AND ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. *TR
JUST LIKE MANY OTHERS WHO HAVE REPORTED THE SAME ISSUE WITH THEIR 2006 FORD EXPLORER, WHEN BACKING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY, I PUT THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE. THERE WAS A JERK AS THE TRANSMISSION SEEMED TO FINALLY ENGAGE. I THOUGHT THE TRANS BROKE AT THE TIME? THIS HAS HAPPENED MORE THEN ONCE. I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE AS OTHERS WITH THE DELAYED SHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR. MY EXPLORER HAS JUST 88K MILES ON IT. *TR
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR IN TOWN TRAFFIC, BEGAN TO NOTICE A STUTTERING OR SHUDDERING IN THE ENGINE EVERY TIME I GOT TO AROUND 40-45MPH. ONCE ACCELERATED THROUGH THAT IT WOULD GO AWAY. THIS BECAME NOTICEABLE ABOUT 6 WEEKS AGO, AND I WATCHED TO SEE IF IT WENT AWAY OR GOT WORSE. AFTER ABOUT THREE WEEKS IT ALSO STARTED TO SHUDDER AROUND 30 MPH, ESPECIALLY WHEN GOING UPHILL. IT ALSO BEGAN TO JERK SUBSTANTIALLY WHEN I STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT, ALMOST LIKE I HAD BEEN REAR ENDED. I TOOK IT IN TO MY REGULAR MECHANIC AND WE ASSUMED MAYBE WE HAD ENGINE MISFIRE AND A FOULED SPARK PLUG, AS IT HAD DONE SOME SHUDDERING PREVIOUSLY LAST FALL. WE HAD REPLACED ALL THE PLUGS AND COILS AT THAT TIME(74000K) AND THE PROBLEM WENT AWAY UNTIL AUGUST. THERE WERE NEVER ANY ENGINE LIGHTS OR ERROR CODES. THE MECHANIC TOOK ONE TEST DRIVE AND SAID NO WAY, TAKE IT TO A TRANSMISSION PLACE. TOOK IT WHERE IT HAS BEEN THE PAST TWO WEEKS. I WAS QUOTED 2400-2800.00 TO REBUILD, STATED THAT THE TORQUE CONVERTER HAD INTERNAL PRESSURE ISSUES AND WOULD HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY TORN DOWN TO SEE WHAT IT NEEDED. CALLED FOUR DAYS LATER TO UP THE ESTIMATE, STATING THIS PARTICULAR MODEL HAD A MERCEDES TRANSMISSION SO NOW WE AT A MINIMUM OF 4000.00. WE HAD AN OLD FORD EXPLORER, 1998 V8 AWD THAT HAD OVER 165000K ON IT THAT NEVER HAD TRANNY ISSUES. I AM SHOCKED AND DISAPPOINTED THAT A 2006 WITH LESS THAN 85K THAT HAD NEVER PULLED OR HAULED ANYTHING OTHER THAN PEOPLE WOULD HAVE THE TRANSMISSION GO OUT, JUST OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY. AND WHEN IT WAS TAKEN IN INITIALLY THE PROBLEM WAS 'SPARK PLUGS', WHICH WERE ALSO AN ISSUE BECAUSE THEY WERE SO RUSTED IN THAT THEY REQUIRED A SPECIAL TOOL TO EXTRACT AND STILL CRACKED ONE. FORD HAS A SERIOUS QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM. *JS
WHEN ATTEMPTING TO ADD GASOLINE TO THE TANK, GAS SHOOTS OUT OF THE TANK AT THE NOZZLE AREA AS IF THE TANK IS FULL. GAS MUST BE ADDED AT AN EXTREMELY SLOW RATE IN ORDER TO FILL THE TANK. EVEN WHEN ADDING GAS TO THE TANK AT THE EXTREMELY SLOW RATE THE PUMP WILL CONTINUE TO KICK OFF EVERY FEW SECONDS. *TR

AT LOW SPEED, THE VEHICLE SLAMS INTO 2ND GEAR. IT IS QUITE DISTURBING, ESPECIALLY IN THE CITY WHERE THERE ARE STOP SIGNS AND TRAFFIC SIGNALS FROM BLOCK TO BLOCK. IT FEELS LIKE THE VEHICLE IS BEING CRASHED INTO FROM BEHIND - CONSTANTLY. THE WORST PART IS, AFTER READING LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE VOICING THE EXACT SAME COMPLAINT, THERE IS NO CLEAR CAUSE OR RESOLUTION. THE VEHICLE SHIFTS FINE, FOR INSTANCE, WHEN GETTING ONTO AN EXPRESSWAY FROM A COMPLETE STOP -- THROTTLING STRAIGHT THROUGH FROM 1ST TO O/D, THERE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE A PROBLEM. IT IS ONLY AN ISSUE WHEN THROTTLING SHORT DISTANCES NEEDING ONLY 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD GEAR. ALSO, THOUGH SLIGHTLY LESS FREQUENT IN MY CASE, GETTING INTO REVERSE CAN BE JUST AS UNSETTLING. I WOULD SAY, 1 OUT OF 15 TIMES, THE VEHICLE SLAMS INTO REVERSE MOMENTS AFTER PLACING THE SHIFTER INTO THE REVERSE POSITION. NOW, I WILL FINISH BY ADDING THAT THIS IS MY SECOND EXPLORER. MY FIRST WAS A 2003. AT AROUND 100,000MI., IT TOO HAD THE SAME EXACT ISSUES. I THOUGHT THE PROBLEM WAS 'UNIQUE' TO THAT PARTICULAR VEHICLE. WHEN IT STARTED HAPPENING TO MY NEWER MODEL, I BEGAN TO RESEARCH. I AM 34YRS OLD AND I HAVE OWNED FIVE FORD VEHICLES IN MY LIFETIME. I AM CONFIDENT IN SAYING FORD MOTOR CO. WILL LOSE A LOYAL CUSTOMER PERMANENTLY IF THEY DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE AND ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM. SHAMEFUL. CARELESS. POINT BEING, IN ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS ON THIS EXACT ISSUE, THE TRANSMISSION 'WORKS' BUT IT DOES NOT WORK CORRECTLY! *TR
THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN JERKING WHEN I AM GOING SLOW TO THE POINT AS IF SOMEONE HIT ME IN THE REAR END OF THE VEHICLE. IT IS A VERY STRONG JERKING SENSATION ENOUGH TO FRIGHTEN ANY REASONABLE INDIVIDUAL. IT ALSO HAS BEEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE WHEN MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND NOT IN CRUISE CONTROL WHILE GOING WELL BELOW THE MINIMUM SPEED NECESSARY TO USE THE CRUISE CONTROL. THE AUTO ACCELERATION WAS WHILE AT 10 MILES PER HOUR OR LESS AND MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE. THIS HAS BECOME MORE AND MORE FREQUENT AND I AM WORRIED IT COULD BE THE COMPUTER, THE TRANSMISSION, THE ENGINE, OR A CONTROL SYSTEM NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS WITH PASSENGERS IN THE VEHICLE. MY PARENTS WERE FRIGHTENED WHEN IT HAPPENED. I AM WORRIED THE THING MAY ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN AND HURT ANOTHER VEHICLE(S) OR ITS PASSENGERS. THERE HASN'T BE A FIRE OR CRASH YET BUT IT IS MY FEAR THAT WILL HAPPEN UNLESS THIS SAFETY ISSUE IS MEANINGFULLY ADDRESSED. I ALREADY HAD CERTIFIED AUTO REPAIR OF ROCKVILLE MD LOOK AT THE VEHICLE AND THEY TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG FOLLOWING A COMPUTER DIAGNOSTIC. THE JERKING AND AUTO ACCELERATION ARE BECOMING MORE AND MORE FREQUENT AND I AM REPORTING THIS BECAUSE I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF MY VEHICLE AND OTHERS ON THE ROAD. ALSO, THERE ARE HEAVY VIRBATIONS OCCURING DURING THE IDLING PROCESS AND I AM NOT A MECHANIC BUT THIS MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE SAFETY CONCERNS ON THE VEHICLE. *TR
SHARP BANG IN THE REAR FOLLOWED A FEW MINUTES LATER BY ANOTHER SHARP BANG. THOUGHT POSSIBLE CONTACT BETWEEN FRAME AN EXHAUST SYSTEM. CONTINUED DRIVING. AFTER ANOTHER 4-5 MILES NOTED FEELING IN CAR OF SLIGHT TRAMPING ON DECELERATION. CONTINUED TRAMPING ON DECELERATION AND INCREASED MORE NOTICEABLE IN RIGHT TURNS, BECAME LOUDER VIBRATION THROUGH BODY DETERMINED PROBLEM IN LEFT REAR. STOPPED CAR EXAMINED LEFT REAR WHEEL. TWO WHEEL BOLTS BROKEN, REMAINING THREE WHEEL NUTS LOOSE WITHIN A FEW TURNS OF COMING OFF. HAD DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 13 MILES SINCE INITIAL BANG AT SPEEDS OF 30-40 MPH. FEEL VERY FORTUNATE THAT WHEEL HAD NOT COME OFF AND I WAS NOT ON A FREEWAY. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 83,000.

WE REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND BRAND NEW O-RINGS AND ADDED SILICONE SEALANT AROUND THE AFFECTED AREAS. WE ARE STILL SEEING THE LEAKING. I HAVE SEEN THIS COMPLAINT NUMEROUS TIMES AND IT IS TIME THAT FORD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PLASTIC PARTS THAT ARE CONNECTED TO THE ENGINE. FORD MUST USE METAL PARTS TO REPLACE THESE FOR ME BECAUSE PLASTIC WARPS IN THE HEAT OF FLORIDA. THE AFFECTED PARTS ARE THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND IT'S CONNECTION TO THE ENGINE. THESE ARE VERY COSTLY FIXES FOR A CAR THAT IS ONLY A COUPLE OF YEARS OLD. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY ARE NOT HELPFUL OR SYMPATHETIC AT ALL AND CLAIM THAT THEY ARE NOT AWARE OF ANY TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. MEANWHILE, WHEN YOU SEARCH THE WEB IT IS AN ISSUE ACROSS THE BOARD. I FEEL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND SO ARE THEIR CARS. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND A FORD TO ANYONE, NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY.
