RODENTS ARE EATING WIRES IN MY MOTOR. I SAW ON FORD WEBSITE THAT THEY ARE USING SOYBASED WIRE INSULATION. THERE IS A CLASS ACTION THAT HAS BEEN FILED BY CONSUMER AGAINST HONDA..WHO IS USING SAME SOYBASED PRODUCTS IN THEIR MANUFACTURING CAR PROCESS AND HAS EVEN INVENTED A DUCT TAPE COATED WITH A PRODUCT THAT SHOULD DETOUR RODENTS FROM CHEWING THESE WIRES IF IT IS WRAPPED AROUND THE WIRING INSIDE THE MOTOR. THEY REFUSE TO COVER..(FORD)..AND (HONDA) THESE REPAIRS UNDER OUR MANUFACTURES WARRANTY FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIAL..WHICH IS NOT FAIR TO US THE CONSUMER. IT WILL ME...FORD SAID....OVER TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS TO REPAIR. THIS SOYBASED PRODUCTS..ATTRACT THE RODENTS..AND EITHER SHOULD BE STOPPED IN THE MANUFACTURING OF CARS..OR MANUFACTURE TO BE REQUIRED TO..REPLACE..FREE OF CHARGE. IF THEY REPAIR..AT MY EXPENSE..RODENTS WILL ONLY CONTINUE TO BE LURED TO MY CARS..WIRING..TO CHEW IT UP AGAIN. THIS COULD RESULT IN FIRES..CRASHES..IS VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION..NOT TO MENTION..COSTLY TO US THE CONSUMER. HONDA WOULD NOT OF INVENTED THAT DUCT TAPE..BUT THEY DID BECAUSE THEY KNEW DARN WELL THAT IT IS ATTRACTING RODENTS. WE ALL WANT ECO FRIENDLY PRODUCTS..BUT NOT WHEN IT PUTS CONSUMERS..AT GRAVE RISK. I HAVE LIVED AT MY HOME FOR OVER 25 YEARS..NEVER..HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ME. THIS IS SECOND OCCURANCE. FIRST TIME COST ME UNDER THREE HUNDRED. I DO NOT WANT THIS TO COST ME MY OR MY CHILD'S LIFE..THE NEXT TIME.
REPEATED ISSUES WITH TRANSMISSION, SHUTTERING WHEN DRIVING. ALSO HAVE HAD THE CARE HESITATE WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOPPED LOCATION ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT TWO DIFFERENT TIMES. TOOK CAR INTO DEALER TO GET FIXED AND THEY STATED THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND ISSUE. CONTACTED FORD MOTOR COMPANY CORPORATE OFFICE REQUESTING A BUYBACK DUE TO THE UNSAFE CONDITIONS, THEY DID AN "GOOD FAITH REVIEW" AND INFORMED ME THAT THEY WOULD NOT BUY BACK MY CAR. THE WOULD NOT EXPLAIN THE REASONING OR ISSUE AND PAPERWORK SHOWING THE REVIEW, "FORD DOES NOT HAVE TO RELEASE THE FINDINGS SINCE IT WAS A GOOD FAITH REVIEW".
THE VEHICLE SHUDDERS WHEN THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTS BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND GEAR. THE PROBLEM OCCURS WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STANDING STOP.
FORD FOCUS EV- WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE LOSES POWER AND SHUTS DOWN SAYING "PLEASE PULL OVER SAFELY." HAVE TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE AND THEY CANNOT FIND A SOLUTION. VERY DANGEROUS AS THE VEHICLE STOPS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHEN DRIVING!
WE ARE EXPERIENCING EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE AS MANY OTHER PEOPLE (41) REPORTED ON THIS WEBSITE AND MORE PEOPLE ON OTHER WEBSITES ON INTERNET. NHTSA CONDUCTED OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION ON THIS ISSUE (NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: PE13031). WE HAVE TO UNFORTUNATELY REPORT THAT FORD HAS NOT ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE TILL THIS DATE (9-3-2016). OUR CAR WAS MULTIPLE TIMES IN DIFFERENT FORD DEALERSHIPS BUT NONE OF THEM WERE ABLE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. THE REPLACED BATTERY, HIGH VOLTAGE HARNESS, REPROGRAMMED PCM AND TPM MODULES SEVERAL TIMES BUT THE SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE IS STILL PRESENT. WE HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS ISSUE MORE THAN 10 TIMES SINCE 2014 (WE STOPPED COUNTING), EVEN 5 TIMES IN ONE DAY. ISSUE: THE VEHICLE, WHILE IN MOTION, SUDDENLY LOSES POWER AND DRIVER RECEIVES A RED TRIANGLE INDICATOR AND THE MESSAGE "STOP SAFELY NOW" IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. DRIVER UNFORTUNATELY CANNOT STOP SAFELY BECAUSE THE VEHICLE LOSSES ALL ENGINE POWER AND IS DECELERATING VERY FAST SO THE DRIVER DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO PULL OVER WHILE IN TRAFFIC OR DRIVING ON A FREEWAY. WE WOULD LIKE NHTSA TO TAKE ACTION AGAIN AS THE ISSUE WAS NOT ADDRESSED IN 2013 AS STATED UNDER NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: PE13031. THIS IS SAFETY ISSUE NOT ONLY FOR THE DRIVER AND VEHICLE OCCUPANTS BUT ALSO FOR OTHER PEOPLE IN SURROUNDING VEHICLES.
PROBLEMS HARD SHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND AND ONCE IN 3RD SHIFTING PROBLEM GOES AWAY. SAME AS TECHNICAL BULLETIN 14M01 BUT NOT ALL 2014S ARE COVERED.
WE ARE AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE AS WE HAVE TAKEN IT IN MANY TIMES FOR SHAKING AND VIBRATING THAT OCCUR AT ABOUT 1.75 RPM. THE VEHICLE FEELS AS IF IT IS SHAKING SO HARD THAT YOU LET OFF THE GAS AND ATTEMPT TO GAIN SPEED AGAIN BUT SLOWER. THIS DOES NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE MOTOR MOUNTS WERE REPLACED, THE TRANSMISSION WAS TAKEN APART AND CHECKED AND THE VEHICLE STILL DOES THIS TO THE EXTENT THAT I USE A SECOND VEHICLE PURCHASED AND HAVE ONLY PUT 30,000 MILES ON THIS VEHICLE IN 5 YEARS.
WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH ON HIGHWAY THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT TIRE FAILED CATASTROPHICALLY CAUSING TEMPORARY LOSS OF CONTROL. CAR WAS SAFELY PULLED TO SIDE OF HIGHWAY. UPON INSPECTION, IT WAS NOTED THAT THE SIDEWALL HAD FAILED IN MULTIPLE PLACES. CAR WAS CAREFULLY DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 2000 FEET TO SAFE LOCATION FOR WHEEL REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT WITH SPARE. UPON REMOVAL IT WAS NOTED THAT TIRE HAD FAILED IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS ON BOTH SIDEWALLS. THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF ROAD HAZARD DAMAGE TO THE TREAD AREA NOR WAS ANY ROAD DEBRIS NOTED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.
UPON ACCELERATION FROM A STOP, THE RPM'S REV UP AND THE CAR DOES NOT PROCEED FORWARD. WHEN IT DOES PROCEED FORWARD, IT IS AT A SLOW PACE, WITH A JERKING MOTION. THERE IS ALSO A VIBRATION FROM THE ENGINE AREA AT TIMES WHEN THE CAR IS STOPPED.
FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE IN 2014 THIS CAR HESITATES UPON ACCELERATION SHUTTERS AND SHAKES. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS TIMES WHEN I HAVE FELT UNSAFE AND AT RISK FOR BODILY HARM. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO MY DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES AND HAVE BEEN TOLD REPEATEDLY "THIS IS THE WORST TRANSMISSION FORD HAS EVER MADE." BUT THEY EXPLAIN THAT FORD WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. "I WISH THEY WOULD, EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THIS CAR." ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS WHILE TRAVELING BETWEEN A STOPPED POSITION AND FIVE, 10, OR 15 MILES AN HOUR THIS CAR HESITATES SHAKES AND SHIMMYING. I HAD IT IN A LITTLE OVER A MONTH AGO WITH THE SAME ISSUE. THEY DID NOTHING AND TOLD ME "FORD SAYS IF IT FALLS WITHIN A CERTAIN PARAMETER THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. OUR HANDS ARE TIED." THIS MORNING I WAS HEADING TO A FAMILY FUNERAL, PULLED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY TRIED TO ACCELERATE AND MY CAR CHOKED AND DIED. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET IT RESTARTED AND HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP HOPING TO GET BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HONESTLY BELIEVE THERE SHOULD BE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY FOR THIS INFERIOR PRODUCT. ALSO, MY RADIO HAS NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY. IF I TURN THE REAR DEFROST ON THERE IS HORRIBLE STATIC OVER THE RADIO. THE DEALER JUST KEEPS ON TELLING ME "YOU HAVE BAD RECEPTION. "
TRANSMISSION HESITATES AND SHUDDERS ON ACCELERATION, HAVE HAD IT REPAIRED TWICE AND NOW FORD SAYS THAT ITS WITHIN THE LIMITS AND DOES NOT NEED REPAIR DRIVE IT SOME MORE UNTIL IT GETS WORSE.
I WAS DRIVING MY 2014 FORD FOCUS SE AND THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE REPAIR SHOP AND WAS TOLD THAT MY FUEL TANK, FUEL PUMP AND VAPOR MANAGEMENT VALVE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND IT WILL COST 2000 DOLLARS. THIS WAS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. FORD REFUSES TO DO A RECALL EVEN KNOWING THERE WERE ISSUES WITH THIS PROBLEM

THE CONTACT ALSO INDICATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER REPLACED THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY THREE TIMES, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE RANDOMLY STALLED, LUNGED FORWARD, AND THE GEARS SKIPPED SEVERAL TIMES WHEN PLACED IN REVERSE. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE IF THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED NO SOLUTION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE CARBON CANISTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO TAKEN TO OPELIKA FORD (801 COLUMBUS PKWY, OPELIKA, AL 36801, (334) 749-8113) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V735000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
I HAD YET ANOTHER "STOP SAFELY NOW" WARNING IN WHICH THE CAR COMPLETELY LOST POWER TO THE DRIVETRAIN WHILE IN MOTION. I HAD PREVIOUSLY TAKEN IN THE CAR FOR THE RECALL IN JANUARY AND WAS TOLD THAT WOULD RESOLVE THE ISSUE, BUT THE PROBLEM HAS POPPED UP AGAIN. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS THING TO HAPPEN TO HAVE A CAR SUDDENLY LOSE ALL POWER WHILE DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. FORD HAS CLEARLY NOT FIXED THIS PROBLEM YET.
YES I JUST RECENTLY FINANCED A 2014 FORD FOCUS SE FROM THE DEALER SHIP IN HAGERSTOWN MD AFTER TWO DAYS OF DRIVING IT STARTED SHIFTING FUNNY I LOOSE POWER IT BUCKS AND ACTS LIKE IT'S GOING TO STALL I HAVE CHILDREN I TOLD FORD IN HAGERSTOWN THEY KNEW ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AND DIDN'T TELL US THEY SAY THE TRANSMISSION IS JUNK THAT IT NEEDS REPLACED IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH STILL HAVE NO TRANSMISSION AND THEY WON'T TELL ME WHY PLUS THE CAR IS DRIFTING BACKWARDS I'M AFRAID FORR I MY HUSBAND AND CHILDREN'S SAFETY I HAVE TO TRAVEL FOR MY WORK IT'S THE ONLY FAMILY VEHICLE I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE
WARNING LIGHT CAME ON STATING "STEERING ASSIST FAULT". . WE LOST ALL POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING THE CAR. WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE CAR INTO A REST AREA OFF THE HIGHWAY. WE HAD NO POWER STEERING AND IT MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO OPERATE THE CAR. THE STEERING GEAR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT 36,900 MILES AT A COST OF $2,121.74. FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NO HELP AT ALL TO ME. THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO RETURN CALLS WITHIN 4 HOURS AND IT TOOK ME 10 DAYS UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO GET A CALL BACK.THERE CURRENTLY IS NO RECALL BUT 900 MILES PAST WARRANTY I WOULD NOT EXPECT THIS TO HAPPEN.

THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE FAILURE STARTED TWO WEEKS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS LEASED IN 2014. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000.

THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR LATCH WILL NOT STAY LATCHED. THE DOOR CAME OPEN WHILE DRIVING AND WILL NOT RETURN TO THE LATCHED POSITION.

I CONTACTED FORD LOCAL AND CORPORATE. FORD CORPORATE TOLD ME THAT RECALLS WERE VIN SPECIFIC. I TOLD THEM THAT WAS CONCERNING. I AM STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY PUTTERING CAR. I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR A RECALL PREVIOUSLY AND THE PROBLEM WAS NOT FIX. THE GENERAL MANAGER CALLED ME IN RESPONSE TO MY NOT BEING SATISFIED. HE LEFT A MESSAGE. I DID NOT RETURN HIS CALL. RECENTLY, I GOT ANOTHER RECALL CONCERNING DOOR LATCH. I SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR THAT RECALL. THE PREVIOUSLY RECALL WITH THE SWITCH WAS NOT FIXED PROPERLY. NOW MY CAR DEFROST SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING. SOMETIMES MY SEATBELT WON'T BUCKLE. WHY WANT FORD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY CONCERNING THEIR PRODUCTS. I AM AN AVID FORD BUYER. PLEASE DOCUMENT MY CONCERNS CONCERNING BY ENGINE STALLING, DEFROSTER AND SEATBELT. I NOTICED THAT THERE WERE 8 RECALLS FOR THE 2014 FORD FOCUS. I RELAYED THIS TO FORD. THE VEHICLE JERKS AND JUMPS TO GEARS, FEELING LIKE SKIPPING GEARS,. I HAVE HAD IT TO THE DEALER A NUMBER OF TIMES, THEY REPLACED CLUTCH, STILL NOT BETTER, FORD SAYS THAT IS ALL THEY CAN DO. THE DEALER SAYS A KNOWN FORD ENGINEERING ISSUE AND THAT THEY WISH THEY'D GET RECALLED AS HUNDREDS AT JUST THSI DEALER COMPLAINTS.
EVERY YEAR (10,000 MILES) I TAKE MY CAR BACK TO FORD FOR A NEW CLUTCH. I HAVE HAD TWO NEW CLUTCHES IN TWO YEARS. THE DEALER SAID THAT FORD WILL NOT ADMIT THEIR IS A PROBLEM. THEY TOLD ME THAT I WILL NEED A NEW CLUTCH EVERY YEAR. THEY SAID FORD ONLY PATCHES THE PROBLEM AND WILL NOT SPEND THE RESOURCES TO REPAIR PROPERLY. THE TRANSMISSION IS JERKY AT MOST SPEEDS UNDER 50 MPH. IT IS JERKY ON SMALL HILLS. THE SIFT IS INCONSISTENT FROM DAY TO DAY. PLEASE HELP THE DRIVING IS NOT SAFE.

AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V523000 (POWER TRAIN), THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO EXHIBIT TRANSMISSION FAILURES AND THE CHECK TRANSMISSION WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE BECAME INOPERABLE AND WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING; HOWEVER, THE DETAILS OF THE DIAGNOSIS COULD NOT BE PROVIDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,488.
THE TRANSMISSION IS DEFECTIVE, IT STALLS AND HAS ISSUES CHANGING FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR BUT IT WAS AN AUTOMATIC. IT HESITATES TO GO CAUSING SAFETY ISSUES. COUNTLESS TIMES I HAVE FELT UNSAFE AS THE CAR HEISTED TO TURN OR CROSS LANES.
FAULTY CLUTCH. I HAVE JUST HAD THE CLUTCH REPLACED FOR THE SECOND TIME ON THE LISTED VEHICLE. WHILE PICKING UP THE CAR FROM THE DEALER THIS MORNING, ANOTHER FOCUS CAME IN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. A COWORKER HAS A LEASED FOCUS, AND HE HAS THE SAME ISSUES. I KNOW TWO OTHER OWNERS OF THE FOCUS, AND BOTH HAVE HAD CLUTCH REPLACEMENTS AND CONTINUE TO HAVE PROBLEMS. THE VEHICLE, WHEN ACCELERATING, DOES NOT SHIFT EVENLY OR SMOOTHLY. OFTEN TIMES, IT DRIVES AS IF IT IS DRAGGING OR PULLING SOMETHING, FEELING SIGNIFICANTLY UNDERPOWERED. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO SPEED UP IN SITUATIONS SUCH AS MERGING INTO FREEWAY TRAFFIC OR PASSING A SLOWER VEHICLE, IT SIMPLY WILL NOT DOWNSHIFT, OR IT WILL DOWN SHIFT TOO FAR. EITHER WAY, IT DOES NOT ACCELERATE AND POSES A SAFETY ISSUE. LAST WEEK, BEFORE TURNING THE CAR BACK INTO BOB MAXEY (NOT PURCHASED THERE, BUT THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT ROCKS!), THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ENTER EASTBOUND 1-94 FROM 12 MILE IN ROSEVILLE, MI. I HAD TO TAKE THE SHOULDER BECAUSE THE SEMI BEHIND DID NOT HAVE ROOM TO MOVE OVER AND AVOID MY FOCUS THAT SIMPLY WOULD NOT ACCELERATE FAST ENOUGH TO SAFELY MERGE INTO FREEWAY TRAFFIC. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND I DO NOT HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THIS CAR TO PERFORM AS IT SHOULD.
WHILE I WAS DRIVING MY FORD FOCUSE SE IT LOST THE POWER AT THE RED LIGHT . THE CAR DIED ON ME ,IT WAS THE SCARIEST MOMENT , I ALMOST LOST MY LIFE GETTING HIT BY ANOTHER CAR TRYING TO PUSH THE CAR TO THE SIDE . VERY UNSAFE CAR , WOULD NEVER DRIVE THAT CAR AGAIN !

TRANSMISSION: SHUTTERS. BUCKS. SHIFTS HARD. WHEN ACCELERATING THE TRANSMISSION BUCKS AND SHUTTERS WHICH MAKES CAR TO FEEL LIKE IT IS BOUNCING. FIRST TIME I HAD VEHICLE SERVICED THEY "FLASH REBOOTED" TRANSIMISSION WAS TOLD TO DRIVE IT 500 TO 1000 MILES SO IT CAN RESET ITSELF. SECOND TIME HAD SAME ISSUES THE CLUTCHES WERE REPLACED IN TRANSMISSION WHICH MY EXTENDED WARRANTY I PURCHASED COVERED. THE TRANSMISSION WAS SHIFTING NORMAL FOR AWHILE BUT NOW IT IS DOING THE SAME BUCKING, SHUTTERING ACTION IT WAS DOING A FEW DAYS AFTER PURCHASING IT.
THE FORD FOCUS STUTTERS WHEN TAKING OFF. EVERYTIME I GO TO GET ON HIGHWAY IT WONT ACCELERATE AND SHAKES. IT'S SCARY I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE IT WILL CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND FORD SERVICE SHOPS REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT EVEN THOUGH MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN UNDER WARRANTY.
TRANSMISSION SHUDDERS FROM START TO 2ND GEAR. WHILE MOVING AT LOW SPEEDS (5MPH) AND ACCELERATING THE CAR JERKS THAT EVERYONE IN THE CAR NOTICES. THE TRANSMISSION CLUTCH HAS BEEN REPLACED 3 TIMES, THE TRANSMISSION REPROGRAMMED 4 TIMES. CAR HAS LESS THAN 40,000 MILES. THE BALL JOINT HAS BEEN REPLACED AT 27,000 MILES.

WHEN STOPPED AT A LIGHT OR SOMETHING, CAR HESITATES LIKE IT'S GONNA DIE. THE RPM'S SHOOT WAY UP AND IF I GO TO BRAKE, THEY LIKE ALMOST GET STUCK IN HIGH RPM. TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS. TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON WHEN I'VE CHECKED THE TIRES PRESSURE AND EVERYTHING
ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASING I NOTICED THE VEHICLE HAD DIFFICULTY SHIFTING PROPERLY. IT SEEMED TO BE JUMPY WHEN I ACCELERATED AFTER A COMPLETE STOP. THEN, I BEGAN TO NOTICE THE CAR STRUGGLING TO ACCELERATE WHILE I MERGED INTO TRAFFIC. I FELT WHAT COULD BE BEST DESCRIBED AS A FROG HOPPING WHEN I WAS IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC. TURNING CORNERS ALSO MADE MY CAR LAUNCH FORWARD THEN BACKWARDS SUDDENLY. CAR WAS REPAIRED. CONDITION SLIGHTLY IMPROVED BUT I COULD STILL FEEL A CONSTANT HESITATION UPON ACCELERATION. I BECAME USED TO HAVING TO MASH MY FOOT ONTO THE GAS TO GET THE CAR TO ACCELERATE NORMALLY, THEN TAKING MY FOOT OFF AS IT VIOLENTLY JUMPED INTO EACH GEAR. AFTER A FEW WEEKS, THE PROBLEM BEGAN TO OCCUR UPON DECELERATION TOO, LUNGING FORWARD SUDDENLY AFTER I HAD COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. I THEN BEGAN EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF ACCELERATION WHILE SITTING AT RED LIGHTS, OR IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION, WHILE MERGING ONTO A ON HIGHWAY, OR GOING AROUND CORNER. THIS ANNOYING CONDITION QUICKLY BECAME A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE WHEN WAS ALMOST HIT ON TWO OCCASIONS BECAUSE OF A FAILURE TO ACCELERATE. CLUTCH WAS THEN REPLACED AGAIN. IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIVING MY 'FIXED' VEHICLE FOR THE SECOND TIME, THE SPUTTERING CONTINUED. THIS TIME IT WAS WORSE. THE VEHICLES RPMS SEEMED TO BE OUT OF SYNC WITH THE GEAR SHIFTS. THE CAR WAS CONSTANTLY REVVING UP AND DOWN WHEN I WAS AT A CONSISTENT SPEED. WHEN I ACCELERATED THE VEHICLE JERKED, SKIPPED, AND SEEMED TO LOSE POWER BEFORE SUDDENLY KICKING INTO DRIVE. WHEN I CAME TO A STOP MY VEHICLE ALWAYS JERKED FORWARD BEFORE COMPLETELY STOPPING. THERE WERE SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHERE I NEARLY REAR ENDED THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME BECAUSE IT SUDDENLY LUNGED FORWARD AFTER I BRAKED. JUST RECEIVED MY CAR BACK AFTER THE THIRD FIXING AND I AM STILL EXPERIENCING THE SAME SHAKING, GRINDING, JOLTING, AND JUMPING. I HAVE NEVER FELT MORE UNSAFE IN A VEHICLE.
I HAVE REPORTED TO MY DEALERSHIP AND FORD MOTOR COMPANY THAT I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY 2014 FORD FOCUS IT HAS BAD HESITATION, AND JERKS AND SHUDDERS AND EVEN ROLLS BACKWARDS ON A VERY SMALL INCLINE AT A STOP LIGHT. WHEN YOU TRY TO PASS A VEHICLE IT WILL START CUTTING OUT WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I AM AFRAID THAT IT WILL GET ME AND MY FAMILY HURT AND I BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW LESS THEN A YEAR AGO FOR OVER $20,000.00 AND NOW MY DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THEY WOULD ONLY GIVE $14,000.00 FOR IT AND THEY SOLD IT TO ME KNOWING THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE. IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP ALREADY 5 OR 6 TIMES NOW THEY TELL ME THAT THEY HAVE ORDERED ANOTHER CLUTCH PACK THIS WILL MAKE THE SECOND ONE THEY PUT IN IT SINCE I BOUGHT LESS THEN A YEAR AGO BUT IT IS BACK ORDERED FOR 2 MONTHS. THEIR MECHANIC ALREADY TOLD ME THAT THIS IS ANOTHER TEMPORARY FIX. PLEASE HELP
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION HESITATES, LURCHES, AND STALLS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET AT SLOWER SPEEDS.
THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR DOOR WILL NOT CLOSE. I OPENED THE DOOR YESTERDAY AND WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO CLOSE THE DOOR IT WILL NOT LATCH. THE FORD DEALERSHIP SAID THIS WILL COST APPROX. $450 TO FIX.
FORD FOCUS 2014 TITANIUM. FAULTY TRANSMISSION REPLACED AFTER 15,000 MILES. NOW I'M APPROACHING 29,000 MILES, THE POWER TRAIN IS JERKING AGAIN AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AGAIN. THE POWER TRAIN JERKS WHILE IN FORWARD AND REVERSE.
2014 FORD FOCUS WITH 45K MILES, COMPLETELY STOCK. FUEL TANK COLLAPSED DUE TO EVAP SOLENOID FAILURE. THIS CAUSED THE FUEL GAUGE TO READ INACCURATELY AND THE VEHICLE RAN OUT OF FUEL WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AT 75MPH WITH NO WARNINGS. NO CHECK GAUGES LIGHT, NO SEL LIGHT, NO CODES, NOTHING BUT COMPLETE AUTOMOTIVE FAILURE. FORD REFUSES TO FIX THIS KNOWN FAILURE UNDER WARRANTY CLAIMING IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY (NOT SURE HOW EMISSIONS EQUIPMENT AND FUEL ISN'T POWERTRAIN COMPONENTS.......). FORD WANTED $900 TO FIX JUST THE FUEL TANK, PLUS ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR THE EVAP CANISTER, EVAP SOLENOID, AND FUEL SENDING UNIT. I WILL HAVE TO FIX THIS MY SELF EVEN THOUGH I STILL HAVE 15K MILES LEFT UNDER MY POWERTRAIN WARRANTY AND THIS IS KNOWN FAILURE FROM FORD (THEY HAVE TSB'S FOR THEIR TECHS TO FOLLOW FOR THIS VERY SPECIFIC REASON!!!!!!). UNACCEPTABLE

WE HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE IN SEVERAL TIMES FOR SHUDDERING, HESITATION AND OTHER ISSUES INVOLVING THE TRANSMISSION. WE HAVE HAD THE SENSORS ADJUSTED, THE SOFTWARE UPDATED, AND THE DEALER HAD HAD A CLUTCH PART ON ORDER FOR 4 MONTHS AT THIS POINT. WE FIRST TOOK CAR IN DURING FEBRUARY FOR THIS ISSUE. IT IS NOW JUNE. THEY TOLD US THEY WILL NEED TO REPLACE SOME CLUTCH ASSEMBLY PART, WHICH IS TAKING A LONG TIME FOR PARTS TO BE OBTAINED. DEALERSHIP CAN NOT GIVE US A TIME WHEN THIS WILL BE RECEIVED TO PERFORM REPAIR. CONCERNED ABOUT THE DRIVING SAFETY FOR MY DAUGHTER. CAR JUMPS AND HESITATES IN LOWER GEARS. SAME COMPLAINTS MANY HAVE ALREADY MADE ABOUT THIS VEHICLE. .
