EXHAUST CLAMP THAT HOLDS EXHAUST DAMPER OR COUNTER WEIGHT FELL OFF ( BECAUSE OF RUSTED EXHAUST CLAMP ) WHILE DRIVING AT 50 MILES PER HOUR. ITS QUITE HEAVY AND WAS BOUNCING ON ROAD BEHIND ME ALMOST HITTING MOTORCYCLE FOLLOWING ME. I FOUND MY EXHAUST DAMPER ON SIDE OF ROAD, IF NEEDED FOR INVESTIGATION. *TR
MY SON WAS DRIVING OUR 2002 FORD F-150 THE FIRST TIME THE SEATBELT DISENGAGED. IT HAPPENS OFTEN. I CALLED THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME THERE IS NO RECALL ON THIS SEATBELT. I HAVE LET THIS GO LONG ENOUGH. I AM CALLING FORD TO SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO ABOUT THIS POTENTIALLY DEADLY PROBLEM. I JUST HOPE THIS HELPS OTHERS THAT HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEIR F150 AS WELL. THERE IS NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SEATBELTS COMING UN- BUCKLED ON THERE OWN, WHAT HAS TO HAPPEN TO GET THIS PROBLEM FIXED? *TR
WHILE DRIVING THE TRUCK ONE OF THE SPARK PLUGS BLEW OUT OF THE ALUMINUM HEAD ON TOP OF THE MOTOR. THIS VEHICLE MALFUNCTION DESTROYED A COIL PACK, SPARK PLUG AND WIRING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT WAS TRAVELING 45 MPH WHEN A POPPING NOISE EMITTED FROM UNDER THE HOOD AND THE VEHICLE DECELERATED ABNORMALLY. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AFTER THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A PRIVATE MECHANIC CONFIRMED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE COIL FOR A SPARK PLUG BECAME DETACHED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 98,791.
I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE WHEN I HEARD AN EXPLOSION-TYPE SOUND, SIMILAR TO THAT OF A GUNSHOT. THE SOUND STARTLED ME AND CAUSED ME TO VEER OFF THE ROAD CRASHING INTO A BUSH ON SOMEONE'S FRONT LAWN. I RE-STARTED THE VEHICLE AND HEARD A VERY LOUD AND RAPID "POPPING" SOUND FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD, WHICH BECAME WORSE AS I ACCELERATED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO SHAKING VIOLENTLY AS I ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE HOME, WHICH WAS ONLY 1 MILE AWAY FROM WHERE THE INCIDENT OCCURRED. WHEN I ARRIVED HOME I INSPECTED THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THAT THE 2ND SPARK PLUG IN ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE ENGINE (#6 CYLINDER) WAS BLOWN COMPLETELY OUT OF THE ENGINE HEAD. I CONTACTED MY LOCAL FORD DEALER THE NEXT MORNING AND WAS TOLD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. SHORTLY AFTER ARRIVING, I WAS INFORMED THAT "BLOWN SPARK PLUGS" ARE A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH THE FORD TRITON 4.6 AND 5.4 LITRE ENGINES. I WAS ADVISED THAT THE SPARK PLUG HOLE WOULD HAVE TO BE RE-TAPPED AND A HELI-COIL KIT INSTALLED. THIS WORK WAS PERFORMED ON 06/08/2012 WITH A TOTAL COST TO ME OF $449.81, NOT INCLUDING THE COST OF THE TOW. I WAS ADVISED BY THE DEALER'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT FORD HAD ISSUED THE FIRST OF SEVERAL TSB'S (TECHNICAL SAFETY BULLETINS) TO ALL OF IT'S SERVICE DEPARTMENTS ACROSS THE US IN MARCH OF 2006 INFORMING THEIR TECHNICIANS OF THE DEFECT IN THE ENGINE'S ALUMINUM HEAD AND THE INCREASING FREQUENCY OF THIS "BLOWN SPARK PLUG" ISSUE. INCLUDED IN THIS TSB WERE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REPAIR BY USING A HELI-COIL, WHICH IS NOT A FORD PART, NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY AND NOT GUARANTEED TO STAY IN PLACE. A RECALL NEEDS TO BE ISSUED. A SPARK PLUG WORKED LOOSE FROM THE HEAD AND BLEW OUT CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE HEAD AND THE IGNITION COIL. ALL 8 PLUGS HAD TO BE REPLACED, TWO DAMAGED SPARK PLUG HOLES REPAIRED AND TWO IGNITION COILS REPLACED. *TR
DRIVING ON HIGHWAY 30 MPH AND #3 SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT . *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN A RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAY OVERNIGHT WHEN A FIRE ERUPTED FROM UNDER THE HOOD OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE. THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CONTACTED WHO AND ARRIVED ON THE SCENE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONCLUDED THAT THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE. A POLICE AND FIRE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 195,000.

THIS PART SUPPORTS THE RADIATOR, A/C AND PROVIDES AN ATTACHMENT FOR THE FRONT FENDERS. THIS VEHICLE'S RADIATOR CORE SUPPORT IS RUSTED COMPLETELY THROUGH IN SPOTS AND LARGE FLAKES OF RUST FALL OFF WHEN IT IS DISTURBED. STARTED TO HEAR EXHAUST NOISE FROM ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON MY 2002 FORD F150 XLT TRITON V8 4.6L WITH ONLY 95412 MILES FOUND THAT BOLTS THAT HOLD THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD WERE BROKE AND OTHERS NEAR BREAKING AT CYLINDER HEAD THERE IS A DANGER OF FIRE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUE TO HOT EXHAUST GASES AND SAFETY ISSUE REPAIR EXPENSIVE HAVING TO REMOVE BOLT STUDS FROM ENGINE HEAD WITHOUT DOING DAMAGE TO ENGINE HEAD THAT ARE SO RUSTED IN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER RECEIVING A RECALL REPAIR UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V385000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:MOUNTING) HIS GAS TANK IS LEAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO TOOK PICTURES TO BE SENT TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE DEALER CALLED THE CONTACT AND INFORMED HIM THE REPAIRS WOULD NOT BE DONE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 107,000.
TRUCK STARTED MAKING NOISE EVERY TIME THERE WAS A BUMP. HANDLING FELT LOOSE. DISCOVERED THAT THE RADIATOR CORE SUPPORT HAD RUSTED COMPLETELY AWAY ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE MECHANIC REFERRED TO THE CONDITION AS "ROT". THIS SUPPORTS THE RADIATOR, A/C AND PROVIDES AN ATTACHMENT FOR THE FRONT FENDERS. I BOUGHT 4 VEHICLES THE SAME YEAR. CHECKED THE OTHER 3 AND THEY HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. I WILL BE FILING REPORTS ON THEM TOO. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING BOX FAILED. THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD SPIN WITHOUT RESISTANCE AND WOULD NOT CATCH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE WHO ADVISED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS AND OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 214,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHT AND DIRECTIONAL SIGNALS FAILED. THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT RECALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER NOR WAS IT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 35 MPH WHEN THE FUEL TANK DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE DEALER CONFIRMED THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 202,000. UPDATED 05/02/12*BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE GAS TANK DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE STRAPS SECURING THE TANK TO THE BODY BROKE DUE TO RUST. WHEN THE GAS TANK DETACHED, IT FELL ON TOP OF THE VEHICLE'S SKID PLATE WHICH SAVED IT FROM HITTING THE GROUND. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE THEY REPLACED THE STRAPS. HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT REMOVE AND INSPECT THE TANK. THEY REMOVED THE SKID PLATE WHILE HOLDING THE TANK IN PLACE AND THEN REPLACED THE STRAPS. THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. HOWEVER, WHEN THE CONSUMER PUT THE FUEL IN THE VEHICLE, FUEL STARTED LEAKING IMMEDIATELY. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED BY FORD, THE RECALL DID NOT COVER HOLES IN TANKS CAUSED BY DEFECTIVE STRAPS UNLESS THE TANK FELL COMPLETELY OUT OF THE TRUCK AND HIT THE GROUND. THE CONSUMER REPLACED THE GAS TANK AT HIS EXPENSE. UPDATED 05/30/12
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE REVERSING FROM OF RESIDENTIAL GARAGE, SPARKS AND SMOKE STARTED TO EMIT FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE STOPPED ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 05V388000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 142,000.
FRONT BRAKE CALIPER MOUNTING BRACKET SEIZED ON THE SLIDE BOLTS THAT ALLOW THE BRAKES TO MOVE IN AND OUT WHEN PRESSED AND RELEASED. THE SLIDE BOLTS THAT ALLOW THE CALIPER TO MOVE HAVE SEIZED CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO PULL VERY HARD TO ONE SIDE OF THE ROAD. IN MY CASE I WAS TOWING A 20' COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPE TRAILER EQUIPPED WITH DUAL AXLE TRAILER BRAKES. I APPROACHED A TRAFFIC LIGHT AND PROCEEDED TO MAKE A LEFT TURN GOING A SPEED OF APPROXIMATELY 15 TO 20 MPH WHEN I PRESSED THE BRAKE DURING THE TURN THE TRUCK PULLED EXTREMELY HARD TO THE LEFT RESULTING IN MY TRAILER JACK KNIFING INTO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TRUCK CAUSING MAJOR DAMAGE TO MY BED AND REAR WHEEL ON MY TRUCK. LATER AFTER INVESTIGATING THE CAUSE OF THE SUDDEN PULL FOUND THAT THE LEFT BRAKE CALIPER MOUNTING BRACKET HAD ONE OF THE BOLTS SEIZED WHILE THE OTHER WAS MOVING PROPERLY ALLOWING THE BRAKE TO MOVE A LITTLE BUT NOT PROPERLY CAUSING THE BRAKE TO DRAG AGAINST THE ROTOR ON THE INNER BRAKE PAD. WHEN THE BRAKE IS PRESSED THE PRESSURE PULLS THE TRUCK TO THE LEFT EXTREMELY HARD. REPLACING THE SLIDE BOLTS AND THE BRAKE CALIPER MOUNTING BRACKET FIXED THIS ISSUE AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES AFTER REPLACEMENT. I KNOW THIS MAY BE A LITTLE HARD TO UNDERSTAND AS MY DESCRIPTION MAY NOT BE THE BEST, BUT THE UPPER BRAKE CALIPER BOLT WAS SEIZED WHILE THE LOWER BOLT WAS MOVING FREELY, WHEN THE BRAKE PEDDLE WAS PRESSED CAUSED THE LEFT BRAKE CALIPER TO GRAB HARDER THAN THE RIGHT SIDE CAUSING THE TRUCK TO PULL EXTREMELY HARD TO THE LEFT. THE TRAILER BRAKE WAS SET ON 7 AT THE TIME AND WORKED PROPERLY. THE TRUCK PULLED SO HARD TO THE LEFT CAUSED THE TRAILER TO BE AT SUCH A TIGHT ANGLE IT BEGAN TO SLIDE AND WHEN I REALIZED WHAT WAS HAPPENING IT WAS TO LATE TO CORRECT IT. THE BED IS STILL DAMAGED FROM THIS. BTW I BOUGHT MY FORD IN 2002 BRAND NEW WITH 5.4 V8 AND I AM AT 271,000 MILES AND IT RUNS LIKE THE DAY I PURCHASED IT! I LOVE IT! *TR
THE FUEL TANK STRAPS ON MY 2002 FORD F350 ROTTED OUT TO WERE THE FUEL TANK WAS HANGING ALL MOST HITTING THE GROUND, COULD HAVE BEEN A MAJOR DIESEL SPILL WITH 38 GALLON OF FUEL. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. WHILE TRAVELING 5 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED A CRACKING SOUND COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER EXAMINING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE REAR FRAME ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE HAD CRACKED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRAME NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 95,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT FLAMES WERE EMITTING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE SWITCH MELTED, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE MASTER CYLINDER. AS A RESULT, THE MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS WELL AS THE WIRING HARNESS AND A BRAKE REPAIR KIT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT HER AT A LATER DATE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 106,673.
SPARK PLUG EJECTED AT IGNITION WHILE PARKED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F150. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 35 MPH WHEN THE IGNITION CAUGHT ON FIRE AND MELTED THE AREA WHERE THE IGNITION KEY WAS LOCATED. THE CONTACT MERGED ONTO THE SHOULDER AS THE FIRE INDEPENDENTLY DIMINISHED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED BURNS TO THE FINGERS. HE THEN ATTEMPTED TO REINSERT THE KEY INTO THE IGNITION HOWEVER, TO NO AVAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS PUSHED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE AND LATER TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE IGNITION WOULD NEED REPLACING. THE CONTACT ALSO RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V385000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE: STORAGE: TANK ASSEMBLY: MOUNTING) FOR CORROSION OF ONE OR BOTH OF THE FUEL STRAPS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER WOULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE UNDER THE RECALL BUT WAS NOT ADVISED AS TO WHY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE AND COULD NOT PROVIDE A REASON WHY THE DEALER WOULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE UNDER THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED.THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, HE HEARD A LOUD BANG FROM THE ENGINE AND STARTED TO SMELL AN ABNORMAL FUEL ODOR. THE VEHICLE TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT ONE OF THE SPARK PLUGS WAS FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE SPARE TIRE DETACHED FROM UNDER THE VEHICLE. AFTER INSPECTING THE VEHICLE THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE SPARE TIRE CABLE WAS FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS OR REPAIRS. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,500.
SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT AND STRIPPED THREADS IN HEAD. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME A SPARK PLUG HAS BLOWN OUT OF THE HEAD. REPAIRED ONCE ABOUT A YEAR AGO. *TR
A NEIGHBOR CALLED 911 TO REPORT MY VEHICLE ON FIRE, PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY WHILE I WAS AT WORK. THE ENGINE WAS NOT ON AND THERE WERE NO KEYS IN THE IGNITION. THE LAST TIME THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN WAS 2/14/2012. A NEIGHBOR WAS ABLE TO SPRAY WATER ON THE FIRE, AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ABLE TO GET THE FIRE OUT AND PREVENT THE FIRE'S SPREAD TO THE CAB, OR TO MY HOUSE. THERE IS QUITE A BIT OF FIRE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPONENTS OF THE ENGINE MELTED ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE ENGINE, ABOVE THE LEFT FRONT TIRE. *TR
1. Coils on top of spark plug get moisture in them when there is just the right kind of rain storm. This makes the coil or coils fail until the dry out. This seems to make the coil eventually go bad. Yes, it is available for inspection. 2. Not sure if its a combination of heat and moisture but sometime right away and sometimes a few minutes into driving the coil or coils fail and the engine loses power. Then if seems to be a random, unpredictable occurrence until it dries out, Very Unsafe. If one coil fails it loses just a little power, but if more than one fails it loses a lot of power and stalls at times. This is why I am writing it up. A few time now, I have gone to pull into traffic and then I lose power and either have to run off the road or just upset the car behind me if they are not too close. 3 & 4. I have advise all the Ford dealerships in my area trying to find one that has a fix yet. The only fix Ford has, is a new designed coil, which does not appear to be any better. The dealership just replaces the coil. I have had all my coils replaced, some 2 or 3 times. 5. It depends, sometime the engine light will come on and advise which coil is misfiring and sometimes if does not. Right now my engine light is on and it displays the #6 coil misfire. Then the engine light will go out after it dries out and stops failing or it will stay off if the coil had gone bad again. I am sure its not just the F 150, but the 4.6 liter engine that is in other vehicles. I started keeping track in 2012. I wrote a letter to Ford in 2015 and they replied, there was no recall. I have several repair receipts and the letter from Ford if you need that. Just search on your site and you will see many complaints. One example Manufacturer Communication number: 041601. If you google "ford fix for moisture in coils" you will see many forums trying to figure out a fix and just complaining.
WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT WAITING TO PROCEED ON THE ARROW, I ACCELERATED AND HEARD VERY LOUD POP AND A VIOLENT SHAKE. PULLED OVER OUT OF TRAFFIC AND CHECK UNDER THE HOOD AND FOUND THAT THE RIGHT REAR SPARK PLUG EJECTED OUT OF HEAD. I WAS TRAVELING 60 MPH ON THE FREEWAY WHEN A SPARKPLUG WAS EJECTED FROM THE ENGINE, BREAKING THE COIL ATTACHMENT FROM THE ENGINE. I FOUND BOTH THE SPARK PLUG AND THE COIL LYING ON TOP OF THE ENGINE. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE FACILITY FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.

I RECEIVED A RECALL ON MY FORD F-150 PICKUP, REPLACE FUEL TANK STRAPS. I CALLED AND MADE A APPOINTMENT. WHEN I GOT TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY TOOK MY TRUCK TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THEY INFORMED ME , THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PARTS TO REPAIR IT. I AM REPORTING THIS INCIDENT AS THE PERSON WHO'S CAR WAS AFFECTED BY THE FIRE. I PARKED MY CAR NEXT TO A 2002 FORD F150, AND AFTER BEING HOME FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF, A POLICE OFFICER CAME TO MY DOOR AND TOLD ME THAT MY CAR (VW JETTA) WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR FIRE.
