After getting the Ford Airbag recall work fixed on my teenage son's vehicle, the airbag dashboard light came on (a few weeks later). Upon taking it to the dealer, they told me the car needed a new battery. I agreed to have it replaced, despite NOT having any previous battery issues. After the battery was replaced, the airbag light was still coming on. After a diagnostic, it was discovered the passenger side sensor needs repaired (over $1,000 cost to complete this work). This is absolutely ridiculous, had NO PROBLEMS until Ford replaced my airbags. I was further told not replacing this sensor means NO AIRBAGS will deploy if in an accident. Now the SAFETY of my son is in YOUR HANDS FORD!!! If nothing is wrong with the airbags themselves, just a faulty passenger sensor....the driver airbag should still work!! THIS IS UNBELIEVALBE!! All this after waiting for over THREE HOURS at the dealer!!!
