The contact stated that after starting the vehicle and attempting to accelerate from a stationary position, the vehicle hesitated, rumbled, and the transmission was slipping. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who determined that the transmission clutch was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 40,000.
CAR WILL LURCH AND SHUTTER FROM TAKEOFF PROCEEDING THROUGHOUT 1ST TO 2ND GEAR AND FROM 2ND INTO 3RD, ALSO WHILE ACCELERATING AFTER SLOWDOWN WHILE EITHER IN TRAFFIC OR WHILE ACCELERATING OUT OF CORNERS. WHEN SHIFTING INTO REVERSE FROM A COMPLETE STOP THE CAR WILL SOMETIMES NOT ENGAGE REVERSE AND SEEM TO CATCH NEUTRAL AND JUST REV AND ROLL BACKWARD OR FORWARD DEPENDING ON INCLINE. THE CAR WILL SOMETIMES CATCH REVERSE AFTER A FEW SECONDS OF REVVING, OTHER TIMES I HAVE TO SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL AND BACK INTO REVERSE FOR IT TO ENGAGE THE GEAR
I financed this car with Wii Auto in Arizona , I have had work done multiple times trying to fix the problem and nothing Wii auto mechanic or Ford dealership can figure out the problem. Every time I get my car out the shop and spending all this money “to fix the problem” my car does the same thing. My car will shut off while I’m driving because it thinks it’s over heating. I’ve had my battery replaced, fuel pumps/modules replaced, coolant tank replaced, everything they can thing of. I haven’t drove my car in months and I’m still making payments because when I try and talk to the dealership they basically say oh well, the car in my eyes was sold to me as a lemon my car has been in the shop more times than I can think. I have all the paperwork and I feel so helpless because every time I try and talk to Wii Auto they just brush me off like it’s not a major problem. I almost lost my life in this car because it shut off while I was driving in the freeway. I’ve even gotten loaner cars from this dealership when they were “working on my car” and they’ve done the same things like shut off on me or even almost cost me my life because the back tires were literally coming off the car. I’m in need of help. I’m tired of making payments on a car I haven’t even got to drive. I had to literally go and financed a whole Different car from a different dealership because Wii Auto won’t help.
THE TRANSMISSION ON MY CAR HAS BEEN OCCASIONALLY STUTTERING AND OVERHEATING AT LOW SPEEDS AND HIGH SPEEDS. FORD HAS AN EXTENDED /TSB FOR THE TRANSMISSION REGARDING THE VERY SAME PROBLEM. HOWEVER THEY REFUSE TO SERVICE MY CAR EVEN THOUGH IT FALL WITHIN THE MILEAGE AND YEAR. REASON IS BECAUSE THE CAR WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT LAST YEAR WHICH HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DRIVETRAIN AND THEY HAVE CANCELLED ALL WARRANTIES REGARDING THE CAR.
FLAT TIRE WHILE PARKED. VEHICLE STRANDED IN DRIVEWAY. LUG WRENCH THAT CAME WITH THE VEHICLE DOES NOT FIT LUG NUTS. UNABLE TO REMOVE WHEEL TO INSTALL SPARE. TRIED USING SOCKET WRENCH. COULD NOT FIND A SOCKET THAT FIT. TRIED THE FOLLOWING SOCKETS: 3/4", 13/16', 19MM, 21MM. THE LUG NUT SIZE IS SOMETHING IN BETWEEN THESE. THE LUG WRENCH THAT CAME WITH THE VEHICLE IS 3/14' AND FITS THE WHEEL LOCK ADAPTER THAT CAME WITH THE VEHICLE.
FROM A STOP,VEHICLE SEEMS TO SHUDDER AS IT SHIFTS FROM 1 TO 2, AND 2 TO 3
THE CAR HAS A HARD TIME ACCELERATING AND ALMOST ALMOST DOESNT SOMETIMES. THE ENGINE WAS SILENT BUT NOW THE ENGINE SEEMS KIND OF LOUD WHEN STARTING UP. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION ON THE STREET.
WIPERS DON'T SHUT OFF WHEN CARED IS OFF AND DON'T TURN ON SOME TIMES WHEN I DRIVE AND IT RAINING HARD OR SNOWING
PARKED THE CAR, TURNED MOTOR OFF, SMELLED SMOKE, RELEASE INSIDE HOOD, MORE SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER HOOD, COULD NOT OPEN HOOD UP,FLAMES STARTED SHOOTING OUT, CALLED 911 WHO CALLED FIRE DEPARTMENT, SEVERAL SMALL EXPLOSIONS BEFORE FIRE DEPARTMENT, WHOLE FRONT CAR ENGULFED IN FLAMES. VEHICLE JUST TURNED 21000 MILES, H.AD NOT BEEN DRIVEN FOR A CAR SINCE I HAD 2 SURGERIES FOR FRACTURED FEET AND JUST STARTED DRIVING SEVERAL WEEKS AGO. DID DAMAGE TO MY SONS MOTOR HOME AND DRIVEWAY. VEHICLE HAD BEEN GARAGE KEPT SINCE NEW AND NO MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON VEHICLE OTHER THAN 1 RECALL WHICH DEALER TOOK CARE OF IT IN 2/2020. LUCKLY NO ONE HURT. VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND JUST SHUT OFF WHEN INCIDENT OCCURRED. CAN GET PHOTOS FROM MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AS I DIDN'T TAKE ANY AT THE TIME. VEHICLE HAS BEEN DECLARED A TOTAL LOSS.*DT*JB
WHILE DRIVING MY CAR OR EVEN ALLOWING MY CAR TO IDLE IT STARTS SHAKING AND WILL SHUT OFF. ONCE IT IS OFF IT IS VERY HARD TO GET AND KEEP IT STARTED. ONCE I DO GET IT STARTED I HAVE TO REV THE ENGINE BETWEEN 3K AND 4K RPM JUST TO GET IT TO STOP DOING THIS. I FIRST THOUGHT IT WAS ONLY WHEN PUTTING FUEL IN OR IDLING BUT IT IS HAPPENING ALL THE TIME. I USED INJECTOR CLEANER AND OCTANE BOOSTER TO TRY TO HELP BUT IT IS NOT WORKING. IT IS THROWING A FUEL ISSUE WHEN PUT ON THE DIAGNOSTIC. IT HAPPENS TO THE POINT WHERE I CANNOT SAFELY DRIVE MY CAR. THE DEALERSHIP STATED IT IS PROBABLY THE CANISTER PURGE VALVE BUT MY VIN IS NOT LISTED ALTHOUGH IF FALLS WITHIN THE YEAR OF THE RECALL.
HELLO, MY NAME IS [XXX]. I AM EMAILING YOU BECAUSE I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM/CONCERN. MY CAR HAD A RECALL ON SOMETHING IN THE TRANSMISSION. SO IN APRIL OF 2019 I TOOK MY CAR TO THE SHOP AT CARMEN FORD IN NEWCASTLE, DE WHERE I PURCHASED MY CAR FROM. WHEN I TOOK IT THERE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FOR THE RECALL HAD CAME ON AND IT WAS JERKING. THEY CLAIM THEY FIXED IT. WELL IN THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER 2019 MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WITH THE SAME CODE AND WAS JERKING AGAIN. I TOOK IT BACK TO CARMEN FORD. THEY HAD MY CAR THREE WEEKS AND THEY SAID ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS RESET TWO THINGS THAT WEREN'T MATCHING UP. THE SAME DAY I PICKED IT UP I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK BECAUSE IT WAS STILL JERKING. THEY HAD MY CAR TWO IN A HALF MORE WEEKS THAN CALLED ME AND SAID THAT 4 TECHS DROVE MY CAR AND THEY HAD NO PROBLEM AND IT WASN'T JERKING. SO I WENT UP THERE AGAIN ON JANUARY 13,2020 AND DID A RIDE TEST WITH BILL WHO AT THIS TIME HAD NOTICED THE JERKING MY CAR WAS DOING THAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. WE TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK TO CARMEN FORD WHERE HE SAID HE WILL LET THE TECHS NO IT'S JERKING NOW. TWO DAYS LATER HE CALLED ME AND SAID THE TECH DID A SHUTTER TEST AND IT'S NORMAL. HE SAID THAT SOMETIMES FORD CARS DO THE JERKING AND THAT IT IS NORMAL. I EXPLAINED TO THEM IT HAS ONLY DONE IT THESE TWO TIMES THAT MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WITH THIS RECALL THING. HE SAID THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO DO AND MY CAR WAS READY FOR PICK UP. I PICKED UP MY CAR ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 15,2020. WHEN I PICKED IT UP IT WAS MAKING A LOUDER NOISE THAN HAD BEEN, STILL JERKING VERY BAD AND NOW WILL NOT REVERSE. I CALLED THE SERVICE SHOP AT CARMEN FORD SATURDAY MORNING JANUARY 16,2020@ 10:30AM AND THEY BASICALLY BLEW ME OFF. THIS IS MY ONLY VEHICLE AND I HAVE TWO YOUNG CHILDREN THAN I HAVE TO DRIVE WITH IN THAT CAR AND I DON'T FEEL IT IS SAFE AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO FIX ANYTHING BUT KEEP TELLING ME IT'S FINE. DRIVING ENGINE WILL STALL AND ENGINE WON'T START IF YOU GET GAS. PURGE VALVE IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY AND THERE ISN'T A RECALL CURRENTLY ON THIS CAR BUT ON OTHERS 2012-2018 FOCUSES.
THE CAR FEELS LIKE LOTS LACKING FUEL AND IT STARTS TO DIE.
WHILE DRIVING MY CAR THE CENTER DISPLAY WHICH HAS MY ODOMETER AND DIGITAL SPEED AS WELL AS ANY WARNINGS FOR MY CAR SHOWED LINES ACROSS IT AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO READ. IN RESEARCHING IT I FOUND THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE WITH THESE CARS AND IT WILL EVENTUALLY GO COMPLETELY BLACK AND NOT WORK AT ALL.
I WAS SOLD A 2015 FORD FOCUS SE SEDAN FROM A FORD DEALERSHIP. I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE ON GOING LAWSUIT. TELL THE YEAR AFTER WHEN THE TRANSMISSION STARTED TO ACT UP. NOW AS OF 11/14/20 THE STEERING ASSIT WHICH IS ELECTRIC STOP WORKING IN MID DRIVE. AND IT HARD TO STEER THE CAR. AFTER CHECKING THE WEB ABOUT THIS I FOUND OUT THERE WAS A MASSIVE RECALL ON THE FOCUS'S FOR THE STEERING ASSIT. THE DEALER SERVICE GUY IS TELLING ME THERE WAS NO RECALL. I FOUND ON LINE TONIGHT THAT THE STATUE OF LIMITATIONS STATES THAT THE RECALL STAYS OPEN FOR EIGHT YEARS. IT'S ONLY BEEN 5 YRS. SINCE THE CALL WAS BUILT. THE SERVICE GUYS WANT 2,200.00 THE REPLACE THE STEERING ASSIT. I DON'T GET THAT MUCH ON DISABILITY. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.

THE CONTACT PULLED INTO A NEARBY PARKING LOT. THE CONTACT WATCHED A VIDEO OF HOW TO REPAIR OR ADDRESS THE ISSUE AND NOTICED THAT THERE WAS NO FRACTURE IN THE FUSE. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE FUSE AND THE VEHICLE DISPLAYED THE STEERING LOSS DRIVE SAFELY MESSAGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO STEER THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT HAD TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC AND REPLACED THE FUSE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000 (STEERING). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,082.*DT THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALERSHIP INFORMED HIM THE BOLTS HOLDING THE STEERING WHEEL ON BROKE AND FRIENDS PAID $2,600 TO HAVE THE VEHICLE FIXED. *TR
STARTED CAR IN PARKING LOT, ENTERED ROADWAY, TRIED TO ACCELERATE AND CAR WOULD NOT GO. PULLED OVER TURNED CAR OFF AND RESTARTED. CAR WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT HOME HOWEVER NEXT TIME CAR WAS STARTED CAR AGAIN WOULD NOT ACCELERATE ON ROAD. WHOLE CAR BEGAN TO SHAKE. CHECK ENGINE AND BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON. CAR WAS TOWED TO DEALERSHIP UNSAFE FOR DRIVING. TOLD IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP THAT WAS BAD. ONLY HAVE 33,552 MILES ON CAR. COST $700 TO FIX. AFTER IT WAS FIXED CAR NO LONGER STUTTERED (WHICH IT'S DONE THE WHOLE 5 YEARS I HAVE OWNED IT) AND THE MILEAGE TO EMPTY READ 418. NOT ONCE HAS IT EVERY READ 400 OR OVER BEFORE. DEALERSHIP COULD GIVE NO EXPLANATION WHY FUEL PUMP WENT BAD.

THE CONTACT STATED WHILE HER DAUGHTER WAS AT A STAND STILL FOR A TRAFFIC LIGHT, WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE REAR ENDED HER, WHICH FORCED HER TO AND COLLIDE INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HER. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE DRIVER HIT HER HEAD ON THE STEERING WHEEL AND HAD A MILD CONCUSSION. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THE FRONT PASSENGER SUSTAINED A FRACTURED NOSE WHEN SHE HIT THE DASHBOARD. THE DRIVER SEEKED MEDICAL ATTENTION THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE CONTACT WAS NOT FULLING AWARE IF THE FRONT PASSENGER SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION FOR HER INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO INSURANCE COMPANY LOT. THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER DEEMED THE VEHICLE WAS LOSS. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 94,000. *LN
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled with the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to operate as designed with the fuel tank half empty. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and diagnosed with a defective canister purge valve and provided an estimate. The contact was also informed that her vehicle had been serviced under NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V735000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and that she no longer qualified for a free repair under the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The contact was then referred to the NHTSA for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
AFTER DRIVING HOME FROM VISITING EXTENDED FAMILY, MY STEERING WHEEL BECAME INCREASINGLY STICKY, CAUSING IT TO BE SLIGHTLY JERKY WHILST ATTEMPTING TO MAINTAIN A STRAIGHT PATH. MY VEHICLE WAS STILL IN MOTION WHEN I INITIALLY DISCOVERED THE DIFFICULTY. NO INDICATION LIGHTS CAME ON. AS THE WEEKS PASSED BY, IT WOULD GO IN AND OUT OF BEING STICKY AND THEN BACK TO NORMAL STEERING WHILE DRIVING. ONE NIGHT ON MY RETURN TRIP HOME FROM WORK, TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT. AN INFORMATION LIGHT CAME ON EXPLAINING THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH STEERING AND TO HAVE IT SERVICED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THIS APPEARED WHILE THE CAR WAS IN MOTION. WHEN MY GRANDFATHER WENT TO GO CHECK IT OUT AND DRIVE IT AROUND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG, THE STEERING WHEEL COMPLETELY LOCKED UP AND A WARNING NOTIFICATION APPEARED SAYING THE POWER STEERING WAS LOST, SERVICE IMMEDIATELY. THE CAR WAS PARKED AT HOME, THANKFULLY. BUT I HAD TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED FROM MY HOME AND AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON FINANCING A $2900 REPAIR TO REPLACE MY ENTIRE STEERING RACK/GEAR.

The contact also stated that water was leaking from the bottom of the vehicle. The contact had the vehicle serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 18V169000 (Power Train) prior to the failure. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with nothing needing to be replaced. The dealer updated the engine module to keep up with the rpm's however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000.
ON OCT. 11, 2020, WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE CAR LOST POWER AND STALLED MULTIPLE TIMES. TOWED TO DEALERSHIP AND DIAGNOSED AS FAULTY LOW PRESSURE FUEL PUMP. SIX WEEKS EARLIER THE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR WAS REPLACED, TOO.

THE MANUFACTURER HAD YET TO BE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V735000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) WHICH SHE LINKED TO THE FAILURE. I WAS DRIVING MY FORD FOCUS 2015 AND THE STEERING WHEEL GOT STIFF AND THE CAR TURNED OFF AND I GOT OUT EATE MESSAGE STEERING LOSS

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,417.
STEERING SEIZED UP AT 70K MILES. ELEC. RACK & PINION NEEDS REPLACING $2800! THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN AT 70K MILES - EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND EXPENSIVE TO FIX ON A 5 YR OLD CAR. TRANSMISSION STUTTERS - WAS RECALLED, "FIXED" AND STILL HESITATES OCCASIONALLY. NEVER TAKE AN INTERSECTION FOR GRANTED BECAUSE CAR MIGHT STUTTER - EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SOMETIMES. I GOT THE CLUTCH FIXED UNDER WARRANTY A FEW WEEKS AGO NOW THE CAR HAS THE SAME PROBLEM WHICH KEEPS HAPPENING IT HAPPENED BEFORE I KEEP TAKING IT IN TOO GET FIXED AND THE PROBLEM KEEPS GETTING WORSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS NOW. IT'S A BIG PROBLEM TOO HAVE FOR A NEW CAR ONLY FIVE YEARS OLD. IT STALLED OUT ON ME THE ENGINE LOSES POWER IT TURNED OFF ON ME I'M THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION WHICH IS DANGEROUS. IT DOESN'T SHIFT PROPERLY WHAT SO EVER AND I SUPPOSEDLY GOT THE PROBLEM FIXED. IT'S BECOMING A REAL BOTHER TOO DRIVE. I MAINTAIN THE CAR PERFECT TOO HAVE ALL THESE PROBLEMS. RECEIVED ERROR MESSAGE AND THEN STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. CAN'T GET IT UNLOCKED HAD CAR TOWED TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID STEERING SYSTEM FAILED AND IT'S NOT ON RECALL OR COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THEY WANT $2000 TO FIX IT.

MULTIPLE FORD DEALERSHIPS ARE REFUSING TO COMPLETE RECALL WORK (RECALL 18S32) ON MY 2015 FORD FOCUS SE. I HAVE THE PAPER THEY SENT ME DETAILING THE PROBLEMS, AND I AM CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING THESE ISSUES WHILE DRIVING, HOWEVER FORD SAYS THAT SINCE THEY "LOOKED AT" THE RECALLED PART ABOUT 6-8 WEEKS AGO, THEY CAN NO LONGER COMPLETE THE RECALL WORK AND THAT I WOULD BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR FIXING THIS ISSUE.

MY 19 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING HER 2015 FORD FOCUS HOME FROM COLLEGE AND HER POWER STEERING SHUT OFF. THE WHEEL BECAME VERY HARD TO DRIVE AND ERROR CAME ON THAT SAID 'POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT'. I HAVE READ THAT MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. WAS DRIVING ~75 MPH, GOT OFF HIGHWAY TO GET GAS (NO SIGNS OF ANY STEERING PROBLEMS). TURNED CAR BACK ON WARNING CAME ON, TURNED CAR BACK OFF AND ON AGAIN, WARNING STILL THERE. MOVE CAR TO PARKING SPOT FROM PUMP, NO POWER STEERING. HEARD THERE WAS A RECALL FOR POWER STEERING FOR SOME FORD FOCUSES BUT NOT FOR MY VIN.
DRIVER STATEMENT = ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK AT APPROXIMATELY 03:00(AM) I WAS DRIVING THE GOV TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON 72ND AVENUE PAST THE INTERSECTION OF PIERCE STREET. I NOTICED THE CABIN OF THE CAR STARTING TO FILL WITH SMOKE, THEN I NOTICED A SMALL FLAME UNDER THE HOOD OF THE CAR. SO THEN I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER GOT OUT OF THE CAR AND CALLED 911. WHEN THE ARVADA POLICE ARRIVED ON THE SCENE, THEY HAD A SMALL FIRE EXTINGUISHER WHICH THEY TRIED TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. SHORTLY AFTER THAT THE ARVADA FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED AND PUT THE FIRE OUT. NO ONE WAS INJURED AND THERE WAS NOT ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE OTHER THAN THE GOV.*DT *JS

THE CPV IS STUCK OPEN . DAMAGE TO THE FUEL PUMP AND GAS TANK. YEARS MODELS FROM 2012 -2018 WITH SAME PROBLEM ARE ON THE RECALL, BUT MY VEHICLE IS NOT FOR SOME REASON. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET SOMEONE TO EXPLAIN THIS TO ME. THE PROBLEM CAUSES THE CAR TO SHACK AND STALL OUT.

I WAS DRIVING TO WORK ON THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH AND THE TACHOMETER GAUGE STARTED BOUNCING AND THE THE ENGINE SHUT OFF. RIGHT BEFORE THE ENGINE SHUTOFF IT ACTED LIKE THE FUEL WAS VAPOR LOCKED AND THE ENGINE WAS NOT RECEIVING AN ADEQUATE AMOUNT OF FUEL. THE FUEL GAUGE SHOWED 1/2 TANK OF GASOLINE. MY CAR WAS FIXED LAST FALL BECAUSE OF A FUEL TANK RECALL. THE DEALERSHIP INSTALLED A CANISTER PURGE VALVE AND FLASHED THE TCM. BEFORE THE DEALERSHIP INSTALLED THE CANISTER PURGE VALVE AND FLASHED THE TCM I EXPERIENCED THE SAME PRIOR TO THE DEALERSHIP FIXING THE DECAL. NOW WHENEVER MY VEHICLE GETS AT OR BELOW A HALF OF A TANK ON MY FUEL GAUGE IT ACTS LIKE IT'S STARVING FOR FUEL AND IS GOING TO DIE OUT.
