FORD'S DECISION TO DISCONTINUE INSTALLING THE DOOR COURTESY LIGHTS. *PH. THE CONSUMER STATED THE COURTESY LIGHTS PROVIDED BETTER VISIBILITY WHEN STEPPING INTO THE VEHICLE AND EXITING THE VEHICLE AND THE LIGHTS ALSO WARNED APPROACHING TRAFFIC OF THE HAZARD OF AN OPEN DOOR. *JB
WHILE TRAVELING AT 75 MPH DRIVER'S SIDE AND PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAGS INADVERTENTLY DEPLOYED. DRIVER TEMPORARILY LOST CONTROL, AND WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL WITHOUT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND DEALER STATED WARRANTY EXPIRED. *AK
WHEN DRIVING FOR APPROXIMATELY 1/2 HOUR SHOULDER/LAP BELTS WOULD TIGHTEN UP AND APPLIED PRESSURE TO THE CHEST AREA. DRIVER REMOVED THE SHOULDER BELT TO RELIEVE CHEST PRESSURE.*AK
VEHICLE DOESN'T COME EQUIPPED WITH A REAR DEFOGGER SYSTEM. AS A RESULT, DRIVER IS UNABLE TO SEE OUT THE REAR IN RAINY OR SNOWY WEATHER. *AK
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING. *AK
AT HIGHWAY SPEED VEHICLE GOES INTO LOW 4-WHEEL DRIVE. *AK
THE FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE WOULD NOT OPERATE PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER THAT REPLACED THE PARTS WITH PARTS FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE OF THE SAME MAKE, MODEL, AND MODEL YEAR. THOSE PARTS FAILED THE SAME DAY OF REPAIR. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *NM
THE TRUCK'S SPEEDOMETER WAS NOT VISIBLE BECAUSE OF THE LIGHT COLOR USED. AS A RESULT THE DRIVER IS UNABLE TO DETERMINED THE VEHICLE'S SPEED. *NM
WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH VEHICLE VIBRATED. VIBRATION INCREASED RADICALLY AT 55 TO 70 MPH. VEHICLE WAS SERVICED, AND TECHNICIAN DETERMINED REAR END WAS TOO LIGHT. *AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT AN ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM. INSIDE LIGHTS WOULD NOT GO OUT ONCE THE DOOR WAS CLOSED. ALARM SYSTEM DID NOT WORK, AND SIDE REFLECTOR LIGHTS DID NOT COME ON. THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYED ON. *AK DOOR AJAR LIGHT STAYED ON FOR ABOUT 20 TO 25 MINUTES BEFORE THEY GO OFF. DOORS WON'T LOCK WHEN THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO. DEALER SAID THAT THEY CAN'T LOCATE THE PROBLEM WITH INSIDE LIGHTS. HOWEVER, DEALER MADE REPAIR ON HORN AND REPLACED FUSE FOR ALARM HORN. *LA
WHILE DRIVING 25-40 MPH FRONT OF THE VEHICLE SHOOK. VEHICLE HAD BEEN TO THE DEALER TWENTY TIMES, AND MECHANIC COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. *AK
