THERE IS VISIBLE SHAKING IN FRONT END AT 65 MPH. DEALER CANNOT REMEDY.*AK
COMPLETE BRAKE FAILURE HAS OCCURRED. THE NIGHT I BROUGHT IT HOME THEN TWO WEEKS LATER THE SAME THING. WENT TO APPLY BRAKES AND PEDAL WENT TO FLOOR. I DID HEAR A NOISE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD WHILE IT OCCURED. AFTER I COASTED TO STOP. BRAKES WERE FIND AGAIN. VERY BIZZARRE!
ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE POWER STEERING IS WEAK OR NON-EXISTING WHEN PUTTING FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND DRIVING IN SLOW CONDITIONS. DEALER STATES THIS IS NORMAL, CONSUMER ALSO STATES THAT TAIL GATE DOES NOT OPEN, STABILIZER LINK REPLACED. *AK *TT
THIS PROBLEM HAS TO DO WITH THE INABILITY TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN TRUCK IS BEEING OPERATED FROM 0-5 MPH AND WHEN BRAKE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED. THE POWER ASSIST IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO TURN THE WHEEL DUE TO BRAKES AND STEERING USING THE SAME ASSIST RESULTING IN SEVERE HARDSHIP ATTEMPTING TO DO THINGS LIKE BACK A TRAILER OR PARRALLEL .*AK
WHILE TRAVELING AT SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH THERE WAS VIBRATION IN VEHICLE WHICH CONCERNED DRIVER. DEALERSHIP HAS EXAMINED VEHICLE, AND DETERMINED THAT WHEELS COULD NOT BE ALIGNED BECAUSE TIRES SLID ALONG THE RIM. CONSUMER HAD TO PURCHASE NEW TIRES FROM A SEARS CENTER. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / ATTACHMENTS, I.E., GENERAL TIRE INFORMATION/ SIZE, AND DOT NUMBERS. *AK

WHILE TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS CLUTCH BECAME DISENGAGED FROM MECHANISM THAT IT WAS ATTACHED TO. DRIVER COULD NOT GET OUT OF GEAR. DRIVER FELT THIS WAS VERY UNSAFE. DEALER REPLACED MASTER CYLINDER AND CLUTCH. *AK
CONSUMER STATED ALL TIRES WERE DRY ROTTED, THE DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED (ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT ON 2001 FORD F250 TIRE SIZE LT265/75R16). NLM THE DOT NUMBERS FOR ALL FOUR TIRES ARE: VNW 81 X M2900. *JG
WHILE TRYING TO APPLY BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN VEHICLE UNEXPECTEDLY STARTED TO ACCELERATE. CAUSE UNKNOWN CONTACTED DEALER, AND DEALER COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE. *AK
TRUCK TENDS TO WANDER ACROSS THE ROAD WHEN IT HITS A SEAM IN THE ROAD. OWNER HAS TAKEN TRUCK TO DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES FOR REPLACEMENT OF STEERING BOX, WHICH WAS REPLACED 3 TIMES. CAUSE OF FAILURE IS STILL UNKNOWN. PLEASE DESCRIBE DETAILS.*AK
CONSUMER WAS PULLING OUT OF AN INTERSECTION ONTO A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY. THE CONSUMER FLOOR THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IN ORDER TO GET UP TO SPEED WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHEN THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY IDLED DOWN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DETERMINED THAT THE THROTTLE STOPPING DEVICE ON THE PEDAL ASSEMBLY BENT WHEN THE PEDAL WAS FLOOR AND CAUSED THE TRUCK TO IDLE DOWN INSTEAD OF UP. THE STEERING WHEEL DID NOT RESPOND WHEN THE CONSUMER SLAMMED ON THE BRAKE. *JG *NLM
THE AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY, WHEN THE VEHICLE HIT A TREE.*JB
THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED REAR BRAKE FAILURE WHILE DRIVING. IT WAS LATER DETERMINED THAT THE PISTON IN THE CALIPER EXPLODING AND BROKE INTO PIECES. *NLM
FRONT DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S TIRES DEVELOPED SLITS ON THE SIDEWALL, RESULTING IN A FLAT.LT26575R16. *AK
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WAS MAKING A NOISE WHILE DRIVING. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER,WHO REPLACED THE DRIVELINE. 1200 MILES LATER, TRANSMISSION HAD TO BE REPLACED AGAIN. *AK
WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED AT LOW SPEEDE THE POWER STEERING LOCKED UP WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO STEER VEHICLE. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH WINDSHIELD WAS IMPACTED BY A SMALL OBJECT. WHEN THIS OCCURRED WINDSHIELD GLASS SPIRALED OUT, AND SMALL PIECES OF SPARE SHAPE GLASS WENT INTO THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE AND HIT THE OCCUPANTS.*AK
CONSUMER SAID THE VEHICLE WAS SHIFTING IMPROPERLY. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND DEALER INDICATED THAT TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK
THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION IS NOT SHIFTING CORRECTLY CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO JERK. A TRANSMISSION TECHNICIAN DETERMINED THAT THE SPRAG FAILED AND THE TRANSMISSION MUST BE REBUILT. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS.
FORD HAD INSTALLED A WRONG PART IN THE TRANSMISSION. IT WAS AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, AND FORD PUT IN A CLUTCH THAT DESTROYED THE TRANSMISSION. *AK
