VEHICLE WOULD NOT GO FASTER THEN 35MPH, IF IT DOES GO OVER 35MPH VEHICLE WOULD STALL, REPLACE FUEL PUMP. TT
ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE ON A PARKED 1995 FORD F-250. THE FIRE SPREAD RAPIDLY THROUGHOUT THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, AND CAUSED A CAR PARKED NEXT TO THE TRUCK TO CATCH FIRE. THE VEHICLE IS TOTALED. THE FIRE INVESTIGATOR FOR MOUNT PROSPECT, IL, INDICATED THAT IT WAS LIKELY AN INTERNAL ELECTRICAL FAULT. *TR
CONSUMER COMPLAINT CONCERNING THE RECALL ON HIS VEHICLE. *TS THE CONSUMER IS CURRENTLY AWAY AND UNABLE TO HAVE THE RECALL (05S28) REPAIR MADE ON THE CRUISE CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH. THE CONSUMER WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE RECALL WORK CAN STILL BE DONE A YEAR TO A YEAR AND A HALF FROM NOW. *NM

CONSUMER HAS HAD A CONTINUOUS ALIGNMENT PROBLEM WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE PULL TO THE RIGHT. *AK

IDLER ARM LOCATED NEA RTHE ENGINE SHEARED OFF,CAUSING THE ARM TO GO INTOTHE FAN BLADE.
THE DEALER HAS REPLACED LEFT AND RIGHT MANIFOLS. THIS OCCURED IN 1997, 1998, AND NOW IN 1999. I WAS TOLD BY OTHER OWNNERS THIS MAY HAPPEN ON MY VEHICLE BEFORE IT HAPPENED. THIS IS THIRD TIME, ONCE JUST THE GASKET, ONE SIDE WAS COVERED BY DEALERSHIP, THE OTHER SIDE I HAD TO PAY OUT OF MY POCKET @ $449.
WHIL DRIVING IN THE 4-WHEEL DRIVE MODE, VEHICLE MAKES A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE. ACCORDING TO DEALER RIVET ON CROSSMEMBER FRAME THAT CONNECTS THE MAIN FRAME COMES LOOSE. FORD KNEW ABOUT IT, BURT WILL NOT WARRANTY REPAIRS. *AK
FRONT AXLE OUT OF ALIGNMENT AND OF POOR DESIGN. NLM
EA99032; DUAL FUEL TANK CROSSFLOW/LEAKAGE: A PORTION OF THE UNUSED FUEL FROM ONE TANK TO BE RETURNED TO SECOND TANK. WHEN THIS OCCURRED THE SECOND TANK EXCEEDED, CAUSING FUEL SPILLAGES. SPILLED FUEL CAN RESULT IN A FIRE WHEN EXPOSED TO A SOURCE OF IGNITION. DEALER/MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED CONSUMER THAT VEHICLE WAS NOT PART OF A RECALL. *AK
INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WERE NO BRAKES/ STEERING, AND NO CONTROL. ENGINE CONTINUED TO RUN WHEN THIS HAPPENED. IT HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES WITHIN THE LAST FOUR MONTHS. DEALER WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE PROBLEM. FORD WAS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. *AK THE VEHICLE'S IGNITION SWITCH IS A MAJOR PROBLEM THAT FORD COMPANY HAS TO RECALL. *YH

WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS VEHICLE WILL JUST SHUT OFF, CAUSING A LOSS OF ALL POWER FEATURES. AFTER IT SITS FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES, IT WILL START RIGHT BACK UP. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED.*AK
WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 60-65 MPH TREAD ON REAR DRIVER'S GOODYEAR WRANGLER HT TIRE CAME OFF. DRIVER WAS ABLE TO CONTROL A 1995, FORD, F250. TIRE SIZE LT 23585R16. TIRE MILEAGE ABOUT 20,000, ORIGINAL TIRE EQUIPMENT. *AK *SLC
VEHICLE WAS AT A STANDSTILL/ IDLING, AND SUDDENLY EXHAUST SOUNDED LIKE MARBLES, AND TURBO QUIT. ALSO, HAD TO GET REAR MAIN SEAL REPLACED TWICE. BRAKE ROTORS WERE WARPED, AND TRANSMISSION DID NOT SHIFT PROPERLY. PLEASE ADD ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *AK
WHILE APPLING BRAKES PEDAL WOULD TRAVEL TO FLOOR BOARD. DEALER WAS CONTACTED, TECHNICIAN REPLACED MASTER CYLINDER, VEHICLE STILL HAS PROBLEM. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
