DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE ARE 10 GROOVES IN THE ROOF OF THE CAB ON THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT EXPRESSED CONCERN THAT DURING THE WINTER, THE GROOVES COULD FILL WITH WATER AND FREEZE. WHEN THE ICE DISLODGES, IT COULD BECOME A PROJECTILE TOWARDS OTHER VEHICLES BEHIND IT.
THIS INVOLVES A 2006 FORD F-150 4X4 SUPERCREW PICKUP WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND ADJUSTABLE PEDALS. ON AT LEAST 7 OCCASIONS I OR MY UNCLE HAVE EXPERIENCED INCIDENTS OF UNINTENDED ACCELERATION WITH THIS PICKUP. ALL CASES OCCURRED WHEN MANEUVERING THE PICKUP AT LOW SPEEDS, SUCH AS PARKING OR BACKING THE PICKUP UP. THESE UNINTENDED ACCELERATIONS ARE CAUSED BY THE FOOT, WHILE ON THE BRAKE PEDAL, COMING INTO CONTACT WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE GAP BETWEEN THE BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS TOO CLOSE, CAUSING A FOOT THAT IS ON THE EDGE OF THE BRAKE PEDAL TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WHEN BRAKING. THIS RESULTS IN THE ENGINE REVVING UP AND CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO LURCH FORWARD APPROXIMATELY 8 TO 12 FEET, UNTIL THE BRAKES ARE ENGAGED AND THE VEHICLE COMES TO A COMPLETE STOP. MY UNCLE AND MYSELF HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS PHENOMENON ON MY UNCLES 2004 FORD F-150, WHICH I REPORTED TO THE NHSTA. *JB
ON 15 JUNE 2006, MY WIFE WAS INVOLVED IN A ACCIDENT WHILE OPERATING A 2006 FORD F150. A VEHICLE STOPPED IN FRONT OF HER SHE PRESSED THE BRAKES AND THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPONDED TO HER BRAKING ACTION. WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT, I PRESSED THE BRAKES AND THEY WENT TO THE FLOOR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO WOODY ANDERSEN FORD IN HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA AND THE SERVICE MANAGER VERIFIED THAT THE BRAKES INDEED WENT TO THE FLOOR. WE WAITED A WEEK FOR A FORD ENGINEER TO VERIFY THE PROBLEMS AND HE STATED THAT WHEN HE DROVE THE VEHICLE IT WAS OKAY AT THAT TIME. THESE BRAKES FAILED MY WIFE AT 5 MILES AN HOUR AND CAUSED HER TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT. NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. *NM
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE'S ENGINE BOGGED DOWN PRIOR TO THE ENGAGEMENT OF THE PASSING GEAR WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS ON A 2 LANE HIGHWAY. THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE ACCELERATOR TO THE FLOORBOARD WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PASS A VEHICLE, BUT THERE WAS A LOSS OF POWER, ALONG WITH A 2 SECOND DELAY PRIOR TO THE PASSING GEAR ACTIVATION. THE PROBLEM OCCURRED ONLY DURING ACCELERATION AND IN OVERDRIVE. WHEN OUT OF OVERDRIVE, THE PASSING GEAR ACTIVATED INSTANTLY IN 3RD GEAR. THE CONTACT HAD A FRIEND WITH THE SAME VEHICLE WHICH WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TWICE AND DETERMINED THAT IT WAS THE NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ENGINE. THE SERVICE MANAGER HAD THE SAME VEHICLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND A COMPLAINT WAS TAKEN ON 08/04/06. THE VEHICLE HAD AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. THE INTEGRATED WHEEL END SOLENOID IS PRONE TO WATER FROM THE COWL DRAINING ONTO IT, THUS SHORTING OUT AND ALLOWING THE 4X4 VACUUM SYSTEM TO LOSE VACUUM. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, THE TRUCK'S FOUR WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM ENGAGES UNEXPECTEDLY AND CAUSES DAMAGE TO THE WHEEL HUBS. ONCE THIS HAPPENS, THE DEALERSHIP COSTS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE, REQUIRING A NEW IWE SOLENOID, VACUUM SYSTEM, AND FRONT HUBS. *TR
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE TRAVELING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, OR WHILE AT A STOP THE VEHICLE STALLS. THE VEHICLE RESTARTS EACH TIME. THE DEALERSHIP IS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE PROBLEM, NO CODES ARE STORED IN THE COMPUTER.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED A RECALL REPAIR COULD NOT BE PERFORMED BECAUSE A REQUIRED TOOL WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE DEALER DID NOT WANT TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT UNTIL THE TOOL WAS AVAILABLE. A RECALL LETTER WAS RECEIVED IN FEBRUARY AND THE VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS PRIOR TO RECEIVING THE LETTER ON THE MANUFACTURERS RECALL # 06C11 CONCERNING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
2006 F-150 4X4 SUPER CREW TILT LEVER FALLS OUT WHILE DRIVING, HAS BEEN REPLACED 5 TIMES. *KB ***NAR*** *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A RATTLING NOISE UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE A/C COMPRESSOR WAS SEPARATING. THE DEALER MADE THE REPLACEMENT, HOWEVER, THE NOISE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. AS OF SEPTEMBER 24, 2007, THE DEALER HAD NOT REPAIRED THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 495 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 23,900.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL EXCESSIVELY ABNORMALLY TRAVELED TO THE FLOORBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200. UPDATED 1/12/2016 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO BRAKE, HIS FOOT ALSO HIT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE UNLOADING GRAVEL THE TAILGATE FELL SUDDENLY, SEVERELY INJURING THREE FINGERS ON THE RIGHT HAND. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DETERMINED A PLASTIC PART IN THE HINGE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED PULLED UP TO A STOP STREET STEPPED ON BRAKE PEDAL AND ACCELERATOR PEDAL AT SAME TIME AND ALMOST BROADSIDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. BACKING OUT OF CONTACT'S DRIVEWAY THE SAME THING HAPPENED AND ALMOST HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT FELT IT WAS A SAFETY HAZARD AND SHOULD BE CORRECTED. UPDATED 05/30/2006. *AK
STEERING WHEEL SHIMMIES AT 50-70MPH. HAVE HAD TIRES ROTATED, TIRES REPLACED, FRONT END ALIGNED, BRAKE ROTORS REPLACED STILL THE SHIMMY IS THERE AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE BIG TIRES 18"RIMS 235/75 MAY PARTIALLY BEEN THE PROBLEM. WHAT? WHY WOULD FORD USE A TIRE THAT IS TOO BIG? AND CAUSE THE STEERING WHEEL TO SHAKE AND SHIMMY. HAVE HAD AN INDEPENDENT SHOP LOOK AT TRUCK AND CAN FIND NOTHING WRONG, BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD A VEHICLE HAVE SUCH A NOTICEABLE SHIMMY IN THE STEERING WHEEL. VERY UNSETTLING FEELING. *TR
GAS PEDAL TO BRAKE IS A 3" LIFT FROM GAS PEDAL THAN APPLY BRAKES ON NEW F-150 W/5 SPEED TRANSMISSION,THIS INCREASES TIME TO STOP OVER ONE SECOND. ALSO THE ACCESSORY 12V PORT FOR PHONES OR IPODS ETC DOESN'T SHUT-OFF WHEN KEY IS REMOVED,POSSIBLY CAUSING A VEHICLE FIRE IF LEFT UNATTENDED FOR ANY LONG LENGTH OF TIME. *NM
I WAS DRIVING CASUALLY ON US17 NORTH ON MY WAY TO WORK. MY TRUCK SUDDENLY LOST POWER AND SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. I TOOK IT IN TO THE DEALER THEY TOLD ME NOTHING WAS FOUND TO BE WRONG. THEN THE SAME EVENT HAPPENED ABOUT 7 MONTHS AFTER THAT. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE BACK IN FOR DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR. THEY TOLD ME NOTHING WAS WRONG AND TO TAKE IT BACK AND STOP WASTING THEIR TIME. I ASKED THEM TO KEEP IT AND GIVE ME A DIFFERENT VEHICLE IN WHICH THEY WOULD NOT. I LEFT THE TRUCK WITH THE DEALER AND FORD MOTOR CREDIT REPOSSESSED THE FAULTY VEHICLE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN HE APPLIED THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE LUNGED FORWARD. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO RECUR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A FORD DEALER WHO STATED THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHAT CAUSED THE FAILURE TO OCCUR. THE FAILURE WAS UNSUCCESSFULLY DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER TWICE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE HAD OCCURRED FOR FOUR YEARS AND HAD BECOME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE OVER TIME. THE FORD MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 4,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 82,000.
DURING NORMAL HIGHWAY DRIVING THE GAS TANK WAS RUPTURED ON A F150 SUPERCREW 4X4 KING RANCH BY UNKNOWN DEBRIS. THE GAS TANK DOES NOT HAVE A PROTECTIVE SHIELD. IT IS AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION, IT IS STANDARD EQUIPMENT ON THE 4X4 MODEL,WHICH I FOUND OUT LATER. UPON ARRIVING AT OUR DESTINATION WE NOTICED THE FUEL WAS SPILLING, I CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, THEY RECOMMENDED I CALL THE FIRE DEPT. THEY WERE ABLE TO STOP THE LEAK AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE NEAREST DEALERSHIP. THE GAS TANK WAS REPLACED AND I DO HAVE THE OLD TANK. *NM
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THERE WAS A VIBRATION WITHIN THE SUSPENSION. THE VEHICLE WAS SEEN BY A DEALER AND THE TIRES WERE BALANCED. AFTERWARDS, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO HAVE A VIBRATION. THE SERVICE MANAGER ATTRIBUTED THE PROBLEM TO THE BASIC HARMONICS OF THE VEHICLE. A VIBRATION ANALYZER WAS PLACED ON THE VEHICLE TO RECORD ANY SUSPENSION ISSUES, BUT NO VIBRATIONS WERE DETECTED. UPDATED 04/11/06. *JB
I CURRENTLY DRIVE A 2006 FORD F-150 WHICH I LEASED NEW IN MARCH OF 2006. SINCE DAY ONE I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE BRAKES ON THE TRUCK. THE BRAKE PEDAL GOES BELOW THE GAS PEDAL WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. MY WIFE CANNOT DRIVE THE TRUCK BECAUSE SHE CONSTANTLY HIT THE BRAKE AND GAS AT THE SAME TIME. I HAVE CHECKED WITH OTHER OWNERS AND THEY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE ALSO COMPLAINED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TELL ME THAT THIS IS NORMAL WITH THE NEW FORD TRUCKS. COMPLAINTS TO FORD DIRECT HAVE RESULTED IN NO RESPONSE. I ALSO HAVE THE PROBLEM OF HITTING THE BRAKE AND GAS AT THE SAME TIME UNLESS I PUMP THE BRAKES FIRST, IN A PANIC SITUATION THERE IS NOT TIME TO PUMP THE BRAKES. WHEN WE PURCHASED OUR NEW FORD TRUCK IT WAS MAKING A RATTLING NOISE IN THE ENGINE AND WE WERE INFORMED THAT IT WAS NO MAJOR PROBLEM. COME TO FIND OUT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED SO THE DEALERSHIP KEEP THE NEW TRUCK AND PUT IN A NEW ENGINE. WHEN THEY DELIVERED THE TRUCK A FEW WEEKS LATER IT WAS MAKING THE SAME NOISE. SO WE HAD IT TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY HAD TO GET ANOTHER ENGINE TO PUT IN THE TRUCK BECAUSE THE SECOND ENGINE WAS NOT ANY GOOD EITHER. WE BOUGHT THE TRUCK IN MARCH AND DID NOT EVEN GET TO DRIVE IT UNTIL THE END OF APRIL. IT WAS IN THE SHOP FOR OVER 30 DAYS AND IT HAD AROUND 8 TO 9 HUNDRED MILES PUT ON IT BY THE DEALERSHIP. *NM

EVERY TIME HE DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WOULD ALSO BE APPLIED. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT IT COMPLIED WITH FORD'S STANDARDS; THEREFORE, NOTHING COULD BE DONE. THE CONTACT FILED A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE MANUFACTURER. PURCHASED A FORD 2006 F-150 4X4 SO I COULD USE IT OFF ROAD AND THROUGH SNOW WHEN NECESSARY. TRIED TO HAVE CHAINS PUT ON IT AS CHP REQUIRES AND WAS TOLD THIS VEHICLE WILL NOT TAKE CHAINS DUE TO THE CONFIGURATION OF THE BRAKE LINES. WAS NOT TOLD THIS UP FRONT WHEN I PURCHASED VEHICLE. WHY BUY A 4X4 IF YOU CAN'T USE IT IN INCLEMENT WEATHER? FORD DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE A RESOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALERSHIP INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALERTED HOWEVER NO REPAIRS WERE MADE.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE THE BRAKE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED IT GOES PAST THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE MASTER CYLINDER WAS REPLACED IN AN ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. HOWEVER THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, AND THE CONTACT WAS THEN TOLD THIS IS THE WAY THE VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH ATTEMPTING TO APPLY BRAKE PRESSURE AROUND A CURVE THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING. THIS OCCURRED ON A NORMAL ROAD DURING NORMAL BRAKING. THE DRIVER WAS WEARING A SEAT BELT AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AT THE SCENE. THE VEHICLE WENT INTO A THREE FOOT DITCH AND HAD TO BE PULLED OUT. IT SUSTAINED FRONTAL DAMAGE AND THE TOW BAR WAS BENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR INSPECTION. THEY REPLACED THE TOW HOOK, FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET AND BALANCED THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, AFTER THE ACCIDENT, THE CONTACT RECEIVED RECALL #06C11, CONCERNING THE HYDRAULIC AND ELECTRICAL BRAKE SYSTEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALERTED.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE HAS SEVERAL PROBLEMS. WHILE DRIVING AT NO SPECIFIC SPEED, THE FRONT END VIBRATED AND RATTLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP FOR INSPECTION. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE SECOND PROBLEM OCCURRED WHILE ENTERING A CURVE AT 55MPH, THE RIGHT REAR TIRE BLEW. THE TIRE WAS NOT INSPECTED FOR THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE ALTHOUGH, THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE THIRD PROBLEM IS THE COOLING SYSTEM BOLTS WERE LOOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR ROUTINE INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE WHEN THE LOOSENESS OF THE BOLTS WAS DISCOVERED. THE DEALERSHIP TIGHTENED THE BOLTS FOR REPAIR.
I GOT THE TRUCK JANUARY 06, 2006 FROM THE DEALERSHIP. I SIGNED THE PAPERWORK AND WENT HOME WITH THE TRUCK. THE SALESPERSON HAD TOLD ME THAT I WAS BUYING THE TRUCK. WHEN THEY SEND ME MY FIRST PAYMENT I REALIZE THAT I WAS NOT BUYING THE TRUCK IN REALITY I WAS LEASING THE TRUCK. THE SALESPERSON COMPLETELY JUST LIED TO ME. AS SOON AS I FOUND OUT HOW I WAS LIED TO BY THE DEALERSHIP I RETURN THE TRUCK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. NOW HOW DO THEY EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR THE TRUCK IF I DON'T EVEN HAVE IT. *NM
2006 F150 FX 4 -4X4 SUPER CAB 5.4 L. I TRADED THE EXACT SAME TRUCK IN AN 04 MODEL YEAR FOR THIS 2006. FORD HAS REFUSED TO FIX ( FOR 3 MODEL YEARS ) : DRIVE TRAIN VIBRATION, DRIVE TRAIN HOWL/WHINE. THE 04 WAS IN THE SHOP 6 TIMES WITH NO FIX. MY 06 IN THE DEALERSHIP NOW. I HAVEN'T MADE THE FIRST PAYMENT OR THE FIRST OIL CHANGE. PROBLEMS NOT PRESENT ON TEST DRIVE. STARTED AT 500 MILES. OTHER PROBLEMS INCLUDE : BRAKE PEDAL IS MUSH. IT NEVER FIRMS UP. IT WILL GO TO THE FLOOR. DOORS WONT SHUT WITHOUT SLAMMING. SUPER CAB DOORS WONT SHUT TIGHT WITHOUT PUSHING TOP IN. MY BEST FUEL ECONOMY IS 13 MPG HIGHWAY WITH THE CRUISE ON. THE "NEW" F150'S ARE A DISGRACE TO THE FORD NAME. $ 38,000 P.O.S. !! MY LAST FORD. *NM

THE FRONT TURN SIGNALS ON MANY NEW CARS ARE NOT VISIBLE FROM A CROSS STREET AT ALL IN THE SUN , THE FAR SIGNAL IS NOT VISIBLE BECAUSE IT IS SO FAR BACK IT SHOULD BE CALLED A SIDE MARKER LIGHT. GET THEM BACK UP FRONT WHERE THEY ARE USEFUL !! ALSO THE DRIVING LIGHTS THAT ARE NOW ARE NOT DIMS , BUT ARE BEING USED AS SUCH. NOT SO MANY YEARS AGO , YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED FOR DRIVING WITH AUXILIARY LIGHTS ON!!*JB
WHILE DRIVING I NOTICED THAT THE STEERING SEEMED SLOPPY AND UNRESPONSIVE. DIFFICULT TO KEEP THE VEHICLE IN THE LANES ESPECIALLY GOING INTO OR OUT OF CURVES. UPON REACHING MY DESTINATION I ASKED MY ASSOCIATE TO OBSERVE THE STEERING COMPONENTS WHILE I TURNED THE WHEEL WITH THE ENGINE OFF. HE IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THE ENTIRE RACK AND PINION ASSEMBLY SHIFTING BACK AND FORTH. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION I FOUND THAT OF THE TWO BOLTS THAT HOLD THE UNIT TO THE CHASSIS ONE HAD A LOOSE NUT AND THE OTHER HAD NO NUT AT ALL. THE THREADS ON THE BOLT W/O THE NUT APPEARED TO NEVER HAVE EVEN HAD A NUT BUT I CAN NOT BE SURE OF THIS. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS A LITTLE MORE THAN UPSET THAT I HAD PUT MYSELF AND OTHERS AT GREAT RISK OVER POOR ASSEMBLY QUALITY CONTROL. *JB
SPARK PLUGS ON THE 5.3 LITER ENGINE WHEN REPLACED BREAK--IN RETURN THE BOOK SAID PULL ENGINE AND PULL HEADS TO REPLACE SPARK PLUGS. THE LAW SUIT FILLED FORD ADMITS TO BAD DECISION ON SPARK PLUGS AND WILL REIMBURSE SOME OF THE COST. THE COST IS VERY HIGH--THE BOOK AND FORD'S SHOP SAID THE ENGINE NEEDS TO BE PULLED TO PULL THE HEADS TO REPLACE THE SPARK PLUGS. THERE WAS NEVER ANY SOFTWARE UPDATES, AND NOW THE VEHICLE REQUIRES THEM. THE ERROR IN THE CLUSTER SOFTWARE RECALL WAS SUPPOSE TO BE REPAIRED AND I READ FROM THE EXPERTS ALL SOFTWARE SHOULD HAVE BEEN UPGRADED WITH THE CLUSTER ERROR. THERE ARE 42 P.M. FORD AND NHSTA KNEW OR KNOWS ABOUT ON MY VEHICLE AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE, I AM A 100% DAV AND MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN BROKEN DOWN. THE 2006 HARLEY DAVIDSON F-150 THAT COST SO MUCH WITH IT'S ON BOARD COMPUTER SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. I HAVE READ MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE F-150 ENGINE CUTTING OUT, I PULLED OUT TO PASS ON A TWO LANE ROAD AND ALMOST GOT KILLED WHEN MINE CUT OUT SO BAD. DESIGN FLAW OF HEADLIGTS ON 2006 FORD PICKUP TRUCKS AND 2006 DODGE PICKUP TRUCKS--TOO MUCH STRAY LIGHT BLINDING ON-COMING TRAFFIC. *NM
THE REAR OF THE FRAME HAS NEARLY COMPLETELY BROKEN THROUGH BOTH SIDES OF THE FRAME CAUSING THE BED OF THE VEHICLE TO CONTACT THE REAR CAB OF THE VEHICLE. BOTH SIDES ARE COMPLETELY RUSTED THROUGH CAUSING A SAFETY CONCERN AS THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE COULD COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM THE FRONT END. I STARTED NOTICING A TAPPING SOUND COMING FROM THE BACK END OF THE VEHICLE ON FEB 5, 2020, WHICH WAS ABOUT A WEEK AGO. AFTER RESEARCHING THE NOISE I NOTICED THAT THE TOP OF THE BED WAS TOUCHING THE CAB WHILE THE BOTTOM OF THE BED WAS ABOUT 4-5 INCHES FROM THE CAB. AFTER INSPECTING THE FRAME OF THE TRUCK AT THE REAR, I SAW THAT THE FRAME WAS NEARLY COMPLETELY RUSTED THROUGH ON BOTH SIDES.
2006 F150 LARIAT BRAKE PEDAL FELT SPONGY AND GOES TO THE FLOOR WHEN APPLIED. MASTER CYLINDER WAS REPLACED BUT DID NOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM. *TS THE CONSUMER SUSPECTED THE ABS WAS MALFUNCTIONING. *JB
2006 FORD F-150 WITH BRAKE FAILURE. CUSTOMER STATES THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL FELL ALMOST ALL THE WAY TO FLOOR LEVEL. HE STATES THAT THE DEALER IS UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO FIX THE PROBLEM. *KB
