I TURNED THE CAR ON AND IN THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE DASH IT READ SERVICE POWER STEERING THEN THE LIGHT WENT OFF. DIDN'T COME ON AGAIN FOR 24 HOURS THEN THIS MORNING AND 3/25/2020 I WAS HEADED TO THE DR AND WHEN I STARTED THE CAR THE STEERING WHEEL WAS TIGHT AND THE MESSAGE APPEARED AGAIN SO I CUT IT OFF AND WHEN I STARTED IT AGAIN IT DISAPPEARED AND HAS BEEN FINE FOR NOW. I NOTICED THERE WERE RECALLS FOR THIS ISSUE AND WHEN I CHECKED MY VIN IT SAID 0 RECALLS I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR ON 11/06/2019. PLEASE HELP
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE REFUELING THE VEHICLE, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL FUEL ODOR OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A FUEL LEAK UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RC LACY INC. (25 MAPLE AVENUE CATSKILL, NY 12414, (888)733-2720, TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PURGE VALVE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V793000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) AS A SOLUTION TO THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT BACK TO THE SAME DEALER FOR A SECOND DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHICH WAS STILL PENDING. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.
DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE IN MY 2011 FORD FUSION SE 2.5L AND A MESSAGE CAME ON THE DASH SAYING SERVICE POWER STEERING. THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME HARD TO TURN. I WENT TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THAT 2011 FORD FUSION STEERING RACK WAS RECALLED BUT WHEN THEY PUT THE VIN INTO THEIR SYSTEM THEY SAID THAT MINE WASN'T COVERED UNDER THE RECALL. IT'S A $1500+ REPAIR. BUT WHY WASN'T ALL 2011 FORD FUSION COVERED UNDER THAT RECALL. THE RECALL NUMBER IS 15S18. AND IT DOES EVERYTHING THAT THIS RECALL LISTS....
WHENEVER I TRY TO MAKE A LEFT OR RIGHT TURN MY DASHBOARD LIGHTS UP READING 'POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT' AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP AND I CAN NOT TURN OR DO ANYTHING UNLESS I TURN OFF MY CAR AND TURN IT BACK ON. SOMETIMES I WOULD HAVE TO CONSTANTLY DO THIS TILL I CAN DRIVE. I ALWAYS NOTICE WHENEVER I HAVE MY AC ON IT MAKES MY POWER STEERING ASSIST ACT UP. *TR
EVERY TIME I TRY TO PARK OR GET OUT A PARKING AREA MY POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT, BRIGHTS UP MY DASHBOARD AND I CAN'T MOVE OR CONTROL MY CAR WITHOUT TURNING MY VEHICLE COMPLETELY OFF. EVEN SHARP TURNS OR QUICK U TURNS MY WHEEL LOCKS UP. WHENEVER I'M IN MOTION WHETHER IT BE SLOW OR ACCELERATING IT LOCKS UP NO MATTER WHAT AND THE ONLY SOLUTION IS FOR ME TO TURN MY CAR OFF AND ON AND EVEN THEN IT WON'T ALWAYS WORK.
The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the steering wheel seized. The air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was restarted, and the steering wheel unlocked. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic however, the failure was not able to be duplicated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 150,000.
TWO WEEKS AGO I NOTICED AFTER STARTING THE CAR I DIDN'T HAVE ANY POWER STEERING FOR FEW SECONDS, THEN IT WORKED FINE. A WEEK AGO WHEN I WENT TO START IT , I HAD NO POWER STEERING AND THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT LIT UP ON THE DASH. I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTED, AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE, NO FAULT LIGHT AND STEERING WORKED FINE. IT DID THIS COUPLE MORE DAYS UNTIL MARCH 13, 2020, NO POWER STEERING AT ALL, NOT EVEN AFTER RESTARTING. I'M VERY LUCKY THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN WHEN DRIVING. I'M SURE THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN AN ACCIDENT. I TOOK IT TO REINEKE FORD IN FINDLAY, OH, AND THEY SAID IT NEEDS A WHOLE NEW STEERING RACK, AND MY CAR IS NOT COVERED IN THE RECALL SINCE MY VIN DIDN'T MATCH THE ONE'S THEY ARE COVERING. MY VIN SHOWS MY CAR WAS MADE IN MEXICO. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW FORD CAN COVER SOME 2011S, BUT NOT MINE THAT HAS THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. I HOPE MY CARE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL SOON. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000 (STEERING) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH JIM HUDSON FORD 1201 W MAIN ST, LEXINGTON, SC 29072 AND DICK SMITH FORD OF COLUMBIA 7201 GARNERS FERRY RD, COLUMBIA, SC 29209 WHO BOTH PRESENTED ESTIMATES FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TO BE PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT MESSAGE CAME ON AND THE VEHICLE HAS NO POWER STEERING, THIS PROBLEM STARTED WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON A CITY STREET, EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO TURN THE VEHICLE ALMOST HITTING 2 OTHER VEHICLES, THIS VEHICLE HAS 40,000 MILES AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN KEPT INSIDE A GARAGE, IT IS A WELL MAINTAINED VEHICLE
NO POWER STEERING ASSIST. SAYS "POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT" AND STEERING IS DIFFICULT. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION
I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 5 MPH ON A STREET WHEN MY BRAKES FAILED AND THE CONTROL PANEL STARTED BLINKING ABOUT ABS FAILURE. I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE CAR USING THE HAND EMERGENCY BRAKE. I TURNED OFF THE IGNITION AND RESTARTED THE CAR AND DROVE MAYBE 100 FEET WHEN THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED--BRAKES FAILED AND CONTROL PANEL STARTED WITH WARNING. I WAS ABLE TO STOP CAR AGAIN WITH EMERGENCY BRAKE. NO DAMAGE TO ANYTHING OR ANYONE. THIS SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO WITH THIS CAR--I TOOK TO A FORD DEALER WHO COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY BRAKES OR THE COMPUTER SOFTWARE FOR THE ABS. I FEEL LUCKY I HAVE NOT BEEN INJURED BECAUSE I WAS DRIVING SLOW AND COULD USE MY EMERGENCY HAND BRAKE, OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE HIT ANOTHER CAR OR OBJECT WITHOUT BRAKES.
MESSAGE ON DASHBOARD READS POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT, THEN A LOSS OF ALL POWER STEERING. POWER STEERING LOSS OCCURRED ONCE WHILE BACKING THE VEHICLE AND ANOTHER WHILE IN FORWARD MOTION AT ABOUT 40 MPH ON A HIGHWAY.
THE POWER STEERING SUDDENLY FREEZES AND MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL.. THIS IS THE 4TH TIME IT HAS HAPPENED. TODAY IT HAPPENED IN A DRIVEWAY, NOT OURS. THERE WAS A WARNING THAT FLASHED, POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT, AS SHOWN BELOW. WIFE TURNED THE ENGINE OFF. WAITED A FEW SECONDS AND TURNED BACK ON, NO WARNING AND STEERING WHEEL TURNED.
POWER STEERING FAILURE, AS DESCRIBED IN FORD RECALL 15S18, NTSA CAMPAIGN 15V340000. VEHICLE ALERTED THAT POWER STEERING NEEDED TO BE SERVICED WHILE IN MOTION TO A HIGHWAY ON-RAMP. NO ISSUES WITH CONTROL, EXITED HIGHWAY AND RETURNED TO RESIDENCE, PARKED. ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE VEHICLE AN ESTIMATED HOUR LATER, AND HAD A COMPLETE POWER STEERING FAILURE AT IGNITION. VEHICLE ALERTED "SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW". ORIGINAL RECALL WORK WAS COMPLETED IN 2016 @105K, NOW @ 170K COMPLETE PART FAILURE, >65K ON NEW PART... FORD STATES WORK/PART WARRANTY ONLY VALID FOR 12MOS, YET NEW PRODUCT THEY WANT TO SELL ME CARRIES A LIFETIME WARRANTY... $2500 FIX FOR A KNOWN ISSUE.
WHEN I PUT MY CAR IN REVERSE FROM A PARKED POSITION, THE SENSOR FOR THE POWER STEERING ELECTRONIC STEERING ASSIST WARNING LIGHT COMES ON AND I STRUGGLE TO TURN THE WHEEL. I HAVE TO SHUT MY CAR OFF AND LET IT SET FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS AND THEN I CAN DRIVE. SOMETIMES IT TAKES ME TURNING OFF MY CAR TWICE. IT HAS ONLY HAPPENED WHEN I PUT MY CAR IN REVERSE.
MY WIFE WAS DRIVING OUR 2011 FUSION AND THE POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME ON AND THE WARNING LIGHT STATED TO SERVICE THE POWER STEERING IMMEDIATELY . THE STEERING LOCKED DOWN WHERE SHE COULD NO LONGER CONTROL THE CAR SO SHE PULLED OVER AND I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO THE LOCAL FORD DEALER : STOKES HODGES FORD (1850 JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY GRANITEVILLE, SC 29829) AT MY EXPENSE. THEY CHECKED AND CONFIRMED THAT THIS POWER STEERING RECALL WAS APPLICABLE TO OUR FUSION AND WOULD INSTALL IT. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT CALLED ME BACK LATER IN THE WEEK AND SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT REPLICATE THE ISSUE AND THAT THE CAR SHOWED NO CODE THEREFORE THEY COULD NOT INSTALL THE RECALL PARTS. MY WIFE ALMOST HAD A SERIOUS ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THE POWER STEERING ISSUE SO SHE IS AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR AGAIN DUE TO HER CLOSE CALL WITH AN ACCIDENT. I FURTHERMORE CALLED THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY OFFICE FOR ISSUES LIKE THIS AND THEY AGREED WITH THE FORD DEALER AND IGNORED ME. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT I INSIST THAT THE RECALL BE INSTALLED BEFORE WE DRIVE THE FUSION AGAIN. . THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION . THE PROBLEM OCCURRED WHILE TURNING ON A HIGHWAY ONTO ANOTHER AT A STOP LIGHT.. THE RECALL CONSISTS OF REPLACING A STEERING GEAR AND AN ELECTRONIC STEERING ASSIST SYSTEM IS WHAT THE DEALER TOLD ME. I BROUGHT THE CAR NEW AND WAS NEVER NOTIFIED BY THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY ABOUT THIS ISSUE. PLEASE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO WE CAN USE THE CAR AGAIN WITHOUT BEING SCARED . THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING HAS COMPLETELY FAILED. THE SAFETY ISSUE THIS CAUSED COULD HAVE BEEN EASILY CATASTROPHIC. GROWING UP IN NON-POWER STEERING YEARS I KNOW THE EFFORT IT TOOK TO STEER, ESPECIALLY WHEN NOT MOVING. HOWEVER, OUR 2011 FORD FUSION , SINCE THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING FAILED YOU CAN HARDLY TURN THE WHEEL AT ALL. I AM THANKFUL MY WIFE WAS NOT GOING AT INTERSTATE SPEED AND TRYING TO EXIT WHEN THIS HAPPENED. I LOOKED ON CONSUMER REPORT TO SEE IF ANY OTHERS OR IF ANY RECALLS WERE REPORTED. I FOUND THAT 445,000 WERE RECALLED BY FORD, 2011-2013. MANY MODELS WERE RECALLED FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM. HOWEVER, WHEN I CALLED TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS THEY SAID OUR 2011 WAS NOT COVERED. THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT WAS ONLY THOSE WITH CERTAIN VIN NUMBERS. SO, OUR VEHICLE NOT ONE OF THE 445,000 RECALLED, HAS THE SAME PROBLEM, SAME SAFETY ISSUES IS NOT COVERED. FORD KNOWS THERE'S A PROBLEM, BUT THEY ARE FAILING TO ADMIT IT. WE HAVE JUST OVER 71000 MILES ON THIS VEHICLE. LIKE MANY OTHER BEFORE US I AM COUNTING ON THE NTSB TO ENCOURAGE FORD TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND RECALL THESE FAULTY UNSAFE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING UNITS AND REPLACE THEM. WHEN YOU HAVE 445000 PROBLEMS YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. THE INCIDENT HAPPENED ON A SECONDARY ROAD AS WELL AS STATIONARY PARKED. I'M GLAD I WAS TEST DRIVING IT FOR MY WIFE NO WAY COULD SHE COULD OF TURNED THE WHEEL. THANK YOU

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,000. THE CONSUMER STATED THE POWER STEERING ANGLE SENSOR FAILED. THE ENTIRE RACK AND PINION WAS REPLACED. THE VEHICLE'S VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SAFETY RECALL.*JS
OUR 2011 FORD FUSION'S ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING FAILED AND LOCKED UP. FORD HAS RECALLED 455,000. OUR MAKE,MODEL, AND YEAR MATCH BUT FORD TELLS ME OUR VIN DOES NOT. THIS IS A HORRIFIC SAFETY ISSUE. NO WARNING IT JUST GOES OUT. FORD TOLD ME JUST TO KEEP MY RECEIPTS AND MAYBE YOUR VIN WILL BE ADDED TO THE LIST. AND MAYBE GET REIMBURSED. THIS CAN BE OVER 2500.00. TO FIX. ONE VIN IS COVERED ONE IS NOT. THE REPLACEMENT PARTS THROUGH FORD HAVE BEEN UPDATED AS TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY DIDN'T TELL ANYBODY THEY DID IT IN A UNETHICALLY. I AM HAVING POWER STEERING PROBLEMS. THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED TWO TIMES SINCE I'VE HAD POSSESSION OF THIS CAR FROM JUNE 29TH 2019 TO OUR CURRENT DATE AND YEAR NOW. THE FIRST TIME THIS OCCURRED, I GOT IN MY PARKED CAR, TURNED THE CAR ON AND NOTICED THAT POWER STEERING NOW WAS FLASHING ON MY CAR. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANT SO AS I PROCEEDED TO DRIVE THE CAR I COULDN'T MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL. IT WAS EXTREMELY HARD AND STILL. THE NEXT DAY I HAD IT TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP TO BE FIXED. THAT WAS BACK IN OCTOBER OF 2019. SO ON FEBRUARY 14 2020 I HAD MY BROTHER DRIVE TO THE GAS STATION FOR GAS. ON HIS WAY OUT THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO GET STIFF AGAIN MAKING IT HARD FOR HIM TO STEER IT. HE MANAGED TO MAKE IT BACK HOME SAFE CONSIDERING HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DRIVE FAR. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS MATTER AND I'VE NEVER HAD TO GO THROUGH ANYTHING LIKE THIS WITH PREVIOUS CARS! PLEASE HELP OR PROVIDE ANSWERS TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER! I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD THIS CAR A WHOLE YEAR YET AND THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

THE CONTACT STATED WHILE HER NEPHEW WAS DRIVING AT APPROXIMATE 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER STEERING FUNCTIONALITY AND DRIFTED TO THE RIGHT OF THE ROAD WITH NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT'S NEPHEW WAS ABLE TO POWER OFF THE VEHICLE HOWEVER IT TOOK SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSIS OR REPAIRS. A DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THE REPAIRS TO REPLACE THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING WOULD BE $2,000. THE CONTACT REFERENCED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V34000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 159,000.

LAST NIGHT WHILE DRIVING THRU THE CITY, A DASHBOARD LIGHT CAME IN INDICATING THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH MY POWER STEERING AND IT BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER MY CAR. WHEN I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND THEN RESTARTED IT, THE STEERING WAS NORMAL, BUT A FEW MINUTES LATER, THE STEERING STIFFENED AGAIN AND THE WARNING LIGHT CAME BACK ON. LUCKILY, I GOT HOME SAFELY, WITH A LOT OF EFFORT. BUT, THUS IS A VERY DANGEROUS MALFUNCTION. I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE, BUT MY VIN ISN'T INCLUDED. WHY?

THE DRIVER'S SIDE LOCK STICKS WHILE USING THE KEY FOB TO OPEN. HAVE TO ENTER THROUGH THE PASSENGER DOOR AND MANUALLY UNLOCK THE DOOR USING THE HANDLE AND THE LOCK AT THE SAME TIME. LOCK MECHANISM WILL NOT AT ALL AUTOMATICALLY WHETHER INSIDE OR USING KEY FOB. I'VE DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH 2011 ERA FORD FUSIONS. WAS NOT AWARE WHEN I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE IN JANUARY 2020.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 192,000.

WHEN I GOT IN THE CAR AND TRIED TO PULL OFF THE STEERING WHEEL WOULDN'T MOVE. IT STILL WONT MOVE NOW.
WHENEVER I MAKE A CERTAIN TURN MY WHEEL LOCKS UP AND I CAN NO LONGER TURN WITHOUT WRESTLING MY WHEEL TO TURN. MY DASHBOARD STARTS TO GO OFF AND I GET A MESSAGE 'POWER ASSIST AT FAULT'. THE STEERING GOT A LITTLE STIFFER, WHEN I STARTED THE CAR BACK AFTER PUTTING GAS IN THE POWER STEERING WAS COMPLETELY OUT. THERE IS A RECALL ON THEM FROM 2010 TO 2015, BUT I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND WHEN I SEARCH VIN IT SHOWS THERE IS NO RECALLS. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY MY FUSION IS NOT RECALLED BUT DOES HAVE THE PROBLEM.

LOOKING UP RECALL INFORMATION, MY VEHICLE'S PROBLEM EXACTLY MATCHED RECALL # 15V340000 ISSUED IN 2015. HOWEVER, MY LOCAL FORD DEALER STATED MY CAR WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL BECAUSE OF WHERE IT WAS MANUFACTURED. THE RECALL SEEMS TO BE A SCAM WITH AN "EASY OUT" FOR FORD ON THIS DANGEROUS CONDITION. IT SHOULD BE EXPANDED TO COVER THE REAL-WORLD FORD OWNERS WHO ARE STUCK WITH AN UNSAFE VEHICLE WHILE BEING TOLD THEIR VEHICLE WAS MADE IN THE WRONG FACTORY TO BE COVERED. UNLESS THERE IS AN ACTION TAKEN ON THIS SCAM, WE ARE STUCK WITH AN UNWARRANTED $2000 REPAIR BILL. AT THE MOMENT THE STEERING SYSTEM LOCKED UP IT FORCED ME OFF THE HIGHWAY. I WAS ABLE TO PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM RECEIVING ANY DAMAGE BY EASING ON THE BRAKES. IT WAS HARD TO CORRECT THE DIRECTION IN WHICH THE VEHICLE HAD BEGAN TRAVELING ONCE THE STEERING SYSTEM LOCKED BUT I DID MANAGE TO GET IT SAFELY STOPPED. I THEN GOT THE VEHICLE TURNED AROUND AND DROVE IT STRAIGHT TO ASHEVILLE FORD. THEY PERFORMED A MULTI-POINT INSPECTION IN WHICH THEY DETERMINED THAT THE STEERING SYSTEM WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. WE ARRIVED AT OUT DESTINATION AND MY ARMS WERE BURNING FROM FIGHTING IT INTO A TIGHT PARKING SPOT. I LEFT IT OFF FOR A WHILE AND TRIED AGAIN AND THE SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW WARNING WAS BACK. I BUILT UP THE STRENGTH TO MAKE THE DRIVE BACK HOME. ENTERING THE ROAD AT 10 MPH THE SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC NOW WARNING GOES OFF. WE MADE IT HOME SAFELY AND I DON'T WANT MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TO GET BACK IN IT UNTIL IT'S REPAIRED. I CALLED FORD AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NO RECALL AND I DID MY RESEARCH BEFORE TALKING TO THEM AND I SAID "HOW IS THIS NOT A SAFETY RECALL, I'VE READ ON FORUMS THIS IS A $2000 REPAIR" AND HE AGREED LIKE HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT MY ISSUE WAS.
