WHEN IN MOTION, THE BRAKES HAVE TO DEPRESSED FURTHER TO THE FLOOR THAN WHEN NEW. THE MASTER CYLINDER WAS CHANGED OUT UNDER WARRANTY BUT THE PROBLEM WAS STILL THERE.
YAKATA RECALL - DEALERS CANNOT GET REPLACEMENT PARTS
TAKATA RECALL. ROOF RUSTING OUT WITH HOLES. FORD SAYS IT'S NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.
I HAVE HAD MY VEHICLE SINCE APRIL 2007. SINCE THAT TIME MY CHECK BRAKES AND BRAKE FLUID LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON WHILE DRIVING. I PULL OVER AND POP THE HOOD TO CHECK MY BRAKE FLUID LEVELS AND IT IS OKAY. I MENTIONED THIS TWICE TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENTS WHEN BRINGING MY VEHICLE IN FOR ROUTINE OIL CHANGES AND THEY HAVE NOT FOUND ANYTHING WRONG OR A REASON FOR THIS LIGHT TO KEEP COMING ON IN THE DASH GAUGES. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM AND IF SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION. COULD THIS BE A RELAY OR SWITCH THAT IS FAULTY. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO NOT HAVE THIS LIGHT COMING ON 10-20 TIMES A DAY WHILE DRIVING BECAUSE IT IS ANNOYING TO HAVE TO KEEP PUSHING THE RESET BUTTON ON MY DASH. THE RED BRAKE SYMBOL DOES HOWEVER STAY LIT ONCE I PRESS THE RESET BUTTON. *TR

THIS VEHICLE IS NOT USABLE UNDER THESE CONDITIONS AND CANNOT BE SOLD UNDER THIS PENDING RECALL. PLEASE HELP! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?
CAR WAS A 2007 FORD FUSION WITH MERLOT PAINT. CAR WAS ONE WEEK IN MY POSSESSION, AND I HAD A HAZING OF THE CLEAR COAT AND SOLVENT POPPED OF THE CAR. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A REFINISH JOB. ALSO ,THE CAR HAD 1700 MILES ON IT AND WAS CONSUMING OIL. DEALER WATCHED OIL CONSUMPTION, BUT HAS YET TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM ON THE ENGINE.*AK
CAR IS NEW AND THREE MONTHS OLD."METALLIC SCRAPING SOUNDS WERE HEARD. TAKEN TO DEALER, AND DEALER'S MECHANIC FOUND THE CON STANT VELOCITY JOINT TO BE RUSTED AND FAULTY. MECHANIC SHOCKED THAT THIS HAPPENED ON A NEW VEHICLE. PART SPECIAL ORDERED AS IT'S NOT NORMALLY NEEDED. VEHICLE CURRENTLY WITH DEALER FOR PART REPLACEMENT.*AK
WHILE I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE THE STEERING WHEEL OF THE CAR STARTED TO SHAKE FROM SIDE TO SIDE AND WHEN I WENT TO SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE TO PULL OVER TO SEE WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM, THE SHAKING OF THE STEERING WHEEL INCREASED AND I LOST CONTROL CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO GO INTO THE DITCH. THE DEALER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND REPLACED A TIRE VALVE. IT HAD AN AIR LEAKAGE BUT NOT THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE FAILURE. *JB
TAKAHE RECALL - NO REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ONE OF THE RECALLED AIR BAGS, AND IT SAYS THAT THE PERSON COULD BE HURT OR KILLED WITH THE METAL PARTS THAT COULD COME FROM IT WHEN IT IS ENERGIZED..I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYONE IN MY VEHICLE GET HURT OR KILLED FROM THIS PROBLEM, JUST LIKE I'M SURE FORD EXECS OR THE NHTSA PEOLPLE WOULD WANT TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE EITHER.
THE STEERING WHEEL OF THE FORD FUSION SE PUTS EXCESSIVE PRESSURE ON THE CARPEL TUNNELS OF THE HANDS, WHEN IT IS HELD NATURALLY, WHICH LEADS TO NUMBNESS AND TINGLING IN THE FINGERS. THE STEERING WHEEL IS HARD AND SHAPED MORE LIKE A WAGON WHEEL THAN A STEERING WHEEL. I HAVE TRIED STEERING WHEEL COVERS, BUT THEY ONLY HELP A LITTLE. THE SHAPE OF THE WHEEL IS STILL A PROBLEM EVEN WITH A PADDED STEERING WHEEL COVER. *TR
THE HEADLIGHTS ARE EXCESSIVELY DIRECTIONAL AND FAIL TO LIGHT THE ROAD ON LOW BEAM. WHEN DRIVING ON A ROAD WITH HILLS AND CURVES, THE HEADLIGHTS DO NOT LIGHT THE VALLEYS WHEN AT THE TOP OF THE HILLS AND DO NOT LIGHT THE ROAD SUFFICIENTLY AROUND CORNERS. IF THE DRIVER SELECTS HIGH BEAM, THE DRIVERS OF ONCOMING VEHICLES ARE BLINDED, EVEN IF DRIVING ON A FREEWAY WITH A WIDE MEDIAN WHEN THE HEADLIGHTS ARE POINTED ACROSS THE MEDIAN WHILE DRIVING AROUND A CURVE. THE ONLY WAY TO SEE POTHOLES DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE CAR AT NIGHT IS BY TURNING ON THE FOG LIGHTS SINCE THE FRONT BUMPER CAUSES A SHADOW IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE, AND THE STYLING OF THE HEADLIGHTS PREVENTS LIGHT FROM GETTING TO THE SIDES OF THE VEHICLE. THIS IS A CONTINUOUS PROBLEM, NOT A ONE DAY EVENT. *TR
CUSTOMER FEELS THAT THE SEAT BELTS AND THE SIDE AIR BAGS ARE A HAZARD AND ARE NOT SAFE IN A ROLLOVER**CC THE CONSUMER STATED THE SEAT BELTS ARE NOT SAFE IN A ROLLOVER DUE TO THE INCORRECT ASSUMPTION THAT THE ROOF WILL REMAIN INTACT. THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THE AIR BAGS ARE NOT HELPFUL BECAUSE OCCUPANTS MAY HAVE THEIR HEADS THROWN AGAINST THE SIDE WINDOWS BY A PREVIOUS MANEUVER OR IMPACT, BEFORE A SIDE IMPACT, ONLY TO HAVE THEIR NECKS BROKEN BY AN INFLATING AIR BAG. THE HEAD RESTRAINTS HAVE SUPPORTS THAT ARE TOO WEAK TO PREVENT INJURY IN A SEVERE REAR IMPACT. *JB THE CONSUMER WANTED TO SHARE HIS CONTINUED CONCERN WITH THE SAFETY OF AUTOMOBILES. 2007 FORD FUSION SEAT BELTS AND SIDE AIRBAG. *KB THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THAT THE COMPLAINT SUBMITTED BY ANOTHER CONSUMER REGARDING THE SEAT BELTS AND AIR BAGS NOT BEING SAFE WAS ENTIRELY UNFOUNDED AND LACKED ANY SUPPORT. THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE COMPLAINT SHOULD BE REMOVED. *JB
2007 FORD FUSION WITH DEFECTIVE REAR BUMPER. CONSUMER STATES THAT THE REINFORCEMENT BAR IS TWICE THE SIZE AND STRENGTH OF THE AVERAGE BAR AND TRANSFERS ANY IMPACT TO THE VEHICLE AND THE OCCUPANTS. *KB THE IMPACT WAS TO THE REAR BUMPER ONLY, BUT DAMAGED THE REAR BODY TRIM PANEL AND BROKE THE SEAM SEALS UNDER THE BACK GLASS AND BUCKLED THE QUARTER PANEL. *JB
